They tried to sell me tires I didn’t need. My tire pressure sensor was on and during a routine oil change, they told me I had a nail and several “small holes” in my tire and it was irreparable. Quoted me $183 plus tax to replace one tire. Of course dealerships mark up. I wanted to shop around so when I picked it up they said they aired it up but was leaking as we speak. Called around for prices. I ended up going to Big Jake’s in Bryant. Told them what I was told at the dealership. Turns out it was ONE small pinhole and completely reparable. Costs me $10. I’m disappointed in Crain. Must have some new people in office because I’ve never had anyone try to hustle me before.

So, I am giving 5 stars because of my follow-up treatment I received. This is long, but worth the read. I promise! Original dealings (as posted on Facebook immed after): The general manager of the Crain Kia in NLR literally just yelled at ME, on the sales floor, that I was trying to scam THEM!!!!!!!! He told me to take my keys and get out. THEY made me an offer, to which I signed the paper in agreement and I accepted, and then 20 min later they came back and changed it and I said no to their bait and switch! Then!!!!!!!!!! They told me they had to pay $2000 to re-do the leather like I wanted it so they had NO wiggle room to work with me on what they last minute changed. Well, fast forward to me sitting in the finance office signing my paperwork and turns out it is only costing them $1000....so they straight LIED!!!!!! When I brought it to the GM’s attention he said I wasn’t paying for it so it was none of my concern how much they pay for it. I said yes it is when you tell me that you are paying $2000 so you have no wiggle room. That’s when all of a sudden I was trying to scam them and was yelled at to get out. Follow-up dealings: So I got online and googled Crain Corporate and found that number. I called and left a message and the COO himself, Branton, personally called me. He listened to my story and said he would address it. He asked if he could call me back and let me know what they had done. First thing the next morning, Branton calls and updates me. They disciplined the GM and would honor the original deal, if I still wanted to shop with Crain. Which, honestly, before Branton called, I would have sworn to NEVER deal with Crain again. But Branton was very kind and I honestly had an AMAZING salesman, Darrian. So I wanted Darrian to get his commission that he should have received and give Crain a second chance. So I went back and purchased the car at the original deal price. So, to sum it up: I had an amazing salesman in Darrian. He was very patient and kind and understanding. He was truly embarrassed for me after the incident. He worked with me and listened to everything I needed and wanted. I would highly recommend everyone go see him! And I had a very good interaction with Crain corporate. Branton was also very kind and responsive. While I did have a bad experience with one of the employees, all the other employees and their kindness and responsiveness made up for the bad apple incident.

I had a new salesman, Ryan, who was training. He is who I leave the 5 star review for. I actually found the salesman he was training with to be pushy and wasn’t really listening to what I wanted. I’d give him far less stars. Fortunately he was spread thin and had to step away lots to help other people. Ryan listened to what I was wanting and also my many concerns regarding my payment amount, my trade-in value, etc. He was happy to show me vehicles I had looked at on the website that his trainer instantly told me were sold before I even told him which ones they were. The finance guys were great at working with me to get me to a payment I was comfortable with. What most didn’t know was that I had a horrible migraine the day I was there and could barely stand to sit there, the horrible heat only made it worse, but they provided me with lots of water and the Crain Kia crew really made the process as easy as anyone could hope for. Ryan may still be in training but he already has a lot of excellent qualities that made me comfortable working with him. I would recommend him to any of my friends & family & I think he will do great things.

I am a very dissatisfied former customer. I have bought 3 different vehicles from this dealer and my patronage is not appreciated at this company. I have had an issue with my oil burning fast in my vehicle over a year now and it is still not fixed. When I originally brought it in and they shrugged off my concern and completed an oil change. Since the beginning of this year I have brought my car up there 5 times or more and three of those time work was done that was said to have fixed that problem and it did not. After the 3rd time of it not being fixed after doing after everything that was asked of me I was denied a loaner vehicle based on the GM with the explanation of “he decides who can have a loaner and who doesn’t”. They also allowed my extended warranty to run out during this time, now I don’t even know if it was something that could have been covered or not. I have decided to use another source to fix the issue, especially since it’s at my expense. I will not use them for anything ever again.

