Horne Kia employs the right people! I picked up a nail in one if my tires. I had purchased the Road Hazard Program when I purchased my car and when I called Horne, Jose helped explain the program again and that it covered my tire and visit that day. My wait time, without an appt was a little over an hour and I had my car serviced too! I would recommend working with their staff, they are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. You get the same type of service whether you are their buying a car or using their service dept.

Now I know why used car dealers have such a shady reputation. I went in to buy a car and found one I liked. I was told the list price was $13800. It was a fair price for the car considering the amount of miles on it for a 2017 vehicle. However when we sat down to sign papers the car was now over $18,900. I understood that $1500 - $1900 would be tax, license, registration. But dealer incentives of over $3000. I know it doesn't cost that much to tint windows , get new mats and spray a can of scotchguard on the seats. But the manager started whining and said they have to make money and if they had put the honest price in the window I wouldn't have come in to see it. He actually stated that all the other car dealers do it too. So I told him just because everyone else is dishonest you don't have to be too. Then I got up and left. Beware and plan on spending no less than $5000 over the sticker price.

Went to look at a used car, Joseph showed us around the lot and we landed on a great deal with a great car. Even got free Taco Bell which he got himself while we were waiting on paperwork lol. He cleaned the car off in the delivery room and put the temp plates on as well! Great experience would definitely recommend to come here if you’re looking for a good deal and good service.

My wife and I traveled 7 hours to the Phoenix area to purchase a new vehicle because our local dealer didn’t have what we wanted. After having a really bad experience at another Kia Dealership in the morning, we drove to Horne Kia to see what options they had. What a breath of fresh air it was. Our Salesperson was Liam, he showed us exactly what we asked for without being pushy. Many times, it seems that after the sales person hands you off to finance, all customer service skills go out the window. That WAS NOT the experience we had today. Al came to visit with us and it felt as if he genuinely cared about getting us our new vehicle and fitting it into our budget. Once we agreed on some numbers with Al, we then moved on to Wendy. We sat in her office with our 3 young sons who had been car shopping for WAY too long at that point, and she was soooooo kind. Making sure that everyone had snacks while she tackled the mountain of paperwork that comes along with purchasing a new vehicle. And to top it all off, we found some body damage on the vehicle, so they got it swapped out for a different one immediately and Wendy had to re-do all of the paperwork! All in all, it has been a VERY long day, but it takes a lot of time to buy a vehicle on a busy Saturday. I am so grateful for the level of service that we received today. So to Liam, Al, Wendy, and the other behind the scenes people that we didn’t meet, I say thank you!!!

Initially I gave Kia Horne one star for selling us a used vehicle whose engine blew 30 days after purchase. It was our daughters first car. She worked endless hours to save up for her down so it was very disappointing to see her vehicle die on her. Initially calls to Kia Horne went unheard. After my post Josh, the GM, reached out and since that contact Kia Horne has been the embodiment of Excellent Customer service. End result, Kia took the car off my daughter hands and assisted her in getting another car. Can't say other dealerships would do the same. Bob Woolsey was the icing on the deal. The man went above and beyond. Go there and ask for Bob. Can't get anymore genuine when it comes to car salesmen. Kia Horne came through, true to their word.

One year ago my 2012 Sorento stalled out and the engine failed. For ONE YEAR I've had to deal with Horne, Kia Consumer Affairs and Kia Escalated Affairs and I still don't have a car. Horne has replaced my engine THREE times and every time the engine has failed. It's been a month since my 3rd replacement engine has failed and nobody will return my calls. I'm wondering if they are putting faulty old engines in my car just so they can take back the loaner car. Now I have no loaner car and a dead Sorento waiting to be towed. Do not buy a Kia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything about Kia is a nightmare!!!

