Brought car in for repair, per manufacturers recall. Was told it was a "sit and wait three hours job" at most. That was nearly a month ago now the silliness with this dealership started. A three hour repair resulted in the dealership breaking the wood dashboard while trying to replace the airbag and then not owning up to their error and trying to strong arm us into taking $100 compensation for the damage they created; of the head of service said it wasn't negotiable. Wow, really? Last I checked there is insurance for such issues and our attorney and BMW corporate in New Jersey concurs. Now the dealership not only has to contend with the truth being known by readers and dozens of people who've witnessed this but I can say with a fact that their frugality and short sighted approach has lost two repair opportunities from neighbors and one sale from a professional colleague. This will continue and anyone who reads this and other reviews will see clearly the dealership is far from trustworthy and professional, this the shining beatitudes showroom to wow you with instead of quality customer service! Rest assured we will NEVER buy from them or suggest anyone do so for stunning reasons and our auto body shop and regular mechanic concur based on their tactics. Clearly if something breaksu and is critical like an air bag this is between the manufacturer and dealership to deal with, not at the cost of the customer and should be resolved between them that way, not at the cost of a customer! In conclusion, don't think about buying here if service matters to you. They are not customer service oriented in the least and I was told "this is not negotiable" from the head of service, per the owner. Pretty sure that says enough about what you're walking into if you dare shop here... Oh, did I mention that they're great at returning your car without the keys, breaching contract by trying to take their loaner "in the dead of night," and parking your damaged car behind other vehicles of yours so you cannot go anywhere for days? Yeah, funny, right? It's called intent to harm and lawyers line up on contingency for this sort of approach, especially when combined with police harassment as that's what the dealership tries to do when you don't accept the repair as complete. More to come I'm sure but as of now the dealership called the police, was forced off our property due to trespassing, and the police won't get involved in a civil matter. BMW Ridgefield actually tried to make it look like we stole their loaner as a means to force us to sign off of the damages they caused to our "three hour repair." Funny thing is, when they were forced off our property they left the car door to the loaner and windows open so check out those photos as I'm sure the rain will soon be an interesting addition to the non-negotiable situation they're in with us. Surely it will wash away this nightmare as logic and reality descends... Lastly, the dealership via Yelp is also asking to all the sudden - no thanks BMW of Ridgefield. I'm going to let other reviewers, the legal system, a jury trial, and my review show the truth about your treatment of customers. Let's see how that route goes and let the rains wash away your unprofessional practices. Hey, don't believe this could possibly happen, go to the Stamford docket and look at the civil calendar to see how BMW of Ridgefield and Bridgeport (same owners) treat their customers. The attached photos will also illicit some nice insights, the offer to pay us to NOT speak on social media via a gag order is hilarious so let's see what a jury says and see how that settles the matters of difference.

Bought a BMW in June of 2015.Ridgefield BMW is quite a place to buy your car..I had a great experience with this dealership starting with the overall appearance of the facility,which is very clean and orderly.My salesman was Bob Mahoney, who I found to be very knowledgeable of BMW.He also came through for me and kept his word on a couple of requests for the car I was buying.On the business end of my experience everything went very smooth and the car looked amazing at the delivery center. I would definitely recommend Ridgefield BMW to anyone I know and would buy from them again.

I love this place (perhaps that's why I got a car there?). Friendly staff, nice interior, and upstanding service. Did I mention the muffins? You can grab a muffin and coffee if you're there for a service appointment. A bit of a drive from Norwalk (20 to 30 min) but very much worth it vs BMW of Darien.

