Problems with brand new Mercedes A220. Tony Saienni did a fantastic job on getting issues sorted out and provided a loaner car for the two weeks my car was in the shop waiting for parts from Mercedes Benz.
Not easy, but worked out a good deal. 3 Standouts for me. Tom, the service manager totally understands what customer service is. Glen, in the Parts Dept. is just plain GREAT!!! Stephen, our salesperson was a pleasure to deal with before and after the sale. Some salespeople think that their job is done once you sign on the dotted line, but that is NOT the case with Stephen.
I Purchased an extremely low mileage Mercedes roadster from Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington in April 2019. I live more than 400 miles away from the dealership and located the car on Auto trader. After negotiating a deal over the phone, I flew to Philadelphia where I was picked up by the dealership and taken to Wilmington.The car was as advertised, extremely clean and the closing transaction took less than one hour. They even programmed my GPS so I could find my way home. I was home eight hours later. I received the title in the mail 16 days after purchasing the car. The transaction was great and I would recommend this dealership. The only reason I did not give five stars was that during the phone Q&A and negotiation I felt that they could’ve been a bit better at responding.

Unfortunately this dealership takes total advantage of the consumer. I own a 05 clk 320 cabrio. My convertible top was not opening and closing. They advised me what part was needed. As it turned out, it wasn't the part I needed.

Just a little obnoxious. I tried to buy a used MB car, and give them 1200-1500 over fair sales value from just about every car buying site. The car had an unexplained clunk in the back, the tires were bald - and I only asked for new tires. A prudent dealer would have already changed them. The sales person got the "Sales Manager", and he promptly pulled out the "We don't negotiate our prices here..." card. Well. neither does Carmax - but they are at least in the zip code of fair pricing. The manager was kind of rude actually. I was willing to pay more than the car was worth, and need good tires for my family. Still, the car was clean, and it rode well - with the exception of the clunk - and I would have bought a 3-4 year maintenance plan just in case. I even offered 1000 more, but I guess they needed to make more profit. I'll tell my friends: I guess MB of Wilmington is more focused on exclusivity than it is customers.

We had been to multiple dealerships but we went for this dealership because of how well they treat their customers. My next vehicle for sure is going to be from them.

However, after a few hours, I knew in my mind that I would be driving away in a new vehicle based on the great selection. Really dont appreciate being lied to..Contacted 2 separate MB dealers. 1 1/2 hours for trans cooler line, yet I was charged for 4 1/2 hours labor..I'm considering contacting DMV and also filing a fraud case in small claims. Unbelievable...Didn't think i would get the smile in my face and hand on my wallet routine. Im a used car dealer, so I understand mark ups but...With all due respect. The Service Manager is incompetent and was only focused on being smug on the phone and lying...BAD SERVICE, no desire to rectify. Just on principle alone i will pursue this issue...
First time in for service as promised on a We Owe You at time of sale. Was given a free 2018 C300 loaner which was very nice, and when I dropped off my car I brought up a couple small issues ( used MB) they handled, to my surprise, free of charge. My salesman David G. personally handled the arrangements. When I was surprised to get a zero bill, the response was “This is Mercedes-Benz.” This is exactly the difference from other dealers- they go the extra mile. a shout out as well to the manager. They want you have a great experience with the car and the dealership.

We traveled to Wilmington this past weekend and had a flat tire event. We drove our GLE350 to this location in the earlier Saturday Morning. The Service advisor (Logan) helped us and he checked our car immediately. A nail in the tire was founded and our car was fixed within 30 mins with Free of charge! I went into Mercedes Benz of Wilmington DE this morning for a schedule B maintenance and I have never felt so unwelcomed!!! I have been going to them for years and they made me feel like a second class customer. The staff was very unfriendly and seemed not concerned. As I was leaving, I thought to myself, why would I spend 5+ hundreds of dollars???? Really....I went in and asked for my car back...hmmmm and they asked " what's the problem" I told them I wanted the GM to call me....I felt like they were doing me a favor me giving them my business???? when they pulled my car around the a*#hole made me walk near the gate which is not next to where they usually pull your car up and just walked away!! I will drive to Westchester and do business there.
I recently purchased a low mileage E350. Intended on just going for a test drive but my sales associate Shelby made the experience so painless I ended up buying. The team stayed late working on the deal and ensuring all my needs were met. Since than, Shelby, has reached out to me a couple times just ensuring everything is perfect. We just bought our 2018 GLE350 Feb. 5, 2018, This is our 4th Mercedes SUV. Never in all our years have we ever had such an experience. Our salesman was very nice, but not totally informed. But the worst was going Monday, Feb. 5th to pick it up. They knew we were coming between 5:30-6pm to pick up. It was a cash deal, they already had our title so as all our other deals we were in and out. We live 1 hour away. Got there about 5:23pm. Our car was completely cleaned out just waiting to do the paper work and done. NOT!! We sat there for over 2 hours and didn't get out of there until after 8pm. They were not prepared, couldn't find a sticker/tag. The gentleman that was doing the paper work never acknowledged or apologized for the inconvience or taking so long. After all was done, our salesman apologized and said I will be in touch tomorrow, well that never happened either. Guess they got their money and don't care if we ever come back or not. So disappointed, could have dealt closer, our mistake.

