My daughter and I went to the used car department and purchased a car. The salesman told us that the tires on the car that we purchased were brand new. We find out 5 months later that it was almost time for some new tires and that the tires were not new. Now I am wondering what else did they lie about. I would not recommend buying a car from the used car department. You are better off buying a new one off the new car lot.

I found the best price on the exact late model used vehicle with the colors and trim level that I had been searching for at Brannon Honda in Birmingham, Al. I wish it were possible to give this place zero stars. They don't charge sales tax while there, so you get hit with a $600 fee when you register your car. They, of course, don't communicate this to you. They are completely disorganized. My down payment was finally taken from my credit card a month and a half later! They told me certain documents were ready for me, so I drove two hours round trip only to find out that they weren't ready. Also, they took my license and forgot to give it back to me. I was without my drivers license for 4 days. I emailed Patrick Brannon two weeks ago hoping we could resolve these issues, but I haven't heard back from him after he promised to get back to me. I guess customer service does not matter to the staff at Brannon Honda.

Poor sales staff. We were given much better offers from multiple other dealers. We gave Brannon an opportunity to match the other offers because they are more convenient; we were told we didn't "understand" what the other dealers were offering and that the other dealers were lying and we would be crying to them soon. We bought the same car from a different dealer for a better price. If you work next door to Brannon, drive to the next dealer and you will be glad you did!

I have visited 3 Honda dealerships when I was looking for our new car. Brannon might not have the best coffee or furniture, but their prices were way below other dealerships. All together with my trade in and total price, it was an astonishing 10k less than other local dealer. Don't let center point location scare you, it's nice and save, and most importantly you can get great price.

I am outraged at how Brannon Honda treated my fiancee, Misty. She was e9 bring to buy another Honda and this one was a hybrid. It need a IMA batterry which was under warranty. She would not have bought the Honda if they would have told her no about fixing it. They told her they woild fix it under warranty so she decided to buy the car. Now her "friend" has disappeared and she is stuck with a car she cant drive. She didn't know too much about hybrids but thought it would be great on gas to get herself and her son around. She had recently lost everything when she was burglarized including her last car. Liability only insurance. She lost her business and even had to let her son live with her parents. She cleaned houses and saved scrap metal until she could buy this car from a friend. It needed a new IMA battery and the day we went to Honda they told her they would fix it ...no problem. It has been over a month now and she is stuck with a car that she can't even drive bc they didn't fix it for her. I have always had good dealings with Honda. They usually make me second keys to the Honda's I buy and resale. I always send people to them to buy new Honda's and to get theirs worked on. Maybe they will make this right with her but it has been over a month and we don't know what to do. I may have to rethink with whom I do business with.

3/24/2014 Sales team is outstanding! Service Department has to be the worst ever! Took my car in for first oil change and tire rotation on 2/27/2014 (note I was the last service of the day). Also note, the sales pitch of extended mileage before oil change will be changed and you will be told that you need to get oil changed every 5000 miles rather than according to Honda's recommendation of 15% oil life remaining. In less than 30 days after tire rotation all 4 rotors were warped, but pads were in good shape (8000 MM). Service manager said it could be related to overheating, over cooling, or over torquing lug nuts. Problem didn't start until tires were rotated. They only wanted to resurface (turn) the rotors and not replace pads. Would never admit that it was there fault. After speaking with American Honda, I finally am getting the rotors replaced and new pads. BUT...the workmanship doesn't carry any further warranty. Imagine that from what is suppose to be a reputable dealer and certified HONDA service center. This will be my first and last experience with Brannon Honda.

I had a great car buying experience with Brannon. I wasn't really wanting to make a car purchase, but knew I had to do something. A vehicle became available on their lot and I explained the very tight economic corridor that I had to operate within and they were able to pull it off for me. Now, I'm driving a much newer, more dependable and, perhaps most importantly, fuel friendly car in my 2011 Honda CRZ. If you have a Honda lawn mower or other small engine STAY AWAY. They diagnosed my rough idle as a bad carburetor. It took about a week to the the part. Then they said they swapped it out. This work did not fix the problem (so they say). Then they THINK it might be something else. I got tired of the excuses and told them I’ll take the mower and take it to Bob’s. They wanted $200 to swap out a carb. Before paying, I looked at the work. IT WAS NOT DONE. I told them that I am paying for a carb swap. This is not done. They adjusted the price for me. What I don’t like is that they tried to get away with charging me $200 for unfinished work. I took it to Bob’s, they said my carb was not new and is clogged. They cleaned the old one and it works like new for $80. Not only did Brannon try to charge me for unfinished work. They charged me for work they never did. (This is per Bob’s Power Equipment). This is an issue with business ethics. If I could give negative stars I would.