I recently took my 2008 335xi to have a diagnoses read since my car was riding rough. I've been through a lot with this car since purchasing at on auction (live and learn). Marco and the rest of the crew there were not only honest but went out of their way to find a solution to my problem. They were considerate caring and above all HUMAN, which is rare for some current day service establishments. I could not ask more of a dealership. Hands down the best dealership I have ever dealt with- and I have owned 5 cars. Every single person I worked with, from Sales Associate Chris Quaglio to the Sales Manager Jason, were extremely professional and went out of their way to earn my business. Even the guys from the finance department were beyond courteous and professional. All I can say is, coming from a sales background, if someone is calling 26 dealerships when shopping for a car, they could only be a customer from hell. There is nothing anyone can do to make someone that anal happy. 26 dealerships?! That's just crazy. The light in which Jason the manager was described in by the last reviewer is completely the opposite of what I experienced. Even AFTER the sale, Jason spent time with my family and I showing us other BMWs. Never once did he make us feel like we were an imposition. There is always two sides to every story. If you are a normal shopper, and check between 3-4 locations like a NORMAL person, your business will be won by the team at BMW Of Ridgefield. They were consistent from day one.
Very satisfied with my visit last month in the Service Dept. I had my vehicle serviced and dealt with Steve Kazlauskas. He was very professional and kept me in the loop during the vehicle's visit. Seperate from servicing, Steve informed me of a bubble on the inside of a tire, which i greatly appreciate. We replaced the tire as well and his thorough overview of the vehicle was superb. Steve also had my car pulled up when I called in to let him know I was coming. Thanks again. With a previous vehicle, I dealt with Jim Delaney. He is a great as well. Thanks guys.

What can i say in looking at a used vehicle on there lot, they offered me $3000.00 on my trade less than the 3 other dealers i had stopped at previously, Naturally i ended up going back to Saybrook, CT and purchasing the same vehicle with similar milage for $5k less. All the spare parts are expensive compare to other near by BMW dealers, Due to road hazard i have to change one of the Tire when i checked tier price in Ridgefield BMW they are charging 360$ + Tax + Shopping charges, same tire costs in Darien CT BMW $312.80 Including tax this showroom just 25 mils away from Ridgefield. I have checked same tier price multiple showrooms(Darien / Bridgeport) all are charging less then $320 including tax. Service advisor also not friendly.
Unbelievable experience sent in a Ilead and from the start very professional but not aggressive. Jack was awesome very articulate and knowledgeable asked the right questions and put us on the right car. I’m in business while I was given the utmost respect Jack at all time guided us through the process. Melanie was amazing in Finance again not aggressive but informative along the way , very prepared young lady. Tyler was magnificent with educating us on the X3 I think I learned more about any vehicle I have ever driven or sold myself ! Highly recommend this dealership 100% the BEST I’ve ever seen !

I needed my key fob reprogrammed to my vehicle (as the key battery died and was replaced ) to deactivate the immobilizer. They wanted to force gas into the car and didn't understand why the sparkplugs were not sparking (hint: car doesn't know the key). I ordered another key and they still couldn't get immobilizer deactivated. Will never bring my car back there. Tech confirmed that unless the immobilizer was deactivated the car will never start. So why did they want to solve a problem without fixing the first problem? (hint: to charge more money).

I have been to this location numerous times and it’s very disturbing when I hear people complain about their experience. This comes largely into play when people are faced with the price that it will cost to fix their car. I can relate and sympathize to an extent, but at some point, it always comes down to financial ability. We need to get better jobs and/or get our money up if we want to ride BMW or any foreign car at that. Our cars are reflection of ourselves and how we treat them Is not BMW’s fault. After feeling like I was poorly treated at BMW Mt. Kisco, I decided to give Ridgefield a try. My sales rep, Vicente ended up taking extremely good care of me. We diligently customized my 4-series exactly how I wanted it & they even provided me with a loaner car until the car was ready to be picked up. I was so happy with how I was treated during the process & was so in love with the car, we went back a week later and my girlfriend ended up leasing a 3 series.

