If you buy a car here, 1) Check the actual value of the car. They sold me a $4500 car (got it estimated) for $10k. Wish I would’ve done the research. 2) Get it inspected. 3 months into the payments, my starter went out and “wasn’t covered” under their warranty. So far (and I took it and got it inspected recently) my rotors are warped, both front lower control arms are shot, ball bearing shot, struts shot, my throttle position sensor shorted out, my driver side window regulator was missing the cap to keep the wiring in place and tangled up and thus having to replace that as well. Over all, $2500 of repairs have to be done to this car on top of the $600 I’ve already put in.

On top of that, they put it on my credit as a repossession. Which was a lie because they never repossessed my truck. They are liars and overcharging

The worst experience ever my cousin bought a 2003 dodge ram from this lot in April of last year she made her payments when she got the truck the service manager by the name of Tim stated to her that he was out of town when she bought the truck. The services manager Tim, drove her truck and knew it was a lemon and told her that she would either have to pay her bill and keep her contract or she could get it repossessed. Whitney kept her payments up the truck kept having dangerous issues and she almost had a wreck the struts were bad, the brakes were bad, the whole front wheel alignment was bad, the water pump was bad, the oil was bad, the radiator was bad, the transmission was bad they lied to her about a tire and a jack the carmart in arkadelphia, arkansas had to furnish her a tire. So on 2/27/2018 at approx 5:00 p.m. she found out that her truck was already in Benton arkansas and she didn't pay them her payment last week because the truck went out on her for the same issues that she went in for thanks to the good old superiors that they have at the lot by the name of Archie, and Steve and we do mean it sarcastically. Because she mentioned getting a lawyer because she have been going through this issue with her truck for almost a year and nothing has been done about it. They took her truck supposedly because she missed one payment of 150.00 But I heard Archie state that a lawyer is bad for business and so were going to take her truck. This is Whitney speaking I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR MART FOR A DOG. YOU WILL NEVER WIN PLAYING DIRTY AND IN LIFE JUST BECAUSE ITS NOT HAPPENING TO YOU NOW GOD WILL DEF, SHOW YOU WHO IS. PEOPLE FEAR A PERSON WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. THIS CAR LOT IS THE DEVIL IN SHEEPS CLOTHING AND THEY WILL GET THEIR DAY. I WHITNEY GIVE THIS PLACE A WHOLE HANDS DOWN BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY SOLD ME A LEMON ONLY THING THEY ARE GOING TO DO IS SELL THE TRUCK TO AN AUCTION AND THEYRE GOING TO WRITE OFF MY TRUCK BECAUSE ITS A WIN FOR THEM AND THEY HAVE NEVER TRIED TO REPO MY TRUCK BUT THEY KNEW THIS TRUCK WAS A LEMON THEYRE GOING TO MESS MY CREDIT UP. I PRAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON THESE EVIL PEOPLE. I PAID MY TRUCK NOTE I GOT SOLD A LEMON AND BEGGED THEM THE FIRST WEEK TO GIVE THEM THE TRUCK BACK. THEY TOOK MY TRUCK BACK BECAUSE I MENTIONED I WAS GETTING A LAWYER BECAUSE I RECORDED THEIR CONVERSATION WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER WITH HIM SAYING MY TRUCK WAS IN BAD SHAPE.

Went there today with money in hand expecting to buy a vehicle. I was told prior to arriving and while i was there they do not base their decision on credit. Come to find out, they lied. They took from 1030 in the morning til 400 in the afternoon to tell me they couldn't sale me a vehicle. I don't think they should tell people they aren't going to check and then do. I will never go back to them and I do not recommend anyone to go there.

Let me just start here, I’m a previous employee of Car-Mart and I always valued the cars that has been sold at this location. I went to Car-Mart last week and did my quick and full app. Without any hesitation everything was good and I was told to call back the next day by Faith to see if I’m eligible to get a car because I was a “previous” employee. I received a call back and was told I could and I can put $500 down to hold the vehicle I was interested in. Less than 30 minutes later, Faith called me back and told me Dennis misunderstood what she said and I have to put $1,000 to hold the vehicle and bring back $500 more when I get paid again to drive it away. I said fine I can do that. I went back to the lot on 7/3 to put my 1K down and I was told to call the next day because of what Dennis and Faith discussed once again, so today 7/5 I was told that I have to put 5K down on the vehicle because of previous credit and so that I can be under a 10K vehicle by the vehicle I was interested in being at 15K. NOT once was I told this! I do not appreciate my time being wasted and me being lied to as a potential customer and previous employee. I do know for a fact this is not how customers supposed to be treated. The experience is unprofessional and unorganized communication. I do not appreciate this!

I bought a Honda Civic LX here. It's a great car. Had no working speakers but I have installed some. The car is safe and in great condition although I had to deep clean the seats. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't clean or detail the cars better

The other day I went to car mart looking to make my first car purchase (every other car I’ve had until now has been given to me) and I was so nervous about the whole process. Thankfully miss Faith Cotton came to my rescue! Not only did Faith answer all of my questions, but she made sure that I had all of the knowledge I needed to make a confident decision! If you’re going to car-mart to look for a car, I highly recommend asking for my girl Faith! She was the sweetest employee I encountered while I was there and you can tell she loves her job and helping her customers in any way she can! I’ll definitely be going back for her help with any future purchases!

