I was vacationing in Branson when my Camry developed a problem that was preventing the trunk from closing. I drove down the next day because they were more helpful on the phone than the one that I called in Springfield. They figured out a way to fix it without using new parts and didn’t charge me. Obviously not everything is free, though it seems like they aren’t prone to make up fraudulent service charges.

I am pleased with the service I have received. However, I must warn you that you must be willing to schedule at least a week out. I have never been able to get into this dealership quickly. They stay booked up, which is a problem for me, because I constantly use my Prius for out of town highway trips.

I have bought four cars from them since about 2003. The service is honest and reasonably priced and the people are caring. There is no high pressure sales or service. Kyle Huff, in sales is excellent to work with. As of this writing I have 159,665 miles on my Prius. That is really good news for me and not so good for Magness. The car runs like new. The excellence of their product really cuts back on their sales! ;-)

I went to Magness and got a used Corolla. 2 years later Kyle Huff sold me a new Camry. I am grateful to be able to trust Magness Toyota and very happy with how special I am treated. I bought my first Toyota from Magness in August of 2007. Since then, I have bought another Tacoma, 2 Tundras, and a Camry from them. Kyle Huff is a fantastic low-pressure salesman that wants you in the right vehicle for you. The service and parts departments are great to work with and they won't sell you parts or services you don't need unless you insist. Honest from the top down, these people are the best!

I can't speak for the car sales side of Magness, but I had a very disappointing experience with the service department. After having some errors show up while driving my Prius, and not being able to start the car's gas engine, I had the prius towed to Magness. This was my first time taking a vehicle there for service. On the phone I was told that the codes showed a P0AA6 "Hybrid Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault." They initially said the car had several other issues. When I asked about what they were, the serviceman told me "oh, the guy who checked it out has just been doing this awhile and is worried about potential issues with the Inverter, and other parts of the hybrid system." He wouldn't give me any other info on the car or potential issues. However, he did tell me that I needed to replace the hybrid battery and gave me a quote of $3600. Upon arrival at Magness I paid the $40 service fee, and decided to try again to ask for more details. The serviceman told me that "replacing the battery has a 50% chance of solving your problems." He proceeded to tell me that basically the car could have other issues, but they can't look into them until I pay their $3600 to buy a Toyota issued battery. The serviceman also wasn't sure whether it would be a refurbished battery or a new one: "just whatever we get from Toyota." At that point I knew I would not be spending any more money there. I probably would have gotten better info towing my car to O'Reilly's. The icing on the cake was when the serviceman gave me the key and pointed out a car in the lot that wasn't mine (my car was in the opposite direction, in a hidden area of the lot). Of course I told him this and he eventually found out where mine was. Basically, I left work early to pay $40 to be told that they can't look at my Prius because it has an after market Hybrid battery, and that there's a 50/50 chance that replacing the battery with "whatever Toyota gives them" for their $3600 will solve my problems. I left with nothing but a receipt: no proof my car was even looked at.

I took my Toyota tundra to get a recall taken care of. They ended up not having the right part to fix it and deemed it not driveable due to safety issues of not being able to roll down any windows until the part came in next week. I understand that and was fine with it however they refused to give me a rental. Thank goodness my parents have an extra vehicle I could use or else my daughter and I would be without transportation for a whole week. I am highly disappointed and will NEVER use them again.

I bought a 2018 Highlander yesterday 8/16/2018 from Magness in Harrison, AR. I was very pleased with the sales force. NO pressure. Honest suggestions and advice. Colton was very knowledgeable, and helped us decide to get a Highlander VS a Rav4. We are so glad we got the Highlander. We bought a new Highlander in 2004 and still had it with 220,000 miles on it. Best car I ever drove. Now we are back in a new Highlander and so happy. Compared with the other Toyota dealers in a 100 mile area I can say that Magness is the best. They had a big inventory and if they don't have what you want they can find one for you in a 4 state area. Do yourself a favor and look here first, you won't be sorry you did!