I have to say after speaking with an visiting a number of other BMW dealers and reading the reviews for Ridgefield that I would have a positive experience. That was not the case. I opened discussions over the phone I asked to speak to a manager in order to understand the price point before coming into the dealer because I already had a price in mind. Jason the manager wouldnt even talk options with me until i gave him all of the details I had on another car I had put on hold at another dealer, including the vin number, dealer location and a sales sheet. I should have taken that as my cue that is wasnt worth my time to continue the conversation, but since I have had such an unbelievable positive experience with the 26 dealers I talked with and the 5 dealers I visited. None were the pushy/forceful dealers I experienced with other types of car dealers. Even your Bridgeport dealer was very pleasant to deal with. So I decided to stop in. When I stopped in I asked for Jason, he greeted me with a little agitation saying that I hadn't said I was stopping in. He invited me into the office and asked again for the vin number of the car I looked at and the sale write-up. He said there was no point in talking further if he didn't get that information. I ask regardless what his best price on the car I was looking at, at Ridgefield. To that he said there was no way to move forward and he wouldn't give me a price and that the conversation was over from there. Feeling bullied and annoyed I just gave him the vin number. Knowing absolutely nothing about me, as he never once asked what I was really looking for in a car or what type of person I was or even what I did for a living, he certainly went out of the way to talk about his past as a fantastic manager in Boston, I was told a number of times by Jason that "You don't want this car" he then went off insulting the 320 series car, and said what type of person would even want a car without power seats, I said apparently some people or they wouldn't make it? He then held himself back only saying "well those are for people who...." I knew where he was going. Knowing my wife didn't want to be in a room with Jason anymore I asked to see the vehicle. Daniel graciously took us on a test drive. Jason never introduced himself to my wife so when Daniel Root introduced himself, Jason introduced me and turned to Lisa and said I never got your name, at this point i understood why she had been so frustrated. We had a pleasant ride with Daniel (who is very pleasant to work with), we returned a little after 6, Jason's car was sitting outside the front door turned on and ready to leave, I could tell wasn't going to take long from here. Daniel walked us into the room and left us again with Jason. I asked what the selling price was he then quoted a higher price than he originally had he said "i could go down more, but i dont have to", at which point I couldn't waste anymore on this. My wife and my frustration with the attitude we were being given.
Went in for an oil change for our current X5, & decided to look at their inventory for a replacement X5. Good service. Bathrooms are NOT kid friendly as our little one needed a diaper change, an there was NO changing Table - Word of advice - many parents drive an X5.

I was on a mission to buy the nicest e39 wagon I could find. After multiple let downs and a few long distance trips, I stumbled upon a very low mileage 2002 525it for sale on the internet at Ridgfield BMW. I am 3 hours away so I called and was put in touch with Eric Georges (internet sales) who kindly took some extra pictures of the car for me and then put me in touch with Jack Polman (sales advisor). My experience with Jack and the team at Ridgefield was extraordinary, he put the car on a lift and took many extra pictures, gave me his personal opinion of the condition of the car which turned out to be spot on. I drove to Ridgefield with hopeful expectations and when I arrived, there it was, just what I was looking for! I took Jack on (most likely) the longest test drive of his career, we then made a deal that included some cosmetic and mechanical work. I was amazed that they were able to complete all of the work that day (which saved me 6 hours of driving) and Jack stayed 3 hours late to make sure everything worked out well. Zach Palmer did the final delivery and knew this 13 year old car inside and out. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

My technician Sean was very knowledgeable and informatve. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in a short amount of time. The facility was amazing and very clean. I highly recommend BMW of Ridgefield.

I did not buy my current BMW from BMW of Ridgefield, so I cannot speak for the sales staff. I have taken my car for scheduled service twice and in both instances I found everyone I encountered to be polite and helpful. They are definitely aspiring to a higher level of service than other dealerships I have dealt with. The simple joy of being able to drive your car into an enclosed area, hand the keys off to someone and then be led inside, with someone holding the door, is a great way to start off your experience. Having purchased my car from the former BMW of Watertown and my service experience there being less than desirable, I would certainly consider BMW of Ridgefield for my next BMW purchase. (As the saying goes, once you drive one, you do not want anything else).
I can never thank BMW and the wonderful service department and the drop off pick up service people enough. What a great car buying experience, I could not be more pleased. From the first point of contact online with Jessica Doling it was smooth sailing. She was extremely pleasant, attentive, and helpful in obtaining any information I requested. I was then connected with Brent D'Arcy which seemed more like I was talking to an old friend than a salesman. Brent was very professional and did everything he could to meet my requests. Azi Parvez in the finance department was great to interact with as well. He was very responsive and available to answer questions. Each member of the staff I encountered was genuine and transparent, which made the process of car buying at BMW of Ridgefield a great experience. I should note that I live in Salt Lake City, so this entire process was taken care of online and over the phone. I was a little concerned about making a long distance purchase originally, but those worries quickly vanished thanks to this great group.

