It was a great pleasure to meet Sam, I fell in love with a Red CTS Twin Turbo (in my picture) they had on the lot when I went in person one day and he was honest in all regards throughout my experience. It was my first time going there and he was super friendly. He let me test drive it and he was very easy to talk to, he was very informative from financing to the vehicle itself. I had a very good experience buying this car from him, I've bought many cars from different places, but this is where I'll be going back for my future purchases. They do great work. Not once did he ever pressure me or push other cars on me like other dealerships do, though he let me know that if I want to, I can look at the entire lot. I didn't just buy a car from him, I also made a life long friend. Thanks again Sam, it was a pleasure working with you! I'd like to also add that the false review by "Ye" under me is totally false. What people get out of writing false reviews is beyond me. I was originally eyeing the Maserati they're speaking about for a few months and seen it in person one too many times. That Maserati is absolutely flawless, very beautiful car, I would've jumped on it if it was Red instead of white and if I had an extra 10K$. It's a steal for anyone that has the cash for it, you wouldn't be disappointed in the slightest, especially at that low price for what it's worth.

This review is way overdue. October of 2016 I purchased a Toyota Camry XLE from Sam. The Camry has been a great car and the service we received from Sam was awesome. Because of this, we helped our son purchase an Acura from Sam last fall. My wife and I flew into phoenix from Portland Oregon. Sam picked us up at the airport and treated us like old friends. From the time we landed to driving off his lot took only about two hours. The Acura ran amazing on the drive home to Portland and has been a great car for my son. He saved thousands of dollars and loves the vehicle. Service and honesty that you get from Sam is rare these days. i plan to purchase my vehicles from Sam as needed in the future.

I would guess I did not have the best impression for him for me to purchase a better deal. But overall he offers great customer service but I do hope to work with him in the future.

I have purchased two salvaged cars from this dealer and I don't think I will ever buy from any other dealer again. Sam is as honest as I have ever found a dealer to be. He will help you every step of the way without pushing. I purchased my first car from him four years ago and it is still running well. Because of this, I went back to buy one for my daughter. There is a lot of appropriate talk about being cautious when buying a salvaged vehicle, but American Auto has two thumbs up from me!

My wife and I were looking for salvage title luxury vehicles and after going to 3 or 4 other dealers we found Sam. Best car buying experience I have ever had. I usually walk away feeling like I could have gotten a better deal but Sam (the owner ) was up front and straight forward and I couldn't have been happier with our purchase. He gave us a fair trade and was helpful throughout the whole process. Don't let the area fool you - if you are looking for a quality car at a great price, go talk to these guys. Great place to go if you want a low-mileage, reliable vehicle at a significant discount. I got a 2017 with only 10 thousand miles at about 7-10k below market price. They stand behind their vehicles. During the first week of ownership, some issues came up. But Sam's team quickly did the repairs free of charge even though they were under no legal obligation. Now I have a great car that I love which I got at a huge discount. Sam the sales guy is also very low pressure so that makes the buying process easy. And they have a credit union that backs them so you get very good rates on loans. Just beware of the downsides of buying a rebuilt vehicle (can't use for uber, lyft, or turo, and typically lower resale.)

I have taken it on a couple of long trips (Las Vegas to Phoenix), and it has been a very comfortable drive. I have been looking for a good used vehicle at a reasonable price for approx 3 months. I had seen Sam's vehicles and I knew the vehicles were salvage due to great price. Since I have an insurance background, I was aware of what salvage means. I was not looking for salvage but decided to drive down to look at Sam's operation. When I arrived I found a number of recent year, low mileage vehicles at VERY good prices. I asked Sam about repairs and was able to see repair shop and paint booth. I also had the option to take the vehicle to the shop of my choice to confirm that the repairs were done correctly. After all my research, I bought a very nice SUV ( Kia ) and have been very happy to date. You have to realize itso far is a salvage title and thus it will affect the value. I plan to drive this vehicle for at least 6-8 years and at that point, the fact that it is salvage should not make much difference when selling . Bottom line, Sam was very helpful and very honest. I would have no qualms about buy future vehicles from Sam as he was very fair and very honest . Thx Greg ----- 04/04/19----- I have now driven this vehicle for over two tears and 23,000 miles. I work overseas and wanted to purchase a late model F150 and hunted for the right model for about 4 months. I came across one for sale at American Auto Sales and decided to fly to Phoenix from Italy to purchase and ship back. Initial contact with the dealer was good and Sam answered all my questions and concerns. There was no game playing or hiding the fact the vehicle was a salvage auction repair. I arrived late at night in Phoenix and Sam was there the next morning to pick me up at my hotel with the truck. I had very little time as I had to make El Paso that evening for dinner with an old Army buddy. Let me tell ya, Sam hauled me around to the DMV and emissions inspection location and I managed to drive away with an AZ title in my name in my hand and a valid AZ registration. Big deal you say. It was, I am from TX and it takes 2-3 weeks to get a title there and you can't ship a vehicle overseas w/o the title in hand. I had a shipping date for the following week in Galveston and wanted valid tags and title so when the truck arrived overseas I could drive it for 12 months before registering in Italy, it was a major deal to me and Sam understood that and took care me. I would not have got it done without him. He made it happen.. The truck had repairs and I saw and found some things that needed more attention than the body guys did but I was OK with that, especially for the price, I had plenty of margin to do some additional repairs if needed. At no time did he try to hide things, he was straight up and I even "interrogated" him about his history and life story, he is a good guy with an interesting story. Thanks Sam, truck is in Italy now and looks/runs fine.

