Amazing! We hired WRM to cater our wedding at the nearby Rock Campground & Resort. Denise, the catering director at WRM, was very patient with us as we decided our entrees and sides. Everything was executed perfectly at the wedding. Pork and roasted turkey were cooked to perfection and everyone especially LOVED the grilled corn and ohh the smells!! I highly recommend going with these guys for a wedding or massive event, they're professional, punctual, and awesome to work with.

Been buying their landjaegers from convenience stores for years. I stopped into their facility yesterday for my first time. It's basically meat heaven. Cooked up some New York Strips last night (less than $10 each) and they were excellent. Great marbling, flavor, and very tender. I'm not local but I'll certainly be stocking up the next time I'm in the area. They also have ground elk, lots of buffalo, and great prices on lamb.

ordered red skinned hot dogs. came 3 day ship. they were not in Styrofoam and dried ice. called and the lady sAid that because they were smoked they did not have to be cold were as the package says keep refrigerated. wake up.

We has Wisconsin River Meats cater our wedding in June, and they were absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent. We had a buffet style dinner with the pig roast and quarter chicken, with roasted potatoes, green beans and pasta salad. Everyone raved about the delicious food. The catering staff was right on time for the reception, and extremely professional. Everything was ready to serve right on time. Denise, the event coordinate, was a delight to work with. She was available for questions during the tasting day, and very responsive by email leading up to the wedding. We are so happy we chose Wisconsin River Meats for our wedding meal, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for event catering!

Dropped my deer off in the beginning of gun season, called multiple times and can get no answer on why my deer isnt ready yet. Its been almost three months now, where has my deer been? Sitting in a freezer for 3 months? Sucks because I used to love this place, but after this experience I dont think I will be a returning customer.

We've been taking our venison here for over 25 years. They always do a fantastic job. I take their sausage and sticks to family gatherings all the time and it never lasts long. WRM is almost an hour out of the way now (each way), but there's nowhere else we want to go. Highly recommended!

This is my go to meat supplier when buying for myself or others that are deployed. I can't tell you how awesome it is to receive packages of the best brats, bacon, and smoked snacks while you're in the middle of a desert somewhere. I've had items take up to 3 weeks to reach my location, but have yet to have anything arrive spoiled or less than tasty. Keep making the best products around guys!

Okey, I am here to explain why I gave one star. It is not because of their service/product quality. It is because... Here you go...I went there for the first time (10/21/16) and purchased beef tongue for abt $113, believing that they charged me $ 1.99/lb which was clearly stated on a price list sheet of green paper. So I left the store happy. Next day (11/22/16) I returned to make another purchase for my friend who wanted some more beef tongue. So I was ready to pay n looked up the register. Then I noticed that the beef tongue was calculated at $3.99, instead of $1.99. Thus, I brought their attention to it. Luckily, the boss/manager/owner, John, was right there n solved the problem perfectly for this purchase, not the one from the previous day because I didn't have the receipt with me. In the very next day, 10/23/2016, friend of mine went back to the store with the receipt for me cuz I left the town already. My friend got the problem solved for my first purchase with little difficulty. So the difficulty was when my friend was there on 10/23/16, John got upset yelling at my friend who is his loyal customer of about 4 yrs n a woman and even said, " NEVER COME BACK n leave "MY PROPERTY" in 2 minutes if not, I am going to call police!" Whatever, who in their right mind would come back to do business this rude/threatening/bully man. So after all these experiences, I wanted to say, " The service/quality of product was EXCELLENT but John should not treat my friend or anyone that way who is your loyal customer n after all a woman. I would call it bullying; it is very rude of you, sir!!!" After all, ONE, this is country of free; no one should be threatened for doing nothing wrong. TWO, customer is THE KING. As a consequence of your action/choice, you lost a loyal customer ( you would never know how many you've lost behind her). How much "market" do you have for your beef tongue in that small town populated majority of white peopple whose main diet is BEEF n POTATOES, not beef tongue. Anyways, hope we've all learned something from this n reflect on our choices we make everyday. So why I gave one star. Good luck to your business, John!!!

