My mother went there to replace a part on her car and before hand was quoted a little above 1600 before she she had did it. The person who did the quote denied that he never did see or even do this quote and this lead to it being close to 2000 dollars instead. Essentially lying to her an getting more than 300 dollars and ripping her off. She had trusted the quote that was given to her was going to be what she was expecting but was not. You have lost a customer that was going to buy a third car from you all because you lied and played her. Don't expect our business anymore.

Had routine service on 9/5/19. Wade Neal was my service advisor & was wonderful in every respect. He explained what was done & what needed to be done. I waited in the waiting room until the service was completed. I even had a bag of popcorn! I have no complaints & actually enjoyed having time to read & play games on my iPhone. I have another appointment in a week to have some repairs.

High prices, hidden “shop” fees, can’t find a value over having oil changes, filters, fluids, etc. done locally or even by myself. Dealerships have historically been nicknamed “stealerships” and such for trying to milk every penny they can from the customer. Given the reputation of dealerships in general, I wish they would step up and offer a real value where customers would choose the dealer over other local mechanic shops. Be up front and transparent with pricing. In 2016, I special ordered my Tundra Limited from this dealer thinking they were different. For several reasons since my purchase (not listed in this post), I don’t see that this dealer is notably different from any others that I’ve visited. Create a value while providing exceptional service and you will earn my business.

My husband has been looking around at Tundras. He asked a salesperson if they had a certain color of a 2019 available and the salesperson text him back “I’m All done.” I have a screenshot of the conversation. I don’t understand why you would be in business if this is the customer service skills that is displayed. I was already upset two years ago when I traded in a vehicle for a new four runner because they had released his cell phone number without our permission. The buyer of the Jeep had texted my husband about the Jeep. So between the horrible customer service experience and the leaking of private information, I’ll take my business elsewhere!

We arrived an hour before opening purposely so we'd be in the front of the line since we had other obligations early in the day on Saturday. As a result we were the first in line in the Express Lane. Which unfortunately means nothing since one of the staff just ignored us and went around to the outside doors and backed in 2 cars in both bays. And when I asked why the position in line means nothing - he said well even though it says you should pull here for Express service, you should go to the other lines because the service people get to those lines first - and its whoever gets the paperwork filled out fastest. This is a really poor way to conduct business. Maybe you should put a big sign out that says "don't really line up here unless you want to have people backed into the service bays ahead of you and don't bother to come early to get in line."

In for a routine +35k maintenance. Service was busy and although I made an appointment and opted to wait for my car the wait was long. But the customer service and vibe in the wait area was great. My wife and I were stranded at a store without our car starting this afternoon. Toyota was nearby and came to our rescue and started our car. It was near their closing time yet they took care of getting us a new battery installed. Being a handicap person what a blessing this was. Your employee Reagan went above and beyond in coordinating this effort for us. Josh came and started our car so we can get it to Toyota. Once we were there Nicholas took care of the battery installation in a very helpful way. We’ve been with Toyota for years and are very happy with this kind of service.

Everything about this transaction was a mess. They added a Roadvantage service contract/warranty that I told them I did not want. It was $1550 extra. I was able to get it removed, but when the paperwork was mailed out, they failed to correct it on the bill of sale. I was about to pay the sales tax on it when I spotted the error. A call to the dealer got the computers are updating response. An hour and a half of my morning was wasted waiting to get it registered, and now I have to make a return trip. The Certified Pre Owned process was also incomplete. There was a crack in the windshield that had not been replaced and the floor mats had been stolen by another salesman. UPDATE - I followed the directions I had been given in the message from the owner and called the customer relations number given. She verified my story and said I would be getting a call from the finance person that I worked with. It has been a week and I still have not received that phone call. There was also no mention of anything that would be done to correct what happened, just that I would get that phone call. I had paid the sales tax on the initial visit to the revenue office, and I’m glad that I did as I have no faith that anything would have been done to correct this and that I would have faced going back to pay it or get ticketed for failing to register the vehicle. I’m starting to believe that these mistakes are made to collect a commission and if caught, the dealership will void it and be right back where they started with no consequences. Too many representatives of this dealership have been apathetic about this situation for me to believe otherwise.

McClarty Toyota's personnel are professional and helpful. However, Toyota's warranty/recall process is very flawed and a waste of time for the technicians, customers, and service managers it is ridiculous for a customer to bring a vehicle in for inspection to see if it needs parts when toyota has already identified the requirement by the VIN. Toyota should authorize dealers to order parts prior to the customers' appointment based on VIN alone. Because of the current policy I wasted the time of the dealership personnel, myself, and a co-worker who was there to give me a ride home. Now I have to wait for parts to arrive, bring the vehicle BACK to the dealer, then have the work done. What happened to customer service? If dealerships could order parts ahead of time, since it is an identified recall, my faulty airbags would be fixed already. UTTER WASTE OF TIME FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED. Fix this process.