I absolutely hate this place. I bought a car 6 mo ago. The rims were scratched and the tire pressure light was on. I was told the cold air could be making the tires off balance and that after adding air it would go off. It never did. At the first oil change I mentioned it and was told I just need to drive a few miles for it to go off as they had checked all the pressures. 3 mo later, I'm back for another oil change and was told I needed a tire plugged-i had a slow leak. I've been driving for 6 mo up and down highway 30, it would be flat by now. I did however pay for the plug to see what happens and of course the light is still on. I was also supposed to get my rims fixed as a part of the deal. For a couple of months I spoke to customer service around 10 times and my husband as well. I was told they have to get a guy to fix them and they would call me and get it taken care of several times. Here we are 6 mo later, my rims are still scratched and my tire light still on. I went in with my own financing, test drove and picked out my car, the sales person was fantastic! I wish I could say the same about the finance department. I told them the max that I could afford monthly and once again informed them that I had my own financing. When I signed the contract it showed my finance company, but my payments were higher than I wanted but not by much, so I agreed. I was prodded and harassed about not buying the most expensive GAP insurance by the finance person. Not cool!! Then, about 3 weeks later I get a call from some unknown finance company that they had given my contract to instead of the finance company that I had chosen and been approved by. It has now been 30 days and the vehicle that I traded in still has NOT been paid off, and I have NO paperwork for getting my car tagged. I've bought a vehicle here before and not had any problems, but this experience has been horrific. I called today and left a message for Krista, and have yet to get a return call. This is not a good reflection on Crain!!

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this place and their folks. They pushed and pushed to sell my fiance a car--claiming they wanted to purchase her old one back. They are a bunch of crooked, lying jerks! My girlfriend is filing a complaint with BBB and the Attorney Generals office. She should have gone to the competitors dealership (not crain) in Conway. Take some advice steer clear of this place and their poor business practices.

When I went for servicing I was 5 cars behind, so my thought is that I'd have a wait. But to my disbelief 30mins later I was given my key with my car wash and ready to go! The staff, building and quality work was amazing! The only negative I have is when I first was buying the car their that they said they wouldn't run up my credit but did anyway. I had 7 hard hits to my credit score, so don't believe anything any of the dealers say. It's most likely a lie to sell, SMH

My salespeople were awesome! Jakob and Mallory got me into a very nice Kia Sorrento. But if I had known the struggle I would have getting the paperwork to get my tags I would have never purchased a car from here. Half the time when I call I have to leave my name and number then never receive a call back. I could not get my tags because they didn’t give me my proper paperwork so I couldn’t drive my car for a week, so that was awesome. I finally went up in person and had to get a horrible attitude to have a two week temp tag given to me so I could use my car! Tim in financial was very helpful but it still upsets me that I was only in that situation because of their mistakes and no one tried to help me until I got rude.

Salesman was great, (Mr spillers) but when it came to the financing dept not so much. They didn't explain a lot of stuff. For example if our trade in is less than 5k we pay more for the vehicle we chose. Instead of the price it said to be. If this had been explained we would have happily chosen the new 2020 vehicle they tried to sell us instead. Not happy in that regard but I do love my new (to me) Soul so a big thank you to Mr. Spillers for that! He worked hard to make us happy!!! (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Took car in on a recall and while I was waiting a gentleman came and showed me a filthy, nasty cabin air filter and said mine needed to be replaced. I said "That's funny, I just changed that last month when I changed my oil and spark plugs". He didn't have much to say after that! It was obviously not from my vehicle and that's just a crooked way to sell things. Based on that and other things, I will never be back once my warranty is up.

Extremely disappointed that I have been unable to get them to correct the paperwork to show the odometer reading as what it should have shown when I bought the car. Over 150 miles more was on the car than what they had me sign before getting the car. The finance manager no longer works there (Reed). Stay away, go somewhere else that wants your business. They had a car on the lot, listed at one price online, and 5k more when you arrive. I showed them the listed price, then all the sudden they tell me that car was sold late the night before and shouldn't have even been on the lot still. FAKE NEWS. If pushy salesmen and sleazy business is what you're looking for, then this is the place for you. My mom was looking for a car for me. She found two. I asked her to make an offer on one. They wanted her information in order to see what they could do. The sales manager said they wouldn't run her credit. They did anyway and came back with a monthly payment. I asked her to find out the price, term and finance rate. The guy couldn't or wouldn't give it to her. She was talking to 3 guys at this point the salesman, sales manager and finance dept guy. They had the paperwork ready for her to sign and started hounding her. I just wanted a price so I could decide whether or not I wanted to go to my own bank to finance the car. No, thank you pushy, vague deals.

