This Butcher Shop is classified in the category of Steak house.
Tasty but expensive. Burger wasn't on the menu, but they still made it. Large and juicy.
Amazing. The rib eye steak was amazing. My wife had the Salmon and it was great. Everything was full of flavor. Service was excellent. We had a great table to start our meal but the staff offered us an even better booth before our meal came. Couldn't have been happier.
Very nice pepper crusted steak. Must try their beef steak fries.
A wonderful experience with great service
Great meat selection, make sure to order apps with your steak. Don't forget to get he bone marrow and the corn. Those were the best sides
Great meat, amazing sides, huge wine list and good dessert. Great service and good ambience. The portions tends to be small and the price high on meat plates. I enjoyed it but probably won't repeat as you are aiming well above $100 per person if you go for meat.
This high end steak house delivers. We came here about three months ago as of this writing. We made same day reservations on a Tuesday night although not necessary it is recommended. The restaurant is located in downtown Seattle. The black painted brick walls and contemporary front windows makes this place feel modern yet classic. The rustic environment on the inside combined with the large space does not make you feel overwhelmed but welcoming. Upon greeting we were guided down some stairs into a decent size cellar style dining area. Low lighting ambiance along with soft music in the background makes you feel like you are in a romantic movie. The experience that the Butcher's Table provides is definitely something you are also paying for. Darren was the professional that helped us. Very knowledgeable on EVERY item on the menu. Ok so when it comes the the steak they provide three tiers of quality. Obviously the third tier being the most expensive. Look of you are going to enjoy a high end steak house you might as well go all out. No point of being cheap. With that being said my girlfriend ordered the third tier fillet mignon waygu angus mix which was priced at approximately $97 I ordered the third tier rib eye option which was approximately $75. We also ordered the mac and cheese which is made with the local cheese from the near pike market along with the potatoes. Darren kept us updated on the process of the dinner preparation. At one point he told us that the steaks were ready but they were resting before serving. It made me feel like I was about to meet someone special. Once the food arrived the side portions were a really good size. The steaks were on the small size but it was to be expected. TRUST me it is plenty of food. The steak literally dissolved in my mouth. Never have I tasted such quality. I can never look at steaks the same way. Which kind of sucks. I had three bottles of IPA and my girlfriend had three glasses of wine. The check came out to be approximately $350 tip included. As I mentioned, it is not a price conservative restaurant but it is WORTH IT. I am sure there are more expensive places out there with less quality. If you are in the Seattle area I suggest you try the Butcher's Table #TheButchersTable #TheButcher'sTable. For out of towners it was more expensive than I really expected! But service was great and food was excellent!
This is 5 star. It's incredible. Everything is delicious.
great atmosphere, good food, rad service
I had a ground beef burger, the best of all burgers i have had. It was topped with melted cheese, caramalized onion and pickles. The meat was damn soft, juicy and yummy.
The fellas and I had our monthly scotch & steak night here recently. We booked a private room and had a fantastic time. The service was prompt, food delicious, and their scotch was on point. The owner even came by to say hi. It was a memorable night. A fun place!
I was really looking forward to going to butchers table, but I left very disappointed. The waitress was nice, but the service was super slow. I sat waiting at my table for about 10 minutes before being greeted by a server. I ordered a salad first because they said the steaks take 30 minutes to come out, but the salad came right AFTER the steak came. There is also no option to get bread before your meal. All steaks are only 8oz which is disappointing considering nearly all of them are $70+. It’s not worth the money.
Way over priced for me. I love steak but it wasn't worth the price. Texas Roadhouse is better for me. Sorry I have no problem giving a good review if it's worth the money. Service was very good.
What a great place! The steak was amazing! The atmosphere and service is top notch. The food is delicious and there's a wide range of drinks. I ordered the steak which was prepared to perfection. I would love to have ordered another, but don't know if I could have finished it. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.