We went here late a couple times and they still were very accommodating an able to meet all of needs. They answered all of the questions we asked and we never felt like they were pressuring us or being shady. We bought an awesome car here and definitely recommend this place!
I had a blow out on the highway driving between Salisbury MD and NYC just outside of Wilmington DE. My car limped into the dealership on its run flat tire. Tony in service was incredible! I was in and out on my new tire in about 20 minutes. I only wish that I lived closer so I could become a regular customer!!
From the time I drive my car in the door to the time I get my keys, I'm treated very well. Mike Roth takes the time to get to know whose car he's overseeing the work on, he follows up in a timely manner with all tech recommendations, and he advises on the best course of action. Never any less than a great experience which is not something I've ever said about taking my car in for repair or maintenance prior to coming to MB of Wilm.

I called Mercedes Benz of Wilmington to inquire about a low mileage E350 that I saw online and within 5 minutes I had an appointment later on that evening to come and check out the car. When I arrived at the dealership, Vic was waiting and greeted me with a smile and a bottle of water (it was 100 degrees outside). Next, Vic showed me the car and let me just say it was immaculate!!! I knew after test driving the car that it was "the one". Once we arrived back at the dealership, Vic worked diligently until he was able to come up with a deal that I was comfortable with. Terrible experience. The it took over 20 min for a sales person to even acknowledge I was there. I ask the sales guy about their current incentives and he responded "I dont know what you mean" then he told me i needed to know the car I wanted. I thought he was hired to educate me on the models not vice versa.

My salesperson, Alissa, was really awesome. I was dreading the car buying experience, and she made it easy. She knew her stuff. Answered all of my questions & never felt pressured.
i went for regular full oil change service, battery replacement and other maint. and I specifically asked the service manager to ensure that the car passes the emissions test post the service. Before the service, he noted down the point and acknowledged the request. But when we took the car to for emissions test, it failed. Reasons for the failure were head lights not functioning and the OBD computer was not responding since there was a new battery installed. How come MB service managers don't understand the request.
Brought my vehicle in for a free recall. Instead of addressing the recall, they run my vehicle on their diagnostics machine without my consent and try and charge me $200. When I refused to pay it, they tell me they can no longer address my recall until the $200 is paid. I sat in the waiting area and listened to Tony tell an older gentleman his car repairs were over $600 and he too was in for a recall. I wrote a letter to corporate to tell them of Tony's actions, as well as his boss. Both employees should be fired for being dishonest to their customers.

Good place , got appointments in one day, but expensive parts costed 450$ and labour 600$. Just to update navigation they charge 250$ it's free provided by Google. Very good experience, they took car for service when i reached. Proactive to complete documentation. Did proper Inspection. Im satisfied with the services and customer service. Put a request for test driving a car , they asked to put a loan application to the bank , once approved they will put up a contract and then allow test drive . It is the most ridiculous thing i have experienced . Currently own Two BMW's did not expect this from Mercedes.

Hello - I had a great experience with the sales team back in 2016. EJ was awesome. When you have a Mercedes you expect white glove service, which I have never received once the sales process was over. When I call I feel like I am passed over to someone's voicemail faster than I can finish talking. I am never offered a pick up and loaner car, I always have to ask for it. Also, reaching someone in services is usually a daunting task. And, when I do get someone and ask for a copy of my lease just to confirm I am covering what is required, I get the response "that is not a part of my job". Really disappointed in the customer service that you would expect from a luxury vehicle brand. I will look into another location for my next vehicle.

To begin with I'm not really a dealer person nor am I a Mercedes person. I'm a BMW fanatic! However, after being unable to find a mechanic to work my Mother's car, I took it to the dealer. I was delightfully surprised at how good the customer service was here. After they diagnosed the problem with the car and I told them it was too expensive , ($3,100) they helped me find alternative solutions. They even washed the car for me after they completed the diagnosis. I didn't have any work done here so I can't really rate the quality of the work, thus the 4 star rating. All I can say is that I was treated very well and their diagnosis was right on point.
Was a relatively painless experience getting my first Mercedes couple months ago, though it did take me 3 weeks to negotiate a reasonable price...the service dept was quite amazing! Tony is the guy I usually go to for scheduling services and he is a really nice guy to interact with. Everyone else is also very helpful. Will continue to go there for services, although I do hope I won’t go there too much other than maintenance.

