FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Price on Car Guru was $13,365 on 3/4/19 for a red Buick Encore stock #15032 and other Encores. I returned the email from Ryan to let he know I would be arriving. I did test drive it. So what the financial guy did was add the regular price back by not giving me what my trade in was worth. Which from other dealerships was $9000. He offered $4000. The car is a 2017 in pretty good shape. I expected to be $3000 upside down but absolutely not $8000. So this is how they didn't honor the price advertised. They just try to do you extremely bad on your trade to add the money back for their false advertisement. I would be embarrassed to be the owner of Gwatney to know this was happening at my business. Even Wal-Mart honors their prices. I asked to talk to the financial guy. I told him I saw what he did. He said we cannot sale a car at almost 50% of the price and stay in business and that it was a price mistake. I told he then good business is to honor the price advertised. He said he did. He proceeded to tell me my car was only worth $4000. I can provide pictures of my car 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE with 50,855 miles and anyone can see what he was doing to fix the mistake they made by putting it back on me. I hope others don't fall for the false advertising. Spend your money at other dealerships they do not do you wrong. They should honor the price and do the customer right by their trade. $13,365 + $3000 from being upside down on trade $16,365 if not less to show they are truly there to be an honorable dealerships and not mislead customers. It took me 6 days to get an appointment with a check engine light on and difficulty starting. That's the first problem. It should not take nearly a week to be able to bring a vehicle in for service. I had a 9 am appointment. My service advisor told me that they would give me a call when they determined the issue before they began work. After 4 pm, when I had not heard a word, I called to inquire. They informed me that despite the fact that I had an appointment, they wouldn't be able to get to it that day. (Seriously, when was he going to let me know that? I had to call him!) I was clearly unhappy and conveyed that I couldn't be without a car another day and they were out of loaners. (Obviously, more loaner cars are needed.) He called back a few minutes later to tell me they were going to be able to go ahead and do it. The very next day I called about an issue with my remote start (related to the issue I described above). He told me to run by and they would check it out for me. I also let him know at that time that my air conditioner was not working. They replaced my entire rear air unit A MONTH AND A HALF AGO (with a price tag of nearly $2000) and it was already not working. He told me it seemed like my freon was low. I said, "wouldn't that have been something you checked before you ever even told me I needed a whole new unit?" He assured me it was, but the question remains, if they filled it up properly after the replacement, how is it already low? He told me I would have to bring my vehicle back another time and the earliest available date with a loaner was Wednesday. WEDNESDAY. I was there Thursday. That's almost a week in near 100 degree heat for myself and small children to spend with no air. The worst part is, I'm not sure he even really cared or had any empathy for the position I was left in. I declined the appointment and contacted another local establishment. They were excellent and had me taken care of in 45 minutes that same afternoon - truly saved the day for me and the kids and pets who ride with me. Not sure if the problem here is dishonesty, incompetence, or some combination of the two, but if I can help it, I sure won't be back and will urge family and friends to avoid this place as well.

Not happy! Went to pick up my car and it was NOT repaired. Looked like nothing had been done to it. Chad said "that's what it's supposed to look like." Which it is definitely not! And, the other side that was damaged was repaired, but they broke the gas tank lid. I called and asked to speak with the manager, David Sample, 3 times and left messages. Never got a call back. Good thing my insurance is making the company repair it again. Definitely will not be using them again though.

My family has purchased several vehicles from gwatney gmc over the years. So when I got ready to purchase a vehicle I decided to go there. I have never been treated so poorly by a dealership in my entire life. The finance manager openly made fun of my trade and mocked my credit score. This was openly in front of other employees and customers. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. I ended up going to a different dealership down the road and getting the vehicle I wanted at a better price and interest rate. None of my family will ever buy anything else from Gwatney, and we are removing the stickers and plates from them. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Took my vehicle to Gwatney on 05/20 @ 9:30 am for complete brake job and ANS problem, etc. Spoke to Ron/Service Consultant. Vehicle set n shop all day and at 5:15 pm, I received a call from Ron stating they were just getting vehicle in the shop. They now had a problem in that the wheels had locks and they needed my wheel lock tool. I was told they would have to break the locks to service vehicle. I instructed Ron to look again and let me know before they broke any locks. Ron did not all me back that day. I called the GMC dealership on 05/29 @ 8:30 am to speak to Ron and got his voice mail. No return call was ever made to me. I went to the dealership to find that no work was being done on the vehicle, and Ron was off from work . When I asked for my keys, I was told that they were now working on the vehicle to which I replied that I had already been in the bay and saw that no one was working on the vehicle as the tires were still on. I then was told they had found a tool and removed the locks which was not true. Then I was told they work by appointment is why they had kept my vehicle for a whole day and nothing was done. Worst customer service ever and I will never take my vehicle to Gwatney for any type of service.