Hundreds of restaurants to choose from? CHOOSE THIS ONE! Never had a better steak. We did the steak flight and a few apps and sides. Everything was perfect! It is very cool to eat with the 50 billion dollar man in the next room! Yes this place IS close to Amazon WHQ.
The quality was good, quantity was bad, and the price was totally NOT worth it. Not saying its a horrible place to go to, but youd be paying too much for the small amount of food you get.
Excellent food combined with high quality service. Known and celebrated for their amazing steak flights, extensive drink selection and great decor and you have a great place to eat and enjoy the company of others while you're in Seattle. Highly recommended.
Had an absolutely amazing dinner last night. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was out of this world good. From the oyster starter to the 5star steak flight everything was just about perfect. I cant wait to go back.
Classy place, great cuts of meat, casual-chic atmosphere and a super friendly staff. You can choose downstairs if you are looking for a more formal dining experience, or upstairs if you want it a little more casual (but not too loose). They have live music upstairs, also. The full bar offers awesome specialty cocktails. If you go, get the "flight", where you sample three different grades of beef. Cooked perfectly with more than enough to fill up a bear. A+
Pricey steak, did not taste good and baked potato was not good either. Quantity was less too. Daniels broiler beats this restaurant hands down!
Went here for lunch and got the French onion *stew*. Yes, stew. It had delicious chunks of beef in it! The perfect lunch option when you want to take advantage of the awesome meat as well as the beechers cheese this place is know for! Another reason this is a stew not soup is because it’s thick, like oatmeal thick. It was the perfect portion size for a main and left me an extremely happy camper! Definitely want to go back for a special occasion or maybe happy hour.
Great service n great food, will be back!
Awesome meat lovers dinner. The levels of care in beef here are excellent, with their own butcher and 5 grades of availability. Whenever I can get bone marrow I jump and their smoked pair were sublime. I have to say the Rainier cherry salad was such a standout I took notes to make it. The "man of the woods" flash fried mushrooms was heaven. And since this place is owned by Kurt D., the cheese based stuff is rockin'. Capped with homemade donuts and coffee... and smiles
I grabbed lunch here one day in the week. It wasn't overly busy, but I had to squeeze onto the end of the table my co-workers were on because I was an unexpected extra person. The staff handled it just fine. When the table beside us became free they combined it with our party and made it more comfortable. The food was well-presented, and very tasty. I had a steak sandwich with soup, and would definitely recommend it. The restaurant itself is really nice to look around. The decor is high quality. You can look into the kitchen through a window that keeps out the noise.
Had an amazing experience at The Butcher's Table. Came with a party of nine and had dinner in the banquet room. Taylor did a great job explaining the different menu option available as well as the add-ons available with the entrees. Most importantly the food was amazing :). I had the Zabuton with the marrow and it was perfectly seared and the meat melted in your mouth.
One of the best steaks anywhere in the world! Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend.
felt over priced for what we got. I like a smoky flavor but my food just felt overpowered by it. Service was ok, nothing special. So a little disappointed with the experience, might try again some other time.
The sides at hit or miss but the steak and service is good
Food 5 stars Serving Speed 2 stars, wait almost an hour Ambience 2 stars. With the high price you kind of expecting nice dining environment. But this place is way too load. And the music just gives you headache. May come back for the food. But definitely need to do reservations ahead so you won’t end up in the bar area.
Top 5 best steakes I've eaten in my life. The staff were informed and friendly . Jenifer made our dining experience extremely enjoyable. The live music upstairs was the icing on the cake.
I reserved a private room for a wedding party here. The food is very good. Is it worth the price? Not entirely in my opinion. But the service here is amazing. Every part of experience, from setting up the event, designing the menu, and waitstaff were incredibly professional. I highly recommend if you need a space for a formal event.
Smoked bone marrow, and hen of the woods. Simply Devine
We go here often and have never had a bad meal! Everything on the menu is great, especially the pork chop. Consistently a great experience!