However, I had my first experience with the service department at BMW of Ridgefield today and I felt it was only appropriate that I take this opportunity to applaud Laura Marks for her cordiality and consideration when it came to setting up my appointment and Michael Vincek for ensuring that the work on my car was done to my complete satisfaction and in an extremely timely manner. He really went out of his way to accommodate my needs. Again, credit should be given when credit is due and Laura and Mike should be recognized for their outstanding customer service. I only wish I received the same level of service from the personnel at other dealerships I've dealt with in the past.

I was interested in purchasing my first vehicle last month and I was very fortunate to have Michael Gaudio assist me throughout the entire process. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Extremely unsatisfied. I recently changed from BMW of Bridgeport because I moved closer to the Ridgefield Branch. At first I was surprised how amazing the service was as they texted me updates and picked up my vehical for me. super convenient I didn't have to do a thing. When my car was picked up I asked then to please wash and vacuums the car with BMW of Bridgeport ALWAYS did. Then I get a call that all these services needed to be done. The lady said she was giving me a special discount and recommended I get these things fixed while the discount is available. All sounded extremely pricey. I just got 2 new tires at BMW of Bridgeport about 4 months ago almost 50 dollars less a tire then what BMW of Ridgefield quoted. After she told me there was a special discount? How so even with your special discount the new tired were quoted much higher then my previous dealership. I immediately called BMW of Bridgeport to see the cost if I were to get 2 new tired and alignment. it came in about $400.00 dollars less expensive then Ridgefield. Which is crazy. But to add on to everything. The lady told me it is not safe to wash your car in the winter they will not do it. Which is fine but that doesn't mean you can't vacuum the inside? So bottom line is I will NEVER go back here in my life. Terrible service way more expensive then other BMW in the area. Waste of my time.

Saw the 2015 BMW X1 I wanted online as part of their loaner fleet. I worked with Ramon for a week awaiting the car's return to the dealership. As soon as it was returned I made an appointment to see and test drive the car. It was exactly as described with the features I wanted. Working with Ramon and the both his manager and the financial manager I was able to get a good price on both my trade in and the and the purchase price of my new BMW. I found Ridgefield BMW and Ramon great to work with and would recommend them if you're looking to purchase a BMW.

I recently purchased a new 3 series from BMW of Ridgefield. This was, hands-down, the best experience I've ever had while purchasing a new car. Not only was the entire staff courteous and friendly, but it was also clear to me that they were proud to be a part of this amazing car company. I had the pleasure of working with Client Adviser, Daniel Root. Dan is exactly the type of person you want to purchase your car from. Not only does he have an extraordinary knowledge of the vehicles he sells, but Dan clearly enjoys the fact that he can be the one who puts his customers in to them. Additionally, Dan is someone who goes far beyond the extra mile to ensure his customer's are happy with their purchase, and confident that their decision to purchase a BMW (specifically from BMW of Ridgefield) was the right one. Even after taking delivery, Dan has reached out to make sure that I am completely happy with the car and that I do not have any unanswered questions. I have yet to have my service done at BMW of Ridgefield, simply because I haven't reached the scheduled interval yet, but while I was waiting to take delivery on my new car I had the opportunity to meet one of their techs and talk BMW for about 20 minutes. I brought in my 2001 540 to find out what was wrong with it. The service department took the extra time to diagnose all of the problems with my old car for a low fee. They were very accommodating and fair. Their facility is beautiful and state of the art. Thank you Steve and the service manager (cant remember his name).
Needed a small part today. Everyone from the person I met in the parking lot to the parts department were very aware of my walking in and attentive to my needs. A very pleasant experience. ( the part in question was $3.17)

