For a walk in I probably waited an expected amount of time, but was hoping it’d be under two hours wait. It was right around 2.5 hours even though they quoted me about an hour and a half. But they also did some extra stuff that was needed besides my oil change at that time. I’d never been there before, so not knowing what to expect. I filed the paperwork nearly 3 months ago here with Kevin to cancel my gap, extended warranty etc. After trying for 3 days this week to find out what the status of my refund is I finally showed up in person to ask. Turns out they never filed it. I've waited nearly 3 month and will now have to wait an additional 4-10 weeks. I've purchased 2 new cars from here and I can promise I won't be back.

My day started with me having a wreck with total loss situation. I was in new of a replacement fairly quickly. I was impressed with this dealership from the start. I greeted on arrival but they did not hover. I was free to look but when I asked about a car...they had keys in hand ready for test drive. Bill Carter was teaching a new sales rep. He was able to get me in and out quickly while explaining to the car features to me and paperwork to his "shadow"( sorry..can't remember the young lady's name). Finance was great. The gentleman was able explain offers available to me. I qualified for an extended warranty on a used car. He was able to inform me on Gap insurance options. If I had financed gap through insurance company vs dealership, insurance company would charged a 500 deductible on Gap. Dealership does not. Friendly staff, informed staff, and competitive car prices. Will use again

What an incredible experience we had!!! We were on a road trip from Indiana to Texas and had our starter go out at 3am on the 3rd of July! Roadside assistance towed us here at 630am. By 640am Glen(mechanic) pulls up and takes us right in before they even opened. There we met Glen(manager) and they allowed us to bring our dogs in while we waited. Everyone was extremely friendly! That's where we found out the starter went out and a new one wouldn't be delivered until Friday which would've completely ruined our vacation. Glen had arranged to take one off a truck on their lot so we could get back on the road! If we didn't live so far away we'd always purchase our vehicles through them! Both Glen's were incredible, caring, wonderful people who made sure we were happy! I can't say enough goods things about them and this dealership! Thank you all!!!!

My husband called to make an appointment to fix a front end issue and some recalls with my Ford Escape. We were told to bring it in at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arrival, I was told that I would have to leave my Escape for at least a week (with no prior mention of leaving it, we were unprepared for this). After waiting for over 2 hours, a rental was made available to us. (It had taken about 30 minutes to get the rental secured; but the remaining time was spent attempting to print a temporary tag because the internet was down.) During this time, I was told that my Escape would not even be looked at to be diagnosed that day. (My question here was...why did I bring it in today, if you’re not even going to diagnose it today?) Twelve days later, I returned to pick up my Escape. The bill ended up costing me triple what I had planned; and that’s what my warranty did not cover. The longer I have my Escape back the more issues that are arising that were not present before I took it in to be worked on. There is a humming and whining in the front end where they worked on it, a rattle is now present in the rear door, and my SYNC system was not working properly (which messes up all controls and systems in my center dash). McClarty Ford offered to bring my Escape back in to attempt to fix the SYNC system; however, it would cost me $100 for my warranty deductible (even though this was not an issue and working properly before my Escape was with them for 12 days to be fixed). Luckily, my husband had the idea to try a factory reset on the SYNC system; and that seems to have fixed the issues that were present. My Escape was also given back to me with greasy handprints on both front doors (up and down the length of them), a few black/dirt spots on the ceiling (that weren’t there before), and black shoe marks on the inside of the front doors. Overall, I am VERY unhappy with my experience of using Mark McClarty Ford to fix my Ford Escape. I chose to return to them for the repairs because I was a long time customer of the North Point franchise; and I thought I would be getting the same excellent service that I had always received before. However, I am very disappointed in my experience with Mark McClarty Ford; and I will not be returning.

Horrible experience. I decided on a Lincoln MKZ Black Label which wasn’t available in state, but I decided to give this Lincoln dealership in Little Rock a chance to see if they could transfer one in for me. The salesperson, Hosea seemed friendly at first, but then when he realized he couldn’t sell me the models he had on the lot, he thought insulting me would somehow work. He started comparing the Black Label to some of their models and accused me of not knowing what I want. Insults are not the way to sell a vehicle. I eventually went out of state to Austin, TX for the exact vehicle I wanted. Then I decided to give these guys another chance by going there for my service needs. This time, I dealt with Tia, who is their Lincoln specialist. She incorrectly tells me the warranty services on my car are not transferable from the original owner and rudely tells me to deal with the Lincoln dealership closer to where I live, Trotter Ford Lincoln. Never returning here, their service is horrible from the sales department to the service area. I did end up going to Trotter Ford Lincoln where they have excellent customer service!