From beginning to end it was exceptional. Compared to another dealership, I was treated as a potential client immediately and felt respected. As we live two hours away, We began our discussion with Jacqlyn via the telephone. She was extremely responsive, informative and gave us more information within a 20 minute phone call/text session than the 3-4 days we were waiting dealing with the other Mercedes dealership. We ended up driving up the next day with 2 young children and drove off the lot with our brand new car all less than 24 hours after my initial contact with Jacqlyn. Dave was the floor person who walked us through all that the car can do...there were numerous times when he explained something the other dealership didn't know! He was also very smart, kind, energetic and had a great way with our boys which means the world to us. Lastly, my husband will be looking at new cars in the next few months for himself and I am highly encouraging him to buy one from the same team as they did such an excellent job.

Hands down the best MB Dealership on earth! It's always worth the drive from PA. Wow... everytime I come in I get treated like royalty lol. I just adjusted my front Bumper and grill at no cost. A Dealership in PA charged me 400 to do the same work... I walked away like a boss. Two weeks ago I came in for something else and was charged only $7. Jason Kuczeriawenko and Bob, thank you so much for your professionalism and patience. Harry from Finance was really nice to me too. He answered all of my questions without issues. I'm spreading the word about this place. 10 stars all the way!

One of the reasons I return to Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington when I am ready to buy a new car is that I love the service I receive when having my car in for its routine service. Customer service here is excellent. Everyone is polite, friendly, and helpful and the service is always done right. I especially appreciate their shuttle service and loaner car service, which saves my time while my car is being serviced.
The only reason I give this dealership one star is because Vic and Micheal Manley were nice. However, I DO NOT recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership. I purchased my CLA 250 on October 10, 2017 and the day i drove it home the check engine light came on. Called Vic and he said if it comes back on to bring the car in for service. Mind you I was told the car had been thru a rigorous certified inspection before buying. After the car was serviced, they said they needed to replace the brakes and reset something on the engine. I felt a little sketchy about it, but moved forward with bringing the car home. Only a month and half after having the car,an alert came on stating that the engine coolant is too hot and to turn the car off. The thermostat was pointing all the way up to the highest level! I had my 6 year daughter with me as we waited on the side of the street (December 2nd) for the tow truck to pick up the car. I spoke to the general manager Mike Manley and he was trying to be very helpful with replacing my car, but Carlos Arias is a complete JERK! Mike Manley told me that Carlos was to send me options to replace my car with and he NEVER reached out to me. I came into the dealership after waiting 3 weeks, to speak to Carlos and all he did was be defensive and not listen to my concerns. He was not sympathetic or apologetic for my whole experience. Which is VERY upsetting to me. DO NOT BUY A CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! The cars are not inspected as they should and they do not try to accommodate their customers. The Pre-owned manager Carlos Aria is RUDE and will not care about your experience.
Alissa was my sales person and from two years ago she manage to stay in contact with me, checking in when new vehicles came in, that she thought I would be interested in. I really appreciate her not being a pushy sales person and allowing me to take my time in making a decision. Well, I must say with her help and Derek’s ( the sales manager) they won me over and I bought the vehicle! Orietta at Mercedes Benz of Wilmington was so thorough in going over all the features in my vehicle. She was pleasant, friendly and had a great sense of humor. I really appreciate the time she took without rushing and making sure I understand the benefits I had in my vehicle. Thank you! I arrived & a man came out to greet me . The same man who came out to greet me 5 years ago . First off he was totally rude & started to trash my Lincoln & said he would grab whatever they offered on it ! I said its 40 years old & has won 9 trophy's & I don't intend on trading it in ! He then showed me two cars & did not even offer to get me the keys ? This is the same man who had the balls to ask me if I could afford a Benz ? I was so sickened that I said yes I could & I also could afford a winter home in Palm Springs & one in Bar harbor ! I finally said I had to deal with you years ago & left the dealer & went to west Chester Jag & bought a new xj8 which I still have . Also I left that day & went back up to west Chester Jag & bought another xf model . They certainly know how to treat a person . I'm done with this dealership ! Beyond RUDE !!!

Have my car did serviceB, my car was still dirty after the service. They did not even wash my car, I’m not sure if they even did the service. My car was ran more than 15 miles by THEM, I would like to know where did they drive my car to, also there are some possible new scratch from them. I have done services for four years here, and they did not wash my car two years ago either. I’m very disappointed and I will report to the Benz Customer service and never come back again. Used my car without my permission, shame on you!!!!!!
