I showed up after finding a vehicle that I liked on the web. I had recently totaled my car and thought I needed a new one. Walking into the building I thought I'd find a pushy sales person more likely to tell me a lie than not. What I found was a family business with wonderful, friendly staff. I didn't leave with a car but a piece of truth and encouragement that I desperately needed. If you need a vehicle and are looking for honesty and good customer service I definitely recommend these guys!! :)

Make sure you Kelley Blue Book the value of the car before you buy it. I was a first time buyer and they screwed me, hard. Overcharged almost $7,000 more than the car was worth and now I'm stuck with it. My fault for being naive, yes but, they could have givin me a better experience and actually let me know what I was getting into instead of sticking me with horrible payments for 5 years for a car that I was wayyyyyy overcharged for. First thing that I ever put my name on and first thing to ever go on my credit... Thanks guys, y'all suck.

While the dealership and all of the people there were very helpful and friendly and got me a great deal on financing, beware of the hidden things. I'll explain: I had been searching for a specific limited production model of car that is relatively difficult to find in this area. I had initially found one at BMW of Little Rock and test drove it but it had roof damage that consisted of a deep gash with rust, and also a cracked windshield. BMW of LR told me that they received the car as a trade-in and intended to send the car to auction, and did not plan to repair the car. Fast forward 2 months and I find another car nearly identical at Bill Fitts but it had no damage. With my slight knowledge of bodywork I looked the car over and couldn't tell if any recent bodywork had been done. They provided me an "autocheck" report that did not indicate it had been on another dealerships lot, been auctioned recently, or had bodywork. I liked the car and felt comfortable buying it, also got it for about $4000 under retail. A few days later I opened the glove box to find paperwork from BMW of LR indicating the car had been on their lot at the time I had test driven the "other" car. I immediately called Fitts Auto and explained the situation and advised them that I wanted to know who had done the bodywork and how the repairs were done. They said they would look into it and call me back but never returned any calls. Here we are 2 years later and the paint is peeling off the roof of my car and the shoddy bondo work is showing through. Long story short, Bill Fitts buys damaged cars, slaps shoddy body work on them and turns them for a profit. Buyer beware. Update 1/15/2014: I just got an estimate to repair the shoddy body work and it's going to cost me over $1700. In the words of the body shop that looked at my car "They really boogered it up".

They know how to treat people right and helped me in an impossible situation, before you think you have no other options talk to the folks at Bill Fitts, before you buy from another place go to Bill Fitts. Business discriminates against people who have student loans even if they are paying for them. I called to check on a vehicle. My credit was ran, it was ok, but the lady told me that because I have student loans that will keep me from getting a good down payment. It doesnt matter that I make decent money and so does my wife, its that my student loans are $40,000. She even said, I see you are current and making payments. I have been paying on them and sorry for going to school and getting a Masters degree to better my life. If she knew anything, she would know that student loans can be paid off from 10-25 years. Its not like they have to be paid today. Please stay away from this place if you are student and have loans because they discriminate on people with educational loans and will hit you with a high down payment!!!! --Update: So after looking around I checked with another car dealership Northpoint and guess what they had no problem financing me a vehicle. Less money down, vehicle below bluebook value, interest rate lower than they offer and student loans are not a problem. Also, after vehicle purchase I even bought a house. Its funny how a in-house finance company wont get you a vehicle but a more known car company can. Stay away from these clowns if you have any other options. If your credit is horrible well make it better before you go to them, try somewhere else...

If you have just a little money for a down payment, they will make a deal with you! They will finance just about anyone, as they do in house financing! These clowns obviously own a body shop somewhere. Although their dealership has grown exponentially over the past few years i went last week to view a specific vehicle and it had the entire left side repainted! I asked the salesman if he could see the difference between the old paint and the new and he said he could not and "it didn't make a difference", because the truck was a good deal. Really? It only has 120K miles on it and it's a 4 year old base model for sale for as much as a top of the line model. Then he went on about how he could get me a good deal on "in house financing" at 12%....so i asked if they would take less if i paid cash? NO! That's OK, i don't want a used truck from you folks. Then i looked around and most of the vehicles i saw there had some kind of bodywork or fresh paint on them. Buyer Beware at Bill Fitts.....no car inspection in AR means they will take your money and sell you anything!

