No resolve to my original side detection module issue on my Acadia Denali. They ordered wrong part, then told me it’s not available anywhere and they have no idea when it will be avail!!! Out $hundreds for 60k services I agreed to but prob didn’t need. I’m not sure if they even looked at my prior certified records. On top of that I was approached overzealously by salesmen on the phone and in person to try to get me to trade in (just bought this certified used last October). Initially this dealership has the upscale feel you would expect at a high end auto dealership or in Scottsdale in general, but under the shallow exterior lies a lot of disorganization, money grabbing and impersonal service. P.S. one good thing is they performed my oil change, tire rotation as promised in certified used complimentary coupon. Buuuut, They admitted they didn’t even look at the oil color or level before they dropped the old oil so I don’t know if it burns any or what. We just moved cross country last week and it definitely needed this service but nice to know these basics, most of us backyard mechanics even know better.

When I arrived, the staff were super quick to acknowledge me with their service. The oil change couldn't have gone any faster. The waiting area is filled with danish refreshments with a popular tv show playing, also made the time fly. Once I knew my car was ready, I received a text message saying my car was ready for pick up. Overall, the experience was smooth, easy and quick.

Rhett the sales manager was rude and disrespectful. According to the dealer privacy policy posted on its website, Van maintains the personal information of its consumers for its use. Rhett lied to me when he stated that Van has no customer contact information. He does not listen well because he is too busy interrupting. We were never provided any information regarding our gap insurance that was purchased at vehicle delivery 2 months ago. Van Buick GMC via Rhett the sales manager has informed me that it is the dealer policy that leased car owners are not entitled to the same level of service as vehicle owners. If that is true, I am seeking recourse for the MPP and gap insurance that was purchased from Van Buick GMC. UPDATE - 3/25. I have left multiple messages for Becky. Never received a call back. It should not be this hard.

I found a reasonably priced truck on their website and was contacted by a dishonest sales rep named Baha. He stayed in touch even after the truck sold and lured me to the lot. I live in Sedona and as I was leaving the lying POS told me the truck was still available. After driving over 100 miles to see the truck, I arrived to find Baha was nowhere to be found and neither was the truck. My experience was as dishonest as one could imagine and I would never do business with Van Buick GMC.

My terrain broke down under warranty. This dealership would not stand by warranty so we hauled my car 2 hours home and contacted GM. It was 100% covered under warranty and VAN would not stand by GMs warranty and told me it would cost $3,200 to fix it. Not first bad experience with this dealership we had avoided it for 16 years and didn’t have a choice on where to tow this time.

Nice staff but WAY over priced. I sadly didn’t price check them which I should have cause after getting my issue repaired costing me over $800, I found out that two other repair shops nearby would have done the same work for half the price. So don’t trust their prices. Shop first as it’ll be well worth it. (Mistake learned on my end)

This dealership wouldn’t honor another Chevy’s dealership oil change and tire rotation price. They left one of my screws out on my wheels on the center cap and they got all scratched up because of it. I will not take my truck back to be serviced at this location due to the experience I had here. I got an email from the manager to call him about my experience, I called, he didn’t answer. I left a message and it’s been almost a week with no call back

Horrible service when I bought the car and when I took my car into get the manager’s special. Cori was very nice but I was very disappointed when I was told my car would be washed and paint protectant added on b/c of my warranty and there was still dirty spots everywhere. The least they could do is make sure the money I paid to have everything done was worth it. On top of it, they managed to crack the windshield all the way across (I know you have to sign a waiver but I already had a feeling they would somehow to crack it but still had a little hope they wouldn’t). If I could give negative stars to this place I would in a heart beat.

The service department here is one of the best I’ve been to. They have plenty of loaner vehicles and my service advisor Jacob is super helpful, knowledgeable, and actually goes out of his way to help save you $$$ and be reasonable. I also got a chance to speak with the mechanic, Greg, and he did an excellent job at explaining what was going on and wanted to make sure we got it (there was an odd noise from my steering column and a minor oil pan gasket leak). Also, I appreciate how the salespeople there are well-mannered and don’t come up and perpetually bother you while you’re in showroom browsing the cars/trucks/SUV’s.