The service department called and said I need a cam phaser and it was going to cost 3700, I wasn’t getting any fire to my spark plugs and the right side of the motor, took the truck to best auto and tire in Conway and they put a cam sensor in and the truck runs fine, I will never take anything to Mark McLarty Ford ever again or buy anything from them again

Scheduled recall work 4 days in advance. When I arrived to have the work done, the service advisor said it would be "late" before it was done. I asked how late, and his question was "did I need my car back today?" How many people can go without a vehicle for multiple days? Then the questions started about additional services, etc. all of which came with hefty price tags. $54 for an oil change was ridiculous enough, so there's no way I was going to let them charge $100s for air filters, fuel system treatment, etc. Returning to McLarty will be a last resort. Smith in Conway will get any future work that needs to be done by a dealership.

I think you should have the option of deciding to pay a 48 dollar shop fee to basically throw away towels or to go elsewhere that does not have a 48 dollar shop fee. Vehicle repairs are costly, I dont like hidden fees.

I would give this establishment no star's if that was an option. I visited this dealership on July 25th 2019 in search of a newer vehicle for work. Picked out the perfect ride for my business and my family of 6. Would have driven off the lot that night wasn't for the type of insurance I had at the time. Was told to fix that right away which I did and wait for a call. They called me back in the next day which me and my family was estactic about finally we had something to be proud of and safe and reliable. I traded in my late model Honda van and signed all the paperwork and was on my way. About a month later I was contacted by Kevin in the finance department to come back to the dealership wasn't given a reason why until I got in the office. Kevin then told me the bank had denied my application for reasons unknown which I verified with and was given a date to make my 1st payment. They tried to get me to settle for another vehicle which at that time I was open minded and very worried about how I'm going to continue operating my business. That was denied, was told to take the vehicle home by another salesman until they find another car. At this point all I want was my trade in back it wasn't pretty but it got the job done. They paid off the balance due on August 1st and sold it to a third party. This is now August 21st when they called me back in the office. So eventually they threaten to tow my vehicle back September 9th which at that point I took it back to get a full refund because they didn't have my trade. They ran my credit without my knowledge on a vehicle I had no interest in and finally the end result. Me and my wife left the dealership empty handed no car, no way to operate my business, no way to take my kids to school, no way to even go to the grocery store. We live in the country where its a must to have a car. This has been the worst car buying experience I've ever indured. They don't care about you as a consumer there.

I have had nothing but issues with my 2014 Ford Focus bought at this dealership when it was North Point and now owned by McClarty. The shudder is a constant issue and has been replaced the fourth time in 5 years along with the 10 recalls the car has had in the same amount of time. Three years I still had a power train warranty until the fourth time when I was a couple thousand miles over the limit. We fought them to get the repair done free of charge since we were told it wouldn't be fully covered. Only after speaking with management was it free of charge. The lug nuts are swollen and no one can take them off except Ford so we had to buy brand new lug nuts for all tires just so we can get a more affordable oil change and tire rotation. Everything is expensive and unless you ask what each fee will be you will be charged a lot in shop fees and taxes on top of expensive parts. I recently had my car die in a parking lot and had it towed to McClarty. It was kept for a week for them to tell me that they were finally able to work on it Wednesday evening. I was told that my car parking lights were left on to drain the battery. It took them until Friday to finally realize that my car battery cells weren't maintaining charge and the car died in their parking lot. I asked how much the battery would cost and I was told by Glen $199 and he would prorate the battery since I was there all week. I found out later that they had a battery for $99 online with a coupon. When I asked why I wasn't offered the less expensive battery i was told by him that it wasn't a good enough battery for my car. More like it wasn't as expensive! I was also hit with a shop fee I wasn't told about on top of the $133 diagnostic fee he mentioned just for them to tell me that the battery wasn't working. Then came the taxes I was told about. Glen then proceeded to tell me that he was doing me a favor and prorated the battery so that I wouldn't be spending over $400. That really upset me. The battery itself ended up being about $125. Well I feel completely taken advantage of and I refuse to ever return or ever buy a Ford again! Now I have to buy a brand new car because this one is absolutely terrible and isn't lasting past 5 years. Thanks for the legendary experience!

Not a good experience at all. I was told a price for my oil change/tire rotation and then given an invoice $30 higher than what I was told. The cashier lady argued with me and told me I was wrong. Eventually, I had to go to a manager in order to sort it out. Just an all-around bad experience and unfortunately, just makes me continue believing that a lot of car dealerships are only out for a dollar and not to help customers. I will no longer give business to any McLarty dealership and encourage future auto service customers to always get a price on the front end before doing business with any McLarty dealership. I realize $30 is not a lot of money, it’s just the principle of treating customers in a manner you would want to be treated. Very disappointing.
