We experienced some mechanical problems leaving the beach for Pennsylvania last Friday. We stopped in their Rehoboth location and they were booked solid so the gentleman called the Milford location and Janice agreed to squeeze us in. Janice couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They had us back on the road in a few hours. By the way we had our dog (75 lb Golden Retriever) and they couldn't be nicer to her. After dog treats and some water and an air-conditioned service waiting area it was hard to get her back in the Tahoe. It's no wonder why they have been in business almost 100 yrs. I didn't mention it to Janice but our company has about 15 vehicles on the road and they are all Chevy's. I think we will keep it that way. Thanks to all at i.g. Burton for making a potential bad situation for our family at little less painful.

I took my car to the dealership because my purge valve was experiencing a leak, I scheduled an appointment and dropped my car off in the morning and was told it’ll be done before the day was over...WRONG! They kept my car until the afternoon the next day. I get my car and they explain all that’s wrong and what I needed to get done. I thought they looked out because they fixed other things that was wrong with my car that fell under my warranty....once again WRONG! 3 months later my car starts sputtering and my traction light comes on. I took it to a shop and they told me that my car was misfiring. They pulled the part out the IG replaced and one of my boots was broken and someone at IG burton felt the need to DUCT TAPE the one that was broke in cylinder one instead of just getting a new part and starting over. I don’t know if this was done because I am a woman or if the mechanics are just that careless but believe me when I say that I will never ever take my car back to this dealership and if you are smart you wouldn’t let them touch your car either.

I HAVE HAD SOME PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH I G BURTON AND HAVE NOT BEEN HAPPY WITH NONE.....I WISH I COULD RATE THEM WITH A ZERO STAR..... STAFF IS VERY UNFRIENDLY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I THINK IT IS VERY RUDE TO DISCONNECT WITH THE OTHER PARTY ON THE OTHER END PHONE WITH OUT EVENING SAYING BYE.....THE IGNORANCE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I bought a used Explorer from Ron a couple of weeks ago, I looked at the vehicle a week or so before I bought it, on my first visit I felt no pressure from Ron, he was pleasant, direct and laid back... unusual in a dealership. I got one follow up call, other places were doing everything they could to get me to "buy today" when I told them I had other vehicles to see, many talked to me like I knew nothing about buying a car!.. and then blew my phone up every day after I left. I could have bought a used Explorer anywhere but I went back because Ron didn't do the above. He knew I was serious but didn't feed me a bunch of nonsense to make the sale. Also I'm in Maryland, other large dealers said I would have to get my vehicle inspected on my time with my money but they would refund the cost of any necessary repairs!?.... Ron sent a driver to my house in MD who left me a loaner while they took care of my state inspection!.... I'll be in the market for a BMW in a few months, I know who I'm calling first!

Giving them 1 star because overall the car i guess is a pretty decent car (kia optima 2015 ex gdi) and i had no credit but they still found a way to help me finance and get the car. i give credit when its due. Just recently got it, probably had it for a couple weeks now brakes or rotors started squeaking bad i asked them for help with that because i just got the car and honestly i dont think i should have to pay anything to get them fixed. After a week of trying to get answers on help for the brakes or whatever it was that was making it squeak loudly i finally was able to bring my car their for them to look at it and fix the issue and they said it was the 2 front rotors and replaced them and that actually gave the front rotors problems it didn't have and i paid 150 for that. I also mentioned how the car started to shake when it was in idle and even sent a video of how the engine sometimes sounded which was not normal unfortunately that was ignored. When i gave them the money for “fixing” the squeaking sound on the way home from the dealership the car again started squeaking loudly come to find out its coming from the back tires. They got my money for the front rotors and i wont go back to their again to get my car “fixed” unless its for FREE. Also the car had no antenna cover when i got it but they said they had already ordered the cover and when it arrived they would let me know after weeks of waiting for that cover my attempt to put it on came to a very fast conclusion which was the cover that they had gave me wasnt even the right cover for the car and did not fit or work at all basically it was useless and on top of that the antenna piece was broken meaning i’d need a whole new replacement not just a cover and my car shut off on me twice with the oil light, engine light, and battery light coming on.

Ok first thing I have to say is I was helped by a wonderful woman named Julie when I purchased my vehicle, and I have not one bad thing to day about her. As far as the dealership, well that's another story. I purchased my used SUV from here because I thought I was getting a great deal, turns out, don't believe what they tell you. After the purchase,which had a pretty clean Carfax, I drive the vehicle home and, yes it's my own fault for not getting it done first, I have my mechanic look it over telling me it had substantial front end work done on it. Ok so buyer beware. I should have know something was up when the finance guy tells me, I'm responsible for getting it ready for inspection in NY because for some reason the vehicles never pass first inspection. Well guess what, he was 100% right. Turns out they only fix what they want when they sell you a used car. Now I'm stuck paying over 800 dollars for lower ball joints on top of what I thought was a good deal. Seems like next time I want to be scammed by a dealership I'll just stay in my home area, at least then I could show up and argue with them instead of having to drive 5 hours, and to think originally I was ready and willing to return there to purchase my next vehicle. I don't see that happening in any near future. So in the end, if you buy used from here, have your mechanic check it out first. Save yourself the headache.

