I've been driving Acuras from Schaller Acura since the early 90's and my experiences with both Sales and Service have been nothing less than excellent. Teri Lupacchino has been my salesperson the entire time and it's like doing business with a family member. Teri knows what I'm interested in and takes care of every detail, making the buying/leasing experience very easy for me and hassle free. And dealing with the Service team has also been a very positive experience from day 1. I have a high level of confidence that my cars are being well cared for and they never try to have me get work done that isn't necessary. Great group of people to deal with, always friendly, and flexible with the timing of service visits and the use of loaner cars if I need one. All around great experiences with the Schaller team!

After perusing the lot for about 3 minutes I was greeted by Rob Horton, who from that point forward collaborated with me to get me into the car I most desired. After enjoying a nice test drive with Rob in a 2011 MDX-tech, we went inside to discuss business. Rob aptly described the the pre-certification process for new cars and the amount of work that is performed on their used car inventory. Prior to visiting this dealership I had performed an ample amount of research and had a pretty good idea about where I wanted to land with this car. What I appreciated most about Rob was his ability to manage my expectations with that of the business goal of the dealership. At the same time he was receptive to my thoughts and needs, which he aptly communicated to the business manager. After a number of back and forths with the business manager, which Rob served as the key conduit, we came to an agreement that was mutually beneficial to both sides. Although Rob was not a decision maker on either end, he was the one driving the negotiation that lead to a win for both parties, the buyer and seller. Great guy, friendly, and genuinely concerned for your satisfaction.

I just cameback from Schaller Acura.... It was just outstanding service as I have gone to other local Acura dealer twice to fix my remote engine starter but all I heard was from them was "nothing wrong." Finally, I went to Schaller Acura in Manchester for the first time. They have taken more than 2 hours to go through all the remote engine starter transactions for the last six months of my 2017 RDX and have told me about the transactions. They have recommended to reset all the electronics to see if it works. The remote engine starter was poorly installed by a small Acura dealer in Hudson Valley NY state and have been suffered for six months. Now everything work so good. I will go back to them going forward !!!

Our first experience with Schaller Acura was in 2004 when we purchased a TSX. Now we have another PHENOMENAL experience to talk about with our recent purchase of a 2017 Acura RDX Advanced Package. Michael Uhlman is the BEST car sales consultant my husband and I have ever dealt with. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and never, ever pressured us. He was very patient with our questions about the electronic technology that was in the vehicle. Michael never rushed us; on the contrary, he took his time to ensure all topics were covered and any questions or concerns were addressed. EXCEPTIONALLY AWESOME job, Michael!!! We just purchased tsx wagon from Teri and Brian. Awesome people well worth the drive from Stamford. Paperwork was mostly done online before we drove down there ,car was waiting for us,after 20 minutes inside the office we were on our way back to Stamford!!!!!

James was a great sales consultant. He was there to listen to my needs for a vehicle and which model I was leaning towards. He guided me from there with the different vehicles he had available and explained the differences between the options. He was never once pushy or aggressive to make the sale. He worked with me in getting to a bottom line price and trade in. He demonstrated patience as we were going through this process. James should be modeled for his experience within the the Schaller organization. I did have a slight incident with the parts department from a customer service aspect, but Brian Sheppard was there to listen and forward on my issue to the appropriate management.

I would highly recommend Schaller Acura. My situation was that I knew the specific car that I was interested in and Schaller was one of the 3 dealerships that had it. I explained to Jeff that I wasn't particularly close to Schaller so I needed to negotiate over the phone. He was very professional and helpful with this while the other 2 dealers weren't quite as receptive to doing business over the phone. Once we had a deal in place, he and Brian in finance made everything move quickly and I was able to pick up my new car the next day. My experience was primary with Teri Lupacchino but everyone at Schaller was helpful, not salesy and just all around awesome! After months of researching the perfect car for me online I decided on a particular used car. I started actually going to dealerships and test driving the car that at I wanted. I went to at least 5 different dealerships I did not feel like I could trust any of them, they were either too push or they could not tell me any history about the car I was purchasing. One weekend when I was dropping off my sister in college I decided to go find a dealership that was not so close to my home town and that's when I found Schaller on Google. I contacted the dealership and Teri quickly got back to me in order to set up a test drive. I had already decided on the car that I wanted so I was more so looking for a dealership and sales person that I knew I could trust and would take care of me as a customer (especially because I was purchasing used). They made the purchasing process seemliness getting me pre-approved very quickly for a lower interest rate than my personal credit union offered me. And the offered me exactly what my trade was worth on KBB. I knew that they were focused on service and not trying to low ball / nickle and dime me every step of the way. So I purchased the car from them. On top of that after about a month of owning the car I received a check in the mail from Schaller because the accidentally overcharged me for tags for my car. **If that is not an honest dealership I am not sure what is.** I know I am in the right hands shopping at Schaller and I am confident that i will use them again in the future!

