Had a great experience at Executive Kia! I had only stopped by to do some quick window shopping on what ended up being my new Subaru, but I was approached by a very professional and non pushy salesman Israel Marquez. He got to know exactly what I was looking for and tailored the process to what I wanted and let me know if we couldn't find something in my wants and needs he'd help me shop around sister dealerships. The entire process was unlike any car buying experience I've had. They gave a fair trade price on my truck, made it extremely comfortable, professional and when I compared prices this was the best deal around. It was Opposite experience of haggling that my girlfriend and I had a few months back at a different dealership on her car. None of the expensive surprise add-ons at contract signing that other dealerships may sneak in. They offer options, but let you decide your comfort level. Will absolutely return for my next car in a few years and would refer a friend. Special shoutout to Israel, he was fun to work with and does his job as a salesman exactly how it should be, got to know me, what I wanted and was confident in what the company had to offer. I've purchased a couple cars from Kia and always recommended everyone to go there. Joe has helped me easily get through every step of the process. The manager, John, will do all he can be ensure you get the best type of financing. I've recently come for an oil change and a leak in my tire. In a hurry for an appointment, Howard worked with me and made sure I was able to return the following morning to finish up and repair my tire. Love them!

Be prepared to start receiving spam from many companies. Executive Kia sells your information to Sirius Radio which will start spamming you with weekly snail mail as well as numerous car loan letters from many different lenders. Extremely disappointed with having to call random companies and tell them to delete my information from their system.

I have struggled with credit issues in the past and continue to work on improving them. The staff at Kia are amazing and always make me feel just as important as the person who may have a better situation than I. I went there with the expectation of selling trading my 2013 Soul with high miles in for another used car, when it was all said and done the team of Joe, Mike and Lou got me in to a 2017 Kia Optima, the car I had been dreaming of getting for years. The process took a while due to my credit issues, but they made it happen and all the while making me feel comfortable. I then met with Todd in the Service Dept who is so knowledgable and gave me some great advice about my new car. I highly recommend anyone with good, bad or slow credit purchase their next car at Executive Kia. Great people, great service and I love my car.

Be careful when talking to certain employees from here. Was told I was approved and to come in to get the vehicle only to be told this was not the case. The one that calls customers should be retrained to provide proper info to not waste potential customers time.

If I could rate them 10 stars I would. My whole car buying experience was fantastic! I was truly disappointed and exhausted after spending several days car shopping with out success. When everybody else failed, this guys made it happen for me, not only did they get me approved under a though credit situation, but they also got me a fantastic deal and a car that I loved. Besides the sales manager and the GM, This has been the longest and worst car buying process I've ever been through. There's just so much run around and lack of communication, everything takes so long. I was leaving for vacation a week and a half after I stopped in Executive Kia for the first time. I was promised a car for over a week, sent over all my information HOURS in advance to be processed, I spent time and money on insurance that I shouldn't have paid now because the car still can't be released A WEEK LATER. I was told I'd be picked up at my office by a runner at 4:00 and at 5:45 I still haven't heard anything back from the salesman. It's been way too much of a pain in the ass. It's now been a week and a half (I leave for vacation in 4 hours), the car hasn't been sent to their detail shop yet, the brakes haven't been done yet, and the car looks like it hasn't even been washed in months. While filling out paperwork they were finishing up all that (which should have been done upon my arrival to finally pick up my car) they were unable to process my DMV registration do to another employee's mistake. So I was given dealer plates for my drive down south for vacation. Just hours upon my arrival back home I was then being bothered by the salesman to return the plates ASAP because they need them for other customers, which I completely understand, but they still didn't have my plates ready. If it wasn't for the sales manager, Joe Ortiz, and the GM, John, I would have never went through with this purchase. For the troubles I went through the GM managed to get me a way better deal on the car than expected. As for Joe, I wish I could have dealt with him from the beginning. I've never seen such kindness and pride in someone before. He always had the right answer and everything was done with a smile. He definitely turned my bad mood the complete other way. Thank you Joe and John.

