Met a guy selling a used Accord at this dealership in order for them to perform a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle prior to us making an offer. While there, a sales-person approached the seller and offered to buy the car from him. Because of the price the salesperson offered the seller, we had to pay around a thousand dollars more than we otherwise would have. So, if you need a pre-purchase inspection on a car and want to have their salespeople cause you to pay more for the car than you would, go to Tameron Honda.

Beware of purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. After purchasing a used vehicle from Tamerac, I noticed a loud hum coming from the windshield area at highway speeds. I took it to my local dealership and they told me someone had replaced the windshield and broke the trim that goes around it and glued it and it was coming off and would eventually fail. I called Tameron and the service manager called me back and said they had not replaced the windshield therefore they are not responsible. I only had the vehicle for a month and this was a lease turn in so I expected the vehicle to be in great shape. There was damage to the back fender that they touched up with the wrong color. My point is don't rely on Tameron the sell a quality used car. Buyer beware.

I was looking to buy a new Honda Civic for my son. I am a member of Costco and this was the Honda dealership affiliated with their auto buying program closest to me but it was still 1 hour and 40 minutes away. I inquired online and someone from Tameron Honda got back to me quickly. They REFUSED to give a Costco price over the phone. The sales manager gave some song and dance about they if they did they could possibly lose their partnership with Costco. I told them I did not want to drive 1 hour and 40 minutes to "HEAR" their price. They refused. I must go to the dealership to get the price. i then called Costco's auto buying program to see if this was their policy. They said it was NOT!!! They lie obviously to just get people into their dealership. Costco gave me the name of another Honda/Costco dealership in GA but only 2 hours away. I called them, they gave me the price over the phone and guess what? I drove there and purchased it from them! It was easy!

I visited Tameron with the intention of doing some research for a future purchase. I’d already made my mind up about Hondas, as I’ve previously owned a couple and had no trouble with them at all. I had no intention of buying when I walked in, as I had a relatively new Jeep Wrangler and really didn’t think we could work a deal. In fact, I’d told the salesman waiting on me, Shiloh West, that the only way I could deal today would be if I could put zero money down, and they could lower my car payments. All I can say is, unless you’re ready to buy a car, don’t give these guys a challenge, lol. But seriously, I was very happy and satisfied to leave Tameron that day in my new 2019 Honda Civic Touring Sport. And yes, I paid zero down and have lower monthly payments than I did with the Jeep!

Mixed review. I’ve purchased two vehicles brand new from the dealership and it was a pleasure to deal with. However when looking to buy a used vehicle I dealt with a young man who’s only concern Was to make a sale as quick as possible. He attempted all the old-school salesman tricks. I would not think a dealership of this caliber would have someone like that working there. I would never purchase a vehicle from them again.

This is an updated review from a previous 5 star. Within a month, I found out my brand new 2019 Honda Accord did not have enough coolant. I had to go back to the dealership to get more. Then in three months, with only 766 miles on my car, it broke down (VSA modulator failed) on the road in a heavy raining day and I had to call a tow truck to send it back to the dealership. We were left in the rain to find our own ride home. Two days later, when I went back to get my car, I found some oil outside a container. I thought the worker splashed the oil and did not clean it. So I showed them and cleaned it. But a few days late, when I checked again, I found more oil leaked. Now I am still waiting for the replacing part to come while driving my car with leaking oil. Also after replacing the VSA modulator, an annoying strange noise started to show up frequently. With an only 4 month old car, I already had so many problems. I can't be happy :(

Very poor mechanical service. The customer service was great though! I brought my car in for a recall and they performed a basic checkup on my car and didn't even reset the ECU. I had to bring my car into another shop to have it reset to turn off my dashboard alerts.. A very basic checkup that I did not ask for caused issues and time in my day.

I DO NOT LIKE TAMERON HONDA. In March 2019, I stopped by Tameron Used Cars to buy a Honda Fit. I mentioned to the sales person that I had had an unpleasant experience with Tameron before, and I was hoping to have a better one this time (previously, the deal had been misquoted and finance manager yelled at my daughter). The experience was so bad that the last time I bought a car, Ii drove to Ensley to Serra Honda. The sales person and manager assured me that this experience would be a good one. I knew exactly what I wanted, so I made a decision quickly, but for some reason the process took several hours. When I got back, the car was backed into a parking space in front of the building. I got in the car, pulled out, and turned right. They had parked the car next to a very low (1-2 foot) retainer wall that was not visible from the driver's seat. As I turned right, the right back fender caught on the wall, bending the car. When I got out of the car and spoke to the manager , he said, "OOOOH, that's bad. I guess you need to call your insurance." I was so sick and upset that I just drove home. The next day Sunday I dropped off a letter to him saying that just out of human kindness, I thought he would have offered to work out something with the body shop to repair this accident. I did not hear from him until after my daughter called him upset and appalled that the car was parked there in the first place and that he had offered no help at all. The manager did call me, but once again he told me to talk to my insurance carrier. After an extended conversation, he offered to talk to the body shop. When I received the estimate, it was several hundred dollars over another estimate from a certified car dealer. - supposedly giving me a good deal. I am very dissatisfied with Tameron Honda for their lack of human kindness. I will not buy another car from them. Pretending to give me a good deal on the repair ($1300) and then charging more than another dealer ($950) is not good business. First of all, because the car has a short wheel base, it should have never been parked near the short retainer wall. I have taken pictures of the wall - From the looks of the wall, it has been hit before. I have been so sick over the damage on my car that it has taken me since March to write this review.

