Before bidding on a vehicle from here check out the fees fees and more fees for the price range you plan on bidding in. The upside is the app for searching and bidding works great. I guess this is the reason for almost doubling a vehicles winning bid in added fees. Also don’t be the moron that tries to drive a cheap car away from here after buying. Get it towed then verify it’s road worthy. I had to wait in line behind several mouth breathing retards that tried to drive off the lot in their heaps they purchased then found out the hard way “run and drive” does not guarantee road worthy vehicle. They then had to waddle back down the street having a heart attack wanting a refund even though all cars are sold as is before I could get my title. Please don’t be that guy. Also there is really no parking when you arrive to pick up titles.

Buyers please beware. Keep in mind this is like a junk yard, while all vehicles may be salvageable so many more are not. If a great mechanic and knows a lot about cars, this may work for you. Also note, this place is busy and that's what make it shocking that the workers here are not real professional. The lines are long and staff moves like they work for the county.

I have bought several cars from Phoenix location in the past two years. Two months ago I decided that I wanted my deposit back and they are refusing to give it back to me. I tried the website for online refund and didn't let me do it, then I called the Phoenix office and talked to a Costumer Service representative, she promised me that I would get a check through mail after 7 business days and did not happen neither, finally I sent an email requesting my deposit to Customer Service with CC to Phoenix General Manager Jonathan Black and nothing happened, not even an answer to my email. Honestly, don't do business with COPART because they are liars and don't care about costumers at all.

How does this Copart branch greet their customers? With long wait times and poor customer service. Want to preview a car? Be prepared to wait for an hour or more. How much time do they give you to look at a vehicle? 5 minutes. Be prepared to waist half of your day here waiting to look at a vehicle. It honestly reminds me of the DMV. It is very obvious that they dont value their customers at all.

First time buying online. Staff was friendly and so were the workers in the pick up lot area. They have a truck that Carries a battery jump pack and some lube and oils. I will buy again. Thanks copart for being a first come first serve.

This company falsely advertises vehicles as running and driving in there listing to drive the sale prices and then claim that there listings are accurate and they stand behind them even when the vehicle is not as advertised. A truck I purchased was listed as running and driving, when it showed up at my shop it had "no crank" written with paint pen on the window and the truck would not crank over. Copart denied any responsibility. Sense I was now stuck with the truck I decided to try to fix the truck. I found the Engine wire harness had several shorted wires and so i replaced the engine wire harness. The truck now cranks over but will not start. I then found the engine dropped a lifter and it went through the oil pump. Bottom line, truck needs an engine. Copart's response; "We guarantee this truck ran for us when we received it ". I would love to know how they had a truck with a bad motor and a shorted harness that wouldn't even crank over, running. I have learned my lesson. BUYER BEWARE. I can only hope Copart's management will at least use bad reviews like this to better there process to stop screw people over as my horror story is not the first to come from this company that operates off dishonesty.

where do i start?? well lets just say if your car is ever towed to this company from being in a car accident try and make sure you remove all personal belongings out including your license plate, and change, and any other items you may have, i was in accident someone else hit me and my truck was towed to this company, when they first got my truck they removed all and everything from my truck then turned around and said they never had it, they took my personalized plate and all paper work from insurance to my registration out and lost everything,,, they tried to blame it on repair shop and refused to take blame of this,,,,,,,, who ever took all my things and lost them also took about 10 dollars worth of change that i had in my truck, you talk about adding insult to injury there you go,,,,, this company has a bunch of thieves working there and no one knows nothing , should be reported to the bbb, if you can avoid at all cost or remove all from car before letting these thieves get to it,,,, very bad service they treat all vehicles that go there as total lost vehicles not thinking no one will want to retrieve their car,, do not deal with this company.

Long waits in line and for escort and loadouts..hate how you have 5 minutes to see each car and can see 3 at a time only. The waiting time to go see 3 cars are up to 1 hour. They couldn't find my car. Waited over 2 hours. First part of the hour inside the office waiting for them to locate it. The last hour waiting for them to bring it out. That's a crazy place. Cars being thrown all over. Everything worked out. Probably just one of those crazy days. All the staff were very nice and friendly. No complaints other than the wait.

I only gave one star. Imagine a negative sign in front. My husband was in an accident. The insurance had the truck towed to Copart. When we looked at it we noticed all the seat covers and floor mats were thrown into the bed. All personal items were gone and the receiver hitch had been cut off the truck. Why do insurance companies continue to use them? They have to know everyone is being ripped off!

While the staff is not the fastest, they are very nice once they get to you. I had not been there in months and just went this week and they changed their policy! How is allowing me 15 minutes to inspect three cars logical? I understand people steal and thats why now you have to have us one at time with a chaperone but come on, MAXIMUM of 3 cars,.... and ONLY 5 minutes each.. then they kick you out and you have to get in line AGAIN and wait another 15 minutes to get help... and ANOTHER 30 to have them escort you to the yard... to spend 5mins PER car? Really? You guys need to come up with a different system. People steal yes, but you are not "losing" money per se.

I simply had to drop off a title for my insurance company, something that could have been mailed. I needed NO interaction with a customer service rep, but they told me I still had to wait in line behind 12 other people, for a wait of well over an hour. Jut to hand someone a title. Worse than the DMV! Needless to say, I walked out and mailed it instead.

Prior to receiving the personal items from my car in the mail, I noticed that everything EXCEPT my valuables were included. Valuables included a gold necklace, Bose headphones and ray ban sunglasses. Apparently, this is not something new that happens at Copart as numerous reviews have reported the same instance where only the valuables were missing. I called over and found that an employee named Sergio was the one who had inspected the inside of my vehicle. This man is a thief and should be terminated immediately. I hope Sergio reads this because not only am I going to file a police report against him but I will be sure to elscate this to the highest management and ensure they are aware that this employee is single handedly destroying Coparts reputation.

