Jacob did an outstanding job today selling us a telluride. Chip also assisted in the process. These two gentlemen made everything easy and it was a great experience. Thank you mark kia!

itsmizzsophia

Kenny was a nice, easy going, understanding salesman!!!! Micheal was very friendly and checked in on us! Maricella did a good job making the financial process smooth and easy! However CHIP was a NIGHTMARE to work with!! DOESN’T even listen to what you’re saying because he doesn’t treat customers with respect! And as a sales manager, he should want to see customers happy but he’s COMPLETELY RUDE and made us VERY UNHAPPY! HE’S the one who made the buying experience UNPLEASANT! On behalf of the dealership, the prices they list aren’t what you’re actually gonna pay! FALSE ADVERTISING! You SHOULDN’T be charged for things you didn’t ask for such as an app or window tint! AND the fact that they HIDE those HIDDEN fees until AFTER they run your credit score IS NOT OKAY!!!!!!! I can’t stress it enough how UNPROFESSIONAL that is! They should’ve given a layout of EVERYTHING before doing a credit score check! NEVER heard of such a thing!

Jacob Hill was awesome. Didn’t come for a car and left with a BMW. The ultimate salesman. Super awesome, when it’s time for a new GM I vote for him. Will never buy another car from someone else again. Get this guy a franchise!

From the first day i contacted Mark Kia, Pablo Q. was very helpful and most importantly very patient! He exceeded my customer service expectations. I will refer family and friends to Mark Kia.

Save yourself the hassle, effort, and headache by not wasting any of your valuable time at this absolutely horrendous sad excuse of a dealership. I decided to visit this dealership after reading many of the negative reviews posted online despite my better judgement. The sales and finance staff here are nothing short of predatory thieves who will take any and all opportunity to rip you off. They sneak in unnecessary fees and charges into the final price of the vehicle without telling you about it, hoping you wont notice. They will also try to give you the worst financing available, despite having excellent credit. By the time it is all set and done, you will be looking at close to double the original price of the car. When questioned about the crazy numbers they were giving me, the staff became irate and twisted the situation making it seem like they were giving me a "worst case scenario". I have never experienced anything like this at any other dealership i have visited. I don't understand how Mark Kia expects to sell vehicles with sales staff that is condescending and belittling to the customers that know what they are looking for and know what the financing should be. From what I experienced, it seems like they do not want educated consumers going to their dealership. They want people who don't know any better and fall for their sleazy sales schemes and end up with a horrendous car financing disaster. All the dealership does to remedy this problem is have their online social media team respond to the negative reviews and do "damage control". When instead, what they should do is teach their sales and finance staff to work in an ethical manner, as this is something they are clearly lacking. I have never written an online review before but felt compelled to do so because it's necessary for other potential car shoppers to know how bad this dealership is. Please do your due diligence and proceed with caution if you decide to go here.

I went to Mark Kia to look at a used CR-V, to say the least I was in a rush to get business done. The vehicle was still in their off-site service area and Robert, who was assigned to help me, took me over for a test drive. I liked the vehicle enough to recommend it to the boss (my wife who would be driving it) but she was in Mesa and would have taken her an hour to get to the dealership. Robert suggested that I take the vehicle home for an extended test drive and return it the next day. This was a stroke of genius and generosity that won't be forgotten, although we eventually found a car we liked better elsewhere, Robert helped us expedite our long search which I'm grateful for. Thanks, real solid guy and dealership

They don't tell you their policy or give you the information at the time of purchase. I was told for their lifetime tires that you can get them repair at a tire shop if needed. Today I found out this is not true and now my lifetime tires is now void. They do not due everything they are suppose to on service like rotating the tires. 3rd time they did not rotate the tires. Very slow service. Took 2 hours to change the oil and this is with an appointment time. I will be going to another kia for my service for the rest of my 3 yrs service for free. Will be contacting customer services in regards to this lifetime free tire.

Michael, the sales person that helped us, was very good, we would have loved to buy a vehicle from him. The issue is that we agreed to let them submit a credit application for a new Kia Telluride, and when they came back to tell us that we were approved, the price was $4500 more than what their website shows. $3000 extra for “market adjustment” because the Telluride is in high demand, and the other $1500 was for mandatory dealer add ons. Had I known about about these charges ahead of time, I would have been disappointed, and left without having my credit checked. But because of the very shady way this all went down, I left very angry, and then visited another Kia dealer and purchased our new vehicle same day. The only reason this is a 2 star review instead of 1 is because I feel like Michael really cared about getting us what we wanted. I’m sorry we couldn’t make it work. And that my credit report now has an extra inquiry on it.

Tyler Amaral

It was a great experience, they got me a better deal than I imagined and the sales people are no pressure, so I didn't feel stressed at all.

Sean Gillespie

5 stars all around! I had visited 4 other dealerships and hands down I chose to buy this vehicle because Jacob hill really worked hard to get me the right price. He also made sure to get the vehicle detailed to make it look pretty much brand new. Jacob hill thank you! You guys did a great job. Mark Kia THANK YOU!

Eric Hutchison

Jacob Hill was a big help getting us a van today. They worked with our situation and made sure we were getting the best deal. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Cassandra Bizon

I bought my new Kia Optima from Mark Kia in Scottsdale and my experience far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was polite and attentive to everyone at the dealership. Emmanuel was kind and receptive to my needs. He made every effort to make sure I left with what I wanted and I never felt pressured. They gave me a great price for my trade in, even though it had issues. I will continue to use this dealership in the future and will refer my friends and family.

Jeff Brandlin

Bait and switch!!! Advertised a truck that was no where near what was listed. FX4 off road package, tailgate step, locker, and remote tailgate were all listen and none we're on the vehicle. The fact that a 3rd party lists the vehicles is not a valid excuse. It's your responsibility as a dealer to verify that the public has accurate information and is not taken advantage of. Thanks for 4 hours on the road to check out a misleading truck.

Kasey Ross

Terrible service. You would think that after buying a BRAND NEW cat there that they would me more helpful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Sierra Kay

Jacob hill was such a gentleman during this process. Came in to get my vehicle serviced and he literally provided the ultimate customer service experience. He should run the whole store no joke this guy is the king ! They should name the store Jacob Kia because he is the man oh and josh stonestreet is the man too! Jacob Kia! Woo hoo

Colton Woodruff

Great experience. Emmanuel helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and we never felt pressured at all. Emmanuel was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him to anyone that wants to avoid the typical car salesman stereotype. If you want a no-pressure, easy going experience with someone who really listens and works to help you find the right car, ask for Emmanuel at Mark Kia.

JStrizzle

Great buying experience. No pressure from Eric in sales, and Maricella in finance worked hard to get us a great rate. Found car on CarGurus and response from dealership was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back to Mark Kia!

Paige Grissom

Was pretty nervous for the whole ‘first time car buying’ experience, I met with Kevin today and he made the whole process seamless and actually kind of fun. Went above and beyond anything I expected out of a car salesman. My parents (who aren’t easily impressed) were extremely impressed with the entire process from start to finish.

Andrew Rodriguez

Awesome place to buy a car. Went in looking for a new car for wife, but The price just wasn’t right for me. But Josh Lee and Lucas did everything they could to make a deal with me. Did not pressure me into buying extended warranties or a new model of car I was searching. They got straight to the point, I felt like the new the guys for years. Going into dealerships can be stressful, kudos to these guys for making the process so smooth and stress free.

Jonathan Crutchfield

Worked out a very reasonable deal from Tucson over email. Just a few days later, Kevin personally drove my Kia down from Phoenix. All of the paperwork was taken care of quickly and correctly. Saved a lot of time and hassle and easily the smoothest car buying experience I’ve had. Thanks!

Eric Witten

Robert, Manny, and Lucas set us up with a great deal with a better car than we originally wanted. Highly recommend Mark Kia!

Chip Wilder

Our experience purchasing a 2016 Soul with J.J. and Jon was excellent. They went above the call of duty to ensure that my wife and I had all of the information we needed, and got our new vehicle ready for us quickly and without issues.

Susan Roberts

Fair dealer and seem to care about you getting a great car.

