Long story short....my wife and I were heading to Cleveland, OH when I got a flat tire near some construction on I-440 at Fourche Dam Pike. My tires had about 54k miles on them already and I knew I was getting close to needing them replaced. I had my Sorento towed to Steve Landers Kia since they had the best reviews on Yelp of the 2 Kia dealers in the area. And I'll say, I'm glad I did! The service was spot on, Enid and Stacey were great and very helpful! Ended up taking about 3-3 1/2 hours total to get 4 new tires but we were back on the road in no time! Thanks again to everyone at Steve Landers Kia for the help! I might never see them again but if I'm in the area and need something for my Sorento, I'll definitely swing by!!

This is a long review and I will give the reason why they only will get one star. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to purchase a car. First off my salesperson was pushing! He rushed me thru paperwork so I didn't get to properly feel out my paperwork that was sent to the bank. Also i had a crack window. Which they replaced after the second time of coming up there. And lastly my car has a recall on it. I was not aware of this when purchasing this car and when I called the sales manager to ask why I wasnt told this car was on recall he said because I bought it from the Kia dealership and I bought a Ford they don't have to keep up with the recall vehicles! Which is completely false and also i am suppose to know about any recall per the Ford dealership!! Most unprofessional car lot I have ever been to! Would not recommend them to anyone!!

These people had a power outage on the day of my service which is absolutely not their fault. I reached their location and I was told they had no power and I will be contacted as soon as the power gets back and they took my name and number on a piece of paper cause they didn’t have their system working as well. After 3 days, although the power got back the next day, I didn’t get a call for rescheduling and when I called, I was asked to get a new appointment 2 weeks later. This shows how pathetic their customer service is and so I suppose they don’t really care about their customer’s car either. I can’t say anything about how their servicing is but I would be scared to go here again if I had to.

Bought two vehicles here within a 3 month period. After the first one, a Certified Preowned 2016 Sorento, had the transmission go out while on vacation they said they would let us trade it in and work with us to make it right. Now I have a new 2017 Sorento (that I love) but my payments are way more and during the process of getting it, which took days- signed papers on a Friday and didn’t get the vehicle until Monday at 8:30 pm, the salesman straight up lied to me and then one manager “forgot” about several things they promised us, and another manager didn’t act like he cared at all- like he was irritated that I called. If I’m paying you our hard earned money I expect to be treated with respect, to be told the truth, and for you to hold up your end of the deal. Not hear BS excuses and lies. I will never buy another vehicle from these people again, I’ll take my business and money somewhere else. The whole experience was such a disappointment!! I hate that we gave them our business. We have bought many vehicles from several different dealerships over the years and this one is by far the worst!

I have purchased a vehicle and walked away from purchasing another , the first they were suppose to pay half if sales tax ,they financed them in ,which is not what I wanted ,and the sales person doesn't work there any more. On the 2nd deal I was looking at a used lexus with scatches all over it for 30,000 a new sales person was helping then Bart took over he was a liar because was told the price was 30,000 then he tells me the price is 34000. This was by far the worst experience ever I went to another dealership and got a better deal

I’m sure they’re great people as others have had great experiences and everyone I met was very friendly. I’m just kinda disappointed as I ended up leaving due to getting what seemed some really weird pricing (salesperson attempted to hide the fact that they were rolling the entire remaining balance of my trade in into the payments on the new car without giving me anything for the value of the vehicle. Standard dealer trick, but if you stall long enough they’ll usually come off it, my salesperson didn’t.) Nonetheless, my salesperson was very cordial and professional and didn’t apply any extra pressure, thus the neutral rating. EDIT: I’m upgrading my rating for the ‘second chance’ offer they made in trying to correct the less than ideal experience I originally had. I think maybe someone was just having a rough day/week (/month/year?) I think this is a great dealership (even the salesperson I had), very efficient, good selection, but just like with any place, pay attention when making a large purchase.

