Typical handshaking ol buddy auto salesman, 2 managers and the finance guy. I had to meet them all as I went through their process. I bought the vehicle but finance guy forgot to include the deposit I left two days earlier. They realized it and salesman left voicemail saying a check would be mailed. That was 17 DAYS AGO. I have contacted them twice to hear “it’s in process” so I emailed the general manager yesterday, no reply. It’s incompetence or dishonesty. Later that afternoon - Wow! Look at that snarky response. And so fast! You don’t like dishonesty so I guess we’ll go with incompetence. You would get farther with me if the experience and this contact were more focused on the customer needs and expectations rather than your staff and policies.

Excellent, hassle-free buying experience. We knew exactly what we wanted in a Prius Prime plug-in hybrid. They just sold their only unit in stock, but found what we wanted at another dealer and had it transported in 24 hours. They readily shared invoice/list price numbers (which matched what we had) and we quickly agreed on a very fair deal. This is our third vehicle from Hertrich - I'm sure being an established customer helped the experience, but we return because of Toyota quality and excellent service.

I was there a week ago and the person who waited on me took his good old time coming out to see what I needed. I was informed earlier I did not need a appointment to have the 5 month 5,000 mile offer by Toyota. I was misinformed and the assistant manager JADI informed me without an appointment I would have at least a three hour wait. I said I was willing to wait for a while but if I needed to go I would have to leave. He stated that the other six vehicles waiting for service since the morning needed done before mine. I asked if there were other places I could go. He said he thought there was one in Salisbury. I went home and made an appointment for the following Thursday. The gentleman I had on 10-25 could not have been any nicer and eager to help me. He was very thorough and explained everything to me about the offer and what would be done. Maybe his superior needs to take a lesson from his employee on how to treat customers. If not for us returning service customers , service management might not have jobs.

Went for 80,000 mile maintenance on my Toyota Tundra. Everything went smoothly, no surprises. I’ve had all my service done at Hertrich Toyota since I bought the truck there new in 2012. I went here to look at a 2015 Scion FRS. (Retail value of $20,000 back in 2015, value now is 12.4-14.7k. They had it listed for 18.8k.) I went, test drove it, liked it, told them I’d be doing a co-sign, they immediately didn’t like that. Pressured me into signing on my own but would not tell me the APR. also, they had the keys to my car for “an appraisal” but in reality, they were in the salesman’s pocket the whole time. LITERALLY held me hostage until I paid them for “holding the car for 48 hours Incase I change my mind” after telling them over and over I was just looking. I had work call the dealership and tell them I needed to leave. OH BUT IT DIDNT STOP THERE! As soon as my job called, the sales manager came out and said “congrats! We can get you in this car today! Just hand me your debit card and I’ll take your $3000 down payment!” To which I obviously declined. That’s when I was starting to panic, knowing they were scamming me. They tried everything. I was asking to leave, would not let Me, as they had my keys. They would not let up with the “we need money to hold the car here for you” so just to shut these inbred idiots up, I let them take $50 out of my account. Please note that I did not get my keys back to my car until after I handed my card to the cashier. Still trying to get ahold of them for a refund which looks like will not be happening. They won’t haggle on price, their sales pitch is super aggressive and they will hold you there until they squeeze even a penny out of you. Do not go to this dealership. You’re better off buying a car from a meth head on Craigslist.

Brought brought my RAV4 in for 10000 mile service...I was also having a problem with my navigation screen always going back to a split screen. I thought it was a big problem. The service advisor, Mark, knew right away what the problem was. This was the second time that I had a technical problem and both times Mark knew how to correct it. I really like when the advisor knows his vehicles. The service took less than an hour including the free car wash. I continue to be impressed with the service department at Hertrich Toyota.

The only thing negative was recommending fuel treatment. A big part of purchasing was the 3 year service agreement with Toyota care. If this was a recommended service it should be covered under the agreement. Don't try selling something I don't need and that's what i felt was beng done. Everything else was great! Service was done and in a timely manner. Once again fuel service was recommended as well as tire v!balance and alignment. This was recommended before the car left the welcome center. It blows my mind how anyone can suggest service without ever entering or driving the car or looking at tire wear. Of course they knew how much it was going to cost upfront? I hope this isn't a circumstance where people who don't know are simply taken advantage of. Just not right. Things like this reflect where I buy and go for service. I thought the car was covered for 30,000 miles on recommended service, and it is not because the services suggested were not based on proper vehicle inspections. Real SLICK!

Linda was great. She explained all the features of my Corolla in detail. She even helped me set up all the apps in my car through my phone. She went above and beyond. She also did something no other sales person has done for me since I've been buying cars, she called a month later to see how I was enjoying the car. That was great. Sales people usually only contact you after the sale if there's a problem. Otherwise you never hear from them again. Linda was not like that and I feel that makes all the difference. This was our first visit to Hertrich Toyota. We recently moved here from Pennsylvania and a dealership that was top notch! Hertrich Toyota is our new home for our 2016 Highlander. The Service Representative was excellent. He provided us a detailed explanation as to what was going to be performed on our vehicle and took us on mini tour of the dealership before dropping us in the lounge to wait for our vehicle to be completed. He was courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with! As most customers must do, we assume all of the work was performed. That even washed our car (but didn’t dry it and there were water marks all over it when it dried!). I certainly appr crate them washing my vehicle, but I probably won’t let them wash it in the future because I am entirely too finnicky and don’t like having water marks on the windshield and paint. Other than that, everything else seemed to be just fine. Thanks for a great job and I look forward to future service and perhaps the purchase of another vehicle.

This was my first visit to Hertrich Toyota, as I only recently moved to Delmarva. Service advisor John provided me a tour of the facilities and helped me make a service appointment. When I arrived for my maintenance service appointment, he had already checked the maintenance and service record for my 2013 Highlander, since most of the service had been provided by a Toyota dealer near my previous home. John carefully and clearly explained the one non-maintenance item that needed attention. He also told me what to expect on my next few maintenance visits. In short, the service was perfect.

I recently had my car in for services to be done regarding recalls. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. While dropping my car off my friend and i definetly walked around to take a look at some cars and unlike some other places some of the sales associates were so quick at approaching and super nice. They had introduced themselves and offered some help. Although, i wasnt on the market to shop i was very regretful to that. But if i definetly had the mindset, the money, and a good credit score i definetly would have tried to make a purchase. For the service done to my car i thank you would like to thank them for their time and efforts. They do such a great job. I will definetly come back for any problems in the future or if i am in the market for a new car.