Amazing food and fantastic service. Great cocktails and wine selection as well. Pricey but totally worth it for a special occasion (or if someone else is footing the bill). Splitting some steak flights was a great way to try all the different cuts and grades. Don't skip the beef fat fries, and the crab sauce for the steak is next level.
Will the bartender was great
We went here last night for our 25th anniversary. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this experience was. Bryce was our server and from the time we sat down until we left he attended to our every need. The steak was the best I have ever had, the ambience was everything but honestly the service put this restaurant as the best meal of our lives. So thankful to have spent our special day here!
This place was amazing! The best service I've ever had at a restaurant. But the food blew me away. They specialize in steak and it showed, by girlfriend got pork witch was also made to perfection. It is not cheat but well worth the money. If your looking for a fancy place to take your special someone look no further!
Incredible steak. Worth the price, especially when factoring service. We arrived just 20 mins before close, and a bartender made an effort to help us get food ordered into the kitchen before it closes. We had a lovely meal and really appreciated the extra effort. (I forget his name, but he had a shaved head and was newer. He’s excellent!)
High prices, good food, younger crowd. But, a bit lacking. The meat was tender and flavorfull, even though it did take a little longer than expected. Meat came in warm plates as opposed to hot ones. Medium well and medium rare came out very similar to each other. Fresh vegetables were great, but the mushrooms were a bit under done and bland. For the price (about 250.00 for 2 without drinks), I was expecting more, but overall, not a bad experience.
The cap of ribeye was amazingly flavorful and the sides we chose, the Mac & cheese, broccolini, and potatoes, were delicious. Service and ambiance were impeccable. The wine... Delicious.
Amazing food and excellent service.
Excellent food and service. I'll be happy to visit again!
Fantastic service. All our servers were well educated on the menu and wine list. Our servers name was Robert. I highly recommend this place. The quality of food was unlike any other I've experienced
If Jeff Bezos is paying, it's great. If you're taking a bumble date or your wife, $87 for an average 8 oz filet with no sides included is absolutely insane. It would have been an average steak at $40....
I had a fantastic time at The Butcher's Table. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was very friendly, and the food was amazing. I had the Eye of Rib Ultra, medium rare. The meat was so tender and rich. It's quite possibly the best 8 ounces of meat to ever grace my pallet. It was absolutely stunning.
Amazing food and superb customer service!
Best ribeye I've ever had in my life.
Great atmosphere & meal pretty good value
Absolutely worth the price, excellent steaks and absolutely awesome carrot cake.
Went with some of my coworkers for lunch, and had an outstanding burger with very good steak fries. Service was fast and pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. They also have what they call a butcher shop, but it doesn't carry anything but steaks. No beef heart, tongue or blood sausage, and seemed puzzled why anyone would want them and were unwilling to find out how to order them.
Overpriced! The marble on the meat is surprisingly subtle for what they call A5 wagyu.
Incredible experience and food. When we initially showed up, our table wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for a little while. It was frustrating knowing we had a team dinner planned and the delay would force us to push back plans for later in the evening. However, the staff more than made up for it. They put our group over in the butcher shop area and provided us with 2 bottles of champagne, and some appetizers while we waited. Once our table was ready, they again offered to cover 2 of our appetizers we ordered. It was above and beyond and appreciated. The steaks were the best I have had in my life. We ordered various versions of the Ultra level steaks, and it was well worth it. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The drinks were amazing as well. I had an expertly made Basil Haden Old Fashioned. I don’t come to Seattle often, but I now have a favorite restaurant and will make it point to come back here again and again.
Great food and great service. It is pricey but totally worth the price.
If you ever find yourself here over lunch time, make it a point to order their burger. In fact, make it a point to be there. At lunch time. They have a limited amount that they make each day, utilizing scraps from their steak cuts. It is. Amazing. I've had a few other things there and I will say, though their menu is small, it means they specialize in what they make. Their alcohol selection (particularly spirits and wine) is quite something to behold and has never disappointed.