I had an extremely unfortunate event with my 2010 Chevy Equinox where my transmission went out. I had taken it to this location for prior service and decided to have it towed here to see what we could do. Unfortunately I needed a whole new transmission and I couldn't afford that, and it didn't make sense to put that money into it. I also still owed over 8k on it so I was at a loss on what I could possibly do or afford with that kind of negative equity. That's when the service department referred me to MIKE JAMES and he was amazing. He understood my situation and did not once try to take advantage of me. He managed to keep me in my price range by getting me a rebate on a brand new 2019 Chevy Cruze. Mark Ivy was the finance guy and also amazing. I'm so happy that Mike didn't push me anywhere outside my comfort zone and still got me into a reliable car within my budget including my negative equity. These guys really saved the day and my wallet.

My experience was with your repair facility. It took longer than originally stated but yes I was told this may be the case if, once the area was disassembled, it was noted more parts may be required. This was the case but it was the delay between the shop and the ins. carrier. All worked our excellently and Alex, my primary contact at the shop was super to work with. Walked in to the Chevrolet dealership after my car service from BMW on the 25th. No receptionist Around 11 Am. I walk around for 10 minuets. All the sales people are in the office on the computer. No sense of attention on the sales floor. I’m the only guy their with one Corvette on the sales floor. I grab the suburban book and walked out. Im in the marker for a biger car and wanted to see the inventory and price. Didn’t happen yesterday. Maybe it was just a bad day and bad time. Still in that kind of business no excuse .

Loved my 2016 Chevy Malibu up until recently. Eddie Reader helped get me into this car and he was wonderful my issue has been with service. The stabilitrak and check engine light came on right before an across country trip. I called saying I wanted that looked at and everything checked to make sure this car was in good shape for the trip. Waited all day had to call before they closed to ask when I could get my car and was told that they planned to keep it for a few days I needed a new engine but that would be under warranty. When I picked up my car I was charged for a oil change as if being without a car for a week and the inconvenience wasn't enough. Got down the road and had to turn around and take my car back because the AC no longer. They said something tore while putting engine in and fixed that the same day for me. Now 2 weeks later my check engine light and stabilitrak light comes back on. Same issue before when I needed a engine. Apparently a clamp was loose and fluids were leaking. I bought this car because I needed something more reliable now I really just want to get rid of it before I have to start paying out of pocket to fix a practically new car.

My transmission in my truck failed traveling from NJ to the Outer Banks for vacation. Another local Chevy dealer refused to even scan it for codes. I showed up at Ig Burton and explained my situation. They were working on it within 15 minutes. They sent someone on a two hour round trip to pick up a torque converter. I was back on the road with a new torque converter by 430 that afternoon. They saved my vacation and fixed my truck!

Went in with my father and bought a 2017 f250 the salesperson was great nice to work with the manager Dave was a pretty decent guy only problem I have with him is after he said a price it had magically increased 2000 dollars during the closing of sale the main issue was the finance woman was very rude at first when I asked Dave if he could finish the deal because I didn't like her attitude she turned right around and became the nicest person you'd meet. The buying experience here is your average car dealer ig burton likes to claim it values customers first but that is not the case they are just the same as other dealers. In conclusion I'd buy another vehicle from them but not the first or second place I'd go.

Pretty good experience buying a used vehicle there I have purchased before at the Mercedes location and no problem. My salesman was great the finance guy was great and the insurance woman as well. Detail really clean the truck up nice and they filled it up. The sales manager was a little too typical car salesman , told me my trade wasn't worth anything and that the blue books numbers that I was looking at were no good.He also quoted me a rate which never came through and then left for the day. Overall happy with my purchase.

I personally have had great experience here. In early June, I decided that I really wanted a Camaro. I'm only 20, so I figured that I wouldn't be able to afford a new 2015. I was riding by I.G Burton, and seen a white one that had black stripes. I stopped, but only to test drive it. I walked in, and walked right to Matt Burgess (who is great!) and told him that I wanted to test drive the one out front, and he didn't waste no time to grab the keys, and I absolutely fell in love with the car. Afterwards, he took my information, and I promised I would be back later that week. I brought my mom to help with my first "official" car purchase by myself. I told Matt where I needed to be as far as my payments, he worked numbers and did everything he could for me. The only thing that seemed to take the longest was waiting to hear back from the banks because no one wanted to take me because I have never purchased a car before, although my credit score is EXTREMELY good for being 20. After having a bank approve me, the ball started to roll, and I could have not been more happier. The finance guy (whose name I cannot remember) was funny, and made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend working with Matt!

I was traveling from New York and suddenly had a mishap with my 2015 camaro ZL-1. I had the car flatbeded to the nearest Chevy dealer, IG Burton. I met with service advisor Zach Weiss and explained my problem and my urgency to get back to NY. Right away I felt Zach understood my concerns, worked with me with the unique problems I had and immediately started to help me solve my issues. Everything came together quickly and I was on my way. Went to Buy a car. The salesperson, Ariel, was courteous. We made an offer and Ariel brought in a counter offer. All that was ok and then the Manager Vincent came to talk and he was downright rude. His words were - "Its either this offer or the door". Think about it - this is a dealership whose manager shows the customers the door. The salesperson had an aghast look on his face and shaking his head. No wonder the car has not been sold for last 6 months. Don't know how IG Burton has been in the business for so long - maybe it depends on the masochist customers who like to be demeaned.
