This was if there can ever be such a thing a pleasant car buying experience. Whitney was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her Finance guy gave me the exactly what I asked for it was 90% done by the time I walked into the place via text and email.I didn't have to haggle when I went in. They got me the vehicle I asked for even though it wasn't on their lot. the final signing of the papers went ad smoothly as it's ever gone in a car purchase experience for me. WhileI would never recommend someone by a car I would definitely recommend if you have to go through it use McLarty Honda those are the highest quality people I've ever encountered in a car buying experience.

Me and and my husband were looking at some options and Jonathan Frazier helped us. We had great experience, he and everyone at the dealership were very nice, so the experience was stress free...which is rare when looking for a car. He was not trying to push a car onto us the very first day we were there like some other sales people do, so we called in a few days and closed on the deal. Finance department ran different options for us and was not trying to push all sorts of unnecessary extras just to make money and sell those products but they did advise us on a warranty that would save us money on the long run. Certainly enjoyed the time and would recommend this dealership .

Beyond horrible experience, I wouldn't ever recommend this dealership to anyone. 4-1 1/2 hour trips down there and still no car, even though all paperwork is signed. They make promises for cars that aren't on the property and their customer service is pathetic. If I could rate less than one star I would. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

TL;DR - Stay away! These guys can't be trusted and will do ANYTHING to charge you the extra $1299 for their McClarty Package. Go somewhere else. Long Version: Started well enough, with some test drives, plenty of information on the cars, and a courteous salesman. Then we went inside. Sat at the desk while our guy gathered numbers, talked to the manager, etc. Fairly typical car-buying stuff. Gave them the keys to our trade so they could check it out (didn't get them back until we left 4 hours later). First started sensing that things weren't going to go smoothly when our salesman (Gary) brought the first round of numbers. Saw a charge (over sticker) for $1299 for the "McClarty Package". Includes 2 tinted front windows, 4 locking lug nuts, rubber floor mats, and some little protective stickers for under the door handles. Told them we didn't want that stuff, so that $1299 would be taken off, right? Nope... It's added to every new car on the lot. After some back and forth, they agreed to remove the charge, but we wouldn't get the floor mats. That's ok with us. Now about the price... I've purchased enough vehicles to know that nobody in their right mind pays sticker or anywhere near it for a new car. Haggling is part of the sport in buying a car. First offer: $800 off. Poor start, but ok, let's tango. Back and forth, back and forth for 2 hours. Visit after visit to the manager. Never got to a price we were happy with, and every offer they brought back had mysteriously included the McClarty Package again. We told them the color and everything we wanted, but they didn't have one on the lot. They found one that they said would be the same price as one they showed us on their lot, and could have it shipped in. I asked to see the sheet with a breakdown of the price, and when they brought it over, the price was higher. I asked why the price was different, and was told they didn't know. It's just the price the other dealer is charging to swap cars. No idea if there were extras on the vehicle that made a price difference, they said. When I did the math, the difference was exactly (to the dollar) $1299: the price of the McClarty Package. These guys had tried to hide the charge of their overpriced add-on package (that we had REPEATEDLY declined) in the price from this other dealer. I told them we were done. Couldn't trust them. 1-star review. The next day, they sent an email asking if our experience had been great, and I unloaded a half-day's worth of frustration into what I assumed was an automated email system. Received a response from the General Manager, and began communicating with him. He apologized for the experience we'd had, and assured is that those weren't sales tactics they taught. After a few days of emails, he sent us an offer as a last ditch effort to earn our business. It was a really good offer. I told him that had we gotten to this point a few days earlier, things could've been different. I appreciated his attempts to make things right, but couldn't in good conscience do business with them. They had lost my trust with their underhanded tactics, and I would never refer anyone to their dealership. For the GMs apology and efforts to earn our business, I'm increasing to 2 stars. Still do NOT recommend.

After spending 2400 to service my Honda Odyssey to check it stem to stern, including having the brakes done and brake calipers and pads replaced so my newly licensed daughter would have a safe vehicle to drive, I find out the hard way that the brake calipers were not installed correctly. Fortunately, the caliper came lose, taking out the rim near a stop sign where it locked up in a sudden stop and could not even be moved off the road without a wrecker. Had it happened just minutes prior while my children were on a highway going 65-70 miles an hour...I cannot even think what could have happened. Update: I appreciate that you contacted me quickly and replaced the damaged rim. Your service department was very kind and helpful.