I was with my son helping him by his first car on credit. My son agreed on a the price of a car for 72 months based on a 7.9% interest rate. The contract was totally different from what the salesman agreed to sale the car to him. The price on the car was $1, 700 more than what he originally agreed he would sell the car to my son. Also the term went out to 75 months instead of 72.The finance manager told us they got him a better interest rate. So, because of the better interest rate they tacked on another $1, 700 to the price of the car to make my payments the same as agreed. That's why they always ask you "What do you want your payments to be?"The loan was through Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Crain Kia charged us $1, 000 for their gap insurance. Arkansas Federal Credit Union offers gap insurance for $485. We were never told that Arkansas Federal Credit Union offer gap insurance. I told my son not to sign the contract but he did because they had already let his wife take delivery of the car the day before. The day before when she took delivery of the car, I asked them to print out a buyer's agreement. The salesman said there was no need to do that because everything would work out the way they agreed. Well it didn't work out like they told us. The contract was totally different from what they agreed on. I will never buy a car from them. I will tell everyone I know do not buy from Crain Kia.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I bought a car from them a month ago, still have yet to receive my paperwork. Temporary tags expire today. When I called the dealership and explained what was going on, I was rudely hung up on and had to call back where I could hear them bad mouthing me in the background before I was transferred to one of the managers, where I had to go through the whole thing again. Now, I am having to drive 2 hours round trip to pick up an extended temporary tag, and they (Crain Kia) will not reimburse me for gas or anything. The buying process on the front end was easy, however the hoops I'm having to jump through, as well as the headaches involved in this process are not worth it at all. Out of the dozens of other dealerships in the central Arkansas area, I will pick another in the future.

If you decided to shop here, ask for Mallory!! I bought a used car here a month or two ago. It was a really hard car to find. But they had one used. Mallory was hilarious!! Only con, I was there all day(but I'm also a hard customer to work with), but mallory got the job done. and kept us plenty entertained during the boring stuff. This dealership “SOLD” my mom another car even though she had her previous car from them for less than eight months. She is so upside down right now. What makes this so sad is they were aware that she has dementia and Alzheimer’s! Anyone that talks to her would clearly see that she does not understand what she is doing or the effect it will have on her account. They took advantage of her! As soon as my dad told me she had left the house to go buy a new car we began calling the Kia dealership knowing that’s where she would be going. When we called we were told she wasn’t there and that no one had seen her. I then asked to talk to Danny the salesman that usually deals with her. We were told they tried to call his number but he didn’t answer. How convenient! About five minutes later my daughter calls me to say “guess what?” I Found out she had just left the Kia dealership and that she already got a car and had drove away. They would even tell me what kind of car they had sold her or the color. Sleazey Is all I have to say! Will never do business here!

Customer service department was really good until around January of this year and now their service has really gone down hill. I have owned 3 different Kia cars in the past 10 years and I have always received good until this year. The last 3 times I have taken my car in there has been issues. First time they did not wash my car with my oil change. Next time they again did not wash my car with the oil change and after leaving the dealership I discovered that someone in the service department had gotten into my trunk and used my tool for the locking nuts that Kia puts on the tires for my tire rotation, and left all the items I had stored in my trunk everywhere instead of putting them back. Plus they had kept my lock nut tool and just left the empty case in the trunk. I had to call them and drive back to the dealership to get my tool and they never even apologized. They just told me the service tech must have gotten busy and forgot to put it back. Then they gave me an old tool that was half stripped and claimed that it was mine, when my tool they took was brand new and had never been used and they should not have been digging through their customers trunk and leaving it a mess. Now today I went in for a safety recall, which I scheduled an appointment for, then had to wait for about 10 minuted before anyone ever appeared at the service desk. Then after telling the guy I had an appointment for a safety recall they replied "So you are hear for an oil change" and I said no and had to repeat why I was there only to be told they did not show a recall on my car and it must be for a different Kia I had owned. Then I show the guy the letter I received in the mail with the vin # that matched my current car. At this point I decided that I did not want a company that is so incompetent working on my car and will take it to a different Kia dealer to get the warranty work done and any future business I do with Kia will no longer be done thru Crain Kia. I will never in my life buy a car from this dealership again. They were all for whatever you need until you give them the money and then they don’t care per usual at sleazy dealerships. Part of my deal was they would fix the bumper a job that could be done in 1 day turned into two weeks ; was also suppose to have the car cleaned before I came to pick it up that ofcourse did not happen. Also found out the horn was broken and even though the car is still under bumper to bumper warranty they straight up refuse to fix it when I called. If you just have to go stay away from Salesman Rich , Manager Krista and even the District Manager Mr.Croft is the one who refused to fix my horn. My wife later showed me the sticker that someone at the dealership had folded up and put into the cars manual book. Once I saw the price I was outraged. We paid over 38,000 for this vehicle. They pressured my wife so bad we finally gave in, only to find the sticker was 36000. I would not advise anyone to buy from this Kia dealership. WORST experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I have a 2013 Honda Accord that I purchased in May. I been to the service center twice for them to check it because it had started hesitating and jerking when I press on the gas and brakes. Everytime I go up a small Hill or get ready to take off from sitting still the car jerks and acts like it does not have enough power. When I get ready to slow down and hit my brakes it jerks real bad. I have took it to you all twice and you all say you don't feel any of that when driving. That's impossible because my mother and brother drove my car and they felt the same thing. So I just don't see why they can't catch it at the service center. I wish I can drive it with someone in there and they drive while I'm in the car so they can see what I'm talking about. I'm still not satisfied because the problem has not been fixed and I will be up there again a 3rd time until someone tells me what's going on. This is my 3rd car I have purchased from you all & have always been pleased but right now I'm frustrated. I have warranty so I'm hoping you all are not delaying fixing the problem until my warranty wears off to where I have to pay more out of pocket would be so wrong of you guys.

