We were on our way back from Texas to NJ. We stopped at Hope to fuel up and within 15 minutes into our journey the car started to loose power. I knew the problem immediately and went to the nearest dealer which happen to be Crain. We worked with the Fuel Company to have the problem corrected. The Svc Mgr. spoke to the person at the fuel company had the tank drained, replaced the fuel pump which had to overnight delivvered the parts all before the holiday rush. We were on our way in 24 hours. Crain is a good dealership. If we lived in Little Rock, I would buy a car just on the time and effort they gave us.

I had a problem with the transmission on my 2013 Genesis sedan. 3 trips to another dealership and they could not offer a permanent fix. After speaking with Hyundai USA customer service I took the car to Crain Hyundai on Colonel Glenn. My service adviser was Adam Bent. Unfortunately they had to keep the car 2 weeks but they provided me with a great loaner. They were able to record the faulty transmission activity send it off to their regional technical folks and got approval to replace the transmission under warranty! Adam kept me informed of all the activity along the way. Folks, you have a choice when it comes to Hyundai maintenance. The excellent way Adam and Crain Hyundai Little Rock treated me I have made that choice. You need to also!

Let me start by saying thank you. I learned a lot from my experience with you. I have many points I would love to share about my day, but in effort to keep things brief, I will hit the highlights. First, I loved the way we had to wait 20+ minutes for someone to help us look at a car. It was quite different than the other dealerships I visited that day where there was someone waiting for you by the door. Lovely. Next, I really appreciated that out of all the cars on your lot, you would only show me two. I guess it could be overwhelming to have to see all of the cars you would like. So nice. Also, both cars that you WOULD show me were both out of my price range by over 1K. Maybe you were just trying to expand my limitations. How considerate of you. I would also like to point out that out of the TWO cars you showed me one was a very bright red, while the other was a ridiculous shade of orange. Maybe if I did "go colorblind" like YOU SUGGESTED that I did, those colors would be appealing. Guess I won't know. Another fantastic aspect of my afternoon was when you tried to convince me that the ONE car I asked to see, I would absolutely hate it. You brought up the point that you are a dad to two daughters older than me (false. You told me your daughters ages and I am two years older than your eldest.) who both hate that model, and that I should too. Then you REFUSED to show me one, after listing all of the "bad" qualities. Very thoughtful of you. Lastly, I would love to take note of the way you treated me while I was there. The way you spoke down to me the entire time, as if I was a child, was just the best darn part of my day. I'm only 23 years old, so why WOULD you take me seriously? It wasn't as if I was trying to buy a car from you or anything. But you keep on treating people that way. Good for you. Now, like I said, THANK YOU. Thank you for leading me right across the street to find a very nice salesman AND the car I had asked you to show me. I am now a very proud new owner, thanks to you.

My complaint is that they sold a vehicle to my stepdaughter without a driver's license, insurance or job. These were all required by the dealership that sold me my Tucson. It seems like the sale was more important than anything else. I know she is too blame as well but I feel they either took advantage of or bent the rules for a naive young woman.

I admittedly got a decent deal, but after that -forget it. Once the ink was dry, rudeness and incompetence became the policy. A good dealer tries to sell you three or four cars over a couple of decades. These folks seem to have a short-term outlook and just want a quick sale. I suspect they treat their sales staff poorly too as both sales reps I worked with were gone within six months. High turnover does not instill confidence.

Mitsubishi. The absolute worst car on the market. The last mitsubishi I bought had 18 factory defects. Mitsubishi refused to take the car back. One defect the brakes locked up and I almost slide off a cliff. The last defect literally almost killed me. The motor locked up while I was driving down the highway. I was lucky I was not killed. Stay clear of all Mitsubishi dealerships. The cars are death traps in my opinion.

Crain +FORD+ had had a dismal ranking in the community for over a decade. I'd heard on the last year they were getting better (but this is Hyundai, notice) and we had a pretty nice time. The lady was knowledgeable and not pushy. My girlfriend ended up buying a car from there. We'll see how this goes over time - haven't talked to the automotive guys yet - but everybody else seems happy, including the customers.

My wife has gone to this dealership multiple times after getting her car there. Every single time we go there they say she needs an alignment, or new brakes or a new set of tires. They have broken, or not agreed to honor multiple agreements, such as headlight cracking when we purchased the car, fixing the breaks, the tires that are "bad" even though THEY REPLACED THEM several months before. In that last scenario they claimed that they won't replaced the brand new tires, because she "likely hit a pot hole, and messed up the alignment". They also constantly talk down to her. We are never going here again. Buyer beware. Update: My wife is trying to work with the dealer to resolve the issues. I will update with any resolutions that take place. Final Update: We weren't confident in the car after this incident, so we ended up selling it and getting a Nissan.

