It's an ok place if your out of high school learning to pay bills. But if your an adult it can be the most inconvent experience you can have. Save a few bucks and go get a new car so much easier to deal with and they will approve even crappy credit. Most of the people are freindly and will work with you but they will pester you as bad as an rent to own company not cool at all. Bottom line look into a new vehicle or a lot that sales new and used and save some headache and a lot of money.

Vehicles tend to brake down shortly after purchase. And they won't fix it most of the time. They are quick to take advantage of you if your a new buyer. I do not recommend buying a car here.

Worst people ever to deal with the manager is the worst. When the vehicle has an issue and you need the help they have ypu take it to faithful auto which is a no good shop don't ever take it there they have no clue what they are doing. The vehicle will be lucky to last a year. I had to go to other car marts to pay my bill due to the fact they are so rude. They only care about money the second you are down they take it out your yard ruin your grass and run stuff over. Brad Wilson is the worst manager I have ever met in my life once they ruin your yard and damage your stuff he will call you and tell you how you was wrong and he wasn't.

I am giving this people 1 star because I have to but if i would have the choice they don't deserve not even 1 star. This people only care about collecting money and they hate to have one of their customers to have their vehicle mechanical issues. The first thing you will have to do is to take it to an outside mechanic or to the dealership and have you spent your own money before they can pay for any repairs, it is crazy to pay them a 19,000.00 thousand dollar car and they can't pay to have the module replaced all you will hear from them is ( is not covered) but i also have a sensor inside of the transmission and they don't want to have it replace i wonder why or maybe they are to ignorants to understand that issue. The mechanic is an idiot doesn't know what the diference is between a module and a sensor inside the transmission. Why is he the "service manager" for? Come on people. Communicate this issue to your manager as well you guys should know better that transmissions are covered. Dont be so ignorants and try to ignore that problem my car is having so far is NOT only the module there's a sensor in the transmission too. People when you purchased a car from car mart in fayetteville try to drive it as much as you can or they won't fix it. No matter how much you love that car your driving is something they care less about it when it comes to have an issue fix. Just becarefull the assistant manager doesn't treat customers well at all. Behind he's manager he's pure evil. Infront of he's managet he will treat you with so much respect. Dont believe in that face my mother in law got so sick with her pressure thanks to the show he came yo give at my own property.

This specific Carmart and Asst Manager take advantage of, mislead and sell horrible quality automobiles. They tell you that you have 72 hours to bring a car back, but when the car broke down the very first day, they told us too bad. They said they would finance the repair, so they must think their consumers have zero financial smarts. Go somewhere, anywhere else. They really deserve a Negative STAR rating.

I got a sportcar from car mart in Fayetteville M.L.K AR, back in February 2018. I never had a problem till the a.c. compressor almost came off in December.i went to a local mechanic for a quote for repair, the price they gave was $2047.00. I then went to car mart talked with Mike if they can help me with a better price. He give me a call later on and said they can have it fix for $280.00 and on top of that Gwen help me with resetting my payment that fit my budget plan. This place is a five star and friendly staff. Oh once again Car mart is screwing someone who doesn't make a lot or have a lot. So let's review here, I've had my car since June of 2018, it is now almost December 2018. Just short of 7 months maybe or right at it. Bought the vehicle myself saved up for it and put a good chunk down on it. I went to this car mart because they have always worked with me on past things. Well, I bought a 2004 chevy trailblazer for just under $10,000. Let's just say that it has been in the shop more than I have driven it. It was in the shop not 2 weeks after I bought it, fuel pump issues. Not a big deal I thought because I'm buying a used car yes. Well got it back, it had to go back to the shop because it wasn't done right the first time come to find out. So then got it back again, still was having issues with it, note all this time of this vehicle being in and out of the shop, there is this crazy gasoline smell coming from my vents into the cab,everybody is getting headaches from being in it and me being the sole driver of it always having headaches from driving it. Told car mart about it and again here it went to the shop for another issue. So this time it is at the shop for 3 weeks with nothing done to it because the shop and car mart having issues with each other, not my problem at all. So fast forward, I got it back from the shop about 2 weeks ago, now all this time and while the car is still seating on their car lot waiting to be sold, THERE IS A RECALL ON THE FUEL TANK WHICH IF NOT FIXED IT WILL BLOW UP BECAUSE THERE IS A LEAK ON TOP OF THE TANK WHICH IS LEAKING GAS ONTO THE CONVERTER THAT HEATS UP AND POW YOU ARE BLOWN TO BITS. Now this explains why I drain gas when I try to fill my tank up, which I dont do anymore. So, Now my car is now parked at car mart because I don't feel like paying a crazy amount for a car that is going to kill me and my family when we are out and about . So I gave the keys to car mart Thanksgiving week Monday to be exact, they told me to take it to the shop and get paperwork stating that it was unsafe to be driven. So I did that, I went to Chevy in Bentonville, where they found it unsafe to drive due to potential explosion. Went to Midas in Fayetteville for a 2nd opinion, found the same thing as well. Gave those to car mart and they said they had to talk to corporate and see what they can do about it. Got the call the call today stating I needed to pay $400.00 because the gas tank isn't covered but I could get it at their discounted cost to make it cheaper. First off, no car lot can sell a car to anyone with an open recall on it. Secondly, on top of my payments already to them, I have already paid for the last hundred times it was in the shop. I'm done being screwed on this car and now that push has come to shove with this, I am getting a lawyer and we will be done with this matter once and for all. Who cares about building credit when you keep getting screwed on what you are paying for? Thanks CarMart!