I did a deal with them a few months back. Everything started out PERFECTLY! Marco even advised me that he will get me a second set of tags, since I had to pay $1000.00 more than we originally agreed to. Deal!!! That’ll give me time to keep up with the car payments & insurance since my fiancé and I just dropped $3000.00. When my tags expired, I called Marco for my second set. He advised me he didn’t think he could do it and to let him call me right back w/an answer. That was over 2 weeks ago lol I didn’t press the issue, because the woman Teresa gave me a couple extra days to pay my insurance that next month! I got paid that Friday. Well an old coworker/friend of mine text me out the blue not too long ago and was apologizing. I asked why, what happened? He said his wife said she seen me at Fitts making a purchase with your fiancé. She’s upset because we’re still friends! (Yes we used to flirt, but nothing major. We’re not each other’s type in real life) I said, who was your wife? He responded Lizzy! The receptionist! I said does she know it was nothing? We flirted before y’all started dating and that I would never do ANY woman like that, because I have a fiancé myself? He advised me he told her this, but she still doesn’t like me & that she made a Facebook post about me. (Yes he sent it to me) I just blocked him. Don’t need that negativity in my life and this should solve the problem. (Good friends, but not worth our marriage to continue friendship) Anywho, I say this to say... they’ve been rude to me every since!! Since I wasn’t able to get my second set of tags, I fell behind on insurance, however I advised them I get paid Friday, and will not drive the vehicle. (Theresa allowed this once before) This Time she was rude while I was explaining to her that the payments are on auto draft and should have been taken. I get paid on Friday and can pay then, however all bills have just been paid, due to being the beginning of the month. She told me no, and that she’d have to issue me for repo if I didn’t bring the car back until Friday. I advised her I had no way of getting back home. (At this point I’m on the phone with Stephanie.. Theresa advised me she’ll get me over to the owner and I can explain to them) She advised me that wasn’t her problem! Wow lol okay. So I tell her that I’ll bring the car, but if my 4 yo daughter and I have to walk back from Stagecoach, I’m going to write a nasty review on how they treat their customers.. she tells me “that’s fine, I’ll just tell everyone that you didn’t have insurance”... lol wow (again) just go to someone else, ANYONE else! Customer service is terrible and they’re one messy business! I had the BEST service from them until Lizzy went insecure in the mind. It could just be me considering... but as a business, everyone knows GREAT customer service is key! Regardless of a coworkers emotions.

Elizabeth Even I am Confused Sometimes

DO NOT buy from these crooks. My fiance, a member of the military, was driving to work & hydroplaned into a tree. His car caught fire & he was very lucky to not have been injured. As you can probably guess, his car was totaled. We have very good friends who bought a car from Bill Fitts Auto & they recommended we go there because they had a good experience. My fiance wanted a stick shift, we gave them our price range for a payment, & immediately their salesmen, Montrell, started talking about a 2007 Jeep Compass that was great. He offered it to us for a great price at $8,100 that wouldn't have the vehicle upside down. We asked about Gap insurance as well as a warranty. Because we weren't upside down on the loan, he said we didn't need Gap Insurance. & he said we couldn't get a warranty because the car was sold As Is. We test drove it & noticed a couple of issues. The salesman said the car had not been serviced or looked over. We could take it home & then bring it back the next day to get it into the shop. If we brought it in early enough it should be done that day. 4 days later & after a long run around with the service department, we finally got the car back. Every time we talked to them we got another excuse why the car wasn't ready. This is very frustrating when you work different schedules & have to transport kids back and forth to school & two people to work that is 45 minutes apart. So we got the car back. A week & a half later the check engine light came on. You can imagine our frustration and concern about this "reliable" vehicle that we had just purchased. We called and talked to the dealership and were able to get it brought back in because of a sensor that needed to be replaced. This took another 2 days to get it taken care of. Fast forward two more weeks and it's two days before we make our first payment. The clutch in the car completely goes out. We call the dealership. Again we haven't even made a payment on this thing and it has already spent a week in the shop in the month that we have had it. We were told there was nothing they could do because we purchased the car "as is". We can understand that, but at the same time, we haven't even had the car 30 days or made a payment. I take it upon myself to post a very simple and factual review on our local city Facebook page to warn others of our experience. After this was posted, we received a phone call from the dealership complaining about the bad review. This brought into negotiation (now that the review is out there for all to see) the possibility that MAYBE they could trade in the vehicle or at least fix it as a one time fix since it was before the first payment was due. The CROOK Montrell (again, don't go see this salesman), lied to the owner saying he offered us a warranty and we turned it down (thankfully there were three people in his office for the signing of the paperwork who can agree that this did not happen and that we were specifically told that we did not have that option). He then told the owner that he lowered the price of the vehicle so that is why we didn't get a warranty. Apparently, the original price of the vehicle was $8,995 and he lowered it to $8,100. Appreciated, yes, did we talk him down? No. We went in there prepared to get a loan for $12k-$13k. Not once did we negotiate anything. We were told $8,100 from the beginning. He doctored the paperwork to show this and because we never discussed the price drop or the reasoning behind it, we didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. So now we are stuck with a junk vehicle that is currently not running. Their idea of a negotiation is that we pay THEM to fix it. It's horrible when a business takes advantage of a family and even worse that they would do it to a member of the military who was just in a car accident. So I again tell you DON'T buy from them. Not if you want a car that will actually last you a period of time. Our friends who recommended them also never plan to buy from them again and are very upset that we are all being treated this way. So shady and so many lies.