Scheduled an appointment with the internet manager because I had to drive an hour and was limited on time.... the car had no gas and wasn't ready. Had to wait 20 min in line at bjs to get gas then when I asked to put a deposit on the car because I had to leave they said we will call you first with a an appraisal on your trade and just come back after no worries. After my meeting I called because I did not receive the call as promised....found out they had sold the car out from under me. Within a couple of hours....they should not be trusted

Horrible shopping experience. Can I give 0 stars? I'm in the market for a new or slightly new crossover, stopped in to see what they had available. After explaining that they did business differently and listen to what the customer wanted, I played along. BIG mistake. They chose a car for me, which took over a 1/2 hour, rather than discussing the different options. I took a car for a test drive, liked it, wanted a price. It took them another 20 minutes just to tell me the price of the vehicle out the door. They gave me financing options, that were not accurate, and I didn't even ask for . I was there over 2hours and wasn't able to get the information I wanted. I would have walked out sooner, but I was really interested in the vehicle.

I have to start by saying that both Mike Crespo and Louis Oosten are exceptional at their jobs. I am truly impressed with their level of professionalism and the level of customer service provided since I walked into your dealership. I am use to buying high end vehicles for myself and I have to compare your dealership to that level of service. I am truly impressed that Executive Kia in Wallingford match it. I was a little put off due to an earlier experience at another Kia dealership in the Hartford area. So my impression of that brand was low to begin with. My daughter was looking for vehicle to replace her recently loss of her last one. She was looking at the Optimas and really wanted one. I search the internet and found several cars one was at Kia in Wallingford. Mike was outstanding and was understanding of our needs and her budget. His presentation from the beginning was on point. He was patient and followed up when he stated he will. His constant communication with my daughter about the process was amazing. He kept her in the loop and when it came time for delivery he didn't drop the ball either, it was flawless. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and this young man makes it to the top 2 salesmen in my book. Made me even consider wanting to buy a Kia in the future. Way to go Mike.... let's not forget Lou Oosten, his peoples skills are extraordinary. He made the paperwork process appealing, it is usually the part I dread the most due to the length of time it takes. He has it down to a science and speedy process.

I had a GREAT experience with Executive Kia. From the start everyone was so nice and helpful. I send many emails before I came in and each one was answered promptly. Jermaine was the salesman that helped me and he was extremely nice and patient with me. I only had a certain amount of money and not so good credit and he worked with me and made it happen. I did go to another car place after my first visit here but was so turned off by their service. It just didn't compare. I needed help and Executive Kia did the job. First of all, I really hate car shopping. But we just bought a new Sportage from Executive Kia and couldn't have had a better experience! We originally went to look at a different vehicle, but our salesperson, Marcus, actually listened to what we said we wanted and found us the perfect car that was within our budget. No high-pressure sales, and the prices are set upfront so no need to haggle. I checked Kelley Blue Book, TrueCar and other online listings for comparable vehicles, and the price was very reasonable. Marcus had everything ready when we went to pick up the vehicle, and even got balloons for the kids. All the staff,including in service, parts, etc were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there. Would definitely shop there again.

I was wondering what options there were in new and used vehicles and I was looking around out of curiosity. Mr. Chang assessed my personal needs and requirements in a vehicle. He helped get me into a brand new 2013 Kia Soul... and amazingly enough it's only about $100 more per month for payments/insurance than my old vehicle... a 2007! Between saving on gas and eliminating the need for gas additives... this vehicle is affordable for me! Plus... I have a vehicle that is under warranty now! Thank you Mr. Chang and Executive Kia!

My experience with KIA is exemplary. I have gotten three cars from them, and they have always treatment me well. The mistake was GM financing. Let me explain...GM Financing was not reporting my payments at all. So I went a Hyundai dealer in Milford, where they did solve the reporting problem by getting me in another car (Sonata). All I can say is....I should have sat it out longer and gone back to KIA for the Stinger that I wanted so bad. Anyway, I was having the Sonata serviced there Milford, they were charging me for service s I was not getting , (tire rotation) really don't know what else I didn't get that was charged for. When I as at KIA, really went above and beyond for me, including lower payments. I can't wait to go back there. You guys are awesome!