We came here on a whim and spent $300. It was well worth it though. I remember seeing the meat lollipops on Facebook. We decided to try the ultra steak sampler that was 16 oz total. The restaurant split the dish for us and it was enough food along with two side dishes. We also ordered wine and cocktails which complimented the protein and vegetable dishes very well. I'll definitely come back in the future. It's a great place for work dinners and dates.
I had the 6 star ribeye and it was out of this world. Would return if I were ever in Seattle again.
Gnocchi was incredibly salty... Steak was not as good as expected
This tomahawk steak was literally the best thing I’ve ever had in my mouth! I have dreams about it. Now I am hungry writing this, great!! Eat at this place you won’t be disappointed.
Genuinely amazing experience starting with our server and the breakdown of the cuts. Food was out of the park incredible. I highly recommend having dinners and meetings here.
Went for a Thursday dinner with a group of 5 co-workers after seeing their steak flights advertised on social media. While the service was excellent and the attention to detail was surgical, the dishes took a little too long to make their way from the kitchen. The Beecher's mac & cheese and the bone marrow were phenomenal (eat it without the cheesy english muffin to absorb all of the flavors). I ordered the Ultra-grade fillet for dinner and though it was succulent and flavorful, I thought the seasoning crust was a little overpowering. Probably not worth the cost, to be honest.
Excellent food and top notch, friendly service makes this a place I will definitely come back to whenever I'm in Seattle!
I liked their cauliflower steak.. and loved to be company to steak lovers
After moving to Seattle 3 years ago, our favorite hobby is experiencing the fine dining options in this city with an abundance of options. Although there are many fantastic choices that we love, there is no better dining experience than The Butcher's Table. The ambiance, attention to detail, service from the entire staff, and absolutely delectable food is above all the rest. Our favorites are the local fresh oysters, the yellow tail appetizer and the crab gnocchi but everything on the menu is a culinary treat. When we splurge for dessert, the Pasilla Pepper Donuts are to die for. This place is seriously the best around and our favorite in Seattle.
The steak sandwich is a great option for lunch.
The restaurant also hosts a deli/meat store front. Service was awesome! The bartender actted as our server as it was early afternoon. A great place for a more dressed up evening. Their basil lime cocktail on the happy hour is superb!
Was a great steak. Parts of the rib eye were kinda chewy but that's expected closer to where the bone was. I've also had the file steak flight here before and that was a great experience as well.
It was good. The steak was amazing but we won't return. We would rather go to Capital Grill for a special dinner and get more for our dollar amount.
Great atmosphere. Sat at the bar downstairs for drinks. The bartenders were absolutely amazing! Very accommodating and genuine. Tried the bone marrow which came out 30mins after ordering. Interesting take on the original bone marrow, the roe made it extra salty.
Alexa was an absolute GEM!!! Was the food exceptional, yes. Was the wine sublime, yes. But I can undoubtedly say that without Alexa, the experience would have not been one to remember. She will be why I come back here again and again!
Excellent steak and meat Quality. Good wines. Extraordinary service. It's pricey but for the quality you get it's worth every penny.
Everything was superb. Awesome food awesome service, family friend. And my taste buds out of this world, I loved it.
Amazing cuts of meat. An awesome experience.
An amazing experience. My steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was so friendly and kind.
Good food and service at top end prices
Fantastic meal. Great service. Some of the best steaks I’ve ever tasted. Loved the idea of a “flight of streaks.” I have never seen that offered before, but definitely worth it. Wonderful night for a birthday dinner.
Nice staffs and good food. Personally the food was a bit salty for my taste but had good flavors. Maybe a bit on the expensive side.
Excellent team dinner. Food was top notch. Waiter was excellent and all had a good time.
The best steak I have ever tasted.
Steak was on the right temperature. However, the char on the outside was way too much and the burnt taste was overpowering the steak's flavor (and I ordered medium rare).