My wife's father owned his own dealership many years ago and my wife worked for her dad and was taught the importance of service/customer which is what we found at Gwatney. We did not go to Gwatney to buy a car, only to test drive the Encore for future consideration. Joey Simmons was able to get us to sit down and discuss the current special pricing. The pricing was of interest to us, so the Gwatney team began trying to arrange a deal that was acceptable to us. Then Harold Walden took over and began to work on the financing and we were not an easy placement. Harold worked on the deal for a week to find the Encore we wanted and a payment we could manage. Harold also went above and beyond the call of duty by attempting to resolve an old issue I had with the service department. This was an excellent buying experience.

Took my car in to be fixed on an insurance claim. They fixed the body damage but my traction control light was still on. Took it back to have that fixed again. Got my car back and now the cruise doesn't work. The part they replaced turns my cruise off when I hit the brake and now its keeping me from using it all together. I called them back and long story short they think I'm lying about it and refuse to fix it. Class orginazation, lmao!

Stay away from their service center. Made an appointment to have my gmc looked at for an issue with the air conditioner. Made an appointment for Wednesday at 2. When my husband dropped off the vehicle (around 11 because he needed to be back to work), the gentleman helping him said they would go ahead and pull it in to run a diagnostic test on it now. They said they would call if it was a bigger issue than they thought and it would cost more money. 5 o’clock rolls around and we still hasn’t heard anything. My husband called and he gentleman he spoke with said, “oh, we are super behind and we probably won’t even be able to look at your car until Friday at the EARLIEST.” That was never once relayed to us in scheduling the appointment or dropping off the car. What is the point in booking an appointment if you are so backed up you cannot even look at the car.....stop taking appointments until you catch up or at the very least, let your customers know that it is going to take days for your car to even be looked at. We have always taken our car to GMC dealerships and we have always picked our car up the same day. This is horrible customer service and management of scheduling vehicles. Needless to say, we went and picked our car up and we are happily taking our business elsewhere!

I was visiting North Little Rock and needed my oil changed on my GMC Truck. I saw the dealership when I went to Sam's, next door. I spoke with Rob, in service. He was very helpful and accommodating. I had to change my appointment three times (working while in town), and he was equally pleasant each time. They rotated the tires and changed the oil in about an hour. Good experience, nice folks.

Be sure to take pics or video of what you need them to fix if at all possible. They will tell you that they video the inspection and will text it but I have been to get service in Dec of 2018, Jan 2019, and March 2019. I did not receive a video once. They also state that they can not replicate problems therefore the problem that you were hoping to have them fix continues. I am a woman who knows nothing about vehicles. I finally was fed up so I went home and with a few YouTube videos found and fixed the problem. Turns out that my power inverter is bad so every time a put a new fuse in it blows. They obviously never even looked into the problem because this is not a problem that fixes itself, rather just stated they couldn’t replicate. This is one of a few problems. They are nice people just either lazy or incompetent. I will be searching for a new shop.

On Monday night, I hit an animal coming through Little Rock as I was on a road trip home to Houston. I got the car into Gwatney Tuesday around lunchtime, and they got me back on the road by Thursday even though they had to order parts. Chad was awesome at keeping us updated, and even sent me a text the day after we left to make sure we made it home ok. Going though that accident was crazy, but Gwatney Collision did the best and fastest they could to get me home. I'd recommend them!

Bought a used van, advertised price on website was $1000 less than the Facebook price and I was charged the higher price. I didn’t realize it until I got home... As soon as I got home the van overheated and the check engine light came on. Needs a new fan assembly $1200, emission sensor $260, CV joints $1600, tires $750 and a cracked windshield $600. No wonder everyone was so nice and quick to take my trade of my 1969 Chevy. The van was filthy inside and out... I should have walked away but was pressured into buying it. Buyers remorse at it’s finest.