UPDATE (April 20, 2019): I have downgraded this to two stars because their online service appointment creation tool is absolutely horrible. This is the second time now that I have scheduled a service appointment online where the appointment was never created on your end. I live a decent distance away and this needs to be absolutely resolved. I even receive confirmation emails and text notifications notifying me that my appointment was created even when it was not! I had to call in to check and sure enough they had no record of my appointment request in their system. This absolutely needs to be fixed or removed as an option on your website as it creates a bad experience for customers. The customer service here is absolutely superb. Top notch service and vehicles here!

There are many makes and models of vehicles with tons of options. After some research, I finally decided I wanted a Kia. I visited 4 other dealerships and dealt with high pressure salespeople. No pressure at Executive Kia ! Everyone at the dealership makes you feel like you're part of the family and have been dealing with them for years. The showroom is comfortable and inviting. One person handles your whole car buying experience from beginning to end. You work with someone who knows what you're looking for so you don't have to explain the same thing over and over again when you call. It's been almost two weeks now and I really love my 2017 Kia Forte SL! I love the way it handles! It's got quick pick-up for my highway driving, the gas mileage seems great and the breaking system is awesome! The ride is quiet and comfortable and the visibility is great! I love that there's plenty of trunk storage for my beach chairs, lots of cup holders, cruise control, dual outlets for my cell charger and GPS, arm rest, storage sections, sunglass holder, Bluetooth and back up camera. This is my second car bought from Executive Kia in Wallingford, CT. Both times, my sales consultant was "Chin" Ying Chang. Each time he listened to my financial and car needs. I never felt pressure to buy a car or even a certain car from him. Chin make the car buying experience a very pleasant one! Update. It's been 6 months since I've owned this car, and I still love it!! Update... again...15 months and still loving this car!

Hands down one of the easiest car buying experiences ever. We were looking for a minivan and could not find one we liked or a dealer willing to give a fair deal in our area. We were looking on line and saw a van that we liked. We call and talked to Chin and he told us it was still available. We drove from Springfield Ma. Over an hour away . Chin greeted us in the parking lot with the van ready for us to look at and test drive ,he then explained the no haggling price policy . They had all the dealers in our immediate area beat. Chin and Lou worked with us ,they were more than willing to go to the Mass registry and get the plates . I wanted a factory remote start not and after market We were given a loner car while they were installing it and when it was done Lou brought the van to our house so didn’t have to go all the way back to Ct. . How many dealers would do something like that after the sale. If your in the market for a new car or new to you Exutive Kia Wallingford Ct. is the place to go ,ask for Chin, Both Chin and Lou went above and beyond to give us excellent customer service ,also upon delivery the black shiny metallic waxed car was presented to us with a giant red bow , It’s worth the drive Chin and Lou will take care of you. When we started our search, after totaling our car, we were looking for used. We went to one dealership and were totally ignored, we drove up towards Wallingford area, and stopped here. We started looking around, knowing we either wanted the Sorento or Optima. Chin came out, greeted us, asked us exactly what we were looking for and how we'd be using it. Seeing as how my husband drives from the northeast part of the state to the Stamford area, he right away said Optima is your best bet with gas mileage. We went in thinking we were just going to get a few quotes, hoping we could get into one eventually. I will admit our vehicle search started at another dealership. We were unhappy and on a whim sent our information to Executive and Mike Crespo got our email. When we got to the dealership he and Lou got us moving along in no time. The next day (as we were in late the day before) our deals were done. My husband and I both got cars. Went in originally thinking I just needed air added to my tires because the low pressure light came on and it was cold in the morning. When I got there a service guy named Todd I believe went out to take a look at my car and said the rear tire looked low so he took it in and was examining it. He also offered to do my oil change that I had scheduled for next week while I was there which was pretty awesome that I didn’t have to come back another day. Turns out there was a screw in my tire and I needed a new tire. Todd went out of his way to help me and even worked out the cost to help me financially because I wasn’t expecting to need a new tire. While I waited I also talked to a sales rep. He was nice also but Todd really went above and beyond. His customer service is excellent and he is knowledgeable as well. Definitely should promote him or pay him more or something lol. The other guy I’ve dealt with in service is great too. But honestly way to go Todd. I did my previous lease/ service at executive dodge and the guy there was ehh and I feel like he was deceiving and trying to over charge me just because I’m a girl and don’t know much about cars. The entire team at Executive was friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in the door. I worked with Chin, who wasn't a stereotypical car salesman. He didn't pressure me into making my decision and just laid out all of the numbers for me and talked about my options. When an error was made, it was corrected immediately. When an error was made in our favor, it was honored. Working with Mike Crespo and the sales department was a wonderful experience. We were more than satisfied with the process from beginning to end. His professionalism was second to none. There were mechanical problems noticed before delivery. A promise to fix it was made and honored. He answered all questions about the car in an honest and timely manner. We cannot save enough good things about the sales department; however, I will say they we look forward to working with them in the future should we need another car in the future. The finance department was incredibly wonderful to work with. They took the time to go over the paperwork in detail and took the time to answer and certify every line with us. Called and asked them to schedule me for 30,000 mile scheduled maintenance on my Kia Optima. The service department puts me down for a $500 injection cleaning - totally unnecessary and not part of the recommended maintenance per the manual. This is really the last straw with this place, I'll be driving an extra 15 minutes to East Hartford or Branford next time I need to bring my Kia in to the dealership.

