Planet Honda does not do the four square sales approach the price they give you is the best price they can do on the vehicle. Their financing office is phenomenal. Came in for a Friends for Life oil change and tire rotation. Needed to make an appointment as their volume of care does not allow a client to just show up for oil change service. The appointment was handled promptly and courteously. I had received an e-mail prior to the appointment notifying me of the service. There were no issues that concerned me.

A few days later we went pick out our car. They did not have the color we wanted however Barbara said not to worry. My experience here was amazing! Definitely no pressure sales. I had looked at several other dealerships to find the right car. As soon as I stepped into this place and was greeted by a salesperson, I felt like I was among friends. Neil Goodson was very friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. I enjoyed working with him. On my second visit back I ended up with a different salesperson, Michael David, because Neil was busy. Michael was great and provided good info and feedback to help in the decision making process. The finance associate, Art, who handled the purchase was also very helpful. He explained many of the service/product package add-ons and pricing options in detail, so I could figure out which ones made sense to me. I decided to get the Honda Fit EX, which I am very happy with. When in Eco Mode, I have been getting about 4 mpg over the EPA highway estimate, even when I am driving a mix of City & Highway. I would highly recommend this dealership!

My mother and I went to Planet Honda to find her a “rest of my life” car. She had been saying for weeks she wanted to find a car that would probably be the last one she will buy. I still don’t believe her. She met alone with Sarah Trujillo who showed her a couple of options and even helped her to be able to take the car for an overnight test drive. Sarah was off the next day but Barbara Proctor took over and was able to help my mom make a final decision on a car she loved. Once our decision was Made Arthur Michalak took over for us. Art took us into his office and made us feel very at home. I am an only child and am moving out of the country soon, so it is very important to me that my mother be taken care of. Emergancy car situation. I went to Planet Honda and Spoke with Mr Michiel Bauk. First day i was just out looking snd Mr. Bauk totally understood and was not pushy to buy. A couple days later i went back and bought a Civic . I asked for Mr Bauk. He brought my APR down from an estimated 11% to a 6%. Signing was easy and fun with Mr Arthuer Michalak Great since of humer. Experience was easy, quick, and had no issues. Brought my car in for a safety recall. First, I was able to schedule my appointment using the VIN making it so easy and no question what the issue was. Dropped off my car on time and was asked if I needed any other assistance so I checked on something else while there. I was given clear expectations of cost and time with no question. Offered shuttle ride home too, but I didn't need it. I will definitely return.

Let me start by saying I bought a used car at Planet Honda. The overall buying experience was good, but I have mixed feelings about the “Negotiation Free” pricing scheme they have. It seems like an excuse for the dealer to sell the car at a higher price and tell you straight up no when you try to work it down to something reasonable. I understand dealers need to make a profit, but when the “negotiation free” price is significantly above the kbb, nada, edmunds median price and they won’t budge... it’s enough to make you walk away, which I initially did until I saw the price come down enough. Regardless of the pricing scheme, I felt very comfortable with the salesman, Kyle. He was the brightest spot of the process and he seemed interested in selling me the car I wanted versus up-selling. The salespeople also apparently work on salary and I never felt like I was wasting anyone’s time by buying a used car. That was refreshing after having negative experiences at other dealerships in town. Finally, the reason I gave this dealership five stars was the support I received after the sale. About a day after I drove it home I started noticing a wobbling sound at certain speeds. I immediately sent Kyle an email asking if I could bring it back and they could take a look at it, and he nicely said of course. So I took it back and they confirmed what I was hearing to be an issue with a tire(s). They agreed to replace the tires on the car without any extra charge. Now... some would say the dealership shouldn’t sell a car with faulty tires to begin with, but you could also say I should’ve noticed a problem during the test drive and before I signed an “as-is” agreement. Fortunately, they were very kind to make the situation right and were very understanding about the whole thing. That’s what gained my respect and is why I am giving 5 stars.