Joseph Wille

LIES , LIES, LIES. These guys from sales to management are prime examples of why I never want to go to a dealership Trained to deceive and still not good at it, they just do it anyway. Everyone I dealt with had one to share, from pricing, service, written provisions to timeline's. I even got the classic "I talked to my boss' boss"... Unbelievable! And when you call them out, they're not the slightest bit concerned, just on to the next. I look forward to the manager's response to this. It'll be more of what I just mentioned. Let me guess..."miscommunication", "Although we strive to make everyone happy...", "I'm sorry your experience with us wasn't as good as you expected..." Keep 'em coming, guys. Update: As of yesterday, i found that the Mark Kia ran my credit against my wishes, causing my FICO score to drop. I explicitly stated that I was already approved for the full amount, through my credit union and I presented them with an approval certificate to confirm. With absolutely no concern for my best interest or concern for my financial situation, they disregarded my direction In their quest to squeeze any bit of money from any source they can manage. Thanks a lot Mark Kia.

nikki langer

Mark Kia Parts Dept employs honest and reliable personal. I have contacted on several occasions concerning my 2005 Kia Spectra and was able to get the necessary part (electrical fuses) or was referred to company that might be of better assistance. As I plan on keeping my Kia till it drops this help is BIG. Easier to call then find a place to park. I have had to get Kia personal to drive my vehicle when new kia cars were parked right behind me and I was afraid to back out and hit them. The inside is very relaxing and spacious if you come with family.

marc kovan

Brandi is outstanding. She has a very calm demeanor and takes her time to explain the services that will be performed. She went out of her way to take a photo of the alignment results from the computer when the printer could not print and then emailed me the photo for my records.

S Meacom

An oil plus filter change is $133 and takes 2 hours. I strongly prefer the Gilbert location Kia dealership. Much faster and less expensive.

Spencer Jones

Check out Mark Kia on Better Business Bureau before you decide to do business with them. As of right now, they have 26 reviews ALL of which are single star. They couldn't be rated any lower... I was very close to buying a vehicle through them, but backed out after a series of events that ended with management yelling at my wife. Save yourself the headache and just go to the next Kia dealership.

Alexis Perez

If you are tired of dealerships misleading or over promising than this is your spot. Pulled up Friday decided to get a vehicle listed on their website. Luckily, I ran into Jacob Hill. I explained him my situation and told him what I wanted, he instantly gave me the run down of what is realistic with my situation. He worked hard to get me the best deal possible, so I thank him and all of the team members from finance for giving me the breakdown. I appreciate when people are up-front that is the best business practice there can be. Came out with my brand new vehicle, I was able to eliminate my negative equity, as well as get an amazing warranty. Jacob, became communicative about everything and finance broke down everything down on paper like it should be. No gimmicks, no scams, just straight forward. If you need a place with vendors that will report to all credit bureaus and kill your negative equity, Mark Kia will be completely transparent! Definitely recommend this dealer!!!

Phil Fancher

Tried to charge me 40k for a 21k car ammortized over a 72 month loan! Quoted me 13% interest without runningmy credit.

Bryson Craven

These guys really took care of me after learning about some issues with an extended warranty. Jasmine was awesome and helped me every step of the way! Was skeptical when I purchased my vehicle from here a little over a year ago but now I’m glad I did! Highly recommend them for buying a car or maintencnance!

Gary Granger

Brandy the service writer is great. The news on the warranty service was terrible. They tell me my battery is fine and there in no fix for my car yet it only is getting 70 miles when normally I get 110 miles

Norman Mitchell

Great staff, willing to go the extra mile. Vast selection of vehicles.

Aleksey Kozlov

Had a great experience. Needed a ton of work done for maintenance. Travis made an estimation and then found every charge that could be dropped (due to warranty, recall, discounts, etc.) and reduced the bill by about $100. I even got free car wash, tire rotation, and oil change somehow. He also offered an uber or Lyft while I wait. I didn't need it but it was a very nice gesture. They've got a nice wait area with TV, WiFi, coffee machine, water fridge, popcorn, and restrooms. The only suggestion is to offer feedback rebates instead of discounts. Overall, awesome experience. Travis - 5 stars for the service amazing. Thanks again!

Alana Rudy

Absolutely the worst car buying experience we have EVER dealt with! My husband and I found a truck that we were interested in. He contacted a sales associate, we filled out a credit app online, and we set up an appointment to come see the vehicle. Keep in mind, we live nearly an hour away, and were traveling to see the truck during rush hour, so it wasn't the most convenient of situations, but we really wanted to see this vehicle. Let's start off by saying that the parking is a cluster mess. There was no designated parking areas for us to park, There was no clear determination between the used or new sales lot, and there were probably 5-10 salesmen that saw us trying to find a spot, and nobody offered to give us any direction. We finally got out and started to look for the truck that was supposed to be parked out front and ready for us, which was nowhere to be found. Not a single salesman offered to help us. They all scattered and acted too busy to help. We walked the lot for about 15 minutes before finally going into the sales office, where there was 1 man at a desk. Didn't make eye contact with us, didnt say hi, actually, completely avoided the fact that we needed help. My husband finally spoke up and said "EXCUSE ME... We're looking for (whoever the agent was)". The salesman seemed irritated that he had to stop pretending to be busy to actually help us, and informed us that the salesman went home for the day. Excuse me? We just drove an hour to meet with him, and he went home?? Okay... so the guy says he will page someone to come help us. We walk outside, irritated with the lack of help, and waited another 5 minutes until a guy named Calvin rushed outside, and started to walk past us, until my husband stopped him and asked for help. He said "oh yeah yeah, let me go find that truck for you"... AGAIN... another 10 minutes passed, no sign of the truck. and AGAIN, not a single soul offered to help us while we waited. At this point, we were so frustrated that we decided to leave. We felt unwelcome, and felt as though we were an inconvenience. Best part about the whole situation? I emailed the salesman who we were supposed to be meeting and explained our horrible experience, thinking I would of gotten an apology or an explanation, NOPE! Not a word! I also took it a step further and emailed the manager about our experience, AND called and left him a message, and he never even acknowledged us!! A few days later, a girl named Tiffany Lee had the nerve to sent us a solitation email asking us to come back in and check out vehicles, and I emailed her back explaining what had happened, and guess what? No response!! INSANE that 3 people failed to respond to such a huge ordeal! I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this dealership. Absolutely RUDE and horrible customer service. I'd go to a buy here pay here hole in the wall before I ever stepped foot at this dealship. Beware!!

zach krings

I have purchased two vehicles from Mark Kia since 2018. The brand new 2018 Optima I purchased required a complete engine replacement about 7 months after the purchase. The dealership had the car 70+ days and it continues to have problems. Management (David Clark and Josh Spencer) have ignored my emails. I highly recommend looking elsewhere...

Fran Watson

Very nice groupe of people, in and out quickly. Thank you

Taylor Cotter

They got me interested in a truck by telling me the payment would be around $250/month. I wouldn’t have wasted my time otherwise. Spent time test driving it, let them pull my credit, and then the best offer they could then come up with was $390/month! They tried blaming my credit and said that the rate they could get me was about 30-40/month higher than they thought. Ok, even still, $30-40/month higher rate doesn’t explain the difference of 250 to 390. Don’t waste your time like they wasted mine.

Sara Klein

Kevin Veliz was so great to work with! I knew pretty much exactly what I wanted and he was able to find just that! He didn’t steer me in any direction I didn’t want to go and listened to me. I also never purchased a vehicle before and he sat through the entire process with me so I felt comfortable with every decision! I will be recommending everyone to him!

Alex Denisuk

Jasmin helped me with my girlfriend's car and did a great job. She was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to make sure my girlfriend had help considering she doesn't know too much about cars, and Jasmin did a great job helping her through the process.

Cooper Warren

Bought my first new car here! The Salesman was very helpful and got me in just the car i was looking for. They brought down the price to a nice manageable range for me and tossed in some extras! I will definitely be buying my next car here! It was really nice not to be pushed into a larger priced car than i needed!

Jasmine Swier

This place was great. Ask for Manny and he will help you out for give you the best service and numbers. He’s very up front and honest. We visited three other dealerships before feeling comfortable with these guys. Car shopping is stressful but these guys try to help make the experience a little bit more pleasant. Highly recommended. Also Juan was a great financing manager!

Bella Winters

If I could give less than a star, I would. In the many exchanges I had with this location, the service was generally awful. They will attempt to charge you through the nose for mandatory window tints of varying shades. I was sold a car with a major issue that wasn't disclosed, after a great deal of back and forth, they begrudgingly agreed to fix it and although they had my car in their shop for almost two weeks, it was returned without any work done to it. The business is now ignoring my attempts at communication. Their 2000 dollar warranty is a joke, don't bother. If you unfortunately decide to get a car from them, definitely have your mechanic check it out first and beware of a lot of little issues they try to gloss over. Also at least one of their employees types your personal information into their cell phone. Despite having the appearance of a reputable business, do not trust this group of scammers.