Ralph was great! He made the whole process quick and seamless. Their finance department was extremely slow. I waited for over 30 minutes before I sat down with someone for the payment portion of the deal. If I hadn’t approached the receptionist and asked when I was going to get helped, I have a feeling it was going to be much longer. Once taken back He was able to process the finance paperwork pretty quickly once we were able to start.

Do not give Van Chevrolet or Buick your phone number. I did an inquiry and they are unable to get me financing. Yet continue to HARASS me daily with phone call after phone call asking me if I want to buy a car. They say you need 5k down. I say I don’t have it. They say they will take my number off the list. Then the same rep will call me an hour later as if they never spoke to me asking me if I am still looking to buy a car. I have asked multiple times to stop call me. I have been transferred to managers that say they will remove my number yet the calls still continue. If You can’t get me financing why keep harassing me?!?!?!

Adam was very helpful in getting my warranty repair completed along with A/C service required to get my car back on the road. I was in to get a check engine light investigated and I needed 3 repairs over the course of 2 visits. For the second visit I was given a loaner car since it was going to be a couple of days to fix. I really like having the option of Uber to give rides for shorter service times and a loaner available for longer service times.

We purchased a new vehicle from Van GMC in November and had a wonderful experience. We were provided a temporary plate until our new tags came in. Van GMC informed us they would handle having our new tags sent to our home. Our temporary plate expired 1/1/19 without receiving new tags in the mail. We have called the dealership 4 times over the last 6 days for an update and each time we’ve called we were told someone would look into it and call us back. Not once has anyone from the dealership returned our calls. We called again this morning and were promised a call back from a manager today. Once again, nothing. It’s great having a new car but when you can’t drive it due to the lack of registration...

Shopped all around the valley for my 4x4 Gmc AT4, Van Gmc and Christian Atondo were head and shoulders above the competition. I was dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. When it got time to present numbers they came in way low on our cherry trade..went thru the whole 'have to recon and then wholesale' which no way they were going to wholesale my trade...other that we made a pretty fair deal. The next test will be dealing with Service which always makes/breaks the dealership in my opinion.

We were mislead about the navigation system and warranty details, they still have not addressed the warranty issue. In retrospect I would have gotten EVERY relevant important aspect in writing before signing the contract. I have to give it to them though as they did meet us at least halfway.

Let me preface this by saying that I chose to deal with an out of state dealership because the car my parents wanted was a little difficult to get. In the car that was in mistake 2 and 3 was actually from Utah and The dealership traded for it. With that being said here is a description of my experience. This is the most unprofessional scatter brain dealership I have ever dealt with. The first problem happened when they said they had access to a car that had everything my parents wanted an hour away. Took my credit card info for deposit and then learned the car was sold. Second problem was when the dealership was supposed to send purchase documentation to notary for my parents to sign. But documents came straight to us, without any direction on where and what to sign, then we drove to dealership from Tucson (2 hours away) to sign paperwork. Not having much time I let the salesman know that we didn’t have much time and called him so they would be ready. When we got to dealership was pawned off to somebody and forgotten. After 20 minutes we left. Dealership didn’t even know we hadn’t signed paperwork because I got a call from salesman thanking us for the purchase and seeing about delivery. Then the said they would make it up to us by delivering the vehicle to us (we live out of state). We said ok and thought the vehicle would be delivered where I had told them (Albuquerque NM) cuz my parents were visiting at the time they could deliver. I flew them up from their hometown (Carlsbad New Mexico) so they could drive it home. Screw up number 3 they end up driving the car from Utah (where they had to trade for) to Carlsbad. Some 6 to 700 miles. And nobody was home because my parents were in Albuquerque(where I told them they would be). Thought they would put it on a trailer. I mean who buys a brand new car with 1000 miles on it already? Did try and save the deal asking for a 5000 discount for the trouble airfare tickets and miles but dealer didn’t go for that. Which I can understand. But we weren’t gonna buy the car at that point. Would never do business with them again and if anyone I know wants to purchase from them I would discourage. It’s not hard to pay attention to the deal you are working on. And I feel they just didn’t do that. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star because I don’t think deserve that. I will be reaching out to Buick customer service to let them know some of the incompetence that is selling their cars.