Where to start on this review as this is a review that has taken a while to do as there have been a few issues. Firstly, the location of the dealership is convenient to the freeway, easy to get to, and it's hassle free buying experience is true. We organized with Chris to come in at a certain time and take a look at a car, it was ready to go and he let us take it for a test drive. We were happy so we went ahead and did all the paperwork and drive away with our pre owned 2011 mini Cooper within about 2 hours of arriving. The problem started the next day when we went to drive the vehicle and the was a puddle of oil under the car. I called and Chris asked me to bring the car back in. They offer a 5 day, 250 mile money back guarantee for any reason if your not satisfied. I was told the issue was a seal wasn't replaced properly on the vehicle and that it was all fixed. This was incorrect. In fact, the car needed to have the oil filter housing replaced as well as the oil pan gasket which I found out when I took the car into mini to have it looked at. After speaking with the dealership, the agreed to fix the issues. Instead of sending the car to mini they chose to send it local to someone who did a patch job and said they didn't see a problem with the oil filter housing gasket. Not only was this not replaced but both sets of brakes need replacing as well as the rotors. I was assured the issue with the oil was just a seal the day after I purchased this car, it is now a $2000 fix. This was meant to be an additional car for winter which is now a money pit. I don't believe Chris knew of these issues but if I had of been told on the day that I brought the car back in of these issues that a mechanic should have picked up, I would have asked for my money back, now I'm stuck with a lemon. We understand the car had some miles on it, it wasn't new and it was older however, the car did have one owner and a full service history. My advice is, if you buy a used car here without it being a certified vehicle, take it straight to a mechanic and spend the money on an inspection and find out what you have really bought otherwise you might be up for some pretty hefty repairs. Very disappointed in this dealership. UPDATE: Since I can't reply to response from owner - they sent the car off to a mechanic who said they replaced the oil pan gasket, which has not been fixed. They fixed the other issues out of good faith but only because they couldn't get the engine light be to switched off. They wouldn't provide me with the information on who fixed this car and I believe since they spent a lot of money on getting it fixed it should have been done right and that mechanic should not be used again as they didn't fix the issues of the oil leak which I had originally taken the car back for. The day after purchase. If they had of made me aware when I took it back of these issues, I would have returned the car. I'm out of pocket $3500 right now on repairs for something that I wouldn't have had to worry about if I wasn't given the wrong information. If you buy a used car from this dealership - spend the money to get someone to look at it within the 5 day 250 mile return policy and if you want to return it don't take no for an answer.

I took my car in to get the recalls fixed, it was fast and hassle less. But the only thing I have noticed is that my car dies out drains the battery ever since I took it to get the recalls done. I have changed the Battery, changed the alternator, and still doesnt stay charged. My charging system has been affected. And I've noticed this happened ever since I took it here. So as of today I am reviewing it with 1 star.

Plus, I like the bargaining part of buying a car but the service I got from Jesse was great. I didn't end up buying but it was a fair price after doing some researching. I was there for the airbag recall. Each and every person that I encountered was very kind, down-to-earth and professional. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. I have never written a negative review in my life, but my experience at Planet Honda was such that I feel compelled to warn future customers. My car had a known AC compressor failure, and I was quoted an outrageous cost, over double the industry standard ($2400 vs $900). I then called Planet Honda’s own parts department, which told me the list prices for the parts. When comparing this to the itemized quote from my technician, the parts were egregiously upscaled. I approached my technician about this, who immediately brought the cost down by about $500, stating “that’s strange, I’m not sure how that happened.” Even after this, the quote was incredibly high. There’s no way I would pay such an unreasonable cost for this job, so I picked up my car. They even left trash in the front seat, which I needed to pick up myself. In my opinion, Planet Honda is taking advantage of trusting individuals who are vulnerable in their car situations. I will be replacing my AC compressor on my own, for about $400. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, and I hope this post saves somebody else from being ripped off.

I’ve been to a few Honda dealerships in the last 10 years and this place is one of the worst. I ordered parts for my Civic (which they said they had in stock when I ordered them) only to wait 3 weeks for them to come in. I normally wouldn’t be mad about this because I understand that things take time, but they never called after weeks and I had to call them not only once, but 3 times to get the parts on my car that I had already paid for just to know if they had finally come in. When they finally got the parts for my car, I had to wait for over 2 hours , with an appointment mind you, for them to finally get the parts on. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

1. I arrived at 11:02 for an appointment. I was asked by the attendant to stand by my car and that someone would be out to help me. I waited until 11:21. Someone came and asked “ What are you here for?” I said “an oil change and to have my radio looked at”. He said “have you had it serviced here before?” I said “yes, I bought it here and have had it serviced here.” He asked what’s wrong with the radio. I described it. He said “Honda doesn’t have a fix for that yet”. I was surprised. 2. I brought up again that I was told on the phone that they would run diagnostics on the radio. After telling me again that “they didn’t have a fix for it”. I said well they said to bring it in and they’d take a look at it “. I felt like he was hoping I would drop it. 3. In the office area. He asked me “do you have a ride?” I said “ no I had brought stuff to do.” He shook his head no and counted on his fingers and said it probably won’t be done until 5:30.” I said “oh the last time the oil change only took about an hour. He said “we have to also do a rear differential service and a recall fix and with the radio it’ll be 4-5 hours. They should have told you that on the phone.” I said “they didn’t.” 4. He said “all you will be charged for will be the rear differential service.” I said I thought by buying the extended warranty and service package it was all covered.” He said “ no” and told me what was covered. I said okay but I told him I was going up to the warranty sales office and have them review for me what I had purchased and I did. 5. I explained my frustration and surprises to a person in the warranty office. I said “ without trying to put words in the original warranty sales persons mouth, I thought he said “by purchasing the additional warranty and service packages I would be able to bring the car in for service and drive it out with no fees barring something out of the ordinary for the next 3 to 5 years or so.” I did not know things like rear differential service would be considered out of normal service and that I would be charged. Surprised! In conclusion: 1. I felt like I was being manipulated to drop the request for radio diagnostics. 2. I realize a lot of information is given to the person buying a car. However I do believe I heard nothing about the service fees for things like “rear differential service” and other service fees that are waiting for me in the future. I spent over $3000 for the additional coverage. At this point I felt taken. Although I’m sure I got a fair warranty and service contract in the auto industry, I felt taken by not knowing enough about service coverages. I hate SURPRISES! 3. If someone had been observing and listening to my interchange with the service department representative I think they would conclude that my treatment was cold, indifferent even dissed ( i.e. the radio), almost contrary and close to combative. No smile. Not welcoming. No familiarity. Nothing that would make me want to return except for the fact I bought my car there.