I went to this dealership looking for a Honda Fit and drove away in a 2017 with low mileage the same day. The staff here, especially Kelly in sales and Zach in finance, were knowledgeable and personable through the buying process. Dropped car off for an oil change and rotation. We were informed that a some point we had a flat and whoever repaired it put a different tire on it. Funny that. We bought the car from this dealership. And it’s never had a flat tire. The only time the wheels have been off of it, was at the dealership. This dealership. When you call your customers liars, you lose them. Please remember, men may work on cars, but women buy them. Men don’t buy them without a woman’s approval either, you know what else they do. They sell them, and they also talk...a lot. Glen and David. Thanks for the customer service. And thanks for calling us liars. $1000 later, Your explanation is just as valid as us saying you were working on a car beside ours and mixed up the wheels. Lost a customer for life.

Bad customer service my girlfriend bought a honda accord. Ask just for the car with no warranty then with out her knowing they added a vantage warranty and a cna warranty. Now we have to go back and get that taken off. Never buy a car from this place they will scam you. This place will rip you off if you don't read your vehicle's contract carefully. This place added 3,800 in warranty my girlfriends car without her knowing and she said she didn't want a warranty. She went back to fix the problem then they shorted her on the refund by almost 200. This place get 0 stars from me.

They say they cant come down to KBB good price because they have more info than KBB- sureeee. One of the sales people I worked with was very inattentive and patronizing the entire time I was there. The other, a new hire, was lovely and he's the only reason I'd give the dealership a star at all.

Probably the best vehicle service center I ever visited. It's also one of the places where I was asked the most questions (meaningful ones) regarding my specific issue (loss of A/C cooling after a while) . Like great doctors, great mechanics will try to get to the bottom of the issue not only by immediate diagnostics, but also by consulting the customer regarding subtle long-term behavior of the issue. They also demonstrate critical thinking. I was presented a list of recommended actions an agreed to an alignment fix. They found an alignment discrepancy, but remembered that I had a recent check done (which would have likely captured a lack of alignment) and that the vehicle was under load. Therefore, the reading was likely off and they called off the item. This is clear evidence that they are honest and competent. They could have just charged me and caused a misalignment. They also explained which of their proposed items were high priority and why. The lobby is pleasant and the staff is friendly.

Had a pretty bad experience here. Salesman didn’t seem to want to help me buy a vehicle that I wanted, he kept trying to sell me the most expensive one that he possibly could, even though I made it clear I did NOT want to buy it. He gave me a lot of ultimatums on how I needed to make a decision and buy it right now or nothing would work out and I would be screwed, I felt manipulated. If I didn’t want to do it his way, it seemed like I would be screwed. He also would not contact me in a timely matter, customer service is huge and he did not have any good customer service. I’m sure the people here are great, but the only way I’d even consider stepping foot in that place again or contacting them would be if I had a different salesman. He was obviously there for himself, and didn’t seem to care what I was looking for. On to different dealers for me, unfortunately.

Around noon.parked in the front for parts..was greeted at our truck by an anglo salesman.who looked at us as roaches spoke to us in a really rude tone ,asking "just who are you looking for?".....I never expected that greeting from a salesman at a new car dealership..I asked for parts department and was told bluntly where to go..ill never return to this dealership again.... I’ve been to this dealership many times over the past 4 years. Typically, I come in a Saturday to get service on my two Hondas. I know that Saturday’s are busy days; I don’t mind waiting for a few hours. I understand. My most recent experience was just horrible customer service. I got a tepid response when I pulled in. I waited around ten minutes before I asked if they could even talk to me about what I needed—just an oil change. When I asked if I was going to be able to get service, I was told that they were incredibly busy, and essentially it was not worth waiting. If that was the case, they could have told me up front and just asked and explained that would have fine. Numerous employees walked past without saying anything. Step up your customer service, McClarty, or you’re going to lose this customer and probably others.