I bought my car as pre-owned from Van. It apparently had an after market exhaust system on it, but I was never told that at the time of purchase. Fast forward a few months. Check engine light comes on. Come to find out, for the first time, there’s an after market exhaust on the car that increases the pressure on the exhaust valve causing it to break. Of course it’s not warrantied, so, $1100 later, it’s fixed. Then it breaks again. The first time they fix it, but they also tell me I should have the stock exhaust re-installed...for $3k. Remember, I didn’t install the after market exhaust to begin with and bought it not being told it had it. Then it breaks again. I take it back to Van for the valve and also to have the oil changed since it’s due. Well, this time I’m told it’s the spring under the valve that is worn out and they will charge me $700 to take the exhaust out and send it to the aftermarket manufacturer to fix it, or I can take it to the manufacturer who will fix it at not cost to me. Well gee, the exhaust manufacturer, who I don’t have any relationship with, will fix it for free but the dealership that I bought the car from won’t work with me? Ok thanks. And on top of that, they charged me $150 to “diagnose” my car and another $150 for an oil change. Hahahaha I’m done with this service department. I’m not naming service rep names because as I understand it, how to deal with this came down from management. But I’m thoroughly disappointed in how this was handled.

Your service advisers are polite and friendly, but for your dealership that is where it stops for me. I brought our Acadia in twice in 3 weeks. The first time you had to order a part for one issue, and the other "you couldn't reproduce". I never got a call about the ordered part coming in. I had to call and see if it had ever arrived. You fixed that issue on the second visit, however I also mentioned there was an oil leak. Supposedly you cleaned up residual oil from the oil change on the first visit. There should never have been a mess from the oil change, but it doesn't end there. There is still an oil leak, so nobody bothered to check on the second visit. The problem "you couldn't reproduce" is still there in fact it is worse. The car barely has 18K miles on it and it is a "rattle trap". I won't buy or lease another GMC again. You guys blew it. Round 3: Let me start by saying the service adviser was very nice and polite and genuinely seemed like he wanted to help in any way he could. I had no issues with him. My problem is with Van's actual service department. So this is the third time now I have brought our Acadia back to Van to have three issues fixed. The first issue was finally fixed where the car had an oil leak. As I understand it, the technician still tried to claim it was residual oil from the filter. The adviser told him to check again. Guess what, there was an actual problem where a part had to be ordered. Translation: Lazy technician. The other two issues (noise in the front suspension, play in the drive train that clunks when engaged) were "not reproducible". Van had the car for a whole week and couldn't hear or see anything wrong. Supposedly the shop foreman couldn't figure it out. They must not have driven the car very far because I was able to reproduce both problems multiple times on driving the car out and away from the dealership when I picked it up. Both my wife and I could hear and feel the issues. I don't know what process their technicians and foreman used to check the car, but they weren't good enough. At this point I won't ever buy or lease a GM car and I won't buy or lease a car from Van.