Dan K

Johnny and the rest of the managers were a pleasure to work with! Definitely recommend this dealership!

nazanin mirzaii

Bought my second car here! Jacob Hill was very helpful and got me in just the car i was looking for. They brought down the price to a nice manageable range for me, I will definitely be buying my next car here!

Jesus Mercado

They had a Kia Optima on sale for 7000, then when i got the vehicle they told me it went up 8,500... they had told me because the car wasn’t guaranteed. I said ok, after when I was finishing all the paper work ir came out to 9,800 with everything included tax etc. I had have a down payment of 3,500 which they said would go toward the vehicle prince and it didn’t, I still owe 9,800 and basically they stole my 3,500. Basically Im paying almost 12,000 And even my crédito score was over 700 and didnt even Have to give a down payment. The guy that attended me was Kenny Williams They also added a service and premium tint that I did not want. The last owner had that tint because that’s the same tint that was on the car when I first arrived and test drive it, I know because it has a tint line in the front.

RJ McCown

I bought a car from them about two weeks ago. My sales woman Andie Peek was absolutely wonderful!!! She went above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. When they promised me a 2nd key, she even woke up, drove from her house to meet me in Service to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Andie, I would definately recommend you to anyone and buy more cars from her anytime!!!!!!

Rhiannon Tiffany Smith

Very disappointed with Mark Kia. Signed a lease for a certain amount and now they are trying to charge me different. Both mark Kia and Kia finance give me different reasoning for the difference and blame each other. Juan who works the financing at Mark Kia is also untrustworthy as if you ask him if you actually need something he will lie to you about it. Love the car, not the service. Will be looking into different cars once my lease is up.

Andie lopez

Jason Caldera is a life changer! Straight forward, down to earth and really felt like he was on my team. Had a great car buying experience and couldn't be happier with my new vehicle and the whole experience!

ALEX ROANTES

Stopped in last week to look at a used Kia Soul that they had advertised on the Internet for $11,200. After spending almost an hour looking for the vehicle, we finally found it... Cedrick was so kind, professional and determined to find this vehicle. After looking at the vehicle and seeing that the Drivers door had moderate damage to it, I offered $!0K for the vehicle. Immediately Cedrick was dismissed by Josh, who claimed to be a manager but wouldn't entertain my offer claiming that have '1 Price' pricing on their vehicles. He immediately recars me to a new vehicle and I'm unable to make a decision. During this time, I receive a call from a stranger that he has my dogs - so I have to leave. They (Josh and Cedrick's Brother) made me feel bad as I had to leave to pickup my dogs. The insinuation that I made up the story about my dogs, is just pathetic and uncalled for. How could I live with myself if one of my dogs was killed while I'm working a car deal - No Thanks. I service both my Kia's at this Dealership with Brandi and she's GREAT! I wish the buying experience could be as great as the Service Experience. Last Friday, my 2015 Kia Soul Base 1.6L Manual (AKA 'SlowPoke'), that we transformed into a PLUS, was totaled in an accident. I needed you guys more than ever but I just couldn't go for round 2 of being treated poorly. In the end, I found a 2016 Kia Soul Base 1.6L Manual Black in Color for $10K. Mark Kia had the chance that day to earn my business and failed to do so because of 1 Price. You lost a car deal over $1200. Bill Luke, didn't have a problem discounting their vehicle $1000, to meet my $10K budget for a replacement vehicle. In the future, it's important that you treat your customers like 'Guests' as they are the lifeline of your business. Treat every customer with dignity, respect and professionalism. It's sad that this dealership has a 3.8 rating on Google, when Bill Luke has a 4.8. Let's get this Sales team to the level of professionalism that KIA Motor America expects from it's dealerships. Guest's that visit your dealership expect to be treated with dignity, respect and professionalism no matter what the circumstances may be - Emergency Call, Bad Credit, Low Income, etc. Below are pictures of the Kia Soul that is replacing 'SlowPoke'. Maybe Next Time Mark Kia :(

Alyx H

Always treated me great, went for a simple issue that would take time to repair, and they put me in a rental car and even paid for an Uber to get me to the rental place. When I got the Kia two years ago, they let me pick the exact car I wanted without fuss. I hate dealerships, but this place is honestly really nice to work with.

EMP Entertainment

Jordan Duboy is such a great guy helped us out immensely and forms us exactly the model we were looking for

Brigitte Gollner

Drove from Tucson to Phoenix on a Friday afternoon to check out a vehicle on their website. We got there around 245 and waited for at least 20 min after Jorman was called (numerous employees walked by us without even being acknowledged that we were there). Finally a guy comes in (we are thinking he was management) and asked if we had been helped and told him who we were waiting for and lo and behold Jorman is right there. He was one of the employees who walked by us a few times as well. We ended up not liking the vehicle we went there for anyway and went to another dealership to look at a second vehicle that we eventually drove home that night. Mark Kia will be one dealership we will never go to again.

Charletta Green

Just buy a car there it cool but they can use a little more work

matt burton

Excellent Service. Quick. No B.S. I appreciate the help on financing. Thank you Lucas and Maricella. Andie in sales went above and beyond to get the car that I needed. Thank you for listening. I can’t believe how efficient the entire process was. This is the place. I’ll be back.

Nelly Soto

I took my car in to get an oil change on Friday 09-06-2019. Im really impressed because Cody went above and beyond for me. He did everything he could to accommodate my needs. Amazing customer service!! Plus my car was clean when I picked it up.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kaitlyn Mosbarger

My parents had already purchased a vehicle from Mark Kia and had a great experience, so we were happy to come back and buy our other new cars there as well! Kevin definitely did a great job of showing us all the options they had available and then worked hard with financing to get us the best deals possible, including the most for my trade! Car-buying can sometimes be a very stressful experience, and I definitely have had some bad ones in the past, so I’m glad that we found Mark Kia! The staff is all very friendly and helpful, and I know you definitely can not say that about most dealerships!

Sonia Mendez

Mother in law bought her car from Mark Kia me and hubby bought 2 cars from Mark Mitsubishi also very nice manager's at both place their not too pushy neither

Kera Wenaas

Logan Young was an exception car salesman. It did not feel like he was selling me a car but that he was helping me find the car I would have for the next couple years and truly love. He took the time to show me every car possible and helped me find the best deal. I really appreciate all of his help and am very excited for me new car and future relationship with Mark Kia. Thank you, Logan!

Terry Dempsey

Watch out for bait and switch tactics for sure. Purchased a truck that was advertised in an online add, only to find that at the closing of the deal, there were $1500.00 of additional dealer add-ons. That's not what I expect when entering a good faith purchase. I'm going to avoid this dealership. The customer deserves to know all of the charges up front not after the purchase is agreed upon. Buyer beware.

Drew Chumbley

Can’t say enough great things about this place. We visited twice before finally deciding to purchase on the third visit and this dealership was patient and didn’t pressure at all. Isaac and others even went out of their way to explain some questions I had on the loan I was receiving after they had closed. Keep doing what you’re doing mark Kia!

Tonya Olson

Jacob H. was a pleasure to work with. He made the car buying process relatively painless and easy. I would recommend working with Jacob H. at Mark Kia if your in the market to buy a new car.

bob ashcraft

If you are in the market for a Stinger, make sure you read the fine print regarding the "Free Tires for Life" program. Even though the Ad says it, and the sales ppl say it, it does not apply to the Stinger. This program was huge for me. However when it was time for two tires, I was told I signed a document stating the Stinger was no longer in this program and expired in Jan 2019. Even though today (8/21/2019) they advertise Stingers with the Free Tires for Life. So make sure you read the very tiny fine print before you sign! Typical Bait and Switch! Buyer Beware!

George Macias

Had a wonderful service advisor Brandi. She was great to work with would recommend to anyone.

An Vu Do

I love Mark Kia Fix Auto Collision Center. The guy name JR; he is doing extremely perfect what we call customer service. He is friendly; he is helpful. He is willing to work with you. I would recommend to come see him. Keep up the good customer service buddy.

Greg Thompson

Just bought my first new vehicle with Jason Caldera. He was awesome in walking me through every step of the process. I would recommend Mark Kia to everyone and ask for Jason.

Todd Becker

Took our 2017 Sportage in for check up and problem with the door locks. Updates to both engine and trans ecu’s. Tires were rotated and vehicle washed. My experience at Mark Kia was as good as always. I marked 4 stars instead of 5 because it has been almost two weeks and no part yet. I called to check on status of part, No answer. Left a voice mail on Thursday and have not heard back yet.