I know they have mixed reviews, but I took my 2003 Pilot here after Tameron Honda completely broke one of the seats when I came in for an oil change. I felt very welcome, and the service was quick. I came back here again and was pleased a second-time around. The management is overworked hence maybe why there are some poor reviews, but it's definitely better for service than Tameron Honda is. Tameron is all about the money. Brannon cares more about you.

I took my Honda Element in yesterday for a service recall on an airbag. I called Saturday midday and scheduled an appointment for 7:30am on Monday. I planned to drop it off. When I arrived, I was told I had no appointment scheduled. They insisted that the Saturday crew didn't send it through properly. They were accommodating of this and took me right away. Kevin Anderson was the Service Advisor helping me. He was professional and promote. He told me he would call when the car was ready. I asked him to check a rear tire that had a slow leak. When he called me to let me know the recall had been replaced (at 11:37am) he asked if I wanted them to plug the hole in the tire. He indicated it would cost $25. I agreed and he said they would go ahead and plug it. I arrived at Brannon Honda at 1:07pm. I was then told it was almost ready. I waited another hour and asked about it and was told my another worker it was finishing up. At 2:40pm Kevin Anderson happened to see me and asked about the car and I told him I was still waiting. He then went and found the paperwork that was sitting on another worker's desk. Because of the long wait, he indicated he would waive the tire plug charge. This was a nice gesture. Overall, my experience at Brannon Honda was not a good one. The facility was nice, and they showed accommodating efforts. However, their efficiency and respect of customer's time was subpar. Based on this, I would not recommend bringing your Honda (or any vehicle) to Brannon. If you do, it seems appointments don't mean much.

The people are nice; the place is clean. I know because I've been back for service numerous times with a Honda Civic I bought new in 2014. I bought a nice car, but the battery drains all the time and I need reliable transportation. The car has 15,000 total miles and it has had 4 batteries. Their solution is to keep bringing it in for service or sell it back to the dealership at their awful black book prices. I even bought the extended warranty that has turned out to be no help! I wouldn't recommend Brannon Honda mainly because they can't find the problem or fix my car. **** ** Amy and Sean from Brannon called today to try to figure out a solution. I appreciate their zeal. They want me to bring it in and drive another loaner - and probably put a fifth battery in the car. This would mean the car will have had an average of one battery every 3,000 miles I've driven it. I don't want a car that has gone through so many batteries! They did offer me close to blue book value as a trade in, but at the end of the day, that would mean I've taken too great a financial hit on a Civic I have driven so few miles. Also every time I took it in, the service people tried to make me feel it was my fault - I don't appreciate that. I will never use them again and I think I'm going to write a letter to Mr. Brannon over in Vestavia about how his sons are doing business.

I've bought multiple vehicles for personal and business use from Brannon Honda and have always had a great experience with both the sales and service staff. The car sales process can sometimes take much longer than is necessary but at Brannon Honda the sales process was easy and swift. When I have take my car into get serviced(which is usually only for oil changes and recommended mileage services) the service dept. is helpful and courteous. They also give me a ride back to my office and bring me back to pickup my car when it is ready. I'd definitely recommend Brannon Honda for new and used car buying.

'd like to talk about a female trying to purchase a car. My husband, Don, worked at Roebuck Honda (now Brannon Honda) for 25 years before he died. I own a 2012 Honda Civic wiith 27,000 miles and thought I wanted a new car, one with two doors instead of 4 because it's hard for me with my back and knees to get out of the smaller front door on a 4 door. So I went to Brannon. I knew i wouldn't get offered much more than the Kelly Blue Book value for my car because it has a dent in the back trunk lid. NOW, I'VE ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF THIS CAR. IT HAS 4 NEW TIRES. I RECENTLY GOT AN OIL CHANGE WITH THE SYNTHETIC BLENDED OIL. WHAT COULD GO WRONG? Let me tell you...They offered me 3000 dollars for my car as a trade in. WHAT? They told me that the KBB was wrong and they would have to change the breaks and replace the trunk lid and paint it. So I looked. A brand new lid for my car would cost 191.83. Paint would cost 48 dollars a half gallon and as small as the trunk lid is, I'm sure a half gallon is more than enough. Brannon Honda...my husband's old dealership wanted me...a 65 year old on a fixed income to pay 18,000 for a car. ROFLMAO. So I asked my son to try to trade his car in. He has a 2010 Kia sedan with 50,000 miles on it. He went to a dealership in Dothan. They told him he could get a new Kia for less than 10,000 by trading in his old one. WHAT? His car is older, has more miles, has dents and dings from the parking lot and doesn't have new tires. The difference is HE'S A MAN. I hereby charge all car dealerships with bigotry towards women. He was offered a 2019 and all I wanted was a 2018. Go figure.