The best service and car buying experience I've ever received! They really try to work with you on purchasing a vehicle. Anthony was my salesman that I had been communicating with all week by email on a particular used vehicle I was interested in. I finally decided to go test drive the used car and was very impressed. Unfortunately, Anthony had another customer to help that had scheduled an appointment prior, and so I was asked to work with Richard. They both were great and very knowledgable. I did not purchase a used Toyota; however, in speaking with Richard, and my overall experience, I will definitely be back for future business. Very disappointed truck as issues with electric brake controller they say they can't check it with out a trailer now my boyfriend has to pull it there using his truck we know nothing wrong with trailer because we use it on a Chevy and a ram. They offer no gas money for him to do this. Plus now the dash cluster not right after they looked at it. If we lived close maybe different but forty.miles round trip.

I sat and waited for a good 30 minutes while my vehicle was ready and Wade, the service man, told me that he had called my name and I didn’t answer but yet I was sitting there the entire time and my name was never called. The last 3 or more times that I’ve had my car serviced there it has been the same thing. I end up having to go search for my vehicle because no one bothers to come get me when it’s done and one time, the service man (not the one mentioned above), left and went to lunch with my vehicle ready and me sitting there waiting. There was also a woman sitting in the same room as me that had the exact same thing done to her and the service man that was helping her told her that he had tried to call her and she showed him her phone and said she didn’t have a missed call. They did not even attempt to call my cell phone and let me know my vehicle was done. The last two times I’ve had my car serviced, they have left the sticky from the sticker on my windshield. McLarty is the only place that I have had my vehicle serviced. I was told that it would help to hold the value of my car if I keep it documented when it has been serviced and I always put the book on my dash to be filled out but I nearly always have to go back and have them fill it out. I talked with the service manager about all of the above. We use to love this place. This makes the 2nd Highlander I have bought from there. We have also bought a Toyota Tacoma from there for my husband and we have considered buying my daughter a car in the next few years but the service I have been getting is making me truly question whether I will ever buy anything else there.

I was really nervous because this was my first car buying experience....but he was patient and answered all of my questions.... several times...LOL! I called before I arrived and vaguely described what I was looking , and nailed it! I hate leaving negative reviews but this is my vehicle we're talking about. I brought my Sienna in on Monday with a few problems that needed to be addressed and taken care of. My service advisor listened to what my concerns were and he wrote them down (so I thought). He advised me that it may be late that afternoon when they get an answer after diagnostic tests. He called me and informed me that they were more than sure they figured out the problems and the part would be put in the following morning and also quoted me the price. The next morning I hadn't heard anything from him so I called a couple of times and left messages wanting to know the status of my vehicle. When he did call me back he informed me that the wrong part had been ordered and now it would not be until Friday until the part could come in (because of July 4). So Friday he called me up and said everything was taken care of and I could come pick it up. I got there, we paid for it and went out to get it. When I started it up it was as if NOTHING was done to it. I was charged 719 dollars for nothing! I understand diagnostic charges are high but it was extreme. I was also informed that my service manager (who also was apparently let go from Toyota just before I walked in to get my van) did not address all the issues with my vehicle to the service technician and now it will be at least through the weekend and next week before I find out anything because I didn't even get a call or message before they closed on Friday. The only reason I didn't give Mark Mclarty Toyota one star was because of the service technician Jeremy and the shuttle van driver, Terry. They were very professional and courteous and I truly appreciate their professionalism.

I took my car in to the NLR Toyota location for service today. Wade greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. He offered a drink and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. He also kept me updated on the status of my car. While waiting, I received a call from my daughters school. She wasn’t feeling well and needed to be picked up. He quickly put me in a rental and had me on my way. He even took the time to call and make sure all was ok. He told me to relax and let him do the hard work. I didn’t have to have the car back until 6:00pm. When I returned, he greeted me and the kids at the door with a smile and jokes. He even helped them to hot chocolate and popcorn. He along with the other staff especially the car rental staff were wonderful. Thank you for making a very difficult day much better. You have earned a loyal customer.

The service done on my Toyota Prius was prompt and they did an amazing job. Unfortunately the customer service at McLarty Toyota was atrocious! I understand that they are busy but I must have called at least a dozen times throughout a 2 day period and all but 2 of those I was put on hold and then disconnected or I was sent to the service technician voicemail. I left multiple messages and NEVER rec'd a call back. Fortunately the 2 times I spoke to the service technician I was informed of the service needed on my car and the second was that it was ready. Though I appreciate that information and the technician was courteous it would have been nice to have been called and informed rather than having to call a dozen times just to get any information. I am a devoted Toyota owner and if Mark McLarty Toyotas Sales Department is anything like the service department I can assure you I will not buy a Toyota at this location.

Typically I would give a good review of this dealership. This trip was not one of those times. I arrived for scheduled service and no one was came out to the service line. I waited for about ten minutes before someone came and got my keys. They seemed very rushed, took my keys and I went to the lobby. Despite being thirty minutes early it was two hours before I left from a simple oil change and tire rotation. This is frustrating due to my previous attempt at scheduled service being told it would be two and a half to three hours wait and I would get in and out quicker if I came during the week. No mention of the recent recall notification sent by Toyota concerning the sudden stops caused by the front sensor. After my 25k mile service is complete I won't be coming here for service. Prices at the dealership are too inflated anyway.