Nathaniel Gibbs

Purchased a vehicle last saturday but was unable to take home due some repairs and new tires that were promised. Kenny the salesman was nice but told us it would be done by Wednesday. The day came and when we called to verify he said another day was needed that it wasnt done... today we called and Jacob said he doesnt know why they told us that. He says they always do that. But it's not true. When we asked for a update on when he says it can take weeks sometimes... I don't know why it makes us the bad guy but if you buy a car and are given a date and it is not completed that would upset anyone.... as of now Jacob said he would call back with up to date info on what if anything has been done but shocker he is gone for the day... we asked to activate their 3 day return policy since we hadnt even taken possession of the vehicle and they informed us that the time frame had passed even though like i stated we have yet to actually take possession of the vehicle.. But I guess upside is today jacob said he would go out of "his " way to offer us a loaner but didnt really feel like anything was done wrong. So just be warned once you sign they dont care. We will see when we get our car

Bret Burns

The experience was FAR greater than the previous dealerships I worked with. Jorman was knowledgeable, attentive, detailed, and patient when working with us. We never once felt pressured or abandoned. Jorman spent his personal time making sure we were cared for. In negotiations, he made us feel as though he had our best interest in mind. I am now driving my dream car, and every time I do. I'll remember how Jorman helped me make that dream a reality. I will be confident to come back to Jorman and the Mark Kia team for and vehicle purchases in the future. And will not hesitate to refer my friends and family to do the same! Thanks Jorman! And thanks Mark Kia!

I had car service here recently and the experience was great. They had to keep my car longer than expected and a rental car was included in warranty work so they set up everything for me. Most everything was handled over text which works really well for me since I'm often in meetings where I can't take a call. They also worked with me to apply specials to some of the more expensive services I needed. Very smooth and everyone involved was friendly and helpful!

Adrian Ibave

Cody Quiroz helped me purchase a vehicle that was in high demand, luckily I was the first one to test drive it. the team went out of their way to get me a good deal on my new car. Highly recommend these guys

Joe S

Mark KIA met all my needs. I purchased a used Nissan Truck at the end of December. From the sales department to finance and service were attentive to my questions and needs. I returned recently to address a safety issue and they were quick to respond and correct the issue. If you are seeking customer service and a responsive management team Mark Kia is a dealership to consider.

Alvin Vasicek

Jason Aldera was excellent as our sales rep. Would buy from again We appreciate that he was not rattled and a true professional that even bought us lunch.

Austin Denworth

Great dealership to check out if you’re looking for a new Kia!

Kevin Lee Daniels

Friendly, informative, and overall, a solid 4 stars. Not a fan of being talked into something that I was not ready to do just yet. But that's a car salesman, and that's what they're trained to do. Definitely not going to be something that prevents me from returning to the dealership, or potentially buying that particular car.

rogelio mondragon Mondragon

The guys there a really helpful and help me get a good deal I recommend it at least to go talk to them

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! SHADY DEALERSHIP! SHADY SALES MANAGER! SHADY SALES GUYS! 3 1/2 HOURS OF BS! I am not going to call out the names of the individuals who "helped" me here. I wanted to write this review about the dealership as a whole. Let me begin by saying, I don't have good credit. I owe money on a financed car. I wanted to trade this car in and carry over negative equity to a new loan/car. I was willing to put down $8000-$9000 which would have covered most of my negative equity. I might have had $1000-$2000 carry over. I wanted to test drive a 2016 Lexus ES350 and a 2014 Lexus IS250. I test drove the ES350 with one of the salesmen and I loved it. We get back to the dealership and I was ready to test drive the IS250. The salesman disappears for about 10 mins. Comes back and tells me that the IS250 is no good and that the transmission is blown. This is total BS! Why would you advertise a that has a blown transmission!? Don't you check vehicles before you put them up for sale!? This car was still on the website several days after my nightmare experience. Total lie. This definitely had something to do with commissions for that sales scumbag. They ran my credit and my Experian, Credit Karma and Capital One notifications went off like crazy. Hard inquiries are going to hit my credit score and make things worse. I am ok with this because it has to be done. The sales guy who was helping me, disappears later on and is nowhere to be found. I have no idea where this guy is. This is after he presents me with a couple of offers with extremely high APRs and the monthly payments were way above my budget. Even this I am ok with. I told him I will have to wait a couple of months to get some more $ together. Keep in mind this was through their lenders. I got pre-approved by an accredited company who approved me for an APR I was ok with and a monthly payment slightly above my budget but I was ready to move forward. This was a third party who would have paid for the car outright. We got the sales manager involved and thats when everything went south. I got my private lender on the phone with the sales guy and the sales manager. She explained their terms and everything. My lender would have paid them the entire amount of the car. My negative equity would have carried over to their loan. I walked outside to take a look at the car again. I walked back in and was greeted by another sales guy who tells me to walk outside with him. I walk outside with him and he says "they can't sell you the car, they ain't gonna make any money on it". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It's a tag team of clowns and scumbags at this dealership. Take your business and money elsewhere.

Chase Keeler

Good price on the car and the process was real easy and simple. 2 stars because servicing is terrible and I have had multiple issues bringing the car in and keeping it on the road. Every time you call service it's a different story or a hassle. Edit - Reduced to 1 star - condescending manager reached out to me and basically implied it was my fault for they sold me a car with multiple issues. Dont get screwed here, take your car elsewhere.

Joey Sargent

I wouldn't buy a car here if they were 50% off. I got the biggest run around that you can imagine and finally when I was going to purchase the vehicle they lost the keys to the car. I was quite pleasant about it and said no worries me and my wife will stop by tomorrow to make the deal happen and they went ahead and sold it to someone else before we even had an opportunity to get there. they literally sold the car to somebody that couldn't even test drive it because they lost the keys to it. And I'm sitting here waiting for the keys to get remade so I can buy it.

Craig Palmer

I was going to let it be water under the bridge after the bad experience I had, but they continue to reach out to me after I told them that I would never buy a car from Mark Kia and blocked a bunch of email addresses, so screw it. STAY AWAY FROM MARK KIA OF TEMPE. I will admit, I didn't really have much of an idea of what I was doing as it was my first time at a car dealership without my parents there to help me, and they tried to pounce on that fact. The sales person and manager both lied through their teeth about an impossible, easily fixable title issue I had on my almost brand new 2018 car that took less than 10 minutes on the phone with the DMV to fix, and then tried to pressure me into a car I didn't even want after they made the one I did seem like it would be impossible to get into. They acted like they were doing me a favor by 'cutting me a sweet deal' to get the 'unfixable, lemon-title' car off of my hands and get me into something with a clean title, when I would actually have ended up paying almost $40k for a $20k car. And the whole time this was happening they were acting like they were helping me out when they really wanted to figuratively bend me over, financially. I kept saying I wanted to leave and discuss it with friends and family and think it over, yet they kept pressuring me into calling my mom on the spot nearly a half-dozen times so I wouldn't have to. That didn't even matter though because one of the employees kept my keys in their pocket after needing them to check something with the car, so I couldn't have walked out and left anyway because I only had the one set of keys on me. If you don't have extensive experience with car dealers and have a perfectly clear idea of what you are doing and what you want, these people will be more than happy to take you to the cleaners and act like they are looking out for you while they do it. SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK

joseph gallinero

Took care of both my Sportage and a rental for me to have while my Sportage was in service.

Eric Brinker

Pretty nice place, didn't really have a choice on the KIA dealership location to choose since my tire blew. But they were close to the location that it happened at and they provided a Lyft ride to and from my house while the tire was being replaced since I live within 15 miles.

Ray Adams

Had no prodlem with the actual service. However, I requested (for good reason) that they not wash my vehicle. They did! When my wife got into the car we noticed greasy black foot prints on the door jam and the floor mat. Needless to say, I'm not real happy with the overall experience.

Daniel Rivera

Great experience good team of people kevin did an awesome job of getting me into the truck i wanted and not just anything off the lot the wanted to get rid of. Id recommend mark kia to anyone looking for new or used

Roger Bates

Was outstanding. Service beyond my expetation, This is why I drive over 100 miles one way to have my service done.