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!!! Got a vehicle October 2017 immediately had issues. Sent back for service and was told it was fixed. Then rain starting getting in my car messing with the wiring and lights, the car would not cut off even after keys out and battery unplugged. I sent it back, had to pay for repairs and it still was not fixed. I was told I was responsible for other repairs. Paid 600$ for repairs only for it to do the same thing. It is now almost October 2018 and I still ahve the same problems. No one cares nor or they willing to help. I was basically told I was losing my mind and there is nothing wrong with the car. At this point I'm fed up with them. I've tried to speak with management, no response. The only thing they care about is your payment. I could die in this vehicle and they still wouldn't care.

I purchased a vehicle on July 6th, 2018. My vehicle didn't have a spare tire nor jack. I was told to come back on Monday, July 8th. I came back on Monday, July 8th. I was then told by assistant manager Crystal, she would order me a spare tire. After two weeks, I hadn't heard from Crystal, so I decided to call back. Of course she wasn't in. I explained the issue and was transferred to Tim. Tim stated that he would give me a call the next day. Of course no call came. So I called back and asked for Tim. Tim told me he was still looking for a spare tire. I went up to car-mart on August 11th and was greeted by Virginia Berry, who had such a nasty attitude. I explained my issue to Virginia and asked to see Tim. She informed me, that Tim wasn't in. I asked for Crystal and she states, Crystal was working in Hot Springs . I then asked to speak to Dennis Johnson, the general manager. I was informed Dennis was busy and couldn't talk. I then was approached by Brittany, who introduced herself as one of the assistant managers. I informed her of the issue and was assured she'd give me a call on Tuesday, August 14th. She called, me on Wednesday and asked me had Tim called me. I informed her, he hadn't. I asked about my spare tire and ws again told, we're still looking for one. So today, I went up to car-mart. I again explained my issue to the front desk associate. She was extremely helpful(can't remember her name). I also informed her that, I have a nail in my tire and I have to go and purchase a new tire, but was still in need of my spare. I asked to speak with Dennis Johnson. She stated he's in his office having lunch. I'm sure he heard me speaking, because his office isn't that far from the entrance. He never once came out and acknowledged me. The front desk associate even went to his office and informed him, I have a nail in my tire and don't have a spare. Again, he didn't come out the office. I will never recommend this car-mart to anyone. I'm still without a spare tire.

Very unprofessional! Brittany from this carmart pulled up on me and my husband at a bank and cussed us out and my friends baby was in the car with us. I was in the process of getting some money to pay my note but decided it would be better if i did business with another dealership instead. I will take this confrontation to corporate. My husband also paid money last week and was repossed after paying money. They told him that it wouldn't be repossed in 25 days, but took it anyway. All i can say is the managing system there is the lowest i have seen and i wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Will be there to get my belongings and my money that was paid last week. Hopefully it is all there and untouched. I just found out my ipad has came up missing from the car so i am making a report with the police.

Very dishonest people. We went there looking for a car with a low down payment. We spoke with a Salesman about a particular car that he said would be there the very next day when we came back with a down payment. He did not give us any information about what we would need to bring or how long we had to be a resident or anything like that. So we go back the next day with a down payment and speak with a different salesman who begins to tell us that they had gotten rid of that car the day before that and that we had to have all this proof of residency and we couldn't get approved for the low down payment or anything so the first salesman comes back and Trust cover that lie. I will not buy another vehicle from car mart ever again the van I bought was junk. Car mart wouldn't fix the the repairs that needed to be done and the van was under warranty and the parts was warranty parts I had to fix. Customer service was bad. Lady at front counter was always rude even with my kid's. I'm still paying on the repair bill to that van. And the van is paid off and that's really sad when the repair bill cost as much as the vehicle. I will stay with the Chevrolet house in Jacksonville at least they are friendly and honor there warranty on the vehicle. I dont recommend anyone to car mart.

DON’T GO TO AMERICA’S CAR-MART MAINLY THE ONE IN SHERWOOD the FIRST CAR I GOT FROM THEM WAS A 2009 nissan maxima about 4 days later the front bumper fell off it was glued on and looked like it’s been wrecked ( I have pictures) now THEY PUT ME IN A 2013 Malibu now 4 months later the Malibu is NOT KEEPING OIL IN IT AND ALOT MORE STUFF I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM FOR 2 WEEKS NOW THEY FINALLY PICK UP MY CAR UP Wednesday WHICH HE TOLD ME THEY WOULD MONDAY AND ITS BEEN 3 days haven’t heard a thing FROM THEM

The van I looked at was over priced, and half of the features didn't work. On top of the double charge for what the van was worth the monthly payments were very extreme. In the end it was a good experience as far as letting me know what I should really do and where to invest my money in, not car mart or some where like this.