I made an appointment to service my Kia Sportage that I purchased from there. Apparently the appointment was not made properly so I had to be "worked in". The workers made it sound like it was not an issue and that it might take up to an hour and a half. Four hours later a kind redheaded Kia employee noticed how long I had been waited and checked on the situation for me. The customer service was great, but I should not have had to wait for 4 hours, especially with no updates.

The last two times I've used Crain KIA Service Dept in Sherwood I had a scheduled appointment for a set time; neither time did they keep their appointment. In fact on one occassion I had to threatened to leave after waiting 2 hours, before they even decided to moved my vehicle into the service area... it was still in the parking lot. On both occasions their excuse was exactly the same "We had two service tech failed to show." If this is true then they need more dependable techs, and a manager that has control over the situation. A little communication with a customer upfront and not 2 hours later would help keep this type of review from happening. My time is just as valuable as theirs... maybe I should charge them for wasting my time!

I hate to have to revise my review but I feel totally blindsided after getting the finance papers. The vehicle I bought was a 2018 Kia Soul listed for $13,500. After getting the bill of sale in the mail I realized they charged me $16,000 for it. That's before any finance charges. I told them I wanted to pay cash and they talked me into financing. I called and was told that my trade wasn't worth enough to qualify for the listed price. At no point did anyone tell me the car I was buying cost $2,500 more than what I thought. I would have kept my trade and sold it privately for over twice as much as they gave me for it. My salesman was wonderful but I feel like I got screwed by financing. I called 3 times a day and it still took a week for someone to get back to me. I even called Krista the customer relations manager and never got a call back. Really disappointed by this whole experience.

I was told it may take up to 45 min to finish my car and they took my phone number and told me they would call me as soon as my vehicle was ready. 3 hours after i dropped off my car I called Crain Kia to see what the hold up was. There wasn't anyone available to check on my vehicle so the receptionist took my name and number and told me she would get back to me. 30 more min later i called back and they told me that my vehicle has been done for a while now. I at that point was not happy at all. I exclaimed this and all I received was an insincere apology. On top of all that they didn't even explain the multi-point check. I don't even have my tags for my vehicle yet and the paper that no one explained to me leads me to believe I need new air filters. I have not even received my title to the vehicle and now I need replacements. Ive learned to expect long wait and less than helpful people, but this experience has encouraged me to go out of my way to tell people about my continued dissatisfied experiences with Crain Kia of Sherwood, 5830 Warden Rd, Sherwood, AR 72120. Update as of 10/17/18 I called the Customer Relations Manager to discuss in further detail and get this taken care of. All they told we was they were sorry and hopefully it wouldn't happen again. Since the original review they sent me the wrong title, which took 3 months to get, so when trying to get my tags they sent me back to Crain Kia to get the correct title. If I never had to go back to Crain Kia I would be elated. I like how they try to make things look better on a post and pretty much do nothing about it in real life.