"Brand New $55,000 GMC Breaks Down After 1 Month of Purchase " I purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali for $55,000 out the door, just about a month ago. When purchasing the vehicle, the sales manager Ariel was extremely rude, but I let it slide (I contemplated taking my business to Liberty GMC, which I am now kicking myself in the butt for not doing so). I traded in a pristine 911 Carrera 4S with 22,000 miles to obtain this vehicle, and so far it has been the biggest mistake I have ever made!!! The truck had a ding in it, and the sales person said to give him a call and they would arrange to have it fixed, since it was there before the purchase was complete. Then I went down to their finance, and decided to finance with them to get the additional GMC incentives. The finance guy asked if I would like to add an extended warranty and gave me until the following Tuesday to call and add it before the loan funded. I called and emailed both the sales and finance guy, multiple times, leaving messages, with no return calls or emails from either. To make matters worst last Tuesday, April 30th (a month after purchase) the truck breaks down on Scottsdale Rd, in the middle of rush hour traffic, the transmission and check engine light both go off. I coast the vehicle into the nearest parking lot and immediately call the dealership and OnStar. I am now thinking I may have been sold a lemon and have looked into the laws pertaining to that. I am given a loaner, which is a Buick Encore, not even a comparable model to my Denali. The service department tells me to take it until the vehicle is fixed. Then I get a call the next day from someone else at the dealer claiming the vehicle had been sold, and I needed to return it and on top of that, he mentions it only had one day plates (however it has a dealer plate on it...which doesn't add up) I asked them to exchange me out a vehicle, and then crickets... Fast forward to today Wednesday, May 8th, the truck is still in the service department (they weren't able to look at the vehicle until Friday, May 3rd), I am getting the run around from everyone from service to sales. The last I heard was the vehicle needed a little part that could take 5-7 business days to ship, and they are unable to overnight it from Michigan (it's 2019 and very hard to believe that to be true), they can't get a tracking number on the part either (B.S.). On top of that, they couldn't let me know how long it would take to repair the vehicle either. I tried contacting the GM Matt Cerreta directly today, but I just got the excuse that he wasn't in and they couldn't get a hold of him. The worst part is, I have a huge family trip scheduled in exactly two weeks up to Colorado. My girlfriend and I both took a week and a half off of work, with plans to haul our side by side and dirt bikes with my brand new GMC... Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy, appalled and disgusted by the lack of courtesy and professionalism this particular dealer has. All I am asking for is a straight answer, and not the run around. I am hoping they can do the right thing and rectify this situation ASAP.

Been there originally for an oil change. They tried to scam me by replacing the air filter that was brand new. Apparently it was "incredibly dirty". They also put oil everywhere on the engine bay and doors. After talking with service manager Aaron I was promised a free steam cleaning of the engine bay. Well after attempting to tamper with my dashcam they proceeded to let the car run with full air conditioning on for no reason, inflate the tires to unsafe pressure for no reason, and last 2 minutes before giving the car back Aaron did a sloppy job of attempting to clean the engine with rags. So much for "steam cleaning". These people used to be good but they are runned by clowns now. Go away unless you can afford to buy a new car each time you come for an oil change these pigs will destroy your car.

This is the 2nd vehicle that I have bought here and the last. The only reason they get 2 stars is because Tristan in Finance should get 5 stars. He was quick let us know about the warranty rebate and GAP rebate (still waiting on the GAP rebate that was going to be mailed) that the sales team did not. We looked at a GMC Yukon Denali late in the evening and they told us it was a 2018. The numbers didn't work so we walked away that night. I told them what I was willing to pay per month and they still did the usual annoying car buying sales process. They called us in the morning and got near where we wanted to be. It wasn't until finance that we found out it was a 2016 not a 2018 because we didn't see the vehicle again until after prep/detailing. We were ok with the 2016 because of the low mileage so we continued with buying. After everything was signed and we got the vehicle we drove home and checked it out a little closer. We noticed they switched the chrome wheels out that were on it the night before for alloy wheels. "bait and switch". So we went from a 2018 to a 2016 without being told and then the rims were changed out from chrome to alloy without being told. Again, Tristan in finance was great, but the rest of the process was horrific. Then to top it off I got 2 phone calls the following week asking if I was interested in getting a new vehicle not knowing we just bought one. I knew I should have gone to Liberty GMC in Gendale. It took us approximately 7.5hrs of total time at the dealership during the process.

Absolutely terrible experience. I purchased a used vehicle a few months ago only to find out they sent me the wrong license plate. I’ve been calling for weeks only to get transferred around till I eventually reach a voice mail. I left messages for the manager of the finance department, Matt. Numerous messages for Kathleen. The manager of the used car sales.. No one has called me back. I have a trip to Mexico and I can’t drive my own car because it’s register to the wrong vehicle. Terrible management leading unreliable service team.

I went in for my scheduled maintenance. They were very busy, there were a lot of cars, but I was immediately checked in. I waited for my car, the waiting room was clean and large enough to accommodate a lot of people, there was a large tv, and coffee and popcorn available. It took less than an hour for my car to be finished. They texted me, as I requested, most customers had their service reps find them in the waiting room. When I checked out, they went over the services performed and answered my questions. They were very friendly. Also, my car was washed. I was very pleased and I will go back.

