The McLarty Nissan team helped me out of an embarrassing situation. My son was out of time and I needed to move his Altima. His fob battery was dead, so I unlocked his door with the fob key and absentmindedly inserted the key in the fob port to start it. Wrong! The key got stuck in the port, therefore I couldn’t use the fob to start the car. To make a long story short, when I finally got the car to the dealership, the folks in the service department in a matter of minutes had the key removed and had me headed back home with no charge ( except the reasonable cost to replace the dead god battery). Good friendly people truly dedicated to serving their customers.

So overall the experience of buying a new car from them was good. The dealer that sold us the car was actually very nice and did his best to help us even managing to get us to the monthly payment we wanted. The problem we ran into was the guy that was having us sign the papers was really trying to sell us on things we did not want and was a little hateful. It was a little uncomfortable since he did not want to accept no as an answer. The situation left a sour taste in my mouth.

Im not sure. I feel that the dealership goes above and beyond call of service. I guess it's just the quality of car, maybe, that is subpar. At 30,000 miles, my car is on its 2nd transmission and had MULTIPLE issues that have yet to be diagnosed correctly or fixed. But I DO love the service and people and professionalism always found at McClarty Nissan, so far. Keep up the great work.

McLarty Nissan in NLR in the Service Dept: my service agent was Brian Wainwright. He did a super phenomenal job. Extremely courteous, personalized my service and made sure that I wasn’t just “another vehicle needing repairs”. Brian made sure that he knew and understand my reason for coming and followed up within a respectable amount of time. I was unavailable and he left a voice message. But that wasn’t enough for Brian....he called back again just to make sure that I heard his message. Checked on me to see if I needed a ride for pickup or if there was any other way that he could assist me. I, then came in and brought in a second vehicle and swapped out me 1st vehicle upon completion of repairs. Brian handled that with superb service as well. I hopes that Brian will be around a great length of time because his quality of service to the customer speaks volumes of his undeniably awesome character traits. Don’t buy their extended warranty! Big ripoff! Bought a new car in 2014. Car is still under warranty and the check engine light is on. Took it in and they want $130. to just diagnose the problem and then they will tell us if it’s covered or not. We also bought a truck from them a couple of years ago. Today I dropped my car off for 30,000 mile service and received an inspection, oil change, tire rotation, and engine filter replacement. The rest of the 30,000 mile was not done. Instead I have to go back up there and have the rest of my 30,000 mile done at a later time. Additionally, there was grease stains all over my cream colored interior. On a good note, the people are always friendly. Today must have been an off day.

This is my first time owning a Nissan. All my other cars have been Honda’s in the past. The poor service I have received from the service department has made me not like Nissan. Since I bought my car I have visited the service department two times in North Little Rock. The first time I visit I asked them how come the service light does not come on when maintenance is due and was told that they turn them all off on the cars and only turn them on when requested. This information was not disclosed to me when buying the car. My passenger window was having an issue. Each time the window is rolled down it leaves two noticeable marks on the window. I asked for the issue to be fixed. The issue was not fixed and now the driver side window makes a horrible squeaking sound. I called back the next day and the rep was unapologetic and told me basically bring the car back in. Im a nurse I don’t have much time to sit in a service department waiting area for 3 hours again for an issue that should of been fixed the 1st 3 hours I waited. Now this past Thursday I called to setup an appointment for an oil change. Still have not seen a service light turn on although I requested it to be turned on. I was told they don’t make appointment for oil change just to come in for express service. I get to Nissan at 3:45pm I’m told I have a recall on my car and it will take an hour to do. I say ok go ahead and do the recall, oil change and rotate tires. Mind you I was NEVER sent any information on a recall. I am told my car is ready at 5:55pm. The rep tells me oh I’m sorry the tech did not see the 2nd page of your order and the recall was completed. So I waited a little over 2 hours on an oil change and tire rotation and again! All I get is a sorry and we can reschedule u for the recall! I am doing research on a new car and plan to trade in my Nissan in Dec to go back to Honda.