Happy with our purchase. The vehicle was fairly priced. The purchase process was poor. Took over 3 hours to buy the car. They were understaffed and had troubles with the car. We were a cash buyer. The battery went dead before we test drove the car (we didn't know this at the time) and later the next day after we bought the car. It left my pregnant wife stranded... Had to leave work pick her up, take her to work, etc. A big inconvenience they didn't seem to think was a big deal. They eventually put a new battery in the car. I said they should have fixed the battery when they knew it was an issue and during their thorough inspection, but they argued otherwise. We are also waiting for the map update requested during the sale. We'll see if we ever get it. Save yourself some headaches and buy your Kia at another dealership. Follow up... 10/17/18: We did receive our map update for the vehicle. I bumped the review up to 3 stars for them keeping their word. Thank you Krista for making it happen... Very professional and helpful!

My daughter found a SUV she liked and her hubby went to the dealership to negotiate the price and the salesman and manager asked where he got that price. Purchased a car from Crain Kia and it turned out that the car was recently hit and was repaired quickly. Damage to the rear of the vehicle wasn't reported so it didn't show up on the Carfax when I bought the car; I found out when I started to see paint bubbles two weeks later. A body shop showed me where it was quickly repaired and where the damaged occurred. Now that I know where the car was hit the bodywork is actually obvious now but it was easy for Crain to trick someone that didn't specialize in that field. When I called multiple people at Crain about this issue I was told that there was nothing they could do and they didn't have to disclose every detail about the car unless it was a safety hazard and if it was a safety hazard then by law they couldn't sell the car. Fair enough but at the same time I wouldn't have bought a car that had it's entire rear bumper missing at one point, needed bodywork and had to be repainted just to be sold. I honestly don't recommend this dealership if those are the lengths they would go through to make a profit off a pre-owned vehicle that was probably purchased at an auction. I could have went elsewhere and bought the same car for less with no damage history! Now I have to find a reputable place to do the bodywork correctly and get a decent paint job.

I have purchased four vehicles over the years from Crain Kia. The last vehicles I purchased were from Crain Kia of Sherwood. I purchased a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 truck and a 2017 Kia Soul from this branch. I want to share a wonderful story here. The day after I purchased the 2017 Kia Soul, my brother in law noticed a 3 inch scrap that was pressed into the metal on the top drivers side roof close to the windshield. I looked at it and my heart sank. I panicked because I knew that was not from my use of it. I thought, great, here is this flaw on my brand new car and how am I going to convince the dealer that I did not do this. I went back to them and explained the situation. They put my car in the body shop and repaired it good as new. At no charge to me. They even gave me a rental to use while I waited. "Now that was customer service". They could have told me no, and that would have been understandable but horrible for me. I had purchased a maintenance agreement with the car as I have done for every vehicle in the past. When time came to use it in hot springs, my local place I have my car maintenance performed at, decided they would no longer accept the vouchers. Driving an hour one way to get an oil change was too much for me. I originally had an issue getting the vouchers which took some time. After seeking out other local shops and finding none that would accept the vouchers, I decided to asked for a refund almost a year later. To make a long story short. Mr. David Croft and his team, went above and beyound to make things right. They had every legal right to tell me no due to the circumstances and amount of time that had passed. But they understood why it took me so long to ask for a refund and chose to make it right. I am very pleased and thankful. I plan on purchasing my vehicles from this company many more times in the future. I can honestly tell you that this company truly cares about their customers. They value honesty and righteousness and that is reflected in the service they offer.

We went Saturday to look at a car I had found online for my daughter. It was raining so they pulled the car into the service department so we were outta the the rain. The car was wet and we looked it over and test drove the car and liked it. We signed papers and waited while the car was detailed and filled with gas. When we returned to pick car up it was dried off and we looked over it again. We found 2 knots on the tire, big knots. We didn’t notice the knots when the tires were wet. The salesman went in to talk to the service manager and they would not make that tire good! They knew this was for a teenager to drive. My salesman Tim Walls was wonderful and agreed to pay out of his pocket for a new tire when he got paid. He could clearly see how dangerous this was. This is NOT his responsibility to have to do! The car was still filthy inside. Who ever cleans the cars did a horrible and lazy job! I recommend you asking for Tim if you do purchase there but I got the feeling Crain Kia sales manager was very selfish and didn’t care about the safety of their customers. I was very very disappointed in the mangers. If I would have had a blow out on the way home, my family could have been seriously hurt!