After an online enquiry for a used Civic I received a personal viden from Erika Stephens along with a phone call (that I wouldn't answer because I don't do phone calls) but after receiving my email with video from Erika I decided that was my 1st stop on my car hunting trip because this young lady took the time to step out in the hot sun and make me a video introduction herself only minutes after my online inquiry. She was very nice and professional and found what I might like and hadbit pulled right to the front door for me to test drive while she explained the cars options and features .Erika was great!! Not pushy just friendly and helpful. The entire staff was amazing making sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. I debated on whether or not to post this but after my phone call this morning I decided I would let my experience be known. The first week of July I saw 3 different adds on Facebook for Tameron Honda - the first was a blue 2019 Civic lx for $16,900 (with 300+ miles on it - it didn’t say used). the second was a 2018 Accord lx for $18,900, and the third was a 2019 Accord lx for $19,900 (if my memory is correct the Accord prices may be switched) - I walked in and asked to speak with a salesman who helped me in the past - I was told he was busy so another guy would help me in the mean time. He asked what I was looking for so I showed him the advertisement, I asked if those sales were still valid he said “I will check with my sales manager” he comes back with the keys to what I think is the advertised Civic, it’s the same color (both interior and exterior) so we drive it, and then we get back to the dealership and I asked about the Accords listed - he says he doesn’t have those particular vehicles but he had a grey one that would be along the same price point. We drive it - I loved both vehicles, when we returned I asked about looking at a CR-V he stated “that’s out of your price range” - I didn’t say anything because I was thinking the Civic and Accord were both going to be sold at advertised pricing. We go back, he asked for the keys to do a trade-in appraisal on my Santa Fe Limited - Ultimate (which I bought at the Tameron Hyundai store in December of 2018). He takes quite a while, I never said anything but waited - he comes back with a huge smirk and says “you’re going to be really happy, which to you want? All you have to do is sign.” I replied with let me look at the papers, the Civic was almost $23,000 and the Accord was almost $27,000 I asked why he thought I would be happy with those numbers and he acted confused, I told him those aren’t the prices I discussed with him and he said they had already sold the one listed - apparently there was an issue with whoever bought it they couldn’t prove proof of income so they had to return it, that was never stated - not once did he tell me those advertisements were vin specific, I told him I would like the keys to my vehicle back so I could leave and he threw his hands up and said “well what did you expect, us to just give you a car?” I was respectful in my response and said “no but I would like my keys back” he goes and gets the sales manager who still had my key and they both come up to me trying to convince me that this was a good deal - I asked for my key back repeatedly, I then said I wasn’t happy about the trade-in appraisal on my Santa Fe either and he said “that’s what you get with a Hyundai” ... I then left. This morning I received a phone call asking if I had bought yet and I told the person on the phone that I would never be back there again and how disrespected I felt, he didn’t apologize once for how I was treated, he ended the phone call and said “thanks for your time” I am giving two stars because my service department experiences have always been phenomenal - I have owned 2 Accords (both purchased at Brannon Honda because they were always able to beat the prices at Tameron). The service staff are awesome, same with the Hyundai service employees. I will not be back to Tameron Honda.

Excellent experience with William. A definite five star rating. He quoted prices at the very beginning regarding the services for my Honda Element I had inquired about. Once a mechanic's report appeared, he explained what other items needed attention and the price for each. He gave an estimated amount of time the work would take and delivered timely updates throughout the process by cell phone or in person. I never felt overlooked or sidelined in the crowd of customers and the work was completed within the predicted time. First class customer service!

