Me and my boyfriend had our classic BMW totaled and had it towed and then picked up the next day by copart JUST for storage and appraisal. We realized we had a spare a couple days later and went and picked it up from the Conway location. When we got there we discovered that the workers there took it upon their self to RIP out our wiring for our extra USB port and LED’s we installed. They also damaged my front license plate frame, and cut my charm I had on my rear view mirror and threw it away. Our insurance confirmed it was only suppose to be their for storage and appraisal, and we were also gonna buy back the car once they claimed it totaled. So they were not suppose to do what they did. And when we confronted the people inside they immediately said they didn’t do it without asking the people who cleaned my car. They also blamed the tow truck company who only had the car for about a night because they picked up my car the next morning after the tow truck guy got it the afternoon before. However, the tow truck guy said no one was even in my car. So we’ve come to conclusion that copart was the only logical explanation for this. We also got stares while we were taking pictures as if they were guilty. Anyway, luckily we took pictures before the car was towed that showed everything being in there and no damage. We made a police report because it is considered vandalism, and the cop agreed. I have told multiple family members who say that they are never going through copart again, and we will never let them hold our car again either. I don’t know what we’re gonna do. We’re looking into making this a lawsuit and spreading the word about this horrible place of business.
