Initially I drove to this dealership just to browse around. As soon as I got out of the car, I was warmly greeted by Calvin Pogue, a salesman there. He wasn't pushy nor did he follow me around, which I liked. He however, did let me know he was there to guide me if I decided to purchase a car. But I didn't that day. Instead, I rode around searching for the perfect car. So to Capitol Chevorlet, I went. I was jerked around and felt almost pressured to make a car purchase. Glad I didn't. Three days later, I remembered how courteous Calvin was at American Car and decided to return. Soooo glad I did! Calvin let me be in charge and he listened to me. He wasn't pushy. After working up the deal, he told me to pick me out a car and fall in love with it. I did just that! I picked out a silver Kia Soul and took it for a spin. Upon returning from my test drive, I knew that was my car! I went in and told Calvin I was in love and wanted the Kia Soul! He made it happen and in no time I was on my way! I drove off the lot in a 2014 Kia Soul with super low miles and clean as a whistle inside and out! Its practically brand new! Not too mention, it has new tires and a fresh oil change! Calvin Pogue gave the best service you can possibly get! He was awesome and very honest. Go see him at American Car Sales and tell him I sent u! Oh did I mention your car is covered by a warranty and u get free oil changes! Now thats a deal that's hard to beat! Go talk to Calvin Pogue and let him hook u up too!

Well, i went here & sorry not sorry they aren’t professional. When I got there the lady at the front desk was on the phone, I didn’t see that unprofessional sign on her desk that read “If I’m on the phone, please have a seat in the waiting area” so as I was standing there and she got off the phone. She was like “how may I help you” WITH AN ATTITUDE! So I asked can I talk with one of their salesman’s. She said they are all over there huddled in that office. So I went over and asked for someone & I wasn’t greeted like a customer should. I sat in the waiting area while one of the salesman that told me to come in..left and went to pick up her son. I had already had my paper filled out & as im sitting there it was other salesman just on their phones and looking at other customers waiting around. When the salesman (woman) got back she went straight into her office and sat down. 20 minutes passed by and she finally gets up from her desk to go outside with the other guy to go take a smoking break. She then got finished and came back in and went straight to her desk & as I looked back at her waiting she sent a guy over to come help me. There was another lady there just not dressed as work appropriately. She passed me a pen smelling like cigarettes also. I Think this place really needs new management.

Worst experience .. got a car there because I been having car trouble .. had the car a month and half .. it broke down on me .. had to pay my own rental for two months and 1600 dollar to get it fix and pay the car note .. because they would not pay for it to get fix .. call warranty service for a whole week .. the representative got an attitude with me .. the manager would not speak to me ... the call me back a week later to tell me how much it cost .. worst place to get a car .. they sell lemons and expect u to pay a high car note and fix it yourself .. never gain.. I wouldn’t recommend my enemies to go there..

I went to look at a car did app and all and was gonna put down the payment when the car was available. The next day they called and told me i forgot my appointment i had to remind him that i kept my appointment and then he remebered who i was. He has called my job twice and texts i told him to stop and that i will move forward when im ready that was yesterday and guess what he just texted again talk about harassment. I will definitely buy here from now on. Great service. They don’t push sales down your throat and try to hurry you through as if you’re wasting their time like most dealers. They actually listen to the customer and try to get them what they want. They won’t push that car in the corner that’s been sitting there for months and doesn’t sell. They have auctions and other means of caring for those cars. They would rather have a loyal repeat customer than push shady deals.