We purchased 2008 Honda Pilot that came with 5 days or 250 miles warranty. We were told that their used car go through rigorous inspection and go through repair process to fix issues/concerns. Drove home and parked the car in the garage. Next day noticed the leak under the car from multiple areas. After multiple attempts I was asked to drive to the dealer and finally agreed to provide full refund. Dealer offered us other car and I agreed to purchase Used Toyota Prius. I was waiting their to get the paperwork for more than an hour. Finally started the paperwork but finance guy tells us- we have to buy as is without 5 days or 250 miles warranty since we returned the Honda Pilot. We had to return the car due to oil leak that was caused by dealer so why we would get punishment? We heard good things about the dealer and went for shopping but our first experience was bad and not different than average dealer.

I had to lease a car from Planet Honda because mine was totaled. When I first bought the first month, Michael D. was amazing. When I found out how much the insurance was, I had to take it back. I was out of town for my graduation. I brought it back, it took almost 10 full minutes for them to find my name and have someone come talk to me about their 5 day 250 mile money back guarantee. Chad, the Sales Manager, was very rude when he informed me that they could not take the car back because it had been over five says. I got it the 15th at 9:42, got back in town Sunday morning and had to wait until I got off work Monday night. They are not open Sundays and no one told me this. They were very rude and did not handle things like they could have. Very dissapointed, would give no stars if so could.

I went in to get a recall on my airbag and claim a warranty on a tire that should have been accepted in any Honda dealership. First they told me there was nothing wrong with my tire. I asked them to check again and they said yes there was. They had no idea about the Honda wide warranty. Then they told me that they never received the fax from the another dealership about the warranty. I tried again to get this issue resolved and couldn’t get I’m done in a timely matter. I had to drive an hour away to get it done.

Planet Honda replaced my recalled passenger airbag but they failed to supply the rental car or even a curtesy ride. The associate told me it’s only an hour but he failed to realize the effort to get there and wasted time sitting in lobby. Honda recall specifically says “ Free rental cars are available to the vehicle owner for the day of the recall repair, or longer of replacement part is temporarily unavailable.” Very interesting that a Honda dealership takes advantage of a persons safety like this. No sane person will say no and leave the dealership without a new airbag when their life is in danger with it in. Thanks, Honda.

I’m still in shock. We came in to test drive a CR-V on a Sat. afternoon. The place was a little crowded, and all of the sales people were busy, so we got stuck with Ed, who was manning the front desk. I made it clear we were just test driving today, and Ed, staring at my clipboard, soured on us quickly. To paraphrase Mr. Ed, ‘I’ve been doing this for 30 years....when I see people come in with a clipboard and a stack of papers, I don’t think they’re worth my time’. Planet Honda have twice offered me a loaner over the phone when I have brought my vehicle in for airbag recall issues, and subsequently denied me the loaner when I arrived at the dealership. If loaners aren't permitted for a specific repair, they should not be offered over the phone. I planned my day based on being able to run errands while the repair was being conducted and the dealership didn't follow through with the commitment made when the appointment was scheduled.

Made appointment for service at 10am and never heard back with diagnosis. I had to call three times and was always told that only the service rep who checked me in could give me an update. At 5pm I finally get a call back saying they would get started on the repairs that night and they had the part in stock. Was told about 10 or 11 next day it would be ready. I was dropped off at 11 and told the rep I would be waiting. He said it should be done soon. Never got any updates and waiting until 2pm when once again I had to go ask the rep what was the delay. His excuse was they had to order the part from another store but they just delivered it and now it won’t be done until 4pm. Terrible communication and customer service.