Bought a smoked turkey leg at a TA trucks top and it was awesome. Would have never thought it would that good considering it was at a truck stop. But, I took the recommendation of the store clerk. The packaging was great with all the meats so I had to ask the clerk. Please put your products in all the truck stops.

Got my deer processed here, the service was decent and fast, burger and sticks were good. They acted annoyed when I asked for 1 lb burger packs, instead of 2. Then every single pack of steak came in about a 2.5 lb big slab of poorly cut steaks with a bone right in the middle. Maybe big family’s might want that, but everywhere I have ever gone has done much better cut 1lb steak packs.

I've ordered online from these folks many times - they're amazing! Whenever I need to send someone a gift, this is what they get and, wow, are they happy! So much more appreciated than flowers, fruit, etc. They're prompt, very responsive to any questions, Maybe it's just me, but I'd appreciate a couple pounds of fresh brats, jerky ,etc. than 4 pears and some little samples of mustard, cheese, and jelly in a basket with fake grass!

Horibale John, I brought my bow kill in last Thursday with the head removed no $20 fee and today (3rd. Day of gun season) I bring my wife's deer in again (head removed at home) and you tell me that there's a$20 charge because the heads removed claiming that it's more work with the head removed by the customer, come on John anybody who knows anything knows that the guy doesn't have to stop the winch to grab the bone saw and cut the neck bone actually it's less work but your dishonest and say it's more work and charge a$20 fee for a head that's already been by the . customer. And in the end you started to me that the hide value went down this year and is the reason for the fee shame on you John if that is the case than raise your prices don't charge for something your not doing after bringing in multipal deer every year for over 20yrs. You got my last one and seeing how I live localy I will do my best to discourage as many of my friends as possible from patriotnizing your business

We enjoy getting the family pack for our family of five. The meat is if good quality and is delicious. We Love going to here! Affordable and a friendly staff! There are also some smoked bones by the register as you check out. My dogs LOVE them! They are cheaper than any pet store I've been to and are very hearty. I can not say enough good things about this place!

This is the place to go for artisan quality charcuterie including the famous cheese curds as well as their homemade Lands jaeger. They have a great website which attracted me to this place before I even visited as a tourist. Now I thought the prices for the homemade sausages we're pretty intense and over priced, but after visiting their operation and tasting the spices and the natural processes that they use to make their product I believe it's the most Superior type of sausage meat in the area. Now they're many places that say they have good product but if you want elk venison or are interested in an old fashioned sausage this is the place to go in person. Pro tip - they sell their factory seconds and tips of their meat sticks they're often 40 to 50% off regular pricing the flavor is intense and it's a good way to get artisan meat and throw it in your kid's lunch box.

Wow, we are thrilled with the customer service! They do so much for their community and the military! We have used them for years when processing our deer. We love that all of the prices and fees are included on their Deer Guide (I have permission to post the guide!). We know just what we are going to be charged for everything; whole or headless deer even caping out for mounts. They advertise the prices and items very clearly and the flyers are all over the store! John even showed us the process for normal skinning and why it is so much more labor intensive if we bring them in headless. It much faster for them to skin them hanging by the head rather than skinning a legless, headless deer on the ground. And just think, hunters brought in well over 600 deer to these guys opening weekend! That extra work would sure adds up to a lot of sore backs and extra time. The best part is they have not raised their venison processing prices in years!!! Sounds like the other guy got a freebie! I would be happy with that mistake and grateful they honor their mistakes and did not ask for the fee at a later time.

Had my deer processed here it was very expensive. I dropped my deer off at the beginning of November and it took 3 weeks to get it. (They called me the 2 days before the opening of gun season, and wanted me to get it ASAP.) I had nothing special done, steaks, roasts, and the trim ground. All of the steaks and roasts had been cut with a saw. Everything was wrapped in paper including the ground. For what you spend I would have expected at least the roasts and steaks to have been shrink-wrapped. Every cut had to be re-cut just to eat it. I expect some trim work on pieces before you cook them but this is ridiculous. Had to remove sinew and fat, I even found one of the sweet glands still in the meat. A chimp would have done a cleaner and more professional job. I cannot recommend this meat processor to any hunter out there!
