I contacted the dealership via AutoTrader about one specific pre-owned vehicle. I immediately received an email from Kareem. By the time we could speak on the phone about the vehicle, it was already sold. Kareem took a few minutes to find out what my need was and suggested something that would fit my needs and I actually liked it better. It had just been traded-in and wasn't listed on the web yet. I gave him a deposit until I could get by to look at it in person. I drove six hours from Alabama to look at it. When we arrived to test drive it, I was pleasantly surprised. It was everything that Kareem said that it was. I decided it was what I wanted and bought it. I then drove six hours back to Alabama. Thanks to Kareem and the whole crew for the wonderful experience. They offer you the opportunity to buy parts and I am having difficulty locating the part....I was basically told I should have bought my car there. I will never do business here and thanks to the other VW dealership across the river....I was treated nice and received the help I needed. I am so upset and angry with this dealership. I recently purchased a Grand Jeep Cherokee through this dealership. I was LIED TO AND THE GENERAL MANAGER OVER THE DEALERSHIP CALLED ME A DUMB WOMAN. There were so many wrong doings with this company. We first started off with RAY who was very informative of the Jeep and said he just got his wife one. Which I'm sure was a selling tactic, he then hands us over to Michael VICKERS who didn't seem like he knew much of the jeeps but was kind. He let us know that he sold "RangeRovers" i guess to hint that he didn't know about Jeeps. Upon hours of debating and working with the salesmen we came to some "agreements" i asked for the Jeep emblem on the back to be replaced the middle console tray and mats for my jeep not to mention my Bluetooth DID NOT WORK which i found out about after purchasing. No parts were ordered and I'm out of 150 for a diagnostic on a Jeep that i don't have. NO ONE CHECKED MY BLUETOOTH TO SEE THAT IT WORKED!!!! They never checked to see if it worked and we were there til closing so they were rushing to get us out of the dealership. Never got anything from the Owens Murphy. I scheduled a appointment to Steve Landers and they treated me better even knowing i didn't get the jeep from them. Steve Landers did a diagnostic on my jeep and said it would be 1500 to fix the Bluetooth and i had to pay 150 for the diagnostic. Ray basically said there was nothing he could do. We get back to tje dealership, DUSTIN HIMSELF GOES OUT TO TRY AND HOOK HIS PHONE TO THE BLUETOOTH AND CAME BANK IN TO TELL RAMIN HE WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. We told Ray that Steve Landers found a system issue and the Bluetooth system needed to be fixed. Ray and Michael inadvertently blamed each other for certain things and told my fiance and i two different stories the entire time of purchasing. My fiance and I got tired of the lies and decided we wanted to bring the Jeep back in return get my Camry back. Ray and Michael disappeared and we delt with RAMIN DAVARI the general manager who got upset because i didn't understand the information he was telling me and instead of coming straight out and tell me yes or no he can or can't deliver. I told him to stop beating around the bush and he said he wasn't beating around the bush and called me a dumb woman. We asked for his statements in writing which he was very hesitant to do and never gave us anything in writing. My fiance and i were disgusted and upset. My fiance and i were told to get out by DUSTIN DYER one of the sales managers and i asked him if he supported what his manager said about me and he had no response. Ramin follows us outside apologizing for calling me dumb and I asked him if I disrespected him and he said yes because i told him to stop beating around the bush. Dustin helped us get the things out of the jeep and gave me the keys to my Camry and asked for the keys to the jeep. He took off my plates and gave them to my fiance. I'm not telling people to buy or not buy, but know who you are dealing with. My co worker then stated her friend bought a Jaguar and an Adui from them and had a similar experience with issues with their Audi vehicle and they returned both vehicles. Needless to say, i got nothing absolutely nothing but a repugnant experience from the employees RAMIN, MICHAEL, AND RAY. Owen Murphy this is who represents you. I'll be taking my business to Steve Landers and getting my Jeep there.

My car is a little over a year old. Soon after purchasing the car after turning the air on I found it didn’t work. It was in the shop for several weeks at that time. It now has been in the shop for over three weeks on three different occasions for a different problem, rear window randomly rolls down. I’ve driven home in the rain with the window down with kids in the car and dogs in the car too many times to count now. Even drive home from Tulsa with windows down for two hours. Picked up car last week and was told it should be fixed again but that I would also be charged for a full detail on loaner car because I had dogs in the car. The very next morning the car window rolls down on the freeway again. Had two managers call me Friday stating they would get back with with today and haven’t heard from either and it’s 6:30pm. I even called to leave them a message, again giving them the benefit of the doubt. And yes I drove to work again this morning with window down on the freeway with passengers in the car. I’ve really tried to be patient.

