Horrible customer service that just want to scam you out of your money bought a car over heated on way home 2 days later blinkers stop working left me and my kids stranded said it was the fuel pump replaced it and 2 days later car left me stranded again oh its the fuel pump again been out of a car for a week now. Its been a nightmare wouldnt refer my worst enemy here

I went there I saw a 2015 GMC Sierra lifted beautiful truck from the outside and I got approved cuz I'm the first time buying a car so I was excited got to home it overheated I had to change a reservoir tank because they wanted to do it Monday when I bought it on a Friday so I'll be all weekend without the truck then the bushings in the bearings on the A-Arms went out about a week later which I think they're already going out but they threw some grease in it they told me they were going to take care of it took it all the way down to their mechanic didn't hear nothing for 8 hours so I had to drive down to the mechanics then they told me they were going to take care of it call the owner AJ and he said he would take care of it and call me back in 15 minutes never did now I have to go to the extended warranty which I don't know if it will be covered I will never refer anybody to this place

Poor/Bad customer service. I stayed in contact with the finance worker & owner, I test drove the caur I wanted a month ago. For weeks I stayed in touch after filling out an application, got pre approved, and discussed payment arrangements for the down payment.I called early morning saying I was bringing funds for the down payment as discussed for the past FEW WEEKS and when I get there the owner says "we just found out a week ago this car has a salvage title we can't finance a salvage title." The financial worker said "oh yeah I forgot to tell you..." I told the worker (I called you this morning saying im bringing funds & you said ok... how did you forget to tell me this payment arrangements wasn't going to work this morning before I came?) This company is unprofessional, it is bad business when a dearler has a car on their lot for sale & doesnt know the status of the title before putting it up for sale, the title was not verified. The financial worker was so nonchalant about forgetting to tell me, that it seemed unreal. Dont waste your time, this company is shady & misleading.

Horrible service...held my deposit for a month car was suppose to be ready in two days... Had me going there every day trying to recover my money... Gave me a bs excuse that mechanic stole the parts.. tried to sell me cars I had zero interest in.. Signed up car insurance without my permission.. Used my credit card Info from down payment... After I report fraud charges finally got my money back... Owner and managers lie so much... Never purchase a car here....

Looked at truck. It needed tires replaced (badly worn out), New battery, the pax side mirror glass broken, pax side tail light lens broken out, the interior was okay but the drivers side seat showed a lot of wear. And they were asking WAY over retail for it. Manager stated that they would fix the descrepencies if sold, but would not negotiate the price to within the "Fair condition" price range. $3500-$3900. Drove the truck on the highway. The vehicle pulled to the left considerably and since the tires were in bad shape, made it difficult to tell if there may have been a suspension problem or not. Vehicle needs a lot of work on it before it should even be on the lot available to sell. If this was my car lot, I would be embarrassed to even have that on the sales lot.

DO NOT buy any car from this place they dont keep their word my parents just bought an suv from them and on the test drive the check engine light was on and they said they would take care of it and all they did was turn the light off with the scanner now my parents need to spend money on new Catalytic Converters and they said the warranty is up and that the car had nothing wrong when bought when their second mechanic told us it had that problem already and they did nothing to fix and also one tire was bad and was told they were buy them a new tire and that also never happened i wish i would have read the reviews before we went there hopefully this would help someone from spending their hard earned money and time in this place

If you dont know where to get your next used car this is the the place. Good cars at good prices and the staff is beyond amazing- on point & quick to get everything done. Dont play- get your car from here today. They made sure the car I got had an oil change, new wind shield and even offered to hook up my electeonic devices to the blue tooth...making sure I roll out in top condition before I took it home. Im impressed with the experience. Keep doing what you do....to the crew, if your boss aint proud, he needs to be!

Multiple sales people here lied to me about the car. They were offering cars to test drive without gas and tires worn down to the metal. Unsafe and unbelievably lazy. The level of dishonesty and b.s. was unbearable. Even after I took the car i was considering purchasing to a mechanic for an inspection, they tried to argue that the thousands of dollars worth of repairs necessary were just because "mechanics want to make money." Don't waste your time and energy here.

Clients are Very RUDE. All employees plus the Manager are Very Unprofessional! Yeah the cars on the lot look Good but once you take them off the lot You would start to notice Problems right away like how My USED 07 Chevy Silverado and A USED 2017 Chevy Malibu I just bought october 2018. They financed me I put money down for My Silverado! But by the time My Mom took her new car off the lot. (The Chevy Malibu) Major Problems Arrised! She sent the car back, stating what was wrong with it, it took them over a course of A Month to Repair! Yeah they gave her a Rental to use. The first one was like a old 90s car which she reported was Very dirty when it was given to her. The Second Rental was a Decent car but eventually started smoking from the engine while she was on the road 25 miles away from Tucson so she brought that back. The third rental was okay! But through the time they were working on it in that month, they were fixing it October to the 3rd week of november! She's been asking the formal salesman "Chris" who financed me. how is the car coming along?? Why is it taking so long for it to get done. Why do I need to pay the first months payment when I haven't even drove it yet? His literal reply to her was "At least we gave you a Rental and you are not walking around" When the car was finished. She requested while it was being repaired that the malibu needed a Oil Change. When she got the car after it was "finished being repaired" There was no Oil Change. She was so close to pulling $ out of her own pocket to do it herself instead and i said no! So i called, spoke to the manager. His basic replies were "mmmkay, mmmkay" He agreed. He said bring it in the next morning we'll get it done. What he did not tell me was the malibu was going to be sent for a oil change instead at The Firestone on first avenue. My boyfriend tried to take it originally to the dealership then they sent him over to FireStone but of course they were backed up on appointments. My question is why didn't the manager call to make a appointment prior knowing that was where the malibu was going to be sent? So eventually it was finally done as of yesterday Nov 28th! During the time my boyfriend was telling me they were taking long. I called American Automotive dealership requested to talk with the manager and who i talked with basically said He had to take the loss and pull money out of his own pocket to do the oil change. I told him well that's not on us but You Guys. My mom requested during the time the Malibu was being prepared it needed a Oil Change as well! There's so much more! For a final say. This place is not what it seems!

