You always see posts on different places good and bad but my personal experience with John Gibson has been great. I traded in a truck for a can am Spyder and honestly they had some problems with the paperwork on thier end but it all got taken care of in a very professional way. They are very nice people to deal with. Joseph is a great guy and real helpful. The ladies in the payment dept are great. If you want a good deal with great people go see them. I'll definitely buy my next Spyder from there.

Here is my honest experience with this dealership. I got pre-approved prior to coming up to the dealership. Upon coming I met a dealer by the name of Joseph he was very personable and directed me to look for a car. After I found a vehicle I returned to him and he was able to get the deal for me. So about a day after getting the vehicle driving it from Hot Springs to Little Rock where I reside, the truck lost power. Very disappointed of course in a new purchase and new maintenance issues I called Joseph and he directed me to return to the shop. When I returned to the shop he quickly got me to the right people to fix the vehicle with no cost to myself. Now here is where I had a slight mishap. The vehicle had issues with the passenger mirror not folding in when pressing the button and not lighting with the turn signal. I voiced these issues with Joseph when I came back to fix the power issue. Instead of maybe just being straightforward or upfront and just telling me that he may not be able to take care of the passenger light or mirror, I was just left to call and leave a voice message after voice message and text message after text message before a entire month had gone by. I unfortunately was told by the service manager that it was too late for them to help. So no other issue other than that issue. But now I don't have any headlights nor do I have any interior lights but they did fix the misfire just didn't follow through with fixing the passenger mirror with lights not working. In my opinion is it's all connected somehow electrically is why my my headlights not working nor the interior lights work. However I am not a mechanic nor do I have electrical experience in vehicles I just feel like that it was connected. I feel like the experience would have been better had my dealer just told me straight out when they would be able to help me but for such and such fee you know we can look at it and diagnose it and see what's going on and get a get a price. Maybe something they can do for their customers in the future. Anyhow the vehicle other than the lights and headlights and interior lights is perfect I love it and I still feel like I made a great choice just unfortunate to get the runaround. Now I will say this before stopping at John Gibson Auto I had dealt with a lot of different dealers and I was told that Great American Auto on University in Little Rock Arkansas was their sister store. I would definitely just skip that store and head straight to Hot Springs it will be worth the drive. The staff at John Gibson Auto are amazing no matter who picks up the phone no matter who you see when you walk through the door every person on their staff is amazing. That is why I was very disappointed to not know exactly what was going to happen with those lights up front. Nonetheless if you are shopping for a vehicle I would definitely definitely stop at John Gibson Auto if you don't find something that you like you just not looking hard enough because they have some true gems out there and it was very hard to choose but at the end I love my truck and I will be back.

I really wasn't sure exactly who was employees except for the girls behind the computer desks. Which none of them said welcome. I know I won't be going back. you get an opportunity to find a newer model car for a great day with great mileage when your credit not that good. only thing they are "as is" with no warranty is the kicker but other than that its a great place to buy a car without having to be credit approved. reasonable down payments and they work with you. so no credit, bad credit, dont have a co signer. .well this is your place to go.. just as long as you have a job or income and come with that down payment......they will finance you with no problem.

So we bought a car from here two years ago. You always have the fear that you will get a lemon when going to a used car dealership. This SUV has been a dream to drive around and has had no issues that aren't normal for it's age and mileage. But today they earned the 5 stars. Before I was just a satisfied customer. Now I am a solid and convinced customer. The transmission on our SUV started going out last Sunday. We have been struggling to finance this unexpected cost and had run out of options. Finally I called JG just to see if we might be able to trade it in and just take the hit of the negative equity. Their salesmen sent me to a service man who charges HALF of what a normal transmission shop would charge (this is not due to cheap materials but due to the amount of work that is done with the dealership, which gives them the ability to charge lower rates), and they tacked this additional charge onto my car payment. They will even send a truck and come and pick it up! I am so pleased and will definitely be doing business with them whenever we need a new vehicle!

Me an my husband were in search of an SUV so we decided to pay them a visit...Our initial greeting was asking us to move our vehicle... very rudely ...Then we walked around the lot for almost an hour an not one person asked if we needed any help...we also browsed the cars ...after my husband said maybe if i go inside an look at the motorcycles someone will see if we need help..well nope it wasnt until we were walking to our car did someone ask if we found what we were looking for my husband's response was yes but we will take our business somewhere else. We had been talking with Chris the week prior about buying a motorcycle. I told him we would be down there the following Saturday with the down payment. When we got there there was no place to park. After finally finding a half of a parking spot. We asked an employee at the front door if Chris was available. The employee said "No he's not here" Then said "No just kidding he's right here" Chris had a cigarette in his hand and was smoking right in front of the door. How gross and unprofessional! We finally get taken inside to see the motorcycles & we didn't see the motorcycle I had put an application on. He tells us it sold! I was fuming & so we started looking at the other ones. After, being almost 45 minutes Chris finally comes up to us and tells us "Oh the the one you was interested in isn't sold we sent it off to have it repaired." We live in Conway & drove down to Hot Springs for absolutely no reason at all. He knew how far we were driving and could have called me prior to us driving down there. This place is absolutely a place I would NEVER EVER recommend to anyone! Horrible customer service & horrible communication. He smoked 4 cigarettes while we were waiting the 45 minutes. Do not waste your time!

I love John Gibson!! This is my second car with them and any future cars my family needs we will head to them! My first car was a Tahoe that latest 3 years before someone totaled it! The only problem I had with the vehicle was needing new tires about a year after I purchased the vehicle. Duh! It’s a used car people! I was pleased with simply just the tires in the entire three years! After that car was totalled I purchased a cash car. Because let’s be honest no one wants a car note. Well it failed on me about two years later but John Gibson didn’t fail me! May of 2016 I drove to John Gibson at 3pm from Little Rock, explained my situation and they had me on the road in the car I wanted in time for me to get back to work in Little Rock by 6! Amazing customer service!! Tina is an angel and is always trying to help! My air conditioner went out and she went above and beyond to make sure I was helped! As expected these are used cars...they have a little wear and tear so yes just like any car dealership a car can have issues. Keep in mind new cars have problems as well and you pay twice as much at least! In my experience with them they would not sell a vehicle knowing it had a problem. They are good honest people and have our business for life!

I guess I should have payed more attention to the other comments about customer service it is terrible first off I sat on hold for 14 Mins to get an answer then some lady answers the phone and I ask I was trying to find out some information on a motorcycle you have she says you have the Vin number I say no but I know the make and model. Then there is a silence and the phone starts ringing like she transfered me without even saying hold on or let me get you to someone that can help you. This was very disrespectful

I must say that I will continue to do business here. I will say that if you ever call and Misty happens to answer the phone you must tell her that your going to get some milk and cookies from downstairs lol. On a serious note the staff has always made sure that whatever issue or concern I had it was taken care of! I will highly recommend anyone that in the market for a vehicle this is the place to come!
