The manager and his staff were extraordinary. After a week I was still talking about the experience. Ended up buying a XC90 from them and was treated better than I have ever been treated at a dealership. No haggling at all and they went above and beyond to take care if every detail even to this day. They answered all our questions patiently and took the time to show us all the features the XC90 had. We spent hours there and they did not make us feel like we were taking up their time. Volvo has superior customer service and I will purchase all my future cars from them.

Took my vehicle in for a complimentary 20k mile service and they tacked on $70 of fuel and oil additives without asking. Most expensive "free" oil change I have ever had. They also didn't wash the car, which the paperwork said they did. Just seems sleezy...

I was looking for a reliable used car for my college student. Century Volvo had an XC 90 that had been previously owned by a very satisfied and loyal customer. Their service department knew the vehicle well and they had taken care of everything it needed before it was put on the lot to sell. The vehicle was fairly priced, well maintained and immaculately detailed. Thank you, Century Volvo, for being professional experts in your field!!

Lets see how they do with the car we bought with the cracked rim. If they replace it we will have no complaints. UPDATE: So they did the right thing and took care of the rim. So far have only had GOOD experience with them.

My friend brought her 2012 XC60 to have it looked at after another low class shop BRAKES FOR LESS installed a fuel pump. The car was making abnormal engine noises on startup and while driving made other noises never heard before. The car was brought to the dealership at 8:30, we drove with a technician and left the car to be looked at. The service manager did not call. Finally my friend called to see what was going on. The service manager said he had not ticket on it, so she said she would just come and pick it up. Well guess what? There was a $125.00 charge to look at the car. Then the service manager presented her with an itemized cost estimate for over $5,000 that included tires, brakes and a whole litany of other stuff not pertaining to the noises. The car was not looked at in the least bit. It was evident that the general rap sheet for a 2012 XC60 with 144k was slapped together and my friend was charged $125.00 for nothing. Today she took it to a reputable technician and right off he discovered bolts that BRAKES FOR LESS had not installed and contributed to the abnormal sounds. So why didn't the "trained" technician at the dealership find the obvious problems? Probably because the car was NOT LOOKED AT. Sad day when it costs $125.00 to get nothing done to your car. Must be the expensive paper or the service manager charges to "write stuff up."

My first experience with Century Volvo was when I bought an S60 from Andrew Driver. From the test drive to the financing, everything with that purchase went very well, and I knew I would definitely be a repeat customer. This was reaffirmed when I saw the level of commitment when various situations found me in the Service Department. I quickly learned that whether I have a preowned vehicle or the current model year, the Service staff, especially Tykeya Jones and Austin Bier, would always be available to assist me with anything from routine maintenance and providing loaner vehicles, to answering what I am sure were (and will continue to be) my countless "operator error" questions. Although there is a Volvo dealership here in Birmingham, Century’s outstanding employees and customer service standards are why I gladly choose to travel two hours to Huntsville. When I recently decided an SUV better suited my needs, I returned to Century because from the moment I walked into the dealership to purchase this vehicle to when I return in the future for regular service appointments, I could and can expect to be treated exceptionally well. Once again Andrew was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable and everyone I interacted with ensured the process went smoothly, quickly, and painlessly (to me, that is an impressive feat when buying a car). I could go on and on about how terrific I find every aspect of Century Volvo to be (Damont Hewlett made signing the seemingly endless paperwork a pleasure, Andrew was gracious and spent far more time with me than was necessary to explain the SUV’s features, and Tykeya and Austin both took the time to come over and congratulate me on my new purchase), but if a picture is worth a 1,000 words and since I rarely, if ever, like to have my picture taken, I believe this photo is a testament to the fantastic customer service I have received from everyone in Sales, Finance/Business, and Service since day 1.

If you’ll read all these comments you’ll notice a trend of rude, lazy workers who don’t know anything about customer service. Nobody wants to help. Constant pressure upsale tactics and once the cash is in the account they couldn’t care less. From the person that answers the phone to the service department just lousy, rude service. Take your money elsewhere- you’ll be glad you did!!!

I had the worst experience here! I would not recommend to anyone and will not be going back! The service people had extremely POOR customer service. They tried to blame me for the reason my tires (that lasted under a year) were worn, when they weren’t aligned right! Then not four hours after I got my car back from getting new tires, my check engine light came on. I took it the next morning and Austin Bier (?) the service manager, was very rude. I cannot believe what I had to deal with but thank God I’m dating a mechanic or else I would have been ripped off! I will be selling my Volvo because of all the issues that have just been overlooked by them and the absolutely terrible customer service.

I would just like to say that our salesman, Tim, was AMAZING! He thoroughly went through every detail of the XC90 & was so knowledgeable & friendly--you can tell he loves his job! Unfortunately, We did end up going with another vehicle for my husband (his first choice gave him what he wanted) but I am seriously thinking of trading in my own new car for a Volvo because of all the options, safety features and most of all the impeccable service! Highly recommend this dealership & ask for Tim!

I recently had my car in at Century Volvo to have the windshield re-glued because water was leaking in through windshield. This was a problem on the 2012 models of my XC60, my car is a 2013 XC60. My service advisor David went ahead and called Volvo to see if the would cover the issue since it was a problem in the previous year's model. Well, lucky for me they did and my service was free! Thank you David and thank you Volvo for doing the right thing and saving me what could have been a significant expense.

Our sales consultant, Jim Stilson, was impressive. He has been selling the Volvo brand for decades and had a great knowledge of both the safety and convenience/technology features of the vehicle. We have purchased 8 vehicles from Century Auto Group since 2012 - this is our first Volvo. Based on our experience, so far, I doubt this will be our last.

I'm not sure where to begin. I bought a Volvo XC60 from this dealership in December 2018. Before I could drive it off the lot, a pump in the sunroof stopped working and the sunroof wouldn't close. Over the course of 8 weeks, the DC-DC convertor stopped working, the door locks stopped working, the USB port stopped working, the parking sensors stopped working, the display on the dash got ridiculously slow, and the ABS and the Alarm System both failed. There were also numerous software updates that had to be done, and a popping sound everytime I turned the steering wheel. Long story short, this vehicle was a complete piece of junk. Mike in service and Andrew the sales associate started acting very rude to me like somehow I wanted to bring my vehicle to them every week and wait for it to get fixed. They made it seem like it was my fault that they sold me a lemon. I honestly couldn't believe how they started treating me. I ask the sales manager, Oren, several different times for a buyback option, and never once received it. I last spoke with Oren, Andrew and Mike all in February expressing my concerns once again about this vehicle. I never heard another word back from them. I ended up trading it in at a different dealership for a different vehicle and haven't had one single issue. I will never again go back to this dealership, and I advise others not to also.