I was racially profiled and discriminated in this office. I am a black woman who was treated horribly. I was refused purchase of a vehicle because I said I wanted to report the incident to channel 12 news. I was in tears....I will be seeking litigation as BMW already has a history and legal lawsuit siting racial discrimination.
Due to a young inexperienced mechanic my car has had repetitive internal mechanical issues, this dealership has thee worst service I have ever experienced I will stick with a real bmw dealership such as westchester or Manhattan As compensation the dealership gave me a gift card to have my car detailed which to me is the most insulting thing, I hope someone reads this and has there vehicle serviced somewhere else, my problems began in August, and an actual bmw specialist explained the problems internally with my engine ironically parts that had been installed by “bmw specialist”

He was extremely courteous and pleasant, and interested in making my experience there a positive one even though I was only there to purchase a used car I saw on-line for under $7k. Upon pick-up my car was detailed nicely, small imperfections were fixed and as promised, a questionable looking hose was replaced. He gave me a great deal, handled all of my paperwork, and followed up with me several times in the future weeks to make sure I was satisfied with my car and my experience. After a bad experience with the BMW extended test drive event from BMW corporate and this dealership, I was asked to give them another chance. I always allow a vendor the opportunity to make up for a mistake... that was my mistake. I went there to buy a Z4 for my wife and the numbers were wrong, The salesman wouldn't stop calling my cell phone and even texting me while at work in a meeting. Instead of re-looking at the numbers I gave him from another dealership, he accused me of being a liar. Not only did I buy the Z4 form BMW of North Haven, I also picked up an i3 (the electric one). Sal at BMW of North Haven was amazing, no pressure sales, extremely professional and overly accommodating.
I have had pretty bad luck with pretty amazing cars, and despite my luck, they have consistently been there to help me through it. I have never been to a dealership that large that takes the time to make you feel like you are pretty dad gummed important.

This dealership has a reputation for being rude and discriminatory. I experienced it first hand. The dealership is very disorganized, I was told three different prices when I brought in my X3 for a wheel repair. From the time I called service on the phone, spoke to a service team member in person and then went upstairs to get my service order from an advisor - the price tripled. I don't know what kind of scam Ridgefield BMW is running, but you are better off traveling and using BMW of Greenwich, White Plains, Manhattan or Rallye. The service advisor was rude to me, acted like he didn't have time to assist me, I was told by another staff member that the particular service advisor is often rude to "Hispanics." Shame on Ridgefield BMW!
I recently purchased a 7 series at this dealership, and I have to comment on the professional and exceptional service I received here. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. For comparisons sake, last year, I purchased a different vehicle at a different high end car brand, and I must say, I did not receive half the respect I received here. The salesman I worked with, Shane, the finance advisor Melanie, and the finance director, Azi, were all very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Will hope to do business again for my next BMW.
When I leased my car, all happy faces and promised. After i got the deal, no loaners for service. No response to my emails. Anyways 1 more year and you can take it back