The service department at this location is mismanaged. I brought my certified preowned beetle in for a minor repair. My ownership of the vehicle was just under a week. The first problem I encountered was that I made an appointment for 2:30pm and the service clerk told me that it could take 2-12 hours for them to just diagnose the issue. Hey we made an appointment. Why so long? We agreed to wait. The next issue was that my certified preowned car wasn’t listed as a CPO in their computer. So they wrote me up a $450 estimate for diagnosis of the problem. They could have handled that better by asking probing questions to try and determine why I thought the car was under warranty. Instead they presumed that the VW dealer that sold me the car was lying. When we were discussing the situation the clerk stated that we were looking for a free lunch but my wife reminded him quickly that we were looking for VW to honor the warranty. To make a long story short it ended up being a clerical error. The car was under warranty but since it had been almost a week the finances were not completed on all ends. I was told to wait 48 hours to let the financing continue to be processed. However the customer experience could have been better. Owens Murphy could have assumed that their partner (the other VW dealer) was not lying, they could have assumed that I was not looking for a free lunch, they could have assumed good intentions. However they decided to do everything they could to get me out the door. They acted unconcerned and bothered. They made multiple mentions on how I was free to go and deal with the other VW dealership. They advised me that the other dealer could be lying. They didn’t act like a good ambassador of the brand. I will never be back in any capacity. I can find another service center and car dealer for my future needs. I have called Volkswagen of America to lodge a complaint. I will tell everyone I know and social media to go elsewhere for their business. If I was you I would go elsewhere. You deserve better.

However, my purchase of the Atlas was great but the fact that I had to bring it in to be serviced after only having it for 2 months is not what I wanted to do. There is a problem with the bearing of the struts and the part is back ordered for a year. This is really disappointing.

They did right by us - twice :-0 Check engine light popped on and had we not just bought two vehicles without an add on warranty would have just had our mechanic fix it ($400 repair quote). Talked to their customer service and they took care of it for us!! Praise! They even found out the air dam was missing & threw one in for good measure. Wow. That was above & beyond service & we would have never known...it wasn't part of the check engine light issue repair. Turned out to be a clogged hose & they replaced it for free. Highly recommend & referring David Arnold to family needing a replacement vehicle.

I'm new to Little Rock and needed to have my 2012 Jetta's oil changed. From the minute I pulled up I was greeted and given premium service by the friendliest folks around. Big shout out to Taylor for being so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. She's the best of the best. I received same day service, in and out in a jiffy and at a very reasonable price. They have complimentary coffee, variety of cold drinks and cookies. The waiting room is sparkling clean with very comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. The checkout process is quick and efficient and they were detailed in explaining the work completed. They did a fabulous job in the complimentary wash and vacuum. I live in Texas, but might really make the trip up here next time I am set to purchase a vehicle. I'm staying in Hot Springs for a few months, and got to the point where my huge truck was too much. So, I traded it for a Fiat at this dealership. I was driving back to my park when the vehicle started losing oil. I was horrified. I was 30 minutes from the dealership. I was actually very angry, and I called them up and let them know it. This dealership sent a tow truck immediately to get the car and get it back to them. Assessing the problem was their first priority for the next morning. Quickly, they found out that the problem was a defective seal on the oil filter. Not only did they fix it, but they detailed the entire car, top to bottom, front to back. Then, to make sure I wouldn't worry, they added in an extended warranty, at no charge to me, that will cover the engine up to 100,000 miles and 6 years (whichever comes first), giving me confidence in this vehicle again. Finally, they finished the interaction by delivering the vehicle to me 30 miles away. I was very angry to buy a car and have it break on the way home, but the effort they made to make me happy renewed my faith. They could not have handled me and my situation any better.

Great place to buy a new Jag, but not the one to buy a used Volkswagen. I purchased a pre-owned VW and have been trying since March -- it's July 12 -- to get a second key for my car. I drove twice from Benton to Little Rock by appointment to get my electronic key and spoke to the sales manager two weeks ago. He said he'd take care of it and call me back. I've heard nothing and am still waiting on my key.

I went into Owens Murphy Volkswagen with the intention to buy a 2015 GTI. I was quickly paired with a sale associate who was extremely friendly. I was interested in a stick shift but had not driven one in over eight years. I was a little rusty on the test drive but the associate was very friendly and in the end I purchased the vehicle. I did not have to do any negotiating yet still feel like I got the deal I went in to get. Overall a fantastic experience. Dealership lacks customer service. Does not follow-up with customers. 5 plus hours for an oil change. Did not put plug in correctly resulting in oil in garage and damage to baseboards. Service did not return calls timely or at all... and refused to refund any of the almost $100 oil change despite the extra trips to the dealership and having to leave work to get car towed and having oil in garage cleaned. Avoid this dealership! Two land rovers and two Volkswagens serviced here through the years. Poor customer service is their standard. Has been for years.