I had an appointment to get a warning light looked at. I arrived early but my service advisor, Aaron greeted me right away. He understood the problem immediately and led me to the lounge to wait for the repairs to be done. The chairs were comfortable and the donuts fresh! The repair was done in a timely fashion and I was sent on my way in a freshly washed car! The repair fell under the warranty and there were no payment or paperwork issues to deal with. Aaron gave me a printed report with all the stats on my car. It was all painless! So glad to know if I have problems in the future Aaron and his crew will be there!

I brought one of my cars in for a recall, and told the tech that it also had an engine light that I had already diagnosed to be the thermostat, and wanted a quote for changing it. I was charged $150 for "diagnosis" and guess what? Thermostat. Exactly what I had told him. Of course, they also suggested a bunch of other stuff (all stuff that I have already had done) and he wanted $1700 for those. So, I paid $150 to find out something I already knew, and the dealership gets paid for the recall as well. If you just treat customers right (honest), they will come back... otherwise, why should we? BTW... I've purchased two different Corvettes from you in the past... Not again. All just so you could get an extra $150 from me.

I liked the service agreement App. I could review their accessment of my vehicle, ask questions and then choose from the App what I wanted to have done. The prices were on the APP for each service and automatically updated the cost when I crossed off anything I did not want. Never had a good experience with repairs. Over the last 15 years I have owned multiple Chevy and GMC SUVs, which have been great vehicles, but when I take it to Van GMC service, something problematic always happens. The latest experience, took my 2015 Yukon XL to check the breaks and fix a small recall related to electronics. The vehicle now has no cruise control and the motor sounds like a clunker. Found a tool left on the console and the change oil light is on. No issue so far with the breaks thankfully. I was told to bring it back. This story is to be continued.

I recently had trouble with my Express van while in Burbank, CA. We had to pull off to the side of a very busy CA Highway 5 with the engine overheating, making clanking noises and the trouble indicator lights on. After towing it to a local dealer, we were given a grim and expensive diagnosis which included a probable cracked engine block. I remembered an excellent repair experience with Van Chevrolet several years back. So I called, and had a very positive conversation with Jacob Toczek. Jacob said he would be the point of contact for drop off, so I decided to have the vehicle transported from Burbank to Van Chevrolet. Jacob called when it arrived and said he would have everything checked out pronto. Well, there was no cracked engine block and the most serious issue was a bad radiator. In addition to replacing the radiator, numerous other important and necessary maintenance items were performed by Certified Technician T. Butters. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work done! The teamwork, knowledge, and professionalism exhibited by Jacob Toczek and T. Butters are commendable!

If I could I’d give 0 stars. I told them my situation from moving from California saying I don’t want it finalized till my work situation was on track and RICHARD GLASSMANN FORCED ME AND MY WIFE INTO A CONTRACT WE WERE NOT READY FOR!!! They forced us to pick up the truck even when we said we weren’t for sure about it. Snakes scandalists you name it that’s what they are. Truck is great don’t get me wrong about that but they just force you to go through it when you don’t want to. Another thing we told him what we were looking for and wanted used so we were showed new first, nothing we wanted and then we were taken to the Chevy used side trucks smelt like casinos....like cigarettes!!! Good god you’re not gonna sell anything that reeks havoc like that!! And then at the end shows us exactly what we wanted originally hours later like why not show us that to begin with!! Honestly do not recommend this dealership but the truck yes it’s great

I would have bought the truck but the sales manager wouldn't give an inch. Asked for mud flaps. No. The truck came with 1 key. I asked him to throw in another key. Drove in without an appointment and an hour later I had a diagnosis of the cars' problem. They not only fixed my car but picked me up from home (Uber) when the repairs were complete three hours later. In addition they cleaned the car inside and washed the outside. The repair was covered under warranty. I will choose Van over Ernhart Everytime. I have used both now and Vans is leaps and bounds better.