AVOID. Plenty of paperwork, fee's, wrong descriptions, and many twists when registering making your bid worthless. This is geared for dealers and companies buying salvage bikes and ATV's and not for the average guy. They WILL find something wrong with your account and give you like 15 minutes to correct it with documentation and then cheerfully tell you it'll 'be 3 or 4 days to process' making your wins worthless. Its a scam to get your registration fees and other things. The titles and paperwork take up to 4 months to arrive (5 months on one I bought) and when you go the license bureau you will get additional late fees as they notarize their end way back but never get it out to you within 60 days. Most states allow like 10 days to get it done after its sold. Then the ultimate kicker............they say you won, they say its yours, then it goes thru an approval deal where the auction determines if it is enough to really sell and that will take 72 hrs. Meanwhile IF THEY APPROVE, that time is docked towards storage. So its a pure scam really fine tuned. Just be aware. One star is generous

Absolute rip off for the average person. If there was a way to give zero stars i would. Your initial payment to join only entitles you to bid up to 1000 dollars, to bid higher you have to pay more. This was not explained until i logged in to bid and i was very disappointed indeed. When i called to complain i was told that everything i need to know was explained. I had others with me and they all agreed that it was not. They will take your money with a smile on their faces. Buyer beware. I do not recommend this place for average people. Large businesses maybe.

First off, I’ve learned from my own good and bad experiences to Inspect the vehicle to the best of your ability with the time scale(5 minutes) they give you(which sucks). Second, do your vehicle background checks and homework, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but it is what it is! Now when it comes to the escorts to view a vehicle, I’m okay with it because people are sabotaging vehicles for there benefit but if they got outbid during the Auction, the winning bidder gets screwed due to the cheapskates sabotage antics and trying to figure out what they did wrong to it(I’m a victim of 2 sabotage vehicles). Pricing is a bit high, especially if your a Premier Member(cause you pay extra anyways) and the gate fee is a bit ridiculous considering the damage the forks cause to the undercarriage, front and rear bumpers of the vehicles. Pretty much all of the vehicles that I buy are Run and Drive but they still haft to be brought out on a Forklift? Now, the customer service on the other hand is a bit mind boggling. I buy on average, 2-4 vehicles a month and although everyone is pretty friendly, there’s always someone different working the counter that’s not very knowledgeable and are so slow. EXAMPLE: I was there today to pick up 2 vehicles, I was 4th in line, 2 people were working the counter and it took 40 minutes to get called up and then another 25 minutes until I had my titles. Then I went out to get loaded and it took 3 hours! This is on an average every time I go to Phoenix Copart and it gets frustrating to the point where I don’t want to waste my time there anymore. Now when it comes to Tucson Copart, on an average, I’m in and out of there in 30-45 minutes every time and that’s paperwork, getting loaded, tied down and headed home! (Still not happy with the gate fee and being loaded by forklift thing but???) Now given, Tucson is smaller and not as big of an inventory but they definitely got there Sh*t together down there. PLEASE, PLEASE find a solution to the waiting times at your Phoenix yard along with the forklift caused damages and gate fees in Phoenix and in Tucson too! Thx...

I'm glad I didn't have some of the other experiences others had. The only bad experience I would say is they need more people answering the phones. I was on hold every time I called... and for up to 30 minutes one time. But, once I had the appointment, things went very smoothly from there, no issues. They arrived when they said they would, cut us the check like they said they would.

I read the other reviews before going to Copart, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. The negative reviews were definitely accurate. Slow, inefficient, waste of time. Worst auto auction shopping experience. Like a previous reviewer stated, "they remove parts off the vehicle after you purchase it". I bought a vehicle with off road rims and tires. After getting the vehicle to my destination I noticed that the wheels on my purchase had been changed out prior to me taking possession of the vehicle. Called up copart to resolve and nothing was ever resolved even by there Regional Manager Steve B who was supposed to call me back and "do the right thing for me as a customer". Buyer beware what you see in the picture is not what you will get.

My daughter accidently clicked on a bid and I contacted them to try to cancel it and they were not sympathetic and demanded that I pay them or else they would charge me a $400 relist fee! Horrible place to even look at bought a bike with the keys hanging from a zip tie 5 pictures show the key the 1 picture it disappears called and told them the description says keys your pictures have keys where are my keys ohh sorry people have sticky fingers oh really f uuuu

They need to hire more people and teach them well. There's not enough staff and each time you need to wait in line for over 30 min. Very poor customer service, they always transfer you to few persons when you call them and at the end you don't usually get the answer because the person who is in charge is not available. You need lots of patience if you want to do business with this auction because everything is slow about it.

This place became Horrible. Now after you check in you have to sit down and wait in line for like at least an hour or even 2 hours Before they even let you in the yard and you are allowed to view only 3 vehicles at the time. After you done viewing 3 vehicles year to go back in line and let others view their 3 vehicles and then you can go back on to the yard to view other 3. Another thing is people are bidding ( egos are bidding)way too high you can buy a car cheaper on the street than here. It is not Worth it anymore

This auction company was selling a truck listed as a 1973 GMC K3500 which means it is a 1 ton 4x4 truck, I faithfully placed my bid in full confidence that they had the correct information listed. After i made the payment in full, hired a towing company to pick up the truck and had it towed 2 hours to my location I find out it is NOT a K3500 but in fact it is a C3500 meaning it is a 1 ton 2wd truck, there is a very big difference between the 2 trucks, I was scammed into buying this truck on their online auction, I will be filling complaints with the state licensing commission due to the false advertising. I will also be leaving online reviews warning other potential buyers to BEWARE of this company,
