We just spent a hundred bucks for meat and spices to make beef jerky . A very clean meat market . Service was good . We bought 6 lbs of top round roast and had the butcher cut it for beef jerky we will make . We bought the spices for jerky , which had good ingredients less salt and no sugar. We are curing the meat and will dehydrate it tomorrow . We also bought two rib eye steaks , which we grilled , the cook being an owner of a resort in the past and is a very good cook . The worst cut of meat ever . The taste was good , the meat very very tuff . I cut mine in little chunks to maybe use for soup . Hopefully our meat that is curing will be better when made into beef jerky . It looked beautiful . We will see .

I had been on the road almost a year. I stopped in and bought Over 200$ worth of meat. It's hard to find, good markets. We made it back to Oklahoma, where my family also enjoyed. I would drive all the way just to purchase again.

Recently Bought a Side of Beef from them. Absolutely the worst butcher job I have ever seen. I could have done a better job with an axe. Hardly got any steaks out of the deal ( almost all burger?...) and the steaks we got are razor thin and all balled up... The meat itself seems fine- just very poorly done.

I've been here a few times over the last few years, always had a great experience, today i stopped in for some porterhouses , inch and a half thick, had em marinated too. I should have taken pictures of them. They were simply amazing, everyone loved them. Probably the best steaks I've had. If you haven't had a Swanks porterhouse you need to treat yourself

Recently picked up Gyro meat and I was very satisfied with the quality of meat. I did not have any issues with customer service. The lady I had met acted in a very professional way. I would recommend this butcher shop to all who are looking for an excellent job to be done.

Look I'm a sheep farmer and have my lambs processed there. For years Mike has showed up and helped me load them up. He's always on time and works well with my customers. For those who have posted negative customer service feedback. Spend some time in the back and witness what it takes to convert live animals into a safe and appetizing meal.

Very disappointed from start to finish. I just picked up my venison sausage order today and not only did they completely screw up the order it took 20 minutes of arguing with the butcher to hardly get so much as an apology. Also when I dropped off my meat the women filling out my order was rude and also failed to mention anything about the additional charges for cheese added to a part of my order. So to my surprise not only was the order wrote up wrong (that's who the butcher put the blame on anyways ) there was also a additional $30 on my bill. Very poor customer service from beginning to end. I would not recommend Swanks for any deer processing what so ever. I will never be going there again nor would i recommend them to anyone.

I've never purchased anything from here before. This review is strictly on deer processing. Several years ago I brought a couple deer here to be processed. What I received was venison with deer hair on it. Very unhappy with the lack of care they showed. I've had people tell me that the venison you get might not be from the deer you bring in. I don't have proof of that, however, if it's true that is just sad. I don't know what condition the deer were in that other people brought.

Great meat, great service! The staff here make you feel like old friends when you walk in the door. I usually stop in for steaks for dinner and you can always tell the difference in the quality when it's from Swanks. We also got their pulled pork for our daughters graduation party. We picked it up already ready in the cooker. Just plugged it in for a couple hours and it was ready to serve. It made thing so much easier for me on such a busy day.