I emailed this dealership because I was interested in trading my truck for one of theirs. I had some concerns about a recall where the steering would go out for a second due to a software resetting malfunction and this is the email I received on it. The recall has not beeen completed. They are not something that come up in our shop. It is just a simple task of taking it to a chevy dealer and they can complete at not cost to you. My manager is very interested in your 2015 Toyota Tundra. When might be a good time for you to come in? Holly Dunn Internet Manager Steve Landers Kia Shortly afterwords they ask for my phone number and Daven Washington calls me. He asks what needs to be done and I express my concern again about driving a vehicle with the steering recall. He goes on to tell me that they are not legally able to sell a vehicle with the recalls not corrected. Which is interesting according to one person there the recalls had not been taken care of and a few reviews down another customer was actually sold (according to her review anyways) a vehicle with recalls. Seems fishy..... Before I gave them my phone number I Kelley blue booked mine and their's vehicles. I used the same option of "very good" when asked the conditions of the vehicles. Both vehicles appraised for around 26.5k. Within 30 seconds of being on the phone with Mr Daven, he started trying to devalue the value of my truck by making pot shots "what's wrong with it, why are you trying to get rid of it". I guess there has to be something wrong with a vehicle for you to want to drive something else? I inform him I'm not interested in traveling to another state only to lowballed on the trade in value of my vehicle and this is when I inform him that I did Kelley blue book value both vehicles and that mine appraised for 26.5k. Without hesitation he again started to try devalue my vehicle again by telling me that I couldn't use the very good option on the condition of Kelley blue book (keep in mind he hasn't even seen anything about my vehicle at this point so how can he tell me what condition my vehicle is or isn't in (never mind the fact that I gave them the same option of very good while getting their vehicle valued)). Furthermore, I pointed out that both vehicles were valued the same and they wanted 30k still for theirs and he goes on to say that they have to bring their vehicles in etc and give the power train warranty etc. Don't get me wrong business is business, they are there to make money and that is it. We all however know that by the time we get out of there they have done added at least another 2000$. At this point I was still interested in the deal but I had decided that I was not going to be making this deal through Mr Daven. I still wanted to see what they would offer me for my vehicle so I texted him a pic of my vehicle as well as the VIN. He ended up lowballing me like I figured he would by offering me 20.5k. I guess my vehicle (2015) depreciates but theirs (2014) doesn't? I'm nitpicking here but I think this is important enough to say because if you are going to be professional at your job, if your job requires texting a customer you should take the time to be professional while texting as well. Texting him was like texting your 80 year old grandmother where you have to guess what she is asking. He asked things like "what's this rick on carfax" (rick being wreck I figured out) and "seen pic of truck"(seen was supposed to be send). Yes I understand this is a tad petty but when you are trying to attempt to make 30 thousand dollar deals, could you at least try and form a sentence? When I have to try and guess what you are saying.... that's a problem. I've been in hospitality for around a decade and I have had to deal with a lot of people being ridiculous and honestly, I hate to be that guy who gives bad reviews. However Mr Daven's sales tactics left much to be desired. I strongly recommend retraining him or it's time for a career change.

Drove out from Memphis for a preowned Jeep, was very happy with my interaction with Todd Childress, as the test drive and purchase process were both low pressure, friendly, and efficient. I'm giving only 4 starts because the Jeep had very low psi in one tire which I pointed out thinking they could patch or plug it before I purchased it, they said they inspected it and there wasn't a puncture, long story short I had to get the tire plugged later in the week as it again had very low air pressure. Also, while I didn't notice this until later on, the antenna mast was missing, kind of a bummer on a one year old car, but I purchased a new one, and finally, when I took the check in to the county clerk's office we discovered it was about $75 short of what was owed, I just paid this as it was probably just a calculation error, but these three unexpected expenses were kind of a let down after a great in person experience.

The Kia dealership in Sherwood was fully booked, so I looked to Landers to take care of my 2nd oil change on my Soul. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes, which isn't terrible when it comes to dealership service. My service advisor was nice enough, thankfully, especially compared to the other Kia dealership service department. However, when I stopped to inspect the work done (take a look at the oil level, make sure it is clear to see if they actually changed the oil, etc) I saw oil all over the oil fill cap, and all over the plastic cover to the engine. If I wanted burning oil scent to be coming from my car, I would go drive my old car that has 195,000 miles on it. I don't expect that from my new car. After getting home, I discovered a decent amount of oil covering the plastic shield under the engine, and the oil filter was completely soaked as well. So some oil was spilled you say? No big deal? What that shows is a lack of attention to detail, or their service technicians are overworked/overloaded. That means if you're having something important done (even an oil change is important, such as double-threading the oil filter, or not removing the old oil filter's seal in case it stuck to the engine) then something could be overlooked, resulting in component failure when you're on a long trip, or worse... Once again, the service advisor was nice enough, but it's obvious that the technicians either don't have an attention to detail, or are being overworked. I gave Landers a chance on the service of my new Kia Soul, but I think I should have gone elsewhere.

I am not happy with the service at Steve Landers. The two salesman that sold me a car told me that my tags was included come to find out they was not. When I ask the two salesman was the tags included and they said yes. If i would have known the tags was not included I wouldn't have not purchased the car. Also the salesman ask have I received my tags in the mail yet and I said no. I was pushed under the bus by two salesman that sold me a car and I am not happy at all I will be calling seven on your side. Also I have proof of them telling me my tags are included and now they telling me I have to pay for my tags. If I would have known that I had to pay $1500 for some tags I wouldn't have purchased the car. The car is just sitting in the yard I can't drive it and i paid my car note before time.I could have took my 2500 elsewhere they also said I will get a rebate check they took it and put it towards the car

I was directed to Steve Landers Kia from a buddy of mine who is in the car business stating they had a great reputation and pride themselves on satisfying a customer. I worked with Steve Goines and Heath on a 2018 preowned Sorento. When it was delivered to my house there were some flaws with the vehicle and I just wasn’t entirely happy with my purchase. When I contacted them they wanted to “make it right.” They offered me a great deal on a new 2019 Sorento and sent their driver, Roy Vega, back to Jefferson City, Missouri to swap out my vehicles the next day. These guys were great to work with and my wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service these guys provided. Great team!