Little did I know Mr. Bryant Blanchard would take care of my needs. He turned my small joke into a huge reality. Bought a new Ridgeline RTL-E a couple of weeks ago and had an overall very positive experience, not to mention at the best price in the area. My salesman Brian, is a real pro who knows his business. I was in and out in perhaps 1.5 hours, and as I didn't trade in a vehicle had no way to get the new one home, which was about 25 miles. No problem, as Brian drove it to my house (almost beat me there), and had his colleague follow him in another vehicle. I experienced NONE of the sleazy tactics often used by many dealers. Everything considered, I would highly recommend Brannon HONDA, and many thanks to Brian Moore and the entire staff!

Finaaly got them to process the refund , but because they took so long we are still going to have to pay. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO TAMERON HONDA INSTEAD!! You'll thank me. Here is why: My experience at Brannon Honda: I had an appointment to look at the only black 2019 Honda Civic SI they had. I showed up on time. Upon first entry, no one greeted me as I spent at least 10 minutes in the lot. I went inside and the receptionist was kind of rude. I ended up spending 20+ minutes talking with someone in internet sales while a salesman ran around town unable to find this car that I had an appointment to look at. Why wasn't it waiting for me? Is my time not worth something? Then I sat down to start talking numbers. Josh, the finance manager insulted me and my situation. He low balled my trade-in on a 2019 jeep Wrangler with 6500 miles after the salesman, Brian, I think was his name (old black guy - his desk is right behind the receptionist), told me "that's not how it works" when I wanted the price below MSRP and then Josh refused my business almost promptly. Josh seemed rattled that someone who can use math and knew what they wanted started immediately talking numbers. Maybe intimidated because they couldn't easily play number games and get one over? The "internet" customer service lady, Tawanna (I'm probably spelling wrong and mispronouncing because her name is unique - white lady with blonde hair) was great to talk with, even if she couldn't help my situation after getting me in the office just to have me standing around. The entire trip was a waste of time, filled with a lack of professionalism. If you're spending $20,000+ of your hard earned money, why would you want this experience? My experience at TAMERON HONDA: I made no appointment, simply showed up and became family. Upon first entry, I had 2 salesmen waving at me as I parked. I had a firm hand shake with eye contact and a smile, immediately. Very welcoming! My salesman, Brandon Crawley, was so easy to get along with and didn't waste my time in the least. We promptly went to the Black 2019 Civic SI (The EXACT same package, model, and sticker as the one here at Don'tWasteYourTime Honda, aka Brannon) and got ready for a test drive. The transaction was very simple and we reached an agreement on numbers without pressure and without time wasting. They offered me $5000 more on my trade-in than Brannon AND agreed on a number $3000 below MSRP for the Civic SI. Deal of the century! I felt at home everywhere I went and with everyone I met at Tameron Honda. From sales to financing to management to service, and even to the lounge which offers SO MUCH FOOD for free! BRANDON CRAWLEY was an awesome salesman and extremely professional and not pushy AT ALL!! I could not have asked for a better experience all the way around. They've earned my respect, money, and repeat business and referrals!! Beware with Brannon!!

In March of 2013, I came to your dealership to purchase a Honda Civic for my daughter as she headed off to college. I sat with one of your salesmen and found the perfect one for her, a fully loaded 2010 Civic. It had everything my daughter had asked for in her first car – tinted windows, sunroof, mag rims, premium sound, and more. I was completely happy to have found just what she wanted and couldn’t wait to pay for it. I had my own financing secured for the car, so I left to go to my bank and pick up the check. In the meantime, I asked my salesman to call me when the car was ready for pickup. When he called, I immediately headed that way. However, upon arrival, I realized I didn’t see the car anywhere. At first the salesman walked the lot with me to “help me look for it”. Eventually, though, he let go of the game and admitted that he was directed by his manager to sell the car while I was gone. I can’t tell you how upset I was to hear this. My daughter was leaving for school in two days and I was standing there being told that the car I had finally decided on had intentionally been sold from under me! I had to get her a vehicle that day, so I went ahead and purchased my number two choice for her; however, I told the salesman that day that I would never purchase a vehicle from Brannon Honda again. The true, the whole ambience and decorations, offer are good but the bad part comes with the financing process, they are really sharks, and another thing they force of to get the insurance. Each time we called ahead to let him know we were interested in a new Accord, he had most of the fine tape finished before we even walked in the dealership. After calling twice today and speaking to someone they suggested I have recalls fixed at another dealership since I didn't purchase the vehicles from them. Service department is not helpful.