Eric was AMAZING!!! I barely pulled into the service area before someone came to my car and greeted me. I walked into the office about 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment and everyone was so friendly. Eric was very accommodating. He pulled up my recent service records from February and asked if I had any vehicle issues outside of needing an oil change. I advised I needed a new key fob battery. Eric explained how to access and start my car should the battery ever die on my key fob. While I waiting he went out to do a quick inspection of my car. Upon coming back he advised me that my battery was pretty low and needed replacing. I held my breath at that replacement. But Eric quickly eased my concerns and said he’d check to see if it were still under warranty. Lucky for me it BARELY was. You wanna talk about timing of this servicing for my 2016 Optima!!! The battery was replaced, oil change done with full inspection, and tires rotated. Can’t forget the car wash, my car was filthy! He advised me of a little wear on my tires and suggested an alignment my next trip. Everything passed with flying colors. The waiting area is very comfy. Fresh popcorn popping in the main lobby. Complementary coffee, snacks, and water while you wait. I can’t say enough about this place. My second visit and again, it did not disappoint! This is where I’ll continue to service and get repairs done. Thank you Eric and Horne Kia!!!

Had great service until I got back to my car after dropping it off and realized I got JACKED... whoever was working on my car not only stole my $500 sunglasses which had sentimental value but they also stooped as low as go steal my medication from my center console. I truly didn’t think I had to worry about this from them. I left my car with 100% trust that everything would be in its place when I returned to pick it up. Anyone would reasonably expect that. I have dropped of my previous vehicles at other places and have had no issues with anything missing so I expected the same here. Not happy. * Although let me point out that Eric (my service provider) was wonderful, he is not the issue. The service itself isn’t the issue. In fact, I would recommend them if it wasn’t for this. My issue is that I was stolen from.

We all dread going into a car dealership due to their high pressure sales tactics. Though, this place was a different experience. Jared Zwick greeted us and answered all questions and helped with a test drive. I was impressed that he had some model specific details memorized which many salesperson have to look up or they just wing it. There was no high pressure sales pitch at all. If you are looking to go to a KIA dealer, I would recommend Jared at Horne Kia.

Went to 3 different dealers today looking for someone to help with getting me financed for a new car. Because of my poor credit no one could help, but I have to mention that one sales person stood out from everyone we spoke to. Natasha at Horne Kia was the most down to earth real person we could have met. Everyone else said sorry, Natasha gave us advice on building up credit. You can tell she was more genuine about helping me than getting a sale. Once my credit is better, she’s the only one I’m going to buy a car from.

Really negative experience here today- our sales person Austin was great. But we looked at a car and talked to the manager for a while, and decided to test drive it. A group of people came up behind us and were looking at the same car (there was only one left). We test drove it first, and went to sit in the office and wait on talk about financing and our trade in. The financial officer came in to tell us the car was being sold to the group behind us! So so so rude and I am really upset. Perhaps because we had small children with us? But we were there first, way first, for THAT car, and werent even given a chance. Not overly confident but the sales person who swiped the car out from under us and Austin was maybe named Phillip.

I was looking for information on the Kia Niro and I was very turned off by the service. I was outside for over 10 minutes looking at some of the vehicles and no one came to offer assistance, even though a few people walked past me. I walked into the main building and there were 3 people lounging in the chairs, not one offered a welcome. After asking one of them for some information on the Niro, he walked me over to the floor model and opened up the vehicle. After some silence I asked for a brochure on the vehicle so I can do my own research at home. I was very turned off with the lack of service and I am very disappointed that I was not able to get the information that I was looking for. Therefore I will not be buying my new vehicle from here.

I was sent an Email from Allen McCoy from internet sales to setup an appointment to come see the car we were interested in. We setup an appointment right after work and it took me 30 mins to get there with my family. We get there at try to call him and he wouldn't answer. Someone asked if we needed help and we let them know we had an appointment with Allen. He informed us Allen left for the day.... and after 10 mins of searching for the car we came to see... it was sold. Pretty unprofessional and wont be coming back to this place. A simple text saying the car was sold would have saved us alot of time and disappointment. Don't work with Allen McCoy... and don't bother setting up an appointment. Makes me believe what people say about car salesman. *Kudos to the 19 year old young man that went out of his way to try to show us something would still fit our needs and budget. Only reason I'm leaving a 2 star.

They were paid to fix a crack in my windshield, and Jose was able to explain why it was not a perfect fill and offered a different solution. The customer service was prestine, though the wash could have been a bit better as I have water streaks on my rearview mirror and had leftover plastic bits on my dashboard from whatever.

