The truck i have ( still do) is crappy. I had it 2 years the motor went out 3 days the first time, now it's going out again. They put a junk motor in which i only put a total of 10k miles if that in 2 years on the vehicle. My heater/AC is out, ball joints need replacing. I should of listened to my wife and mom, they harass you VERY bad if your late. I will NEVER get another vehicle from them, they're lemon dealers and Con artists.

DO NOT go here. I went here on a Saturday and mistakenly bought an Impala here. When I got home I had a chance to read the paperwork (the girl rushed me through it and would not let me view "the video"). I never bought a car in Arkansas b4 and didn't know that I had to pay all of the taxes on it up front. On Monday I went back in and saw the business manager. I told her that I couldn't afford $600 to get my tags and that if they couldn't help me, I'd like to just give the car back. She came across the desk at me and said that if I did that, they would treat it as a repo and sue me. Sue enough, they repoed it, sold it to another buy here pay here place for $1000 (a $7000 car, according to them), and are suing me for the rest of it. You have been warned.

Ft.Smith Car mart is so awesome! They have been so wonderful to us. Alway there to help us no matter what. We have between myself and my son Chris Ford have perched over the year's 7 cars and truck's. And always been satisfied. All the employees their are very kind and helpful. The experience me and my future husband had was terrible. We went ahead and got a car ther but not the one we wanted. They got me so excited like i was goinng to be able to get an 2011eclipse and then shot us down like we were not able to afford it after we had are minds set on it. And then put us in a 2004 impala. Im upset because they said they could take the 252.00 down for the eclipse and then when we got down to pay them oh no they wanted more money for down. Its not right to get peoples hopes up and then shoot them down like there moneys not good enough. We work just as hard as anyone else and if we wouldnt of needed another car we would have took our money else were. So becareful never getvur hopes up at the cartmart im fort smith because they will get ur hopes up and then knock u back down again.

We have been paying on our Mazda since February of 2017 and I’m very happy overall. Our Mazda has never had any issues. Everyone is very friendly and they have always been willing to work with us anytime something has came up financially. I would definitely recommend car mart on Towson in fort smith!!! ❤️

Did I pay a little more for it? Sure...but was my credit in the the toilet? Very much so!! I now have an awesome car and a helpful dealership!! Thanks, Car Mart!!

Last year in May 2016 I called ahead 3 days before I left my job in Dallas TX to come and make the final payments I owed roughly 400-500$ on my 02 Chevy Tahoe. I got to the lot and was trying to work out a deal and trade in the Tahoe toward a 05 Chevy Avalanche with less miles. The manager called the local police and had me arrested for trespassing and repossed my Tahoe. I have paid over 17,000.00$ on the vehicle over the 3 1/2 years I was financed for the original amount of just under 14,000.00$ ...asking price was 10,999.00$. While I was apprehended by law enforcement and unable to go up to the lot and work out paying off my vehicle they informed me that the vehicle was sent to auction and everything I owned that was in the vehicle...clothes..tools...gear...every thing got thrown away. Please tell me that is not good for business.... Thanks a lot Cat-Mart!

The manager Jami kept an attitude with myself and my husband. He asked a question and she got rude. I called up their and she kept and attitude with me the whole time on the phone. She does not seem to want to help customers with anything. Very rude and distasteful. Will not buy a car from this location.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had. When I asked how many owners the car previously had, they replied saying "we have no way of knowing that". I was thinking to myself, have you ever heard of CarFax? They rushed us through the "contract", saying the car would be only $170 every two weeks, or $340 a month. First thing, I've never even heard of paying a car payment more than once a month. Then the money we put down suddenly disappeared and they said there was no record of it. We go to make our first payment and they want $569 dollars, when we were told it'd be $170. The payments just got higher and higher and spiraled out of control, until they were wanting $310 every two weeks or $620 a month, mind you for a damn FOURTEEN year old Chevy Monte Carlo w/ no air. Hell I've never even paid over $600 a month for a NEW car, much less for a fourteen year old Chevy w/ bad shocks, no air, and bad alignment. The manager or whatever he was, Steve, was a complete prick who acted like he was doing us a huge favor and would say things like "you knew what you were getting into". He was rude and and tried to intimidate us, I just let them take the car back because I'll be damned if I pay the ridiculous amount they were asking for that old of a car. This place is predatory lending at it's worst, nothing but lemon dealers and scam artists. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Their vehicles are fine for the first give or take 6 months. After that all the spray paint and double sided tape stops working and bam! You have yourself a vehicle right off the wholesale line. Thanks carmart I loved paying 375 for a 2004 chevy silverado with 145,000 miles on it. Oh wait it was 475 wasn't it due to the fact I changed jobs so you just decide to charge another hundred per month. Don't buy here. Walk or take a bus till you can buy elsewhere.

I have not ever had any issues with Car Mart of Fort Smith. I pay my bill on time and if I have an issue I call before hand to work out something. It's that simple. Even when I have issues with a car they fix it no matter what. If the part is not covered they fix it and tack it on to my bill and I pay it back. So regardless I'm winning and they are winning. If you pay your bill and show respect they will treat you with respect. It's that simple. Been with them for almost 8 to 10 years can't remember exactly and I have yet to have any sort of problems. (Of course I do miss the other Head Mechanic) but that's just my opinion. So, pay your bill, and get more.

TY FERGUSON is the most AWESOMEST, FRIENDLY and very HELPFUL sales associate. I just now got me a 2013 GMC TERRAIN and I love it. Everyone at Towson Ave car-mart are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend buying a car there. DO NOT go to Poteau they were mean and almost made me cry. So go see TY cuz he's a super nice guy!

They'll negotiate payment options OCCASIONALLY to help in UNDERSTANDABLE financial hardships. They make it clear they'd rather you pay off your vehicle than have it repossessed. Do not go here to get a car. These ppl are unbelievable, 1st the salesman tells me they do oil changes and tune-up if the vehicle needs it. Not true when I was talking to their mechanic b4 he got fired he told me that he would get a tune-up done on it because he knew there wasn't one done Because it was missing. i have done nothing but had my Ford Explorer in the shop THEY DONT DO THEIR PART but they want you to pay your payment and do your part. I didn't even get to drive it the 72 hours to see if I liked it b4 I had it back at the car lot with the transmission slipping 12 days later I get it back right before my second payment is do. Now it's back there transmission still slipping Yes I stop making my payments because if their not going to do their I'm not either. PLEASE PPL DO NOT GO TO THIS carlot to get a car I now wish I read all the comments about car Mart b4 getting one.