Only one star because I can't give zero stars. Had 3 of my own tires put on after a blow out. Took over 21/2 hours in the freezing cold. Then was given 3 different tires back & put my spare back on my truck instead of putting the goid tire on the matching rim. Then when I left. I only had 1 lug nut holding on my front tire. . Shotty work, shady reps.untrust worthy. . . Not to mention how dangerous it could have ended up had I driven on only one lug nut holding on my tire. After realizing the errors they did replace the lugs. But not the locking ones I had . And no refund offered. Or to even replace the missed matched spare. It could have ended badly with a accident or injury or even broken off the sprockets holding on my tire. Don't put your auto or your family in danger go some place else.

Very very bad experience I got sold a lemon and they knew it!! Screwed me over so bad.. cost me over $1500 to gt fixed.. have a certified letter fom mechanic that this car was rigged to pass emissions and work long enough to sell! Talkin to the attorney general and called the BBB! Also called KGUN 9 on ur side to investigate and close this dealership down.. Finance guy so so rude and didn't seem to care at all about us being unsatisfied customers.. DO NOT GO HERE!

If you are looking to save time and money Find a car in another place I bought a car there and from the day I bought it I had problems they told me they were going to fix me but they never guessed What was the problem I still have the same problem of the car and now they tell me that they can not solve it because a lot of time has passed and the warranty no longer protects me. They said they solved the problem in my car and when I take it to my own mechanic he says it was not solved at all and now I put about 1500 dollars of my bag to solve something that had been since I bought it (timming belt and catalityc converter) and I can not do anything because they do not give you proof of anything

Bought a 2012 Hyunday Sonata cash. The vehicle was not ready for delivery as it had a few damages and a dirty interior to be taken care of. Worked with AJ(owner) got all of the required fixes documented and the car was ready ahead if time. One issue with power locks needed to be re-addressed and it was done in a timely manner. My wife and I are very pleased with the experience and service provided by AJ, George, David, Chris (mechanic) and the other gentleman in the office (manager?). I recommend American Automotive to anyone as AJ will work to find you a great deal on a quality car. Note: Always do your due diligence. Don't blame the dealership for lack of taking responsibility. I ran the carfax report and learned more details about the vehicle before signing the sales contract. It was nothing that prevented me from moving forward with the purchase.

This is a secret hidden treasure! I was a first-time car buyer and had been turned down by five other car dealerships! American Automotive had clean, well running vehicles to choose from! Their salesman Sam was a gem. Very thorough in making sure I was happy with the vehicle. I didn't think I'd qualify for a more expensive 7 seater for my large family but they came through for me and walked me through the process ensuring I got an affordable monthly price in the range I wanted! Bad experience with these guys. I’d been researching used vehicles online for a few weeks. Had my eye on a BMW on their lot and called about coming down to take a look at it. The guy I spoke to on the phone said to definitely swing by and check out the car. Got to the lot only to find out the guy I spoke to on the phone was actually in Phoenix and the BMW I’d been looking at online had been sold the previous weekend. So we’re already off to a bad start. But the salesmen on the actual lot said they had a different BMW I could look at and they’d cut me the same deal that had been offered on the original car. Sounded like a decent proposition so I purchased the substitute vehicle. I was pleased with the car for six weeks until I went out to start it up only to find out the transmission had locked up. When I purchased the car, it was supposed to come with 2 years’ worth of maintenance so I contacted American Automotive to ask about it. Turns out “2 Year Maintenance Plan” really means “we know a guy who knows a guy who might be able to come out and take a look at your car because he owes us a favor.” I tried to pin them down again on exactly what they meant by maintenance plan and it turns out they will cover a couple of oil changes but only if I have the certificate which they still haven’t given me. It’s been two days of calling and texting these guys and no one will get back to me. I’m currently typing this on a Friday afternoon before the start of a three day weekend so I’m not holding out much hope at this point. I had been hoping to talk about a good experience with these guys but I cannot in good conscious recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware. Edit: I typed this review up last week and thought maybe these guys would surprise me by getting back to me or something. Nope. I had been planning to give them a two star review, but now it’s down to one. Go someplace else if you’re looking for a car.