Everything people hate about car dealerships - Crain North seems slightly better - which is a shame since we're very happy with our Hyundai. They add a $1,200 mandatory "Crain Commitment" fee for a 100k mile powertrain warranty, even though Hyundai includes that already. They try to add A LOT to your interest rate, do check with your credit union or PenFed before going in. The turnover of their sales staff seems really bad, and after dealing with the manager, I can see why. On the plus side, the service department has been top notch. Data point for negotiating: Sticker was $33,500, they sold the new car for $26,500 on the last day of the month, after a week of progressively lower "it's the lowest we can go" phone calls.

The service department was clearly labeled, though it was a bit off-putting entering the Service Department door and finding myself in someone's office, who was on his phone. The waiting area is bright, though fairly small. There was free coffee and water plus a couple of vending machines. There were also a couple of desktop computers and free WiFi. The open floor plan is probably intended to encourage folks to wander through the sales displays and past sales staff desks. Though I was glad they weren't actively soliciting my business while I was there. The service writer greeted me when I pulled my car in, and was extremely positive and reassuring. Amazingly, they had my car ready exactly at the time I told them my ride would come if the car was going to take awhile. In this case, the repair was specially covered under a particular warranty so I don't have a sense for how expensive it might normally run.

I would have given this review one star. However, Crain Hyundai of Little Rock didn't disappoint me on there selection of cars and customer service. Our sales associate was very kind and not pushy, he let us test drive and inspect our choice of vehicle all we wanted. I believe this warranted at least an extra star and I recommend this dealership for reasons stated above. I also want to point out that I do not normally write bad reviews, you can look through my moderate size log of reviews and see it for yourself. I write bad reviews when I truly had a bad experience. My wife and I had carefully chosen a car that we liked, after much consideration. It was now the time to negotiate the price which included financing and a trade in of our existing car. This is where our experience ceased to be joyful. I understand the dealership has to make money, its a business after all. However, the sales team didn't even want to negotiate past there first offer, yes one offer and nothing else. I have been lucky enough to have purchased 2 new cars in the last 2 -3 years and lets just say I have never, not once, had this issue. On top of that, there offer was bogus. Before this sale went down, they singled my wife and I out and said "We really want to sell this car, we are willing to cut a good deal", yet they gave me one single bad offer? You see that doesn't add up. The sales team claimed that, "well the online price was really low and we don't know why". My wife has 6 years of sales experience and as for myself, I have 4 years. How can I put this nicely..... That is your fault Crain Hyundai of Little Rock, not mine. If there is one rule of sales that I would say a vast majority of every company follows, you can't blame the customer for your issue. Basically, they were trying to buy our trade in for a stupid low value to make up for the cost of there mistake. Which, we don't even know if that's true, thus far they have lied to me about the "we are ready to sale" statement. I am willing to admit it, maybe I am just your normal upset costumer because the deal I wanted was too good. If that is the case, then so be it and I admit to my stupidity. However, I do my research and I also know a few dealership owners here in Arkansas, minus Crain of course. I did get second opinions from reputable dealerships in Arkansas and they have all agreed that Crain, you did something funky with me. I am not going to point any fingers toward individuals, I am not upset. Truth is, if this is the game Crain is playing they will never sell that car. I do appreciate your time to the individual that let my wife and I test drive. I am sorry that both of our times were wasted. I guess I will take my business else where because even if I was to get a good deal. At this point it better be something I cannot resist. I am not dealing with a dealership that won't even negotiate.

After being overcharged on a new Tuscon's second oil change, which was remedied after calling corporate, the inept auto technician forgot to actually put the freaking oil in the car! Only 9k miles on what was a wonderful vehicle, now permanently ruined with engine lock and sitting at another dealer after having it towed with roadside assistance. Great job guys.

I bought a car from crain and the air conditioner does not work. I brought it back to them to fix. They did not repair it correctly and it is now costing me $3300 to fix it. They refused to help me in anyway now. Their lack of knowledge on flushing the AC before replacing the compressor has caused the entire AC to go bad. We will never buy a car from a Crain dealer again.

I drove through water and my engine ended up flooding, took it to Crain Hyundai of Little Rock (where I purchased it brand new a year ago) and they were to swap it out under warranty with a brand new motor. They later called me to inform me of interior damage and needed to replace the carpets. Long story short and 3 months later, I ended up with a rebuilt engine. Not what we discussed. Took the car home and found mold in the trunk, all over my subwoofer, back seat, and under the front seats. No new carpets. Also found a new shiny dent on the rear passenger door and scratches on the inside of that same door. Also a gouge into the metal on the drivers side door which will eventually rust. Cracked plastic down by the pedals where it looks like they attempted to take the carpet out. And the hood latch is broken so we are unable to assess the damage under the hood. And this is all just from what we can see with the naked eye. THANKS FOR NOTHING CRAIN. Insurance is now totaling my brand new 2015 elantra and i lost the 4000 down payment i put towards this car. Now starting fresh with nothing to pay down. Terrible experience and will never deal with them again. Will post pictures.