As a bunch of hungry teachers were getting last minute things ready for the start of school we got to enjoy some amazing burgers and grilled chicken. Honestly the best chicken I may have ever eaten. The burgers were delicious as well. The Grilling team had everything done when ready as promised. If you're looking for some good, hot food on time for an event or meeting, please give them a call. UPDATE: I did call in as asked to by the manager. After calling in twice I tried to leave a message on the managers voicemail but it was full. Then I left a message with the lady up front. Still no call back. I purchased a $70,000 truck from them in November. When I purchased the truck I was told to pick an upgrade and they would get it for me. I asked for a drop hitch being I had purchased a lifted truck. They said no problem. After following up several times over a couple of months they said they couldn't find one at a good price. Saying all they found was hitches over $600. Honestly I thought if that was the price then they should had just purchased it. Being we agreed for them to get one for me and considering I bought one of the more expensive trucks they had on the lot. They did offer though if I could find a cheaper one they would pay me back. So I found one for $350. From there I sent them the invoice through text and asked them to mail me the check. Again I waited. After about another two months I had to go into the dealership to get my oil changed. They calmed they never received the invoice from me. I was prepared for that excuse and had a printed copy in my pocket that I gave to them. Still more months have gone by and I haven't been paid back. My advice would be to go elsewhere. It is important to do business with folks that stand behind their word.

What a horrible dealership. We came in to look at a VW Passat and after being turned down for that we were told that we were approved for only one car a Nissan Altima. We were handed the keys for the test drive once we returned James had the paperwork already for us we did not even get the chance to haggle on the price. And against our better judgment we said okay to it. . After having the car 2.5 days it was not starting so back to the dealership we go only to find out it was a dead battery(really on a 2016 with less that 40k on it ?). One thing we wanted was sales tax taken care of or included, but James said that is not something they do but he said if we could not come up with the money in time we can get a 30 day extension so we agreed and singed paperwork. Well our tags expire in 2 day so we contacted James our dealer to find out about getting new tags and he informed us that for leagl reasons we could not extend no explanation to go with. So we called the General sales manager Lance Brown and he informed us that that could only be done if they couldn’t get the title in 30 days and he blew us off like that! I am absolutely pissed with the dealership I am so glad I removed all the Gwatney badges. If you come here to buy a used car you will be treated like the scum of the earth, but royalty if you buy a new car. I will never recommend anyone to this piss poor dealership. STAY AWAY!

The people in sales and services are awesome, but I’m not 100% positive they actually look over vehicles they trade for. My salesman, begged and begged me not to go anywhere else, and I gave him a chance. He was very competent, but when he said, “all their vehicles are thoroughly inspected and meticulously fixed when they received them” (and I quote), that seems like a stretch in hindsight. They may change the oil and rotate the tires, but if it’s not noticeable, I don’t believe they actually inspect the motor or even put it on the computer to see what’s wrong internally. I do understand, without an extended warranty they won’t cover some things, and the factory warranty only covers so much. In the future, I won’t go back. I’ve bought many cars from Everett (Infiniti AND GMC) and they take care of me from top to bottom. They wash my car with no appointments and free of charge. They give you a buffet of breakfast foods, cookies, coffee and all the carbonated drinks you can handle. Everett just gave me a Nothing Bundt Cake for being a customer when I had my oil changed. I really should have shopped with who I know.

I've had 2 recent experiences with this dealer, both for oil changes. On the first trip, I was told that a well known and publicized issue with my vehicle's transmission isn't a problem. apparently all cars shift hard at low speeds...I'm sure once the warranty expires that an expensive solution will be found. On the second trip, I requested a loaner vehicle in advance via the website so I could get to work on time. my confirmation email said that someone would contact me to confirm everything, but no one ever did. when I arrived for service, I was told that loaner vehicles are not given for oil changes, that their website "sucks," and that I should have called them. I was an hour and a half late to work, which messed up my schedule for the whole week. In the future, I will be using my local service shop for maintenance, which is located walking distance from my place of business.