David & Angela

I have waited to write this review, hoping for improvements. We bought a Kia K900 from this dealership one year ago. Our sales representative was great. Nothing since then has been even close to that. They misrepresent their claims and benefits, do not follow through on their service agreements or promises, and the service staff is absolutely rude and disrespectful. "Tires for Life" is a lie, "maintenance package" is a lie, and it took them nearly seven months of a two-year plan for them to activate the LoJack security that was installed on the car, and still have yet to follow through on getting us a key card key as promised. Due yourself a favor, and find another dealership. This was our first experience at a dealer since moving to Arizona and we definitely will be looking somewhere else for our next purchase.

Marvin Hook

Top quality service every time.

Heather Logan

Jewlie blatantly lied to me to the point where I had to go in the office with the managers at the end of the transaction. They also write their numbers in a hidden way as if tax you would save on your car is part of the trade in value. Hated the majority of the 4 hrs I was there. It should have been an in and out deal since I knew exactly what I wanted and they dragged it out. Only good part was the 10 min with Peter in financing, he actually did what he said he would do. Would recommend going anywhere else.

Frank Gianforte

Recently purchased a new Kia Soul at Mark Kia from Jason Caldera. Far from my first time in a dealership, Jason made the car buying process quick and simple. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Ray

Two recent experiences. 1. Came to get the essentials package that included an oil change. They provided me a Lyft back home and actually finished quite promptly. Everything went very well. They even applied my coupon before I said anything up front. Although unable to wash my car due to a damaged mirror. Understandable. I was told that I still had some recalls on my vehicle despite coming in a few months ago, so I went ahead and rescheduled for the next week (today). 2. Arrived and dropped my car off for the recalls. Everything seemed well until I realized the Lyft that was called didn't go through (was going home since I was told it would take quite a few hours), so I contacted Cody and he was very helpful in getting me the ride since it was canceled. I just suppose there was a gross miscommunication because 45 seconds into the Lyft home, I received a call from Mark Kia letting me know that the recalls were already completed and I could pick up my car--and as my ride had already left, he wasn't able to drive me back directly. So now I'm writing this from the backseat of a ride I didn't need to take in the first place. And I'll have to waste more time calling for another ride back. 5 stars for quality service the first time around. 2 stars for wasting my time with an unnecessary appointment when I asked for confirmation and having to take a ride back and forth for apparently no reason.

Sally Elsberry

First time at this dealer and took my car in for a recall fix. The service man at the drive up was very friendly and efficient and had me checked in in a short why, answering several of my questions very knowledgeably. My only complaint would be the temperature in the service area customer wait lounge. It was so cold that I moved around to another room trying to find some place that was warmer. It felt like the A.C. was on and the temperature outside was in the fifties? I managed to find a door in the back of the room that was hot as if air was blowing on it and managed to stay relatively comfortable. Noticed a men's restroom sign pointing to the back of the building and when I went to the back room to try and get warm I noticed the door on the restroom had a female, a male and a handicapped sign so I went it but the toilet was plugged so unusable. Later on when walking around the show room, I noticed a "women"s bathroom" sort of obscured by some advertising signs which was in better condition. The people behind the service/parts desk were more than friendly and helpful. I purchased some floor mats and the gentleman took them out to the back of my car when the service was completed. Would have given them a 5 star rating had it not been for the temperature and the bathroom condition.

James Chavez

This was the worst freaking experience of my life dealing with the service department. In fact I have never had a good experience going to Mark Kia in Scottsdale. Each time I have been there the incompetence of the staff is unbelievable. On this occasion I went because I had a small coolant leak on my Kia optima. I left it at 8:30 in the morning as I had a scheduled appointment. I was finally got out of that place at 4:30 in the afternoon. Most of my time was spent dealing with the 20-year-old female service attendant that took the keys to my car when I first arrived. I ended up feeling sorry for this girl because first she told me there was no leak and I had to argue with her because I knew in fact there was a leak. Then they sent her back to tell me that the only thing they can find was my oil plug was a little loose and maybe that’s where the fluid was coming from. I asked if I could go inside the shop and speak with the manager. The manager agreed to let me take the car for a 30 minute drive bring it back so I could show him that there Was in fact a coolant leak. When I returned I showed the staff and the manager how the coolant was pooling up at the bottom of the radiator. He agreed that in fact there was a leak. During this time I went to grab some lunch and about three more hours past. I finally got impatient and walked into the shop with the service tech receptionist. Once again the mechanics would not speak to me leaving the hard conversations to the service tech receptionist. She then proceeded to show me that I had a non-factory clamp on the hose that was leaking and they would not fix it I laughed and told them to put everything back together and I would fix it myself. I then saw the manager and expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the quality and incompetence of his staff. I told him that they had informed me they would not fix the leaking hose because it did not have a factory clamp on the hose. I explained that this is how I bought this vehicle from Mark Kia. I do admit I was irate by this time. The manager called me down and let me know that he would get it fixed. The only good thing I could say about this experience is that the manager did what he said he would do. Although it almost took an act Of congress to get him to do it. Never buy a vehicle from this place.

Cynthia Ramsey

Had a great experience with Mark Kia Travis the Service Writer was on it. My Soul had an air conditioning problem took it in and all was covered by my extended warranty, plus my rental car. From the time I dropped the car off Travis scheduled my Lyft ride, car rental and insurance claim. I really was pleased at the ease of getting everything done.

Shanna Dyott

I will never go back, rude people working there.

Annie P

We recently bought a new car at Mark Kia, and Emmanuel was great throughout the entire process. He was very friendly and easy going. Listened to what we wanted, and we didn’t feel pressured at all. He was also very sweet to our kids. We love our new car! Thanks, Manny!

Dan Lopez

I bought my vehicle a month ago and before I purchased it I had informed them that I will be driving the vehicle out of state. As I am waiting for my registration and license plate I give them a call after a month and they tell me that I had to bring my vehicle to the dealership for them to perform an emissions test on the vehicle. You’d think they would have gave me a call when they realized they needed an emissions test rather than waiting for me to call days before my temporary permit expires. I was calling the title department for 2 days and no answer along with leaving my number for them to call back. The third day I finally got a call back from them explaining to me that they sent my title to my bank. Thanks to my bank I had the option to register my car here in the state in which I temporarily live in. Not only do I have to pay for the state emissions but also an extra $300 to register my vehicle and my license plate. Need I say I paid the dealership to handle the registration and license plate just for them not to do their job now I am paying another state for something they should have done. Definitely do not recommend this dealership for service members who travel the country and I will not be buying or doing business with this dealership again.

Jeremy Clark

Came in today to test drive a 2011 Ford F-150 and spent 1 1/2 hours walking and driving around trying to locate the vehicle with the salesman. Finally after locating the vehicle we attempt to start the truck and the battery is dead. Then 2 guys show up with a jump start battery and the battery they brought was almost just as dead as the truck. Then in their attempt to get things right they don’t even have the right tools to pull the battery cable. I mention I have tools in my car so the salesman asks me to get them so they can get the truck started, needless to say I wasted 3 hours of my time literally for nothing. I guess almost nothing as I was able to show the helpless salesman and lot attendants how to properly be prepared for issues that arise. Anyhow something or someone was obviously telling me not to buy the vehicle, but I could have at least been compensated for my labor. Oh well

Frank M

Not having the best credit and In the process of building it, no one would refinance my awful loan from a buy here pay here. These guys were great, not only did a trade in that everyone else denied, but put me in a 2019 Kia Soul. The entire staff was great. The only thing that sucked was being at a car dealer all day, but that’s how it goes. If you want to go here, I recommend Jacob Hill. He was my sales guy.

Yaira Holguin

Great service, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Ask for; Pablo Quirindongo. He made my car buying experience a fast, and amazing one.

Mark Pearson

May be a descent dealer, however I walked in with financing in my hand, negotiated for the used vehicle I wanted. Asked then to give me price on my vehicle. They came in less than half off Kelly blue book price. Just had appraisal done at Jeep dealer they would give me blue book price. I felt insulted and left. Went back to the jeep dealer and bought new Jeep. Suggest you do your homework before coming here!!!!

Anjel de Sol

Garbage attitudes and intimidation tactics from "managers." You all need some professional customer service training. In this day and age, we can fact check you in real time, so attempting the bait and switch and skewing numbers doesn't work. Sorry not sorry that we walked out on your attempt to rip us off.

Angel Rojas

DO NOT BUY a vehicle from this dealership!!! They told us they did a $700 tint job on the vehicle , when I asked for proof of the work that was done on it they couldn’t give me an invoice for it because they didn’t tint anything. Basically they just throw in the $700 charge for a tint job which is unheard of , even high end ceramic tint doesn’t cost $400!. If you do end up buying from them , make sure you ask for proof of the tint job which by the way is not optional. Thieves in suits here

David S

The service was quick and professional. The only complaint I have is the extremely limited space to get into / out of the service area. There was a single available lane to the service area, with cars packed/parked in the second lane.