I have left my vehicle with McLarty Toyota on two different occasions (about 2 years apart). Both times, a member of the McLarty team drove my vehicle into a pole. The first time was the day I bought my vehicle from them, an employee was driving it to get gas while I was signing the paperwork and reversed into a pole at the gas station. The second time was when I brought it in for a software update. A different employee was taking it around back and drove into another pole. McLarty did replace the parts for free after both occasions, but they tried to be sly the first time and just buff it out, but it was poorly done and I could still see the dent. I gave them two stars because they were upfront and honest about what happened and fixed the vehicle for free, but I will never trust them with my vehicle again.

I would not recommend the service department to anyone. I was stupidly talked into a "fuel system cleaner" for $180. To rotate and balance the tires the charge was $150. Also we got our truck quoted to replace a plastic handle and it was going to be around $300. The service department is an absolute rip off and I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Service Dept has gone down hill in my opinion since Mclarty took over. Then it has gotten even worse since one of there service writers slash mangers left this summer. Today took my 4 runner for a basic service. Everything was going great. Untill the end. My 4 runner sat in the return area for over 20 minutes. I tried to get the attention of my service writer and was pretty much ignored. Once I did he said no one brought the paper work to him. Which I understand may not be his fault but still bad management to leave a customer sitting there for that long with there car done. I wish they would go back to the oil change area being separate service writers like it was under north point.

I had the worst experience ever at McLarty Toyota today and I will not be returning. I spent 5 hours there and left completely unsatisfied. I took my car in for an oil change but also had a cabin air filter replaced and a cowl cleaning done per Mclarty recommendation. When I left my a/c sounded horrible, I had a major oil leak that I didn’t have prior to coming in and I had a check engine light on that was not on when I brought the car to McLarty. Upon returning it to the dealership for an explanation, they check the car and told me they forgot to close a clamp on the cabin air filter which is xplaoned the a/c sound but could not tell me why my car was leaking so much oil when it had not been before. If the car was leaking that much oil prior to the oil change they shouldn’t have even changed the oil. This is the first time I have had problems with them since they became McLarty but I will not trust them with my car again. I will be reporting this to the attorney generals office and the better business bureau for further investigations.

My experience was horrible. I went in on Monday stayed about 4 hours, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I called the shop Wednesday on my way back and talked to a gentleman named Nick and asked about seeing if we could put my truck into the shop to fix the problem. He said he needed to ask someone and would call me right back, and he NEVER called. I then brought it back in on Thursday they kept it until Friday evening and STILL didnt fix the problem. I contacted the agent Phillip who was assigned to my truck and called at 9 Friday morning he wasnt there. Called at 10 he didnt answer. Called at 11 finally got him, he told me that he would get with the technician and call be back at noon at the latest. NEVER recieved a call or heard from him until I called at 3:30 he told me they didn't figure it out and I could come get it. While I was there Monday I saw a sign that said I could get a transmission fluid replacement for 10 dollars or get two things done for 25. I decide just to stick with the transmission fluid replacement. I talked to the service rep Phillip when I dropped it off and asked if they still had the $10 deal going on, he said YES. I showed up today to pick it up and had over $200 bill waiting for me. I still have the picture of the sign, to prove my point, because as I was leaving they made sure to change the sign. I was told many times by my service rep Phillip that he would call me to give an update on my truck and he only did one time after I called him at 3:30 Friday evening.

Had service appt scheduled for 7/6. I knew that I had an alternator problem. Battery light was flashing. I charged my battery to get to the appointment. Specifically put in the online scheduling form "please check my alternator". Specifically asked the advisor "please check my alternator". When the advisor called to tell me the vehicle was ready, I asked him "was the alternator checked". He said No, but the battery tested fine, everything is good. So I drive home from service appointment, and now I have a dead battery. We have been coming there for a few years for service, and in the last year or so, the customer service has really been lacking! I'm very upset, hoping that they will handle the situation on Monday. I was fully prepared to pay for a new alternator, and I am still prepared. I'm not trying to get freebies. I just wish that it would have been checked. Now I'm stuck without a vehicle for the weekend. You can reference RO# 174086, and read the comments in the associated online scheduling form, where I ask to have the alternator tested! I will be happy to Edit my review, if a Service Manager contacts me

Brought car in for basic service; oil change and tire rotation. Explained to advisor that my vehicle has 2 different sized tires on both front and back. Gave specific instructions on rotation. A few days after the service my wife noticed the larger tires on the front and smaller on the rear. I spoke with the service manager Scott about this issue and we agreed to me bringing the car in the next day and for me to get a rental car. Scott ensured the car was corrected which I was pleased and grateful. The only concern I have is, was the tires rotated correctly or once it was done for the second time did the tires go back to the same side of the car when i brought it in originally? Also, it caused me additional time out of my day to stop by to drop off and pick up. I appreciate Scott's willingness to compensate me by having the car handwashed. Please don't put armor all on the floor mats in the future. Could create a dangerous situation as it is very slippery. Thank you

Both times...your brake pads have plenty of wear left...BS...six months later grinding coming from front...BOTH ROTORS ARE TOAST because they NEVER CHECKED THE INSIDE PAD!!.