It was very pleasant. I arrived for my appt a little early, the appt was at 4, Derek was Johnny on the spot in checking me in. The transportation driver greeted me in passing as a long lost friend, he had in the past taken me to and picked me up from work while work was being done on my vehicle. I then sat in their customer service area enjoyed the peace and quiet so much that I was able to take advantage of about a 5-10min power snooze. They finished the work, I was checked out by a very nice cashier, everyone I came in contact with expressed their appreciation for my business, and I was on the road at 4:25. "Free lunch for a 5 star rating" is what their real slogan should be. Took my vehicle in for one repair and they broke something else. What's worse? Was in Little Rock for a doctors appt. when my 2017 GMC Yukon screen starting flickering. My mileage was at 35,968. So i called my dealer Harry Robison in Ft. Smith and explained that i would not be able to make it back before my manufacturer warranty ran out. He explained to me to go to nearest GMC dealership which was Gwatney and instructed me to get them to document it and write a ticket on it so when i got back to home they would be able to continue the work under the manufacturer warranty. I explained it to the service department which was Rob Regnas and he said he knew exactly what to do and would make sure everything was documented so the manufacturer warranty would still cover it. So he hands me some paperwork after he hooked up a small type box to get the details of the problem. He said this was the right paperwork i needed and i was good to go. I asked him again to make sure and he said yes. You will be covered even if your mileage was over 36000 miles. Get back to my dealership today with mileage over 36,000 take the paperwork to my service guy and he says this paperwork is no good and Rob Regnas was wrong. My service rep said that Rob did not write up a work order ticket and a technician at Gwatney was supposed to actually look at it and write up a ticket order on it, which would have taken about 30 minutes. Needless to say i was mad and couldn't believe that this Rob Regnas lied straight to my face and knew he screwed me. Now the manufacturer warranty has run out and there is nothing my dealership can do since an actual work order ticket was not wrote up. One thing my service rep is doing is going through all the right steps and procedures through GMC contract to get this fixed for me. He is contacting his Area Rep on his end to let them know exactly what Rob Regnas has done to me. If nothing can be done than i will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket. If i could give no stars to this rip off service guy Rob Regnas i would in a heart beat. Never trust a guy just because he looks like he has morals and looks trustworthy.

In April of 2018 my family and I were traveling to Texas and had a light in the dash go off and the car which rendered the car in bad position. So we took it to Ghawtney GMC for the work. They told us that they had to replace the whole brake system totaling $5200. It would take them about 5 days to get it done since it happened on a Friday. After they tell us that we can pick it up I start the car and the brakes go all the way to the floor. They had to take it back to shop because they said the booster was bad. The one we just replaced. Long story short we had to take it back to another dealership three separate times to fix the work that we paid them to do. I would get a second opinion because they did not take care of us.

I called to schedule an appointment for service. My air conditioner was freezing and not blowing cold air at all (no matter than fan speed - later this will be addressed). The service adviser stated that a/c work was lengthy and they couldn't get it in until the following Monday. I planned accordingly, and dropped my car of Monday afternoon. Thursday after my husband received a phone call asking if he had "picked the car up". He stated no that he hadn't received a phone call but could come immediately. The service adviser ask again "Are you sure you didn't pick your car up?" At this point my husband ask if there was something wrong. The service advisor then ask if maybe my husband dropped the car off in the sales department for an estimate. My husband then went into detail about how he had dropped the call off with the service advisor in the service department and received a loaner vehicle. The conversation then ended with "We lost your car, I'll call you back". Immediately my husband calls to inform me. I then call to check the status of my vehicle wondering if they were going to advise me. The service advisor informs "it's not ready yet". I then ask if this is because they LOST MY VEHICLE. He states "that's old news". Very inappropriate!!!!! Later we found out that my vehicle was parked between "two big trucks". Needless to say there were no repairs do to there being a bulletin on my vehicle. I was advised to keep the fan above speed 3....

Poor customer service unless you have excellent credit. The kid that was our sales person asked if I paid my husband rent. I about died. We gave him our budget and wish list and he didn't listen at all. Said he had to get it done because he was leaving for vacation that night. Very bad experience.

The service dept quoted me one price $136 then claim worst case scenario it'll be $460 and fixed. They couldn't fix the problem but still charged me $420 so I'm out $80 for towing, $420 for them to diagnose and for their hourly rate to try to find what's wrong and $48 to rent a tow dolly to bring my broke vehicle back home. So totally this cost me $548 during the holidays and still don't have transportation. They were uncaring and disinterested on how they service guy lied to me and then was gonna charge me $80 a day storage fee if I don't come get it today. They lie to get you in then bust you over the head to hit your pockets up. Good thing I had a credit card or I would be out my vehicle to. Don't take your car there!!!! Totally unsatisfied and robbed.