This is my second run in with Tameron Honda in Hoover Al. The first time my wife, new born baby and I was looking for a Honda Pilot and we found one we loved. Until after 45 min of driving and getting the baby in and out of the cold we go inside for the them to tell us that the Pilot had severe front end damage at one time! so I just left I was so disappointed. Now today I took our Honda Pilot in for service and no we did not buy from Hoover Tameron, we drove all the way to Montgomery to get it. The service issue was due to the class action lawsuit for the 3.5 engine that has a problem with using a ton of oil and misfiring due to bad piston rings and fouling plugs. The warranty was extended for 8 years of the original purchase date and yes mine is still covered under it. Before I brought the car I had to put a new spark plug in it to get it there and I get a call saying they cant fix it until it misfires again! Tameron are you kidding me. after taking off work and buying a rental car I have to drive it around the block until a plug fouls out then you can rebuild the engine! This is insane. So I call McConnell Honda in Montgomery like I should have to begin with and they said come on we will fix it dont worry about a thing. I had every intentions of buying a new Honda this week but again it will not be from Tameron.

I went to look for a used Honda or other car. When I got there no one spoke to me for at least 10 minutes or so. When a used car salesman finally spoke to me, he asked me what I was looking for. I said cars under 15K, he quickly said "they don't have any cars below 15K. When I pressed him a little, he said " we only have these four in the back and they would NOT be Hondas." I was shocked since the other dealerships I went to near by had many. I went back home and searched the Honda dealership used inventory. It showed 35 used cars under 15k!!!!!!!!! I guess they have no interest in selling used cars to the average person and only want to sell more expensive cars....wow.

I purchased a used Honda Accord exactly a year from now from Tameron Honda. I have had problems with the car every since I purchased it. I've talked to several mangers. No one seems to care. My biggest problem is that my car has a leak. When it rains my back seats, floors and trunk floods. I understand I bought a used car, but didn't expect to have so many problems within a years time. Every problem I've had Tameron says that they cannot help. One guy did give me a referral for the water leak. I'll never buy a used car again. I will never buy from Tameron Honda again. The one star is because I really liked the the car.

Needed a wheel stud replacement on a Saturday. I knew dealerships are usually busy on weekends, so I called ahead. The receptionist was kind of impatient on the phone when I was trying to explain what repair I needed, but she just tell me to bring the car in and they’ll get it done. I even asked what time do I get there to get the repair done the same day, and she told me they take their last customer at 3pm. So I drove over as soon as I got off the phone and got there at noon, only to be told by the service adviser that he cannot take my car in because they are full (while other cars are getting pulled in for repairs). I explained my situation to the service adviser, and all I got was “I’m sorry she told you that, but I can’t help you. Have a great day.” The guy told me this with a clipboard in hand and forms ready to bring other cars into the shop. Wasted an hour of my time driving there and back, and barely made it in time to get my car fixed at another Honda dealer. It’s extremely unprofessional for them to tell all customers to bring their cars in while letting the service advisers pick and choose what repair jobs they want to do and turn other customers away. Not sure what their sales department is like, but I would NOT recommend the service department at Tameron. You’ll be better served bring your car to other Honda dealers in the area.

I love this Honda dealership! The express service is truly EXPRESS. Never do I have to get up super early to be the first in line for an oil change because regardless, they take care of you so quickly. Also, the lounge area is amazing. They have the best snacks and food. And the employee was adamant about keeping the area clean. In the entire 30 minutes I was waiting (yes, thirty minutes) she came to clean and organize the area 3 times. Always such an amazing experience with the most kind and courteous employees. Please Honda, don’t ever change! You’re the Chick-Fil-A of dealership service. Keep the amazing standard!

When I asked how much longer it would be, they stated the typical service time was 75-80 minutes. On top of that, they were pretty defensive. They should realize they do not have a monopoly on the market, and friendly service largely determines customer acquisition and retention. I always drive Honda's, so when I purchase a new car in a few years, it WILL NOT be from this dealer.