There was a misunderstanding. I never did business with them before. I was asking for car repair services. I was sent to parts to order the parts. I wasn't told their return policy. When they called and told me parts were in I asked service department whether the price told me was the total for the job because this is what I was told before I ordered. He said job one price and parts another. Since I couldn't afford that then I would come get my money back for parts because they couldn't put it back on credit card because my company had changed credit card. So when I get there I had to wait awhile for someone to come up. At first the guy said that I couldn't get my money back because they didn't refund on return. After further discussion and explaining what he had written on the wall about 10% off return fee. He agreed to that finally but I had to wait on a check in the mail. I lost $35. There was no apology.

My 2015 Kia was in the shop for almost two months getting an engine replacement. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed my license plate was broken. They replaced that, but when I got home I noticed a lot more damage. Someone had hit something in my car. I called several times and went up there to be turned away due to no appointment. I finally get to talk to someone and I am told that now too much tome has passed and they will not fix my car. The front bumper is torn and the headlights misaligned. I will not be back and I will be contacting Kia directly.

This Kia dealership loaned us a ride while doing warranty work that took forever to get to, same as the time before. Told us that there was nothing wrong, then said oh a few scratches but I’ll show you. Then did not do a walk around. When we return it. They informed my husband there is scratches. Made him make insurance claim to leave. Was said would be $500 paid $250. The manager said there was no scratches when we had received it. If there was, would have took it out of rotation and fixed it. ... when hubby called on way home I heard and said that’s not right. I call and talk. Explain yes was told was scratches but did not do a walk around to show them. He says he would talk to the lady that gave us the car. ... he called back said yes, she says scratches was there but not all of them so we are responsible for the others. I explain your story is changing. No scratches. Wouldn’t even loan out if was. Yes but not all of them. That doesn’t sound right. If had done the walk around we would all know. He informed me at that time the walk round is on us not them. He even pointed out to hubby looks like it had been worked on before. ... which would not have been us. Insurance says “no walk around?” I said no. “Then there’s no proof so no claim” We have contacted Kia motors they escalated case 2 times. Says agrees with us but hands are tied it is not owned by them. The dealership says will never loan a vehicle to us again. Also will not return the $250. Also says their insurance will deal with ours will not speak to us again. Please y’all beaware. This could be happening over and over by them not doing a walk around. So when they say say all is good. Verify and sign off on it. It saddens me this has happened but could happen to others too.

Took my,18 year old, daughter's vehicle for servicing after filling up at Shell @ 8003 White Hall Rd. When they ran the diagnostic report, they found it had literally almost no fuel content, only ethanol, high alcohol and other debris! They gave me a loaner and made me feel better that it was caught BEFORE it could have blown her engine block. Well I got a good deal on a car I love. That's about it. Customer care is minimal. I wouldn't refer friends or family unless you are very careful. I had to keep my eyes open and really pay attention to make sure my numbers were correct (which they werent) and the car was as it should be (which it wasn't). On day of pick up I asked to have the car ready to go as to save time. Well it wasn't, they hadn't even put it through for a detail. So at 7pm when I rolled out of the parking lot it was dark. Next day I noticed the Tint was missing in a spot off my back window where the sales guy tried to peel the sales sticker off with a razor blade. I know this cause he walked through as I was waiting with the blade saying he was trying to get the sticker off. I sent a picture text to a sales manager and have still heard nothing back. Just a poor way to do business. Now I wonder what else they did or didn't do. I have a call in to find out if they even serviced it. I own a business so take great pride in quality work with customer satisfaction as number one.

I was recently involved in an auto accident that totaled out my car. I was NOT looking forward to starting over with a car payment...until I contacted Demetrius Williams. He understood the importance of my needing a vehicle. He worked with me and was able to get me in a car in record time! We started on a Monday evening and was ready to roll a few days later....all around my work schedule. He sent me a message on Thursday afternoon saying, "I was gonna have it delivered to you". I can't speak to the sales experience but the service side of the dealership is very good. I took my son's recently purchased used Soul in there for it's first oil change and they took care of multiple recall items while we were there. They also did a complete check and gave it a clean bill of health. The facilities are clean but spare which is to be expected I suppose since Kia is generally viewed as a down market brand but everyone there was very friendly and professional.

The salesman who sold my aunt her car lied to her and cared only about his commission. My Aunt is elderly and on a fixed income. When she told him the date she could afford to start making payments ( approximately 5 weeks from the date she was purchasing her car. ) he assured her REPEATEDLY that the date she gave him was acceptable and would be the date her payments would start. They started holding the payments out ta month prior to the agreed upon date. Now she is harrassed daily by phone and is having to pay interest and paperwork fees which are incredibly high each month in order to catch up on a payment she shouldn't be behind on. They refuse to honor the agreement their salesman made and he will not talk to my aunt when she calls.