Took my car into the service department on Friday, they said they'd probably be able to get it done by the end of the day. They called us at the very end of the day with what needed done on it and they hadn't even started working on it yet. Said they needed parts they didn't have. After Labor Day had passed my husband called on Tuesday. They said they'd either have it done by the end of the day or early on Wednesday but they'd call to give an update. Well, they never called and when we tried to call to see what was going on the dealership was open but the service department was already closed. So we went in early on Wednesday morning at 7am and then waited for 45 minutes to get my car. Now I'm late for work, didn't get an apology and when I made a comment how disappointed I was in the service the guy who was putting my paper work together didn't even look up or say anything to acknowledge my complaint. When I told him I wanted to think about the purchase, he replied with “I don’t understand why people come on a Saturday knowing we expect you to buy. I would rather spent my time with someone who was serious.” It was all extremely high pressure, and the time spent with him made me regret the whole experience. I called with an engine emergency during my cross country trip. I was forwarded to 3 different people and the last person I was forwarded to didn’t answer and gave me a voicemail. I left a message and asked them to call me back ASAP so I could bring my car in in the morning. No one called back so I called again and was assured by the front desk the next person would pick up the phone and help me. I was forwarded and no one answered AGAIN so I left ANOTHER message to call me back so I could come in in the morning as I had a 10 hour trip to do that day. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK EVER not even the next morning!

Salesmen was nice, but it goes downhill fast! I had driven from Calera to Roebuck to look at a Toyota 4Runner. I liked the Vehicle but there was several things wrong with it. The front driver side bumper had been damaged the vehicle wouldn’t start first off. The salesman said he would have the battery checked. I thought they should do the touch up on the paint like Tameron Honda does but they wouldn’t do that. I could go on and on. I purchased the vehicle and I don’t drive it everyday so less than a week I went to start the vehicle and of course it wouldn’t start! I had to spend about two hundred dollars on a new battery. Of course it starts every time now!

Lots of wasted time emailing with Sarah Stone who did not seem to understand that I wanted to BUY a CIVIC, not talk about the dealership or make an appointment. Why make it so hard to BUY a car? If I wanted to visit a dealership, I wouldn't be shopping online.

Purchased a 2017 Hyundai Elantra from there in late may for my daughter. Fast forward to August, time for first oil change, and SEL is on also. On the way to the Hyundai dealership for service the car stops and has to get towed to dealership. Hyundai dealership says engine is shot due to oil filter installed incorrectly. After calling Brannon Honda a few times andnot getting to manger, I decided to visit. Immediately after arriving I met with user car sales manager David Snow. He stated that they would make it right, called the Hyundai dealership and told me to come back for a loaner. That to me is customer service at it's best.

I had a terrible experience with this dealership. They sold me a pre-owned vehicle with 60k miles that looked good on the outside but it literally started to fall apart two weeks after I bought it. I tried to rectify the situation by taking it back and trading it in but they refused to take it back. They told me I would loose $9000 in equity. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Wow, just wow!! Our 2014 Pilot started running really rough last weekend while traveling in Birmingham, and we couldn't get the 240 miles home. After bunking overnight at a great Hampton Inn in Leeds, we were towed to Brannon Honda. They diagnosed the problem quickly (2 bad plugs and 1 bad coil pack). The coil pack wasn't in stock, but they installed a slightly used one the mechanic had from another repair (at no charge for the part). That got us on our way home without a 2nd night in a hotel. Throughout the process, Patrick (the BEST service rep. EVER) walked us thru the process, explained the options, listened to our sob story, and even waited patiently while I had to be on a business conference call. He also arranged the replacement of our recalled passenger air bag!! He was courteous and kind. He met every request with a "can do" attitude. He made us want to move to Birmingham !!! Could y'all please open a dealership in Toccoa, GA?!!

Love my car that I got in January but since then they are the rudest service people to ever deal with. Always make it seem like you are an inconvenience to them and rush you. I call to ask simple questions about my car or coverage that I pay EXTRA for and they make you feel like an idiot. I would not recommend you go here to service your car. Heather quoted me $1100 to repair the flywheel over the phone. When I picked up the car it was $1600. If you do go here , get the quote in writing. Not a trustworthy dealership. Do not plan on ever going there again for anything!

Kevin Malone met me on Wednesday around 7pm I was just stopping to look at the stock which was plenty, he was friendly and not pushy and I told him I would be in Saturday early, we met on Sat and drove 3 cars until I decided on a Accord Sport with a 2.0 T motor, after running my credit I found out they use your lowest score not the highest which was disheartening because Honda turned me down, Kevin calmly told me to hang on and he would keep trying to get me approved, eventually they told me to chose a 4 door Civic or LX Accord and I refused to settle for a bottom base car so I asked if I could go with a base Sport Accord and he said he would ask his finance manager until finally they got me approved, would recommend over Tameron Honda as my friend bought a HRV from Tameron last year and they do NOT offer you 1 year of free oil changes nor the Lifetime powertrain and you feel like your not important, Brannon Honda and Kevin make a GREAT team experience...love my NEW car!