I went in there because I had an appointment at 12. I walked in and no one knew what I was talking about with the appointment. The salesman that helped me acted like he wanted to be anywhere else while helping me. I also asked if they were running a soft or hard credit check and the salesman told me soft, but then proceeded to ask me what everything was on my credit and it turns out that they did a hard credit check on me which will now decrease my credit. I felt very uncomfortable with having to explain everything on my credit to someone who had no business knowing. I don’t recommend this place at all. They seem very shady and not helpful.

Unfortunately problem was more than anticipated... Instead of treating with the "its your car it's your problem".. They took the car back and got me into a newer car that I love even more. 2nd time buyer, and i must say Marcos is excellent, and very professional. The rest of the staff is disorganized and rude. I get different answers depending on who i talk to. We had an accident with one of the 2 cars we bought (our second time buying from them), and everything has been smooth with USAA, but when it came to dealing with Bill Fitts Auto it got a little strange and felt a little shady. They wrapped both cars into one contract, so i had to wait for the son, Marc to separate the cars to get a payoff and he didn't want to until he saw the other car, which is unrelated. He told me they've been taken advantage of before in these situations and that's just how his daddy has always done it. It didn't really make any sense to me why they needed to see the 2nd car. I felt like i was being profiled when he insisted that they have been taken advantage of in the past. I told him i'm a 2nd time customer, and i've done nothing wrong. I had an accident unfortunately (i loved the car) and it was totaled. I just need a payoff number for USAA and that's it. I'm sorry they had issues from other people, but i told him i'm not those people. It's pretty simple, separate the cars, and give USAA a number. He tried to turn it around and said thanks for judging me (i said it felt shady) but i informed him i'm only reacting to what he was telling me...which was i'm potentially taking advantage of them like some others have. I was going to get another car from them, but not after being accused of being a scam artist like others in a similar situation. I'm an honest person, i work hard, i care about my character, and in this situation i simply had an unfortunate accident which resulted in totaling the car. No one was hurt (me or my son) and this is my first accident. I used to think highly of Bill Fitts, it was a pleasure dealing with Marc's father on our first purchase (which is why we came back) but the son has a lot to learn about how to treat people. I would not recommend doing business with them for the fact that if you have an honest accident, you will be judged as a criminal that's trying to take advantage of them.

Welp. Not exactly sure how to rate this. Spoke with a sales person over the phone about a vehicle they have. Also spoke with them about my trade. I show up to view the vehicle is wished to purchase and it wasnt pretty... The vehicle was in poor shape, although I was told that it has not been through their shop yet. Thats fair. The "as is" price i was given was well over blue book value by several thousand dollars even though the vehicle needed a few thousand dollars worth of repairs done. The price I was given for my vehicle, was a few thousand dollara under book value. Now, I understand that a business has to make money and that's what this is all about, but, the money needed to support the business each month does not need to be made off 1 person. I will not return to this used car dealership.

I purchased a Mercedes Benz for around $15,000 and traded it in less than a year later for less than $5,000. They had their employee that did inspections and I continued to see him for any problems while I owned the car. I now know that he lied to me before I bought the car, lied and overcharged me on any repairs while I owned the car, and purposely didn't fully fix things so I would continue to return to him. Right after I bought the car the speedometer went out and continue to go out over, and with the windshield wiper. Six months after purchasing the vehicle the transmission went out. I could go on and on and it was really upsetting how Bill Fitts handled the whole situation. Looking back, I feel they didn't mind treating me so poorly because I was in my early 20s.