this review is for the service department. let me start off with the positive - the work they do is great and i know it will be fixed correct the first time this is why i don't mind sometimes paying their high prices. now for why i'm only giving 2 stars - over the past year i have needed over 3,000$ worth of work for my TL Type s including big jobs like a timing belt/water pump. every time i need to drop my car off there they never have a loaner car. even tho i am spending a lot of money for them i'm always told, "all of our loaner cars are out right now (what type of "luxury" dealer is this)." well once i was stuck there and i got the same story then a few min later they very reluctantly gave me an ILX as a loaner and made the whole situation feel really weird like i was going to steal the car even tho i drive a way better car....go figure. so recently i needed a right tie rod and new sway bar links and an alignment - so i scheduled the service which was about 13 days out because they are very "busy" and that's the earliest they could see me which i was okay with - mind you i was quoted around 600$ for this job which seemed high but i was okay with at this point. however, a few days after my car felt very unsafe to drive and all over the road so i called and asked if i could drop it off and get a loaner - same story "we cant give you a loaner they are all out" then i was told to just go rent a car and drop my car off and they will get to it when they can - at this point i was pretty much fed up and decided to youtube how to replace these part which seemed fairly easy - because they had me pretty heated about the whole thing i wend to NAPA and got both tie rods ends (front and right) and sway bar links for 80$ and 1 hour of my time i had the job done myself - so how was this job 600$ for just the right tie rod end???? also i am getting an alignment at my tire shop for 90$ now - still way cheaper then what they quoted me. i am very disappointed with them at this point and why would i buy my next acura there?? (i am waiting for the next type s) if i cant even get a loaner for service when i am spending good money with them??? Rant over ....moral of the story - do the work yourself and dealers really do overcharge for service - unacceptable in my book.

It was time to let our 2007 MDX with 80K go so I went looking at the new 2016 MDX and was helped by Teri Lupacchino via email at first. I had emailed every Acura dealership in CT but based on Teri's easy going, honest, and straight forward approach I went to Schaller. She is amazing! The customer service was exceptional. I would send her an email and would receive a response faster than a text message (she also texts which was great too). I have been in auto sales in the past and have been the customer so I know how this process should go and the disasters that tend to arise. Teri made this process easy, simple, and exciting. I told her what I needed for my trade, the car, etc and with out bartering back and forth or playing games we just made the deal. First shot nice and easy and a few days later I picked up our new MDX. I strongly recommend Schaller and Teri Lupacchino.

I drove 30 miles from Western Mass to have a B16 service done on my 2010 ZDX, my first experience with this dealership. The previous owner bought the car there and most of the services had been performed at Schaller. I've done oil changes on most of my vehicles but this service called for a differential fluid change too. I was told on the phone about a tire rotation and brake inspection/caliper lubrication that would be done too. Also, I wanted someone to check the suspension so I agreed to make the journey and pay the estimated $300. I was very please with my initial greeting and intake by Joe De La Cruz, Service Writer. He was very friendly with a pleasant way, listened and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and questions. I had a pleasant wait, using there complementary WiFi on my laptop and phone. I was told to expect 2 hrs and that is exactly how long it took. Joe escorted me back to the service area, went over the work, and advised me the charges for the service were much less than what I was originally told. Based on my service history and log book it was unnecessary to perform tire/brake work since that was recently done. It ended up costing less than half of what I was quoted! Being retired, I definitely appreciated that! I want to say thanks to Joe and Kathryn Bordua for treating me with care and friendly professional manner. I will not hesitate about returning to Schaller.

I took my car in for service on the airbag recall. I told Brian Coughlin directly that I only have one key for my car. So he took off the remote hand it to me and told when they're finished he will close the doors with my keys inside. I show up later on that evening open my doors and cannot locate my key it is windy cold outside with no key this is unacceptable this was his idea now am stuck and all they will say is am sorry. I'm so upset i have no way of getting home because I was dropped off by a co-worker thinking all is well.

