Was a Carmart customer since 1998, have had 8 cars with them. The last two I had was back in 2016. I paid off one and was still paying on the other. Went to a Chevy dealership and they ran my credit and the vehicle I had paid off the previous year was NOT on my credit like I was told by TWO salesman at the Benton store told me that CARMART reports to the credit bureaus. I got approved for a 2015 Chevy for nothing down, and $10 less a month than my current Carmart payment so I took that car back to Carmart and left it with them...Guess what, THATS ON MY CREDIT REPORT, NOT THE OTHER CARS I HAVE PAID OFF, BUT THE ONE I TOOK BACK DUE TO THEIR LIES!! If your gonna lie to your customers, then your no better that the slimeball used car salesmen that you badmouth

I have bought 4 cars from them, the one I have currently broke down, they were so courteous and offered to have it repaired and then pay them back along with my car note. I was so surprised, I was in tears because I had no money to repair it and it cost 2,030.00. I may buy 1 more car and it will be from Carmart in Benton. Very nice, caring people.

Quailty of these cars is way under standard. Junk cars, with junk parts. These cars were put together at junk yards, bought as scrap and put back together. If it breaks and you use their warranty program, the parts you get are from a little rock junk yard. Theres a reason they will finance anyone, the money you put down is what they paid for the car. There are a ton of better buy here pay here lots in Arkansas. Do title searchs, car fax search before you buy!! Just some advice from a previous employee who found out the truth!!

Service is okay, but I was sold a car that already had something wrong with it that Car mart associates didn’t bother telling me, and they didn’t clean the car out good before selling it to me because I found a bag full of trash and candy in the backseat cupholder along with melted candy stained to the seat.

Every person you talk to will tell you something different. Typical car dealership. Don't trust anything they say. Nickel and dime. Not your friends, buyer beware. Further you get into paying off your car, the more they hassle you. Should probably be investigated. Oh and if they say they're going to do something or going to fix something at a future point, BULLCRAP! They just want you to sign and get out. A lot of reviews reflect this. Make them put everything, and I mean everything in your contract or they will pull corrupt business practices and act like it never happened. Or just don't do business with them. Their mechanic posted a few spots down. Hope they retaliate for this review. My lawyer is waiting.

Account representative Kathy called me to get a reference on a potential customer. She was polite with the first few reference questions asking things such as how long had I known them and such. Then she proceeded to get rude and ask with a very rude tone “ Can you think of any reason at all that we shouldn’t sell to them?” . I politely answered no and she asked again very rudely. She was very unprofessional and seemed judgmental. With an attitude like that she should not be dealing with the general public.

The Benton Carmart in the beginning will tell you what you want to hear then you sign papers and the attitudes change. I do feel like they have a few rude people in their office that do not try to help when situations come up in a customers life. They have been rude and hateful not only on the phone but to the customers face . When a customer is told they are able to help them out with their payment plan and then when they get to the office they say oh that person was just filling in they shouldn’t of told you that, that is not right and this is happened more than once. I’m sure this will be reviewed and will not be posted but at least someone at the Benton car mart will have read this. And when it’s not posted I will just go to the owner of CarMart.

One of the employees, Leah/Lee, however she spells her name is unbelievably rude. One of the worst customer experiences with her. Not only was she hateful to my daughter when she took her car in to get fixed, she was worse when we came to pick it up. I refuse to deal with her from now on. Workers should never be rude or awful to the customers. I am sure she is extremely rude to everyone since this was our first and will be our last time working with her.

Let me start off by saying that Wisker is a great dude to deal with and he tried his best to help us out and I do appreciate him for that and he deserves a raise. The other guy however is the reason I am going to another location that is about 2.5 to 3 hours (165 miles) away. On another note if someone is looking at a 2011 Chevrolet with 3rd row don't try to sell them a 2004 Hyundai w/o 3rd row and more miles. That's a 7yr, 2 seat, more miles, and whole manufacturer difference. That's just not good business. Also they will sell you a car with mismatched wheels and tire sizes like the red HHR they recently sold...I have the rest of the wheels and seen the car yesterday in town lmao

I got a pretty good car here. 2010 honda accord and its pretty sweet. All except they sold me the car with almost bald tires. But i guess i should have checked that myself. So check the tires with a penny before you drive it home!

Very dishonest on pricing and negotiation. We originally bought a 2013 Chrysler 200 the list price was a little over 7k drive it a week and the head gasket was blown. The heat didn’t work when we left the lot so that was a red flag to begging with. They took the car back and offered to put us in any car of our choice never stating that the price would differ. After almost three hours we left with another car but the price jumped almost 4K. Which at the time we thought was fine being that the car was really nice or so we thought. Within 4 months the ac went out had to replace the whole ac system due to metal shavings in the lines from a failed compressor (didn’t work when we got the car they said they would have it fixed but never called me back or would always put me on hold for all repairs needed) the engine mount was blown when we got to and I also fixed that. They refused to put new tires on the car even though they were dry rotted and almost slick. The radiator leaked which is the only repair they done. Trying to return the car after I’ve fixed EVERYTHING wrong with the car it has ZERO issues and they are refusing to make it look any better on my credit. Not to mention the car books for 7k in PERFECT condition and we are being charged almost 12k. I’ve been a Mechanic at a local shop that worked on their cars and let me tell ya. Some of the stuff they fixed verses let go was unbelievable. Loose front end components that were looked over to have a/c fixed instead. Bald tires left on the vehicle so that spark plugs could be changed. So on and so forth. Being the one that worked on these cars and saw what they let these customers drive out of here in dangerously was very unprofessional. The lady I spoke with today was very rude and had very poor customer service. I asked to speak with the general manager and like any other time he’s too busy to deal with a customer. I had to put one star because zero stars isn’t an option. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I probably won’t buy another car from car-mart. The vehicle I got was great for about a week or two. Within the first month I’ve had to have the transmission and radiator replaced. Now I’ve had it for just over a year and now It needs a new engine, ac compressor. I spoke to the people here and was told they found a USed engine that had about 150,000 miles on it for $1,500, but would have to find someone to put it in for me which will cost me more money. I’m a single mom I have to have a reliable vehicle. I can’t even have health insurance because having to put money into this vehicle and still have another year of paying for it.

They have cars there that are not serviced before they place them up for sale. A Dodge Fusion was purchase and we were not informed about the recall on the wheel bearings for the make and year, customer researched on their own. Also you don't receive refunds if you change your mind about purchase!

Kyle and Wisker had excellent customer skills, was very knowledgeable about the cars they sell you and answer any and all questions or concerns you may have. They treat you as if they have known you for years and go way above and beyond to help you out no matter how much time it takes to get you in a vehicle that you are highly satisfied with.