Dumitru Gudima

Avoid this place! I PROVIDED THE LICENCE AND INSURANCE, signed the weaver, yet the manager said he's not comfortable with me & my wife being in a car without their representative. I was asking for some private time in the parking lot, not even a test drive! The reason is I'm a humble person and I hate wasting anyone's time unless I'm seriously considering purchasing. To be clear I make enough to buy the car cash. Do your self a favor, fire you manager. Edit: did you even read my review before answering? I provided the licence and proof of insurance! Edit2: ha, protecting your company from customers :)))) Let me tell you how you should of replied. I'm sorry for caused inconvenience, give us a chance to make it right to you. Although I wouldn't, but at least there's a chance in future and it looks better for anyone reading this.

Kirk

Good car, good price, friendly salesman. Had to wait a long time to get to the finance office to finalize the paperwork and write out a check. The long wait soured a good experience. Too bad.

Vanessa Zweifel

This place has unfortunately gone down hill in the past year. I’ve bought two cars from them and taken my car to them for all my service needs since 2011, specifically because of their customer service. I’ve noticed they lost some really great staff members though and my most recent service appointment will probably be my last. The customer service reps are not friendly or helpful, the waiting room and bathrooms are dirty, and there is no benefit to going there over another place as far as pricing goes. Such a shame.

Blu

Good luck here, they're nice and all but they're paid for that. They're also paid for constant lying about every single thing possible. Its impossible to get a straight forward answer within a week and you'll have to argue so much for the truth. Don't expect honesty. Also extremely dirty, I've never seen walls this gross and carpet so stained. It looks like a dump.

Chris Legg

Brandon in sales and Dave in finance were amazing. Simple process, friendly, knowledgeable and not once did I feel pressured about anything. I know this Kia Optima is going to last for years but I will definitely be back next time I need a car. Highly recommend this store and have heard the same about the other Mark dealerships.

Ruth Sjaardema

It was very pleasant and even though they were incredibly busy it didn't take super long. Was very satisfied

Brittany Alfaro

Jacob hill literally went out of his way to provide me the best customer service experience ever. He went out of his way to make the whole process fast and easy. I deff recommend coming here if you want great service and no hard selling. Jacob you are fantastic. Business’s like this stay in business bc they truly listen to the customers needs. Thanks mark Kia! Ask for Jacob!! :)

katie burns

i love mark kia, they always take good car of my car at the collision center! pierre and his team are the best!

Suzi Mess

This dealership has zero respect for its customer's time. I called ahead and provided the stock number of the car I was interested in. I spoke with Frank and informed him that I was driving from TUCSON to see the car. He said it would be ready and waiting for me out front. When we arrived, the car was no where to be seen. He then spent 15 minutes looking for it. When he finally found it, he told us it was, "getting inspected." When I asked him to clarify, he said it was getting a saftey inspection. When I asked him why they had a car listed for sale for several days that hadn't already passed a saftey inspection, he couldn't give me a direct answer. He then proceeded to show us the car in a dark and empty garage, THAT WAS ON A LIFT. He opened the door and asked us if we wanted to check it out. A car, that was 5 feet in the air. He then literally tried to sell it to us. Like to do the paperwork contingent on that we liked it after a test drive at some unknown date. I was honestly flabbergasted. I didn't realize we had, "desperate idiots" written across our foreheads. Through all of this, Frank was completely unapologetic, ignoring the fact he had informed us that he would have the car ready and he knew full well we were driving over two hours to see it. I will never give my business to a Mark dealership and I would suggest you look elsewhere as well.

Romone Barner

No show..went through 2 dealers and I felt hustled .. yeah I'm good on that place

Caitlin Leinart

Terrible customer service, they’re extremely difficult to get ahold of and will lie to your face. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from here or doing ANY types of service at this location.

Jeff Lowy

I called at the last minute for 30K service and a warning light issue. Jasmine got me in right away, worked with my bizarre schedule, so I dropped my car off at 3:00pm. Got a great loaner car and came back the next day at 2:30pm. Everything taken care of efficiently and effectively. Full 30K service plus the warning light issue and a recall sticker. Only concern? Oil change, filters, transmission fluid, tire rotation etc., over $600? Seems a little pricy for Kia. I might’ve expected that at a Mercedes dealer. So, great service, personal attention. Just a little much on the fees, I think.

james bahe

Had a good experience. Jason the online guy was quick and knowledgeable about the inventory . He was able to get me payments where I wanted them at. And Jason went above and beyond with customer service and delivered my car to my home because I was in a rush. So next time I want another car I am 4 sure coming back to Mark Kia. If it's your first time getting a new car a recommend it.

Brady Bocks

Everything about Mark Kia made buying my first car a great experience. Juan was a great sales associate and made my car search his number one priority. I left a very happy customer. Can’t wait to come back and see everyone for my first maintenance. Thanks Mark Kia.

Kelvin Miranda

Pretty terrible experience. Had an appointment scheduled for 1030 that got moved from 10 to 1030 to 11. Had about three people emailing me about times. When I showed up, the salesperson wasn’t ready and couldn’t find the keys for the car, and then told me it was sold but we could discuss new models if I was interested.

I bought a 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ with 29,000 miles from Mark Kia about 3 months ago and IT WAS A LEMON!!! I understand I as the buyer should have done my due diligence so I take blame also. But the driver seat wast off track and they claimed they would fix it. The driver side arm rest completely fell off (I weight 175lbs). The bike rack flew up. The back up camera went out. My front collision sensor has never properly worked and said it didn’t work a few days after I left the lot. And just today I had to spend $2500 dollars at Goodyear in repairs. $2500!!! This is after 3 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. I never thought I would need to bring my mechanic when buying a used car with very few miles from a supposedly respected dealership. Worst buying experience I’ve ever had. And I’ve bout plenty of cars. I suggest CHAPMAN to buy new or used cars. I bought 4 cars from Chapman and they always had great service and vehicles. DO NOT BUY FROM MARK KIA. They literally got a used Tahoe and didn’t even make minor fixes before the resale. HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP.

Justin

Most unprofessional car dealership I have ever been to.

Pat Pinckard

We have been decieved from the moment we walked in. They promised free tires for the life of the car but it doesn't cover blowouts or road hazards. We were told we would have free oil changes but only until you get to the cashier. The sales people basically wouldn't let us out the door. The car has been good but never going back there

TristansAdventures t

This dealerships reviews speak for them self. They wont budge one dollar on a car as everything is negotiable at car dealerships. They wont acknowledge sales prices. They charge you window tint on a car that already had tint installed. They shove fees in to the equation hoping you wont catch them. Gap insurance as they get a kick back for that not to mention large dealer Fees that make Mercedes and or BMW's fees look cheap we have owned six bmw's since 2003. They say that they offer high trade ins which is false they offered me 2.8K less than dealer trade in on a car that is in 10/10 Condition that's never been driven in the rain or parked outside as I work in a parking garage and park it in our four car garage at home. To the other reviews i don't believe them they're either fake people or they're very very gullible people. I have never seen a dealership with so many negative reviews online back to back. I went to another dealership with the same car (No Name) and they told me that they pick up maybe 5%-10% of there customers a year. This dealership #1 negotiated, #2 No Bogus dealer fees, #3 Gave me the *Actual Trade In Value* upon further inspection this dealership has been turned in to the state for Malpractice many times. Your Life and time is priceless save your life by not going here. Tristan. Scottsdale AZ.

Eric Howarth and Jason Caldera took great care of us when we purchased a used car at Mark Kia yesterday. They worked around both my husband's and my nutty work constraints, worked with us as we added and removed features, etc and made sure we got a good deal. When it was all said and done, my husband and I were having some challenges related to picking the car up after it was finished being washed and detailed. Jason offered, without hesitation, to drive it to our house later that evening! Totally unexpected but such a help! I'd recommend Mark Kia to anyone.

Timothy Manzo

Jacob hill and seth did an ASTOUNDING job today taking in my older vehicles in on trade and put me in a brand new kia soul!! On top of that Jacob threw in free tires for life! Jacob Hill and Seth are a great team. Thanks guys!

Ian Gray

I brought my Rio in for an oil change. After a two hour wait, I returned home and checked my dip stick to make sure that the oil level was correct. The oil level was over the "full" line and looked dark. We ended up draining all of the oil out because it was completely black (obviously never changed.) This is completely fraudulent and unprofessional behavior. I expect more from Mark Kia.