My second Acura MDX 11 years ago we bought a 2003 MDX from Schaller Acura and after 332000 miles, we decided it was time to buy a new one. So we went back to Schaller Acura and with the help of Jim Merrill we bought a 2014 MDX with 33 miles on it. Jim was great to work with as we went through the options we wanted on the new car and once we got the new car he sat with us in the car for over an hour going over the various radio, navigation, phone and information buttons, pages and settings. Special thanks also to Dave Wiltse, Brian Coughlin and Joe DeLaCruz for 11 years of top notch service and advice on my 2003 MDX, without them I never would have made it to 332000 miles and still counting. Be aware that service is NOT guaranteed in this place! Staff are friendly and nice. But the service is sometimes unsatisfactory, yet worse it is not guaranteed. They resurfaced the rotors to fix brake vibration. It was not fully resolved. They admitted that rotors should be replaced. So the service was unsuccessful. However, they refused to count previous payment toward replacement.

After driving a few other SUVS, I decided to look at the Acura MDX. I found a few MDX's that interested me online and sent several inquiries. Teri was by far the most responsive salesperson I corresponded with and her intimate knowledge of the vehicle line was apparent. In fact - by the time I even got a response from any other salesperson I had already talked to Teri in detail about my options and had an appointment set with her to view several MDX's. When I arrived for our appointment Teri was prepared and had the answers to all my questions. After considering and test driving a few vehicles I was undecided between a new and a near new MDX. My wife and I purchased a 2015 MDX from Schaller Acura on Sunday and picked it up today -- and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This was our first time at Schaller and we were both extremely impressed. by their courtesy, patience, low-key sales approach, honesty and knowledge. First and foremost, Teri Lupacchino was an incredible sales consultant. I have had a lot of cars over the past 15 years and have dealt with at least a dozen salespeople. Several of those were very, very good, but Teri is head and shoulders above them. Teri was extremely smart and efficient, and she knew Acura cars inside and out, but what really stood out about her was her patience and low-pressure sales approach. We arrived about 45 minutes before close (3:00 p.m.) on Sunday; by the time we finished our test drive and sat down with Teri, it was already time for the dealer to close. Nonetheless, and even though it was Teri's official day off, she spent another hour-plus with us -- she answered all of our questions patiently, worked with us fairly to try and make a deal, and even accommodated a few of our odd requests. And when we had closed the deal -- by which time it was at least 4:15 -- I asked to take one look at the MDX before I settled on the specific color. Teri gladly took us through the now-empty showroom to the back lot and found the specific car so that I could be 100% sure of the color. And, unlike a few other salespeople that I have dealt with, Teri was just as patient, friendly and helpful today when we picked up the MDX. Second, Schaller was fair and honest with us, both on the MDX and our trade (a 2009 BMW 335). We had taken our BMW to a few other dealers and were not happy with the price they offered. Schaller, on the other hand, made us a reasonable first offer and, after a very minimal amount of negotiation, gave us a fair price for our trade-in. Finally, and unlike other dealers, Schaller's care and exemplary customer service did not end after we had signed the deal. Our BMW had vanity plates on it and it was registered in my wife's name -- but I was going to own the MDX and wanted to keep the vanity plates. Schaller's finance manager, Brian, loaned us a dealer plate, volunteered to prepare a plate transfer letter for my wife to sign and volunteered to have someone from Schaller take it to the DMV for us -- all that is left for me is to bring the MDX back tomorrow and he'll put the now-transferred vanity plates on the MDX for us. I was stupefied at Brian volunteering to do all of this for me, when he easily could have done nothing, or simply told me what to do at the DMV and left it at that. Instead he went the extra mile.

I stopped by Schaller Acura on a Saturday to look at the new Acura MDX before going to other dealerships to view other cars. I was meet outside by Rob Horton and we sort of hit it off. He was a gentleman and there was no pressure the whole time we went for a test drive and he explained the feature of the MDX. When I left the dealership I told him I would get back to him in a few days(he must have said SURE SURE to himself) I went home and told my wife we are buying this car if the price is right. She gets to pick the color. I called Rob back on Monday and said I am buying this car if we can get together on the price. I told Rob what I want as the end price and after a little back and forth we came to a mutual agreement and the rest is history. He has followed up with me several times this first week to see if I have any question regarding all the gadgets in this car. (I am finding new gadgets almost everyday). It was a pleasure to deal with Schaller Acura. Both Rob and Brian were great.