Family member purchased a car here, has had no end of issues with the service department. Sales staff were average at best, service department is unacceptable. Large selection of vehicles, clean store. Prices slightly high and unwilling to negotiate. Would only buy here if I had no other options. Update: A second trip to the dealership showed me that they have made improvements with the sales staff, and the treatment I recieved the second time through was far better than the first trip. Recently purchased a 2017 Civic Si, and it was a night and day difference from the last visit I had. Have not yet had any experience with the service department since my purchase, but should anything change in that regard, I will amend this rating with regards to that. Prices are still a little high, but the buying experience was much better this time around, and i ended up with the car I wanted, and was treated with respect and taken seriously when I arrived.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO TAMERON HONDA INSTEAD!! You'll thank me. Here is why: My experience at Brannon Honda: I had an appointment to look at the only black 2019 Honda Civic SI they had. I showed up on time. Upon first entry, no one greeted me as I spent at least 10 minutes in the lot. I went inside and the receptionist was kind of rude. I ended up spending 20+ minutes talking with someone in internet sales while a salesman ran around town unable to find this car that I had an appointment to look at. Why wasn't it waiting for me? Is my time not worth something? Then I sat down to start talking numbers. Josh, the finance manager insulted me and my situation. He low balled my trade-in on a 2019 jeep Wrangler with 6500 miles after the salesman, Brian, I think was his name (old black guy - his desk is right behind the receptionist), told me "that's not how it works" when I wanted the price below MSRP and then Josh refused my business almost promptly. Josh seemed rattled that someone who can use math and knew what they wanted started immediately talking numbers. Maybe intimidated because they couldn't easily play number games and get one over? The "internet" customer service lady, Tawanna (I'm probably spelling wrong and mispronouncing because her name is unique - white lady with blonde hair) was great to talk with, even if she couldn't help my situation after getting me in the office just to have me standing around. The entire trip was a waste of time, filled with a lack of professionalism. If you're spending $20,000+ of your hard earned money, why would you want this experience? My experience at TAMERON HONDA: I made no appointment, simply showed up and became family. Upon first entry, I had 2 salesmen waving at me as I parked. I had a firm hand shake with eye contact and a smile, immediately. Very welcoming! My salesman, Brandon Crawley, was so easy to get along with and didn't waste my time in the least. We promptly went to the Black 2019 Civic SI (The EXACT same package, model, and sticker as the one here at Don'tWasteYourTime Honda, aka Brannon) and got ready for a test drive. The transaction was very simple and we reached an agreement on numbers without pressure and without time wasting. They offered me $5000 more on my trade-in than Brannon AND agreed on a number $3000 below MSRP. Deal of the century! I felt at home everywhere I went and with everyone I met at Tameron Honda. From sales to financing to management to service, and even to the lounge which offers SO MUCH FOOD for free! BRANDON CRAWLEY was an awesome salesman and extremely professional and not pushy AT ALL!! I could not have asked for a better experience all the way around. They've earned my respect, money, and repeat business and referrals!! Beware with Brannon!!

While I waited I had coffee, donuts, and even chicken biscuits. My service technician kept me informed by phone. Tracy is the only female technician and she understood my needs. Buyer beware . I just purchased a 2009 Chevy Traverse from here at the end of May. They provided paperwork on them changing the oil and servicing the transmission and the car sounded and drove great for a few days . We were told by 3 shops that the trans needed to be replaced due to mechanical failure. We had it replaced at over 4k. Now it makes a clatter noise at first start. Back to the mechanics and now we need a new timing kit. The car only has 127k miles on it. Were told the the car had trouble codes wiped from it before we purchased it that would have let us know about the trans issue.Will never buy another as is car or car from them. This car should have been sold at auction for parts. Thanks and beware.

Definitely do no recommend. My experience happened several months ago, but I just thought I’d share. Undervalued my trade in by $4000 compared to dealership right down the road. Exact quote from other dealership, “I don’t know why tameron was offering so low, but we will give you $5000 more than they will. Here’s the number...” And no, there was no trade in special at the other dealership. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to let you have an excellent condition twin turbo E93 BMW 335i with 92,000 miles for your insulting offer price. I know it is 10 years old, but come on... KBB, Edmunds and TrueCar all listed its trade-in value WELL above that. They make you sign a document saying you’ll buy the car before you even see the numbers, which is just a pathological game they play with you. It isn’t enforceable in civil court, but they know once you sign a document, humans have a predisposed sense of moral obligation to follow through with the initial agreement. They’ll use that against you and say “well you already signed this document here saying you’d buy the car if we got the numbers close to what you wanted.” If they don’t have the vehicle you want, they’ll use high pressure sales to try to get you into something you didn’t ask for instead of tracking down what you want. Also, quit trying to sell me on how awesome Honda is. Nothing against Hondas, they’re great vehicles. But I don’t need you to convince me that it is the ultimate vehicle. Honda hasn’t manufactured anything amazing outside of their Formula 1 vehicles since they quit manufacturing the S2000. And now for the salespeople. Imagine your salespeople of the 90s and before. That is how these people operate. It just feels sleazy. I will never go back to Tameron again.

Worst Honda dealer in the area, they are not upfront about pricing, and will tell you one thing but do another. I used to at least like their service department but it’s useless now too. Made a complaint on their social media page and instead of trying to correct the issue was blocked by them instead. Word of advise read the fine print. Everytime I get the best service from the friendliest people. The phones are answered quickly, emails returned promptly, questions are answered, and the repair or maintenance is done very quickly. The air conditioning fix-job on the Honda Civic I brought in seemed to have worked for about 2 months before the A/C stopped producing cold air again.
