I feel like the prices are to high for a small market, plus the lady at the cashier desk have this pad touch that she have to put the price in then charge !! And some people can see your pin that’s kinda strange!! The lady got a thing for Colored people also me and my friend came in there to get some stuff !! And she was look at us every sec!!! Which kinda rude and scary!! Yes my friend is colored and I’m mix ! So why look at like we victims!! It’s ok if you live close but just for some I felt disrespected

We went today for the first time. We are from the Philadelphia area and have been looking for a good butcher. We bought severall items today, and if they are as good as the t-bone steaks we had for dinner, on the grill, they just earned a family of new customers. I found my forever butcher. Well, I recently found myself "between butchers." Any foodie carnivore will tell you it's an uncomfortable position to be in. For years people told me to try Knoche's meat so I finally did. In my opinion, the combination of quality and price can't be touched by any butcher in Dane County. After two trips I have purchased and loved their ribeye, filet mignon, hamburger patties and pork loin. And don't forget the deli case. They have accomplished the rare feat of having equally amazing potato salad and coleslaw. Give Knoche's a try.

Excellent and unassuming local butcher and grocery. This is the kind of place you really hope stays afloat in the wake of Whole Foods and Metcalf's. For cuts, I recommend their NY Strips and Filet Mignons. Try the cheese brats! They mainly stick to the basics and don't offer many exotic cuts; go to Conscious Carnvivore if you're looking for Bavettes and Coulottes!

This place has the best meat and meat selection in the area! They also supply all the great burger joints and steakhouses in the area. I can't say that their grocery section is great as the prices are pretty high and theirs not much selection; but thats not the reason you come here. You come here for meat!