We are 10+ year customers of Everett GMC. When we recently purchased our VW Atlas, there was a bit of concern about having to deal with another service department knowing how spoiled I felt with Everett’s service department (frequent courtesy car usage, the amount of service reps to help you, their availability of appointments during the week). I can tell you, though, that any hesitations I may have had were quickly resolved in February when an airbag light came on the dash of my new Atlas. Taylor was our representive in the service department at Owens-Murphy and she was a true delight to work with. Very pleasant attitude and I felt like she went above the call to make sure I was taken care of that day. She seems to be one who never meets a stranger! I've been to Owens Murphy many times, the most recent was for mechanical diagnosis for possible engine issues. I was given a service date and they let me bring the car in and leave it early until they could get to it. I was given a ride back to my home by an outstandingly fine young man. (Thanks Zack, best of luck to ya and enjoyed the ride.) They were able to get my car in earlier than expexted and promptly called me back. Upon completion of service requested, some further concerns came to my mind so I made a return call to Taylor in service (who was very professional, courteous, & diligent). This was close to 5 or 6 in the evening so I asked if I could come back first thing in the morning. Prior to my return and after further consideration I had decideded not to pursue any further issues or complaints with my vehicle. It was obvious my car, my thoughts and co cerns were important to the crew and integrity of the people at Owens Murphy. I always felt as though I could walk away from the offer, but I also felt that I was getting an honest offer from both of them, which is why my wife and I purchased a vehicle. I called around for an issue I was having with my Jetta GLI. There was an EPC light and the check engine light was flashing at start up. The first shop I spoke to didn't sound very interested in discussing the issue I was having and the history behind my car. The second shop hung up on me mid sentence because he was receiving another call. I then called Owens Murphy Volkswagen and spoke with Taylor. She was very receptive and took the time to listen to my issue and concerns. She mentioned that she's seen similar things happen a lot on Jettas and was able to give me a rough estimate but explained that a diagnostic would be best to determine the issue and that cost goes toward a repair. She scheduled a time for me to come in and though they didn't have loaners available at the time a shuttle would be available to take me to work and pick me up from work if needed. The is a loaner option but they were booked for a few weeks. The drop off process was very quick and easy. Bob is a great shuttle driver. Very friendly and arrives on time. If you have the option to take the shuttle don't pass on the offer. Bob will get you where you need to go quickly and safely. Taylor updated me as soon as the diagnosis was completed and relayed any questions I had to her technicians. A few hours later my car was done and the check engine light plus the EPC light has not shown since. I had a similar service done by a different shop a year ago and they said the check engine light would always show because of the modifications on my car but Owens Murphy Volkswagen was able to resolve that. I also purchased the Volkswagen Fuel Additive and it's the best one I've used so far. My car idles low and the engine runs smoother through accelerations. Overall I had an amazing experience at Owens Murphy Volkswagen. Taylor definitely knows her stuff and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Service after the sale exists here. I have contacted the salesman that sold me my vehicle twice and he has responded both times without delay. This dealership has a generally knowledgeable and friendly staff, a beautiful facility, and outstanding product selection. If they don't have it in stock, they will get it for you. The service department was extremely accommodating. I was offered free shuttle service twice as well as soft-bake cookies and beverages. One of the personnel even showed me around the dealership's original VW bus. This dealership is also an APR installer. So, you can get real performance parts installed on select vehicles. Cons: The haggling was an annoyance and the dealership tried too hard to upsell the extended warranty and gap coverage that I refused from the start. Both of these cons were no worse than other dealerships I have dealt with, but could be improved. Conclusion: If you want the absolute best price and are willing to sacrifice good customer service to get it, go elsewhere. Otherwise, this is the dealership for you.

Beware- I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY BILL OF SALE SO RETHINK YOUR PURCHASE!!! I flew in to Arkansas from Dallas because the rapport that I built with my salesperson was awesome! The vehicle that I wanted at the price that I wanted was not available in Dallas (should have waited more patiently until the right price came available). Needless to say, I was informed that all sales tax would be paid by the dealership and guess what? Not only did they lie and NOT pay the sales tax but I've requested my Bill of Sale 3 times and have YET to receive it. On the day that I flew in to make purchase both sales person and credit manager agreed that tax would be paid! I should have known it was something to it because during the document signing the credit manager told me that there would be a packet mailed to me with the bill of sale in it and it would show taxes paid so that I can take it to DMV to register vehicle. The salesperson then gave me an envelope when I was leaving to drive the vehicle back to TX and said, "this is the stuff you need to register the vehicle". To my surprise when I had taken the truck to DMV with the mailed packet that was sent to me including the packet received from salesperson and there was no bill of sale included. I called the credit manager and his exact words were, ""Oh, the HR person must've forgot to send them and that he would overnight them on 5/25 and I have yet to receive them! I texted the salesperson and asked him to overnight my bill of sale on 4/29 and he texted me to set up a call. This is real people...sad to say but some sales people are really wolves in sheep clothing! I also shared the text message along with this posting... I will be sharing this review with Range Rover as well!. What type of dealership with holds an honest hard working purchaser's bill of sale? One thing is for sure is I am so glad that I can treat people fair because at the end of the day I like to rest at night knowing that I did my part in respecting others and having an honest word.