Brought my vehicle in for the same thing at least 9 times. They documented only 4 times. The reason was about blinkers not working and not working properly when on and doors showing open and opening and closing on there own. Their customer service support Trevor Clay made it clear they did not have to recall the vehicle once it is fixed. So after this song and dance went on for some time, I realized as their mechanics told me it is ok, its under warranty. They are going to let me run out this warranty out fixing it every month or two until warranty runs out and then, you guessed it. No I will not. Big time safety issues; now hard pressed to get a recall going with such lazy and neglectful regulations as to what is kept on their books. Just because it did not go up on a lift. This is not about a chip of paint or an engine concern. This I my 3 and 4 year old children's doors as we drive down the road opening or showing they are, concern. I have gotten a lawyer, called the BBB, and the state attorney general office. Perhaps, now it will now become your concern. As of 06/24/18 I want everyone to know how KIA corporate handles safety issues. They DON'T. Corporate will request to "fix it" until warranty runs out. Currently I am requesting 1 million dollar fine against Executive KIA for not accounting for my vehicle coming into the shop for safety repairs and will provide my own data as a record. For Mr. Trevor Clay I will ask for jail time as he personally had the authority to initiate a recall or buy back and stated. "We do not have to recall anything now that it is fixed." After KIAs 9th attempt which has clearly failed.I'm requesting a fine against KIA for no less than 500 million to be awarded to CT Transportation Department. I will request a 900 million dollar fine and a federal investigation as I feel that with such gross lack of accountability that KIA is knowingly trying to hide evidence for the multiple time my vehicle has been in your shop. So I will also request the Judge to have KIA release all records and phone recordings pertaining to any workers who have hand hands on this vehicle. My vehicle has been in the shop I KNOW at minimal 9 times and I'm sure your people don't work for free. At this point if you buy a KIA then your a fool, don't be the sucker who they say is born every minute.

I recently decided to purchase a new Kia Optima, I did my homework and went to four different Kia dealerships. I was all set to buy a new one when I found that Executive Kia had one (exactly what I was looking for) with 3,200 miles on it. I decided that to save some money off of a brand new one I would purchase this one. After negotiating with the sales team I purchased the vehicle. The day before I was to pick up the vehicle the salesman told me they would prep the car, which included a full tank of gas. He then stopped and said "wait this car has 3,000 miles on it so its not new so we won't top off the tank." I told the salesman if I'm spending $30,000 at a dealership the least they can do it top off the gas tank, its not like its a pickup truck. The day I picked up the car just as expected the vehicle had less than a half tank of gas, I should have asked to speak with a manager but I chose not to. The salesman went through all the paperwork and books. I asked about an owner's manual since I only saw a guide that said navigation manual. He informed me the book was both an owner's manual and a guide to the navigation. After getting home I realized he was wrong and no owner's manual was supplied. The next day I spoke with the salesman and informed him of his mistake and asked that an owner's manual be given to me. He said he would check with his manager and later called me back. He said his manager said since the vehicle was not considered new it was "as is" and I was welcome to purchase an owner's manual through their parts department. I was disgusted by this response and made the salesman aware that I was very unhappy with not only the gas situation but the fact that they would not supply an owner's manual after he told me incorrectly that it was in the car. To supply me with a full tank of gas and an owner's manual probably would cost the dealership less than $50.00 but it obvious that they clearly are not about making the customer happy. I informed the salesman that I would review the dealership poorly online and also send a letter to Kia corporate explaining my unhappiness with my experience with Executive Kia. Since I never received any further call back from management or the salesman shows that they could clearly care less. It amazes me that if you purchase a vehicle with 3,000 miles they treat you totally different than if the vehicle was brand new even though I spent $30,000 that day. I will not be dealing with the Executive Kia dealership for any service or repeat purchase situation and will always choose another Kia dealership for anything further that I need.