Unfortunately for my net worth, my Beemer has been serviced at 5 Dealers in the Tri-State area, as I moved around. Tenafly NJ, Ramsay NJ, Greenwich, Bridgeport and lastly Ridgefield. There's a reason why dealerships in general have been referred to as: (Stealerships). Ridgefield took care of my car, until I caught them recommending a part replacement which wasn't needed at all! Forensic Auto Repairs. I took my car to an Independent garage in North Stamford, and a simple adjustment of one of the cars' computers, was done and successful, mind you without a charge. I get to spend the $850 saved on a new car next year. (Or the next BMW repair) The Independent shop is M&J Automotive,Stamford. Speak with Patrick.
Service people are rude and arrogant. Don't go there unless you have to. The place is new and modern so its a pleasant place to be. I get my car serviced there when I have to because it is close but when I was buying the car they wouldn't come anywhere near the prices that dealers in New Jersey offered.
With the exception of the receptionists, the employees are rude and lie to your face.
BMW of Ridgefield is amazing to work with and always has been. We drive all the way up from NC to work with Bob Mahoney and the other wonderful staff members at the dealership and have always had the best experience and exceptional customer service. The car buying process can be very stressful but Bob goes above and beyond to make sure the sales process is a smooth and seamless as possible. We have now purchased BMW's as well as other brand cars through The Lot and have had wonderful experiences with both. We will only buy our cars through BMW of Ridgefield and cannot say enough great things about the staff and dealership!
Sales person went to manager for best price they could offer on a certain car for my wife and came back with $100 higher than the List Price.
I recently brought my car in for a oil change and a free inspection. Not sure what the inspection was called on the coupon I received. I must say I have never seen service like this. Within a few hours I had a text and email about everything that was going on with my car. They actually sent me a walk through video showing me all the problems. When I say all the problems they were not many. I knew most of them. I'm a visual person and I need to see the problem and the video spoke a thousand words. I definitely recommend bmw of ridgefield for work on your bmw. Not to mention they clean your car and wash it also.
Top Notch! First experience with BMW service and wasn't disappointed. Will perform some noted repairs myself as that is what I do, and can do. But I was impressed with professional and proficient encounter. Also sat down with sales to discuss possible purchase. Will update review later based upon total experience.
I recently bought a used car from BMW of Ridgefield and all the help I received from each member of its team was of the utmost quality. Brent D'Arcy, the main person who helped me through the process of buying the car was not only helpful but very supportive. He was there to answer my calls and questions throughout the day, even during the weekend. The car was delivered in mint condition, clean and the tank full for my ride home. During the process of financing the car, each member from BMW Ridgefield was able to help me. The finance department was able to get me an incredible rate on my loan. Additionally, they go through eat part of the contract to make sure I understood everything about the car and the package I signed up for. The dealership is kept in pristine condition with free snacks and drinks as well as a happy staff. I highly recommend purchasing a car from this dealership.

The sales are nice, the service department ordered a part for my Bmw 740 since July 2015 and I haven't heard anything about it ever since.

About a month ago, I bought my new (used) car from an extremely friendly and knowledgeable, along with patient salesman, Brent. Two days later, going on vacation out of state, someone hits me and takes out my front end. I was in a different state and not only did BMW of Ridgefield keep in contact with me throughout the process of getting my car back, but once it was back in NY, Joe, Peter and Brent kept me informed of where my car was and what was going on with it. If ever you wanted to feel as though you mattered and you were a complete priority, I would suggest getting your new or used BMW from here.

They are the service of one of the most prestigious cars around the world, so I was expecting a better, high level service and customer experience. Today I brought my car to a 3rd time service which I had scheduled a week ago asking a loaner. They approved loaner and changed my date to get a loaner. When I arrived there they said they do not have a loaner and will rent a car from a rent a car company I needed to accept because I need to commute to work. For rental operation I needed to go to Hertz which costed me an 1hr. And I got a different brand sedan which I did not like at all. Moreover in both services before this one they did not wash and clean my car, I picked it up all dirty. Their customer service was not friendly at all. Only kind person there was my service technician. After all these negativities I won’t be bringing my car to there. Try another one...

This was not an easy transaction, but the TEAM was in problem.solving mode ...I Love this BMW....Well, we really do not love things do we..Love People and God..Oh and the girls at the front desk, I think we brightened each others day whenever I came through the doors to the Showroom...The snacks and Coffee were healthy and outstanding...No one goes hungry here...and The Service people also get an honorable mention..Best detailing job ever.

Excellent from beginning to end Marco my advisor got everything done including my rear brakes under warranty, the detailing was beyond excellent, I literally passed my car thinking it was a new one! And the loaner I received was exactly as requested! The dealership is far better then any other neighboring dealerships within 35 miles

They don’t want your business, unless you buying a high end car. I went in to the dealer, we looked at a few work trucks. I was interested in two of them. I’m a contractor/ owner and we spent a lot of time at looking at vehicles I didn’t have time to go in and sit down. I gave him my card and told him let me know what the prices were and I would come back in on a better day. I did not get a call, so I called back two times left two different messages and the salesman never called me back.