They kept my car overnight, didn’t return my calls until the next day and didn’t locate the key fob despite the fact that I authorized them to charge me for 2 hours of service to remove the seats. Nissan is completely irresponsible in accepting responsibility for their faulty airbags. They have known issues that Nissan has been aware of for at least 10 years yet there is no fix and cost the owner more than $2000 dollars for an issue they are not at fault for.

Was up for the marathon and the transmission went out on the way back to the hotel. I had my vehicle towed to the dealer on Sunday evening when they was close. Monday morning I went to the dealer to explain what had happened. They had me a new transmission in my vehicle ready to go back home by Tuesday afternoon. We were told that there was only one person working that day to change oil and rotate tires, so the wait was extremely long, and the techs were trying to work on too many tickets at once, therefore increasing the wait time for all! Since only one person was available to test drive my car, the vibration could not be addressed! My buying and service experience with NLR McLarty has been below standard because McLarty does not hire people who know how to do their job like a professional! My car still vibrates!

I purchased a car last month. I have not received my paperwork, to get the tags for my vehicle. I called the dealership 14 times and have only been able to leave voicemails. Before purchase they run up to you and so attentive. After purchase and commissions are paid. They don’t give a damn about you. My drive out tag will be up in 3 days. And all of a sudden everyone is either too busy or not at the office all together. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase anything with McLarty Nissan of N. Little Rock.

My daughter dropped my car off for service before going on vacation in 2 days. She was shuttled to work and picked up when the work was finished. When I got the invoice it said the battery was bad and needed replaced and was under warranty. So why not just replace the battery while the car is there? I had an oil change and detail. I should state both were free thanks to mcclarty Nissan which came in the form of a door prize at a golf tournament last year at Maumelle Country Club. Sadly the work looked like it was free. None of the fluids we're topped off air filter not checked on the outside change side. Detail just as lackluster. Tires shining but wheels not. The paint on my car isn't perfect but didn't look any better. I thought the engine compartment might be part of the advertised 400.00 dollar value of the gift but no. Sorry to complain about free work. I would have been very unhappy if I had paid. No apparent pride in their work.

Very nice service advisor. Nice service waiting area with drinks/snacks. The wait time was longer than I have ever had to wait though! I used to bring my husband's Titan for oil change/tire rotation & be out in 30-45 minutes. My oil change/tire rotation was almost 2 hrs. The last time did ,however, include a recall fix on my back doors & was about 2 1/2 hrs. They definitely do show more concern than ORR Nissan of Searcy had in my past experiences. thanks

Our sales person, Will, was great. He was very easy to talk to. I felt no pressure from him throughout the sale. He spoke with us on a personal level about things he related to about us such our daughter and his daughter. The process was fairly smooth. Will even followed up with us later in the week regarding us getting a second key. When I returned to get a key made, the service manager was very accommodating despite them being busy and close to closing time. I got taken care of quickly which was great since I had my four month old daughter with me. I will say the only thing I did not like about the experience was the process with the finance manager. It was coming up on closing time the day we made our purchase and he seemed to be in a bit of a hurry to have us out of there. Despite him saying it was for our sake, I had a feeling it was for his. I didn’t even have my full signature on one spot before he had pulled that page from me and laid down another. He also kept making negative comments about how long I’d had my previous car and the condition it was in. His overall demeanor was sort of off putting, almost enough to make me change my mind about the vehicle. Otherwise, I love my new Rogue and I would refer others to Will and the service department there due to my experiences with them.

Check engine light came on while driving to work. Drove straight to dealership. They quickly accessed the problem. Took me to my office. The repair ended up taking more than a day. They picked me up returned me to the dealership where I picked up the loaner car. Very apologetic about the inconvenience. They are very professional and considerate of your time.