Do not set up auto-payment with these guys. Even if they tell you they will pull out on specific days, they may just decide to start taking it out early, with no heads up. Set up auto-payments. Was told that everything would always pull out on the same day (unless that day fell on a weekend.) This month that day happened to be a Tuesday, but they decided it would be ok to go ahead and pull out a day early. Not a big deal, unless it is a CAR PAYMENT and you don't get paid until the agreed upon day. And if you try to dispute it, they will just call you a liar and act like this deal was never made. Always trying to cover their own ass, even if they are in the wrong. Will never do business with these people again.

2 weeks ago this I purchased a car from car mart. I had already paid one off 8 years ago thru them and used as a trade in..Now., the only reason I went back is because then,, every one was so nice. With that being said,, yesterday when I got off work, my car was gone..I called police due to me thinking it was stolen.. Come to find out, car mart took it while I was in work..My first payment wasn't due till the next day.. I'm in hysterics, scared, confused..Now,,get this,,the reason they took it was because they said that they couldn't get ahold of me..I'm a nurse, work sometimes up to ten hours a day,,when I get off, I go to my daughters house who has multiple sclerosis to help her out, then go home...When I got to car mart, Brad the manager,, was extremely disrespectful, rude, and hateful..Never once did he say he was sorry while I was crying.. He just kept saying I didn't communicate with him and why did I not check my calls.I checked my phone later when I got home,,he called me the day before and that day,,, thats it..I explained kindly to him,,Brad, I'm in procedures all day because I'm a nurse ..He was so uncompassionate..I can't express this enough ,, please do not use Car Mart on MLK in Fayetteville AR..Brad the manager is extremely cold and disrespectful..If you don't answer his call immediatly, they will come get your car just because of that..I have never been treated so badly in my whole life..Now, I have to live in fear that if I don't answer phone when he calls my car will get taken...Please don't go there.

I purchased a car at the beginning of September and I was informed then that I would need a 24 hour notice to pick up my title in order to tag my vehicle, well stupid me forgot and I showed up to get my title and the lovely lady in the office with red hair(I believe her name was Joy) was so understanding and friendly. She was very busy and had numerous customers but she told me if I didn't mind waiting for a little bit she would be more than happy to get my title work ready so that I could go tag my car. She did just that! Amongest waiting on all the customers she had and having to get all my stuff together she never lost the smile on her face and continued to joke with all the other customers who came in while I was there waiting. I was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism and attitude because I don't know if I would have been able to keep it together enough to keep a smile on my face. I will make sure I tell all my friends and family what a GREAT experience I had at Car-Mart and with this lovely lady.

Paid over book value for a car thats having issues before I even have the title! Car mart referred me to one of their shops to have it diagnosed and said shop wont even answer the phone! Definitely not happy to be having issues on a $7200 car not even 3k miles into my ownership. Will not return

I came in to buy a much needed second vehicle to use for my work vehicle and had a good experience. Our sales guy Matt did a really good job selling me on my new Chevy and then a young lady with long brown hair, I believe her name was Wendy came in and saved my day. I was not informed that I must have full coverage insurance before I drove off the lot and it was after 6pm and my insurance company was closed. I was ready to walk out and just forget the deal but this young lady came in and was joking and made me feel at ease and gave me other options for insurance companies. She helped my wife with all the information we needed and we got insurance pretty quickly and easily. This young lady made my experience go from really bad to an amazing one and I will definitely be referring people to Carmart of Fayetteville to do business in the future.

Ok I've read so many reviews on here and can't help but laugh. They help out in tough situations? Yes they do. They work with you? Yes they do. But take it from a guy that breaks his back to make it paycheck to paycheck. I bought a 2002 Ford Explorer SportTrac here for over $11000 at $390 a month. Not affordable at all. After financing and all that good junk I will pay almost $15000. I've done a bunch of research on this vehicle. When they sold it to me it was worth $2875 and now $2475. I went to change the brakes and come to find out, the rear end has been rebuilt. It took me a week to find the right brakes because it has a Mazda rear end in it. Now I go to change the spark plugs and the engine coil is just dangling there. They don't care if you are on the side of the road. They just want triple what a vehicle is worth. I understand making money on a vehicle but selling people junk for $10000-$15000 is just wrong. Watch what you buy and where you buy it. Will never buy from them again.