The service advisors are great because they actually listen to you when you explain what is wrong with your vehicle. They are very pleasant to work with and not pushy at all. If you need a ride to work or home, they have a shuttle for their customers which is free (but most people will tip their driver). They have a huge waiting area with complimentary beverages. I recommend Horne Kia.

Daughter bought a car there. Just remember the price they give you is not the price you pay. There u.s many up charges like their Kia 2 year warrantee $2,500 that they automatically charge. But only after you've gone through the process and got your interest in a car. No spare tire for a new car now a days. Wth! Guess you're stranded in the desert and can't call the road side service for help.

EDIT: The general manager Josh, reached out and spoke with me regarding the windshield and they offered to replace it for free. I was not expecting that at all and it shows that they have pride in their company and their reputation. Thank you Horne Kia! And thank you for working with us. We will be back. If I could give a .5 star I would. My fiance took my car to get serviced on Friday and it came out of the car wash at the end with my window cracked from top to bottom. He fought them and they said it was not their responsibility to fix it. Then he gets home and I see the write up paper work where it states the window was in perfect condition. There was a chip on the left side of the window to begin with that had been filled, which tells me their "inspection" was BS because they would have seen it and it would not have been marked green.

My first experience and last with Horne Kia. They are an absolute nightmare to try and get an out the door price from an internet submission. Darrell was the first issue, telling me he would not give me an out the door price because he was trying to “earn my business” and I needed to come in to do that. Excuse me, don’t you want to meet the customer where they would like to do business. Kylor than reached out to me and said Darrell has a hard time having numbers line up once in the dealership so he’d help me. I then asked him to an itemized list of all fees and an out the door price for two different vehicles. He then proceeds to tell me anyone these days can create an out the door price and cites Google in how he got numbers. If you enjoy playing games and wasting time at a dealership this would be a great place to shop. I will be sticking with other dealerships in the valley. See email screen shots below.

They will waste your time by adding extra fees at the very end. 899 for paint protection, 800 for Gap insurance, 399 for VTR (Vehicle Theft Registration). I Requested to see the documents for these services and they only showed me the VTR one which after spending some time reading the back consumer agreement it states "price is not regulated". I pointed this out to them and demanded all dealer accessory fees be taken off which seem to upset them. Very shady place, ended up walking out. Don't waist your time by paying for a piece of paper that will Never be used.

By far the worst dealership I’ve dealt with. I communicated back and forth with a salesperson from this location, confirmed what I had been offered elsewhere and what I was looking for. I was reassured numerous times that the deal was “good to go”. Once again, before I took the afternoon off work, drove 40 minutes to the dealership I was told “yes, we can make that work” When I arrived and got the process going I was shown my payment - $85 more PER MONTH than anywhere else and not at all what I was promised. I even showed them my communication of what I was promised and they still said “I needed to be willing to give a little” No, they didn’t agree to MSRP as promised. Later, after my afternoon was wasted I was told they could come down on price”. Which means I walked in thinking I had an agreement and they still tried to screw me. This is where car dealerships get a bad name. If you want any sort of ethics, stay far away from any Horne dealership

Where to go if you own a Kia! I received a recall notice in the mail and also needed an oil change and power steering was acting weird. I was leaving town for 5 days flying out of Mesa Gateway (Allegiant Air) so I thought I would use their shuttle service to the airport 7 miles away and save myself money on parking at the airport! Worked GREAT! my advisor there Erik Rodriguez said have a safe flight call us when you get back an hopefully your car should be done and the shuttle driver would pick me up. WORKED like a charm spent money to save money! Quick rewind... Mark Kia is where I purchased the vehicle and warranty. Horne Kia could do the recall work but they wanted the vehicle brought to them for the other warranty work. So my car is at Horne is deemed unsafe to drive until the part (On Back Order) is replaced. So..... I like Horne they put me in a loaner vehicle until mine was finished then I had to take it to Mark Kia for the rest of the work because the person in charge of service department said Horne could not do the work even though they already had my car. Also to be clear the service manager at Mark Kia had the ability to let Horne do the work but rather he made things much more difficult and time-consuming for me. Long story short go to Horne and don't go to Mark Kia. There are to many Kia dealers in town to have a bad experience like I did.