What a great sales team at Crain Hyundai, Little Rock on John Glenn. After having a horrendous experience with Crain, North Little Rock, I didn't know what to expect. AVOID NORTH LITTLE ROCK AT ALL COSTS From the moment we entered the door on John Glenn we were treated in the way you would want to be treated. DON'T SHOP AT ANY CRAIN DEALERSHIP! MY husband and i spent from Dec 2017 till March 2018 trying to purchase a Santa Fe in Dec we were told we owed a bit too much on out trade,so we said ok we'll pay it down,go back in March ,original salesman no longer works there, so sales manager Seth Wright pulls up our Dec info and says " Oh yes we still have that same SANTE FE here on the lot and yes your trade is in great shape to trade (keep in mind we have ONLY discussed a SANTA FE) So I keep telling them DONT RUN A CREDIT INQUIRY ON US TILL WE HAVE A DEAL, so after I'm assured all day on the phone that we are buying a 2018 Hyundai SANTA FE and the notes would be x and it is the SAME car we test drove in Dec, we agree to bring in trade sign paper work and have a new SANTA FE,we arrive at the dealership an they bring up a TUCSON we say no it's a SANTA FE we agreed on,fast forward we had been approved on a TUCSON because they said it was Better car for us (and much cheaper an smaller) THEN I call Steve Woods the general manager he basically calls us liars says only one bank would approve us at an enormous interest rate so we HAD to take a TUCSON,first we are in out 50s an 60s we've bought MANY cars we have EXCELLENT credit and income NEVER a late payment, so after lie after lie many attempts to treat us as senile we we went to Landers Ford in Benton and bought a loaded Ford Edge Titanium with very low interest and great trade in value,so THANK YOU CRAIN we are grateful to have not purchased from you,Seth Wright (sales manager) Kyle Beerbower(salesman) Sean Smith (salesman) you should all be ashamed for each of your role in trying to deceive us.UPDATE TO RESPONSE,SETH WRIGHT IS THE ONE WHO SAID HE HAD THE INFORMATION ON THE DECEMBER DISCUSSION,NOT ME, AND I WENT OVER EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE INTERESTED IN REPEATED TIMES,AND WE WERE APPROVED BY MULTIPLE LENDERS at LANDERS ALL AT LOW INTEREST RATES THE VERY NEXT DAY BY THE SAME LENDER THAT CRAIN SAID GAVE US A HIGH RATEUP UPDATE WE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW FULLY LOADED TITANIUM FORD EDGE AT LANDERS FORD AT 0 INTEREST DUE TO OUR EXCELLENT CREDIT,

Great Service, Great Employees! Joey and Adam are FANTASTIC people to work with. They always go out of their way to make sure I have a ride to work on time (because I have to be at work before the shuttle service begins). Rocky is always nice when picking me up from work to bring me back to my car. The only thing I would change is the Cashier. I don't know her name, but she was rude on the phone to me when booking my appointment, and when I came to pick up my car on my lunch break, she was counting money, and taking her time before she even asked me to sign paperwork or for my payment (which was a debit card) so there was no reason for her to be counting money or needing change at that particular time. If a customer is standing right in front of you, and they are in a hurry to get back to work, they should be the main priority.

The sales and finance team turned me from a 3rd time consecutive Crain customer into a first time Crain victim. Nothing in the contract reflected what the verbal agreement was. I was then rushed through the signing process without proper explanations of the contract. When I expressed the distraught and unease of the deal within 24 hours after signing they refused to work with me or stand behind the Crain Commitment or 100 hour love it or leave it policy. I am completely appalled by their gross mistreatment of a repeat customer.

I've purchased over 20 cars in my life and this is the SHADIEST car dealer I've EVER encountered. Let's start with at the point of purchase. My son walked in with his own financing prepared but they talked us into using their financing in exchange for a discount on the vehicle. At the time of signing, they increased the finance rate by .5% and said "we made a mistake, this is the best we can do." I flipped my lid and lost my mind on the finance manager who then literally threw my son's phone across the table and then crossed out the (made up) increased rate and put it back to what we negotiated. Next, my son takes possession of the (CERTIFIED) car and somehow, it's been trashed. It’s been trashed because it was a bait and switch! They listed a certified car and included lovely pics but when they presented the car after purchase, it was not the listed car. They acted like it was shocking and agreed to have it detailed and include certified paperwork. (Shouldn't this have been done Pre purchase?) Now, here we are 6 weeks post sale and my son has been up to the dealership FIVE times to tie up loose ends. Today, he sat in the waiting area for an hour and a half waiting on another set of temporary tags because we haven't received the paperwork to register the car (or the certified paperwork). We also haven't received the payment information and there is a payment due in August. My son mentioned that we need this ASAP and the finance manager told him to go back up there in 2 weeks if we don't have the info. THIS IS YOUR JOB, CRAIN!!!! My son leaves for college in a week and a half and he may possibly have to leave with an unregistered car AND his payment could be late. This is 1000% unacceptable and unbelievable. Not only has this experience been the literal worst, the people at Crain have also been the literal worst. I can not believe there isn't one decent human being in this dealership. UNREAL. 0 stars.