Colton Jenson

Great service, Johnny helped me out, nice guy. Whole staff very friendly and fun

I am only giving one star, because I have too. My recent experience with this dealership I would say at least left a bad taste. I had found a vehicle, white in color, that I was interested in on the internet at Mark Mitsubishi on Bell Road. Mark Mitsubishi is owned by the same company as Mark KIA. I had sent an email and requested to be called about this vehicle. Within 5 minutes I received a call from Andie, a sales woman, from Mark Kia in Scottsdale. Andie said she was calling about my inquiry on the vehicle (White) and she could have the vehicle transferred to their dealership in Scottsdale, since we lived closer to this dealership. It was getting late, we agreed to go and see the vehicle the next day at 4PM. In addition, Andie said I would be getting a call from her sales manager in the morning to confirm our appointment. The next morning I received a call from Josh, the sales manager at Mark Kia, to confirm our appointment at 4pm to see the "black" vehicle. I said no, "the vehicle we were interested in and was supposed to be transferred over was white". Josh said, "well there is was a sale pending on that vehicle". Josh didn't say, he made a mistake, or I am sorry the vehicle you wanted has a sale pending. He clearly tried to get me to come in and see a different vehicle, hoping I would not notice he said, black. When I said I was not interested, Josh said he would call me if the sale fell through. My wife later called and spoke with Ramon at Mark Mitsubishi and asked about the same vehicle. Ramon said he was detailing the vehicle now for us to come look at to night at 7:30. When my wife said, the vehicle was to be transferred to the Mark Kia, Ramon said, he did not know anything about that. My wife asked Ramon, was there a sale pending on that vehicle? Ramon replied, no! My wife later received a call from Andie, the original sales person. Andie said, they should have sent the vehicle over, but instead kept it there, because someone else had called later wanting to see the vehicle. Andie went on to say there was not a sale pending, but if we still wanted the vehicle, there would be additional charges of $639, since they had put on window tinting and one other item. The other item could be removed, but the window tinting could not. When I heard this, I thought this was odd, because the photo on the internet shows the vehicle appeared to already have window tinting on it. Since I was at work, I asked my wife to call Ramon again and ask if they had put window tinting on the vehicle. When she did this, Ramon replied, no! When my wife explained to Ramon all that had happened, he was very apologetic and said "It appears someone is trying to sabotage you buying that vehicle. In review: Mark KIA attempted to switch vehicles on us and then was going to charges us for services and products they had not performed or installed. There is a happy ending to this. The next day we found a similar vehicle at Caravana and bought it!

Luz Villa

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Mark Kia and the experience was phenomenal. It was important that I get the right vehicle since I had been in a car accident last year that left me without a car. Isaac the sales guy was very nice and made the process very smooth. He answered every question that I had and made sure I was comfortable. Thanks to Isaac I am very satisfied and I would definitely recommend mark Kia to anyone. If you need a car Isaac is your guy!!

Liji Shynu

Staff is very polite and helpful and would try to match their requirements

Got great repair on warranty work on Optima. Service advisor Brandi did a great job following up and making sure all warranty work was completed. Car was shiny and clean when we picked it up. Very happy with the service!

Brandi Cunningham has always been extremely helpful to me. Whether it's good or bad news for me, she is always honest with me and I sincerely appreciate that the most. It feels good to be able to trust in something. It's what keeps me coming back to the Service Center.

Buyer Beware! I purchased not one, but two vehicles from this dealership at the same time. I had recently purchased another vehicle from a different Mark dealership as well. You would think I would be treated well after that, but not the case. Not only did I have to wait for hours for the finance department, but they also tacked on thousands of dollars worth of warranties. I had to drive from the West Valley to Scottsdale multiple times for recurring issues, and never once were they even apologetic. One of the cars developed $2500 worth of repairs needed less than 5000 miles off the lot. Not even an offer of a discount on the repairs, and of course, the warranties were a scam that paid nothing. The sales manager was the biggest jerk I’ve ever met, and tried everything he could to charge me for window tent and other things that were not even on the car. Getting a call back from finance is impossible. Once you get tired of waiting and go to the lot, the finance department just ignores you, hoping you’ll get tired and leave. This is just an old-fashioned garbage car lot with sneaky tactics and slimy bait and switch meant to separate you from the money you work hard for. Do yourself a favor and skip this headache.

Pushy, worst car buying experience ever; they ran my boyfriend's credit without letting us know they were doing that and without his consent, before he had made a decision about even wanting the vehicle or not. Pushy about "mandatory extras" such tinting on a vehicle that was already tinted. Ended up walking, and weeks later finding out about the hard credit pull on his record. Pulling a credit check was never mentioned and we weren't provided any paperwork nor did we sign anything. Update: I contacted their customer relations department as suggested in their reply to my review, and have not received any response.

Shady shady and more shade! Purchased not only one, but TWO vehicles that both had the end result - revised carfax reports AFTER the purchase. When both vehicles were bought, the carfax was "clean" and the vehicle was "accident free". After I purchased the first vehicle, miraculously the carfax showed that the vehicle was in fact in an accident and was a rental. Second vehicle - same issue. An accident was shown on the carfax report after I had purchased the vehicle...but it occurred 6 months prior to purchasing it. Coincidence that this happened with TWO vehicles bought from them??!? I think not. I am now convinced that this dealership buys vehicles that have been involved in accidents at a cheap price, completes any necessary work to fix them, then sells them before the accident will show up on a carfax report without disclosing the damage to the customer. If you're purchasing new, you may not have issues, otherwise, stay away from ANY Mark dealership if purchasing a used vehicle.

Horrible place. Don't go here. They bait and switch on people, which is ILLEGAL. Find a small dealership that will CARE about you. Not use you for money.

Caleb Sommer

Great service! Jasmine really did a great job! I appreciate her. The whole cost of a mirror was kind of ridiculous but whatever it’s a dealership. 320 for the part, 140 in labor sounds little excessive for a simple side mirror change. Also since both of mine were broken from car washes, I hope Kia acknowledges that the side mirrors that break easily

Great experience at Mark Kia! Kevin was awesome... extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle I bought. Thanks for making this car buying experience easy & effortless!

Brian Hughes

I always get my car serviced at Mark Kia with Brandi. She is professional, and knowledgeable. Everyone there has been fantastic to work with.

Emmanuel Nolan was amazing! Don't let a bad experience at one Kia dealership deter you from starting over at Mark Kia. I went through the Gilbert and Tempe Kia location before finding Mark Kia and my 2018 CERTIFIED used Kia Sedona. I love my vehicle, and I was in and out in under 2 hours. We had the terms all but handled before I walked in the door and their were NEVER any tricks. No-one took my keys, no-one tried to push me into anything I didn't want and they listened. They heard my priorities and Emmanuel worked to make it happen. I will admit that buying a car is an intimidating process; and I've made many vehicle purchases over the years. If you need a vehicle and some direction go see Emmanuel! Everyone at Mark Kia was great from my initial online greeting to my final signature. Trust me East valley.... It's worth the drive!

Bought my first car here and did not have much information on the process. Jason was my dealer and helped me out a ton considering I’m a college kid and haven’t had much experience with dealerships. There’s no hidden fees and the process is pretty simple. You know exactly what you’re buying and everyone is super helpful.

Aaron Coleman

This place is the worst. Literally tried to buy a car from them TWICE!

Brandon Brackenbury

Mark Kia is an amazing place to purchase your next vehicle. The staff is friendly, helpful and wiling do what they can to work with their customers to ensure that they leave knowing they were provided the best customer service. We worked with Brandon and he was extremely helpful and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. He really went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend requesting him as your sales rep when visiting Mark Kia in Scottsdale. We are very satisfied with our experience and even more satisfied with our new car!!!