I am not an individual who spends time on the internet providing reviews but based upon my abysmal experience at Horne Kia, I made this exception. I have leased many Kia vehicles over the years and have been very satisfied. With my current Kia Sorento lease coming to maturity the end of September, we began the search for our next vehicle. My wife was interested in the Kia Telluride. We had come to learn that the vehicle is in relatively limited production and in demand, so when I reached out to Horne Kia to see if they would honor the national lease offer for the Telluride S, I was assured by Ruben that Horne would absolutely do so. We went over the national lease numbers in detail, and he offered me that specific pricing over the phone. He indicated that a Telluride S had just been delivered and we needed to come in ASAP to ensure we would get the vehicle. So my wife and I rearranged our work schedule on the word of Ruben that Horne would honor the national lease. However, when we arrived at Horne Kia, it was a completely different story. Upon arrival, Ruben was not available, so another salesman took over. When it came time to receive the lease numbers, yet another individual took over. That’s when the circus started. We were not treated professionally at all. He first came out with a ridiculous lease offer - over $200 more per month than the lease Ruben promised (in the mid $500 range), yet this individual stated that his numbers were in fact reflective of the national lease – the only difference was the inclusion of sales tax, title, and license, etc. as indicated in the fine print. When I questioned his numbers still not making any sense, I took out my phone calculator to add it up in front of him. Realizing he was exposed as a stone cold liar, he stated that lease math is not the same as regular math. Wow, and here I am someone who is well versed in how leases are calculated including money factors, residuals, etc. yet that was not even relevant given the National Ad Campaign and fixed lease offer. In any event, we offered to pay all of the fine print fees upfront he had written on the offer sheet, to keep the promised payment of $329 per month. Yet low and behold the lease payments were still well over a hundred dollars more a month than the national lease ad. When questioned, he then diverted blame to the finance people in the back at the desk. Horne had no intention of honoring their agreement – due to their inventory of only a few Tellurides in stock. We were not only insulted, but this visit to Horne turned out to be a complete waste of our time. By the time Matthew Tucker came out from the back with yet again another offer that was not what we agree to, our threshold for being lied to and treated unprofessionally was over and we left. I have much more respect for the dealership who told me there was a markup on the Telluride due to demand, but was upfront and honest, rather than wasting my time and lying in order to just get me into their dealership. Over the past 30+ years I've leased and purchased numerous vehicles - and I understand how dealerships work - but in all my years I have never been treated the way I was treated at Horne. I have referred many people to the Kia brand, yet I may seek another. Prior to leaving this review I even reached out to the General Manager Joshua Bauman to see if this perhaps was an isolated incident, yet received no response… So much for customer service. I see no reason to ever purchase/lease a vehicle from a Horne dealership.