Everyone should know about this hidden gem before they buy from anywhere else! There's just such a huge selection, all extremely nice. I ultimately fell in love with a 2015 Hyundai Genesis with a V6. It is a powerful car in pristine condition, with interior and tech upgrades nicer than a 70k Mercedes on the inside. Sam is very nice and a pleasure to work with. I know anyone I refer here will feel the same way. :)

My husband and I were very, very skeptical of this place and the whole restored salvage status. So, I was surprised when Sam allowed us to have our potential purchase vehicle inspected by a dealership of our choice pre-purchase. I can tell you I have never gone to a Brand/Manufacturer dealership service center and received a completely clean service report to include 100% brake life, tire life etc. I did with the car from American Auto Sales. My husband still didn't believe the Brand/Buick dealership report that was emailed to him so he called and spoke with the manager of the Buick Service Center...Indeed it was true! Not even a certified used car (non restored salvage) is this good! The gentlemen that owns and runs this place is nothing short of amazing! He treated my daughter, who we were buying the vehicle for, very well and suffice to say we purchased the vehicle. The prices are below market even with restored salvage title. If you do a little research online you can confirm this. Thank you Sam! Recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Oh, and yes you can get full coverage..you just get a significantly reduced value if it's wrecked. Not much worse than new car depreciation though. I use Geico. Update: 1 year later not a single service issue with the Buick...Used as a daily driver for my daughter and grandkids...

Customer service is completely incompetent!! The minute I walked in I was asked if I wanted to pay cash or finance and if I had a credit score of 600 or more??..instead of acting accordingly on how customer service is suppose to be and asking the proper question on how can I be helped and what vehicle am I interested in!? How impolite and unprofessional of these people! Despite the fact that I have a 700 credit score, they need to learn how to provide better customer service! It was a complete turn off the way they welcomed me into their dealership (more so of a scattered parking lot, let’s not talk about the area) I originally came to their locating to look at the Mazarti, which I did. Keep in mind all these cars are SALAVGE, (You would think they would have a better attitude) I briefly looked at the mazarti cause they had it parked inside the office, which makes sense because they don’t want u to see it in the sunlight on how bad of a job they did with the whole rear end work, and the color isn’t even the same color if you pay attention. Glad I walked out of there! Price for that mazi is not worth what they are asking for! 3k off a clean title that is un salvaged. Look up the prices. Would not recommend this place to no one! Scammers and cheap are what they are for not wanting to invest a little more into a car there almost asking full clean title price for...don’t waste your time!

Though I did not end up purchasing the vehicle, I wanted to leave a review. Sam was very friendly and helpful. He showed me the vehicle I was interested in without any pressure, and allowed me to test drive without tagging along. I also planned on taking to an independent mechanic for an inspection which he was totally fine with! The vehicle had one too many cosmetic issues for the price, and though he was forthcoming and was willing to work with me some on the price, I still decided not to buy. Nonetheless, I would absolutely still recommend others to come by. I liked that he gently recommended other similar vehicles, again without pressure, that would work better for my budget and standards re:condition, but I was particular about what I wanted.This was my first time dealing with a salesman as I usually buy from private sellers, but he made me feel comfortable.