Owner of the dealership is in possession of a used 2020 Telluride SX AWD, but it is the Canadian version. This car sells brand new for $49,995 Canadian dollars, or $37,496.25 US dollars. The car is used and the owner doesn't even have it on the lot for a test drive but is still trying to sell it for $45,995 US dollars. That's right. A mark-up of more than $8,000 above MSRP for a USED car. I sat down expecting to have a conversation about price and what I got was the typical car dealership tactic of making you wait. I wish we could get past the part of trying to wear people down at a car dealership by stretching the process out and prolonging it as much as possible. I don't have time to be at the dealership for hours, I have time to have a quick exchange of fair and honest figures, and that's just not what I got. They have removed the vehicle from their website but be on the lookout if it comes back up, it's a black SX AWD but you'll notice a bench seat in the second row instead of captain's chairs and the "S" model wheels not the black "SX" wheels, that's how you can tell it is the Canadian car. They are trying to deceive people into thinking this is just like an American SX AWD, but it's not. It's the second trim up from the bottom in Canada, not the top trip like here. Also, they seem to be trying to recoup costs of duty and importation and shipping getting here from Canada, as if you are buying it from Canada yourself. Don't fall for this, the car is here, you don't need to pay for those costs that they may or may not have incurred, that was the dealership's choice and cost of doing business. As for the "market adjustment" they will try to push to justify the inflated price point, don't let them sucker you on that. There is no market established for the vehicle. It is not the same as the US SX AWD, so don't let them try to sell it to you that way. I'll try them again to see if they come to their senses but for now 2 stars for creativity in getting that particular vehicle, but no way I can go higher because of the blatant tired tactics utilized.

Bought my 2014 Kia Sorento SXL brand new from this dealership. Never owned a Kia before, but made the purchase because of their 10 year/100K warranty. After 5 years of ownership, the engine blew at 93K miles and left me stranded on the side of the road. Had it towed back to the dealership for a new engine under the warranty. They claimed to have found "oil jelly" in the engine compartment and asked for oil records, which I gladly grabbed from my files and emailed to them. They still denied the warranty claiming "neglect". Turns out Mark Kia only turned in 4 of my 9 receipts to Kia Corp to defend the warranty repair. After nearly a month, and after again sending in the proper receipts...they still wouldn't fix the car and offered us no explanation. They tried to pass the blame saying that it was "up to corporate" whether they honored the warranty or not. We had to tow the car to a friend's auto body shop and pay out-of-pocket for a new engine. Stay FAR away from this shady dealer. They'll play chicken with you until you give up fighting...

I had a pleasurable experience today with Jacob hill! He got me into the first time buyers program. I upgraded from my 1995 geo to a beautiful 2014 Scion! We got lunch together and the day turned out great! The team at mark Kia are great all around! Thanks Jacob and thank you to the finance team at mark Kia! 5 stars hands down ! Will be back for my next vehicle 100 percent!

Stay away from Mark Kia. bought a used 2017 Kia Sedona van which was advertised on the internet as having a clean car fax. When we are signing the sales papers they suddenly disclose a car fax report with minor damage on front bumper supposedly less than $300 in damage. We now find out from Farmers Insurance the vehicle has two car fax reported incidences with a diminished value of $900 and an open recall after being told that all recalls were up to date. We waited an extra day for the van to be detailed and waxed. When we picked it up it was not detailed just washed. We took the vehicle to another detailer who exclaimed the detail job if done was very poor and showed us there was no wax at all on the roof. Dishonest at best.

Best car purchase I've ever made

Very unprofessional experience. I scheduled an appointment to look at a specific car today. I received a call about 20 min prior to appointment asking if I was still coming. On my way I said. I show up the sales person the appointment is with is busy so we talk with another sales person the first question they ask is are you buying today? Well I would like to see the car and drive it first. Then we wait 20 min for them to bring the car up. During this time from the employees only room music is blasting while people are yelling to each other because they couldn't hear each other. When the car does arrive for test drive the car is out of gas. Lol so we start the test drive to go get gas. During drive sales person couldn't answer any questions about the vehicle. Upon return they ask what we thought I said well if price is right we may have a deal. They said well we don't negotiate so take it or leave it. We left it. Funny thing was my offer was $500 below online price no counter offer total disrespect. Do not deal with this dealership.

Brandi was a fantastic service advisor. This was my first time at this dealership and I will be back for all future maintenance. Thank you, Brandi!! The service center got me in the day I called and set up a Lyft to bring me back to the dealership promptly. Very satisfied!

Brandy Aminah-Zahira Chase

The salesman was friendly and did his best to help me and even assured me his manager would get me an uber/lyft back down the street a block to my hotel so I wouldnt have to walk back. But overall it felt impersonal and like they were rushing to get you in and out (although in reality it took longer than it should have but they were busy that day). When I said I needed time to think over the pricing range and offer til 3pm (it was 12pm by then), they got very pushy and then cold. As I left, the manager informed the salesman not to get me the uber/lyft,....well, thank you very much i payed my own $4 and by 3pm informed them I wouldnt be accepting their offer. The dealership was very smoozy when they want your money.

Catalina Carrasco

I get my oil change there. They wash my car too for me after.. nice service.

Frank our sales man and Paul our finance guru were both amazing. I was in and out, got a very great deal on our new telluride, service was second to none. Thank you for a great experience at Mark Kia. I will recommend you to all friends and family.

Moral of the story: USE A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP.! If you’d like to continue reading, here’s our story! My husband and I came in to buy a specific Jeep we liked. The car buying process itself, while long, wasn’t the worst part of the experience. They did tell us we couldn’t use any outside financing. Because of this, we were forced to use theirs, which tacked on a fee for them providing the financing. Ok, my fault for not reading the fine print. We got talked into the extended warranty “bumper to bumper”. It sounded good, so we added that as well. Finally the day is over, somewhat painful, but I have my new Jeep! Let’s just say it didn’t get better. In our purchase agreement, we had to have some door hinges fixed. This took two full weeks without them calling with any updates. We called several times to see about the status, left multiple messages, and never received a call back. We eventually went in and asked for our car back. Surprisingly, the hinges got fixed. Our most recent experience, the check engine light came on. My husband pulled the code and knew what was wrong. However with our “warranty”, we took it to Mark Kia. It was a full week before they even called to tell us what code came up. They told us the EGR valve and the computer was spitting our faulty codes. Ok fine, fix it. Shocker: it wasn’t covered in our “bumper to bumper warranty”. It would be $1600 to fix. After much back and forth and another week, they agreed to take $200 off. But, get this, they forget to mention the $230 fee to reprogram the faulty computer. So my “discount” ended up costing me $30 more. Eventually I went in and got my car back, because again, I couldn’t get a single call back from anyone about my car. Luckily my husband fixed the issue and we cancelled the warranty. I would not buy another car from Mark Kia and will not be taking by car there for the “free” oil changes they have offered. I’d rather pay then deal with that.

Kristin

They sold me a lemon! I purchased a used 2017 Ford Expedition less than 6 months ago. Since purchasing it, my backup camera stopped working, my AC went out, and there is a random clunking sound that cannot be pin pointed. They were quick to sell me a $3,000 extended warranty BUT THE SERVICE CHARGE IS $200 PER OCCURRENCE so I cancelled it. Do not buy anything used from them!

Angela Leonard

This was by far the BEST car-buying experience I have ever had. Chip was so easy to work with and very straight-forward. I bought a used car here and they gave me everything I asked for. They did take some time to fix some minor issues before I actually took it home, and I appreciated that very much. They could have let me drive it off the lot then have me deal with those issues myself later, but they took the initiative and did the repairs at no additional cost to me. I got the price I wanted and I was very happy that they gave me exact Kelley Blue Book for my trade. The trade-in value was a big deal for me since I had been insulted by 3 previous dealerships with them all offering FAR less than Kelley Blue Book. (Those 3 were Chapman, Bill Luke and Airpark Jeep). I didn't even have to negotiate at Mark Kia. It was so easy and I am definitely going to buy again from this dealership. Chip took very good care of me and I absolutely recommend buying a car here!

Nicole Marciniak

5 stars hands down mark Kia! Jacob hill took his time with us making sure we got top dollar for our trade and finding the perfect truck within our budget. I appreciate how fast it was also! Normally at dealerships it takes 3 hours. Jacob had us out in an hour. Thanks Mark Kia! And thank you Jacob!

Gundega Kanepe-Mikulane

Don't purchase from them! They will try to sale you KAHU service, will charge, but they can’t provide service, they don’t know how KAHU works, can’t install timely, can’t send you Pin for KAHU, will ignore your emails and calls. Basically they will sell you something you can’t use! After sale service is horrible ! Strongly, I do not recommend! Poor experience and not keeping promises !

Bennie Dimas

First time buyer. Max and Lucas were great. Very friendly and made it happen. Everyone was easy to work with and I feel like I got a great deal for what I was looking for.

Kelly Pelto

Shopping at Mark Kia for a vehicle was probably the best car buying experience I've ever had and I've had a lot of them over the years. Sales person wasn't pushy. Was courteous and friendly and offered suggestive options. Was completely up front with everything and didn't play the YoYo sales game. Will definitely shop at Mark Kia again.