My wife was recently in a car accident and we went to Schaller Acura looking for a new RDX. I researched the car dealer/salespeople online and found Teri Lupacchino as a highly rated sales person. I submitted a request for a test drive and was happy to see when Teri responded to my request. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership, we were greeted with a friendly smile and handshake. Teri immediately made us feel comfortable. She offered us a beverage/light snack during our discussion both pre/post test drive. She wasn't pushy in her sales pitch. She discussed the automobile with us inside and out. My wife and I left the first day feeling very happy as to the way we were treated during our time at the dealership. We have purchased 7 cars in total prior to this purchase and haven't received the service we received with Teri. We test drove a few other brands of SUV's that day and made an appointment with Teri to look over the RDX again the next day. She answered all questions we had about the vehicle during our second meeting, we discussed pricing, options and discussed the service department. We felt like we had a good feel for the dealership so we decided to purchase the car from Teri. The week leading up to picking up the car, we had a few questions and within 30mins, Teri responded via email regardless of the time. We felt like she was there for us during this process and even after we purchased the car. We had another question and her response time was just as good as prior to us purchasing the car from her. She mentioned we could come back for further tutorial's if need be on the Technology package at any time. This was by far the best dealership experience my wife and I have ever had. Thank you Teri.

I do not write many reviews, but felt like this one was worth writing. I worked with Rob Horton on the potential purchase of a new TL. From the moment we began speaking, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. I never felt any pressure from the beginning to purchase the car immediately, in fact quite the opposite occurred. He was more concerned with ensuring all my questions were answered and that I would be happy with the car, than making the sale. This is a breath of fresh air in the auto industry, where high pressure sales tactics are quite the norm. I left the dealership that day without making the purchase, only to return the next day to show my wife the car. Rob again was more than courteous and never did he make me feel like I was an inconvenience to him, even though he had already spent a significant amount of time with me the day before. I recently leased a 2016 MDX. This is the third Acura I have bought/leased at Schaller. I worked with Teri on all the sales. She is great, knowledge and communicates very well. Most importantly, no pressure. I have looked at other makes of cars/dealerships, and they always try to get the sale before you leave the dealership and then call and email for days following the visit. Not the case here. I usually can't stand the process of buying a new car as I always feel like there is the "big push" to get you to sign. With Mitch at the Acura dealer it was just the opposite, he listened to what we wanted and he never put any pressure on us. We took a test drive and said we were still looking around, Mitch fully understood and there was no pressure to buy that day. Mitch was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and always answered our questions honestly. When we did return, 2 weeks later, to finally buy the vehicle it was a very smooth and painless experience. The paperwork went quickly and the financing was just as easy. We were in and out in no time. He said more than once that "buying the vehicle was just the beginning of our relationship with him" and I look forward to that relationship as we enjoy our new Acura!

We have just purchased our third vehicle from the Schaller dealership family. From the online inquiry to the hand off of the new car keys we've been treated with kindness, respect, and utmost attention to our needs. The quality of the cars (we purchased preowned this time) was high and prices were very competitive. Teri Lupacchino helped us with this purchase. She is a real pro. Teri contacted me within a couple of hours of sending my online inquiry (and I sent my inquiry very early on Sunday morning). We scheduled a test drive for the same day and by the end of the day we narrowed down the model I liked and sealed the deal. My wife was not available to see the car that day and Teri offered that she would drive the car to my wife's work place or our home to have her test drive the car as well. Next day, at 2 p.m. Teri was at our house (which is about an hour away from the dealership) to show the car to my wife and get her comfortable with the purchase. This type of customer service is stellar in my book. Needless to say, we put the deposit down on the car that day and took delivery of the vehicle the following weekend. Brian did an exceptional job with financing are registration. He went out of his way to make sure our old plates are cancelled with DMV and sorted out some address hiccups that appeared in the DMV database at the last minute. Overall, doing business with Schaller dealership family turned out to be a superb car buying experience once again. Thank you Teri and Brian! We loved the experience as much as we love our new car!

They sold me a 90k mile package before I did research on what it consisted of. I was at work and quickly answered yes when asked. After looking into it further, I don't think it was a wise use of my money. I've researched what it entails and the price I was charged was HIGHLY inflated for the value of the service. I have had a huge case of buyers remorse ever since. It's not a pleasant feeling. I really liked their service up to this point. Roger was a wonderful host when I used the shuttle service. However, I'll be looking for another shop to service my Acura. I recommend researching service options before committing to them.

This is for the parts department. I purchased fog lamps and running boards for my mdx a week ago August 9 2019 over 1100 dollars. This week I received a coupon mailer for 10% off parts and accessories. So I called to find out if anything could be done as far as some kind of credit back to me with this mailer.