Poor Customer service. I dropped my vehicle for an oil change @ 1230 PM. I was a walk in so the customer rep said it'll take 2.5 - 3 hours of wait time. No problem. I told them I'd step out and it would be great to just call,text or email me as soon as the vehicle is ready. 4:45 PM and I didn't hear anything from them and so I called and spoke to the cashier and told me the service department closed at 4 PM and that no one was there already. I asked why no one called me to let me know my car is ready for pick up. She just brushed it off and said oh they tried to call you and you did not answer and that she was going to leave at exactly 5 PM. Sounds like she was rushing , she took my payment over the phone and I had picked up my car @ 5:07 PM . Had I not called to check the status on my vehicle, it would be there for 3 days since it was a long weekend. The thing is I got late for a party because of this. This was my first experience with this dealership and too bad it wasn't pleasant.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I went in with a pre-qualification letter from CapitalOne Auto financing with my interest rate etc already calculated with the 5k in cash I was putting down. I originally spoke with Ruben Mendez, the internet director, and he advised that they would be unable to negotiate prices over the phone, but that they were willing to negotiate. He handed me over to Darrell Craig, who at first was very pleasant. I explained to him that I already had a pre-qual letter and that I knew the exact vehicle I wanted. After test driving the vehicle we went inside to discuss pricing. Not only were they unwilling to negotiate price, but they were claiming that tax, title, and doc fee would cost me 5k. Let me point out that AutoNation down the road was 1900 for tax, title, and doc fee for a more expensive vehicle. Notice how the tax title and doc fee were coincidentally the exact amount of cash I brought in to put down on the vehicle. They also advised me that my credit was 'so bad' that they weren't going to run my credit for fear I wouldn't qualify for a car. AutoNation said that I had a great credit and that considering I was putting money down, I'm an ideal buyer. Horne Kia ran my credit anyway. They also advised me that their financing guy is an 'expert' with CapitalOne financing and that there was no way the interest rates listed on my prequal were even a possibility and that my prequal letter was, and I quote, "not real"... and that I was basically delusional if I thought I would be eligible for a 5% interest rate. After I laughed at them and walked out, you would have thought that would be the end of it. It was not. Darrell continued to text me until 10pm that night being extremely condescending and continuing to give me 'financial' advice. I work in mortgage, where we actually calculate income and confirm that a person is qualified to make a purchase. I did not need to be 'mansplained' on how financing worked, and I also did not need him to continue texting me basically insulting me and being extremely condescending. Steer clear of Horne Kia and go to AutoNation, they don't haggle but they also had a newer vehicle with less miles priced more competitively and weren't extremely rude through the process. They never tried to trick me like Horne Kia. I did try to resolve the issue with Ruben and he asked that I not leave a poor review and that I speak with a manager first, but it has been 2 weeks and not a single person has reached out to me. Your employees need additional training in not only financing but in what is considered respectful professional behavior.

Felt like they weren't interested in selling cars! I went to the dealership highly motivated to purchase after seeing some Kia Soul used cars available online. Fortes or Optimas were also an option, but I wanted to start with the Soul. Started wandering the lot and was quickly greeted by the sales person. Good initial impression. Was friendly to his credit. I explained what we were looking for and was a bit surprised that the availability of vehicles on line did not seem to match what he presented. Was not interested in the base model, so focused on the midrange model which was black, which is a color my wife didn't really like. We were able to sit in the car to get an idea of the interior. He asked the standard questions like how much I was looking to spend, tried to steer towards focusing on the monthly payment vs the total cost, etc. I realized this was standard car sales stuff, so it wasn't a surprise. This is where it got a bit odd. I asked to test drive the car. He said because it was used, he couldn't let us test drive it since it would 'lose value' with the increased mileage. I would have been happy just going around the block, but no dice. I explained I couldn't seriously consider a car I could not test drive, but still got resistance to the idea and no test drive. To his credit, he brought us to the showroom and gave us some water while he went to check inventory for other Souls, but essentially didn't come up with much else. I asked him about the incentives on the new model but other than saying there were "Lots of incentives", I didn't get specifics from him. At this time, I felt like it was now a waste of time. I went from intending to buy that day to walking out a bit surprised. I had expected a bit of a hard sell, but this was almost surreal. With a reasonable deal, I would have signed, but we never even got to a stage beyond the initial encounter. I had the cash in my bank account ready to spend that day. Two days later, I purchased my Kia elsewhere.

I bought a used 2015 Kia Soul from here. At first I had some problems because the car came with the wrong spare tire (it was a full size in there, and needed a donut tire). Brought it back in twice and called multiple times trying to figure out what to do about it, because while showing me the car Joe told me that he would fix that. After dealing with multiple people they finally gave in and gave me the right spare tire, as I was told they were going to do in the first place. In addition to the spare tire problem, I was also not given an owners manual or a spare key. Beware when buying from here, especially if used make sure you get that second key, and owners manual if you want one.

I arrived to the dealership with a preapproval in hand. My hair was pretty messed up due to high winds and a brewing storm. I, frankly, appeared to be a little unkempt. As a result, I was completely ignored. I walked the lot for more than 15 minutes before being ignored inside by several employees. The scruffy chubby redheaded salesperson finally answered me when I held my preapproval letter against the sales office glass door. I showed him a screenshot of the vehicle I was looking for when I arrived. He excused himself for the better part of 10 more minutes before coming back to steer me toward a trashy Chevy SUV that met none of my criteria that my wife and I set for our next car. Went home and purchased the vehicle I wanted from Carvana.