I purchased my second Kia from Executive Kia... a 2013 Kia Optima EX. First, the experience was painless. In and out in one day. Not happy with my trade-in amount, but then again who is? Otherwise, this was a quick and pleasant journey. Mike P, my sales associate, was awesome. We looked at a few cars before agreeing on the Optima. He was knowledgeable and (even if he faked it) seemed to be on my side with the negotiation process. I am happy with the journey. The car... well, it is awesome. Haven't been in a car in 20 years. I am a truck guy. However, with $4.00 per gallon gas prices and 15 miles per gallon, it was time for a change. The Optima is averaging 30 miles per gallon... and it is super fast. I can see tickets in my future. I have received so many compliments about my car. It looks like a BMW 500 series but cost 1/2 the price. The bottom line: I would buy from Executive Kia again.

As we walked the lot we were not attacked by sales staff. As we entered the show room we met Chin. He answered all of our questions in the show room and on our road test. Typical car sales techniques — used a bait-and-switch on both trade in value and when they presented financing numbers on a vehicle that was not the one that was discussed. Manager Joe talks down to you like you’re stupid and gets easily frustrated if you’re not willing to agree to his terms. Also, they take FOREVER when trying to sell you a vehicle. They say that they don’t haggle, but there was still plenty of “ok let me take this info to my manager” BS. When are car dealerships going to come into this century and empower the sales staff to make decisions, or only have managers sell cars? It’s ridiculous. Salesman Brandon was a good dude, though. He was the reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

The service department employees are wonderful and know what they are talking about and are very good at explaining it to customers, so that we know what is going on. I would not bring either of our vechiles anywhere else.

Salesmen was nice but be very careful with this companies finance department. When I decided to buy a car I asked if they would go through my credit union and was told they have a good relationship with my credit union and would shop around to get me the best rate. With a credit score above 800 with all three reporting agencies they returned with a loan for 5.19% from Bank of America. I also have a credit monitoring service and only received credit check warnings from 4 banks performing a credit check and my credit union was not one of the institutions so they did not even try and lied to my face. I stopped at my local credit union today and will be locking in a 3.19% rate for the same loan term. As soon as Bank of America receives the car title my credit union will process the loan and this will be behind me. It also makes me wonder what other items they were dishonest about that I did not catch. This is my first and last car purchased through Executive.

Let me first state that the salesman James and the process of buying the car was perfect. The day after I bought the car I hit a pothole and blew a tire. UVO towed it to Crowley and I was told yesterday (the day it happened) by executive that I would be able to get a loaner car even though it was at Crowley. Today I called to see if I could get a loaner for tomorrow and I was told no I couldn't. I'm very pissed off that after spending 30k and being told I could get a loaner and then told no when I inquired about it a day later. I felt like I called a Comcast call center and am not happy that I was told one thing and the exact opposite was the reality. Edit: after cooling off and getting accommodated better I am very happy with this dealership. They have let me keep a dealer plate while I get the lien release notice in the mail. I would recommend them to anyone.

I expected the fast talking, high pressure car buying experience... And was so so happy to arrive and get the exact opposite. Usually when I make big purchases (especially cars), I get nervous and worried etc. Not so here! Mike was so pleasant, and EVERYTHING was 100% transparent and above board...