I bought a ford f150 from them on 10/10/2018. They said all it needs is a o2 sensor so we went ahead and bought it thinking thats all it needed. We replaced the o2 sensor thinking it would be fixed. But no, that didn't fix it. My husband drove it one week and its been sitting in my drive since. It is making a loud noise like something is knocking in the engine. Come to find out it has a rod knocking now we are right back where we started.. Without a vehicle. When we called and told them about it all they said was " I'm sorry ". I have been conducting business with the dealership for years. I recently went in for a service and when I picked my car up, I paid the amount I was told I owed and left. The truck ran fine and I moved on. I received a call a few weeks later stating that they mistakenly charged me the wrong amount and that I owed and additional $658. I was extremely shocked and felt like that was not my error and I should not be penalized for it. To be told and charged one price and then 3 weeks later called and told that I need to pay double is extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy. I felt like that was poor customer service and the dealership should have given some sort of courtesy for the extreme financial inconvenience and unprofessionalism. I would be very leary with this dealership and its financial practices. I will be asking them to re-check and double check from now on.

WARNING: Most of these reviews are from first time reviewers. Meaning they are either fake or otherwise compelled, hired, or compensated by Owens Murphy to write a positive review. This is called Astroturfing your reviews, and is a clear sign of a business with a serious customer service problem that they are trying to cover up. Review: Absolute worst service. Not sure how they manage to sell cars here. Six calls and nobody ever answers the phone. Calls never returned. Apathetic and absent salesmen. The only thing they excel at is making excuses. Day 1: I went to look at an Evoque they had just got in. Salesman said he couldn't help me with it and I couldn't look at it because it hadn't been cleaned up. Fine. I left my number and asked to call me when it was ready. Day 2: No call. Day 3: No call. So I decide to go back to the lot and asked the receptionist for assistance. After waiting at the front desk for 10 minutes, a salesman finally came, then disappeared for another 10 minutes, leaving us standing there. I had to find another salesman to help us, or at least update us on what's going on. Not sure what they were doing. The place wasn't busy at all. Finally get a chance to drive the car, and eventually decided to buy it. So I try calling Michael Vickers...no answer. I try calling their main phone number...voicemail. I try calling service...voicemail. I try parts...voicemail. I made 6 calls to their main phone number over 20 minutes and cannot get anyone to answer. Again, we had just left and the place wasn't busy. And this is during normal business hours. After calling Michael again, he finally answers, only to put me on hold. When he returns, he is dismissive and apathetic. I was treated like my business wasn't important enough for them. We were ready to buy, but the lack of communication, apathetic sales staff, and overall poor customer service has forced me to take my business elsewhere. In hindsight, I think they may have done me a favor. How would I get my car serviced in the future if no one answers the phone? Owens Murphy: They don't answer the phone, they don't help customers, and I'm pretty sure they pay for fake positive reviews. Look at how many of their 5 star reviews are from new "1 review" accounts. Save yourself the hassle and shop anywhere else.

This was an amazing experience!! My first visit was in 2015 and I can’t remember the visit too well. But Loran made such a great impression, I didn’t mind doing this review! She got me checked-in in a timely manner, she was able to squeeze me in to get my car fixed on a Saturday (and it started snowing that day) and I received my car in such great shape and it was washed and vacuumed. My review is based on an online shopping experience. I was shopping from out of state and saw something that really caught my eye. I had been looking already for a couple weeks and the amount of dealers who are unable to deal with online/out of state shoppers in 2019 is staggering. I had a pretty low bar, figuring it takes about six e-mails back and forth to get most of the information I need. Well, I reached out and received a response on the availability extremely quickly. I sent over my laundry list of questions and I received another lightning quick response from David Arnold in sales. He provided an answer to every question, copies of their inspection results, and a copy of the AutoCheck. Boom, everything I needed in one response. Fast, informative, and professional. How refreshing is that? I was blown away. We spoke on the phone about a few other details and he was exremely helpful. All the preliminary work on a deal was done in hours rather than days. I couldn't recommend the dealer, and David in particular, any higher. I would have zero hesitation shopping with them again. Easily the most straightforward experience I have had with a dealer in many years.