Some amazing steak, wagyu beef flights got my mouth watering just thinking about it, so tender, great run and cooked to perfection. The fries and salads are also delicious, but that steak...
Great drinks and service
Went for dinner and our high expectations were absolutely exceeded. We went looking for a good meal and ended up having an amazing evening. Our server Darrin was phenomenal. Excellent recommendations all the way from wine, to appetizers, dinner and dessert. The steak and scallops were absolutely PERFECT and the mac-and-cheese was delightful. Every bite of our meal was heaven, but as I mentioned, the service made it more than just a meal, it was a fabulous experience.
I'm not a red meat eater, so probably not the most qualified to rate this locale. The food and drinks I have had were all very good though. On my last visit, I had the chicory caesar with chicken and would definitely recommend (but you need to like sardines).
Best steak I've ever and might will ever have.
Wagyu A5 steak, overpowering rosemary seasoning, the texture is beyond disappointing. The outside is so burnt that’s it’s charcoaled, while the inside is definitely rare. But I ordered medium rare. Easily taken back recooked but not impressed. Still crazy chewy. Honestly anyone can make better steak at home, than this. If the wagyu A5 in Japan is a 10, this is a 0.5... One star is for the friendly service. Otherwise, zero please! Outrageously overpriced for the taste.
Looks tiny from the outside. But roomy when inside. Building used to be a Garage before renovation. Good Food
I didn't have dinner here but went for drinks. Comfy bar work great drinks and decent happy hour food. Perfect place top stop after work with friends.
Set the Mood!! Very good service, and delicious food, our waiter "Walter" gave us just the right attn. was Professional and friendly
Steak flights were good, but not did not justify the $150 price.
Wow, probably best food in town maybe a bit overpriced
Hands down, best filet mignon I've ever had. Who gave them the right to make a steak THAT good? It was disgustingly delicious. If you ever have the opportunity and means to splurge on a phenomenal steak dinner, this is the place to go. I had a pretty decent steak at the Metropolitan a few years back, but this one was superior by far. Three words: Beef. Fat. Fries. Need I say more? Even the side dish had insane amounts of flavor. The drinks were great and don't even get me started on the donuts and ice cream for dessert. (Which, by the way, was complimentary when wet old our waitress we were celebrating 9 years together) the service was amazing, and our waitress was the sweetest southern gal. Couldn't have had a better experience! We'll definitely be back again!
It's the best steak I've ever had. Do you need more? The mushrooms were delicious. The brussel sprouts were delicious. The fries were so good that I needed more. They're not regular fries, they're next level. But the steak... amazing. You will probably never get better steak.
Unbelievable steaks. My favorite is the Flatiron. Great sides, too, and good live music on the regular.
On the pricey side. But great ambiance and the beef fat fries were amazing.
Perfect tomahawk steak (like butter), amazing cow far fries, fantastic drinks, and delightful staff. Came with some coworkers, and now I have to bring my wife to experience!
Sub-par dining experience for the money. Food was VERY salty, both soup and steaks. The 16 ounce steak flight was uneven in quality, and not cooked quite to the level we requested. The filet was excellent but other cuts were mediocre at best. Service was lackluster and a little pretentious. I was excited to eat here based on the menus and reviews, but I would not return.
I have not eaten at the Butcher's Table for dinner but I have had a few lunches and a happy hour or two. First, the service is outstanding. On every occasion, the wait staff has been almost over-the-top attentive. Drop a fork and you'll have a new one before it hits the floor. They know the menu well and are able to give meaningful recommendations. As far as the food, what I've had has always been great. The not-so-secret off menu burger is a standout for lunch - moist and incredibly flavorful. I've yet to try a steak but I'm looking forward to it. The prices aren't cheap but this place is worth it.
The food was decent, the facility was clean, and the staff was friendly.
Honestly didn't enjoy my steak very much. Flavor was ok but not with the price
While staying at a hotel nearby, we stopped by here for afternoon drinks, so I can't comment on the food. The atmosphere, decor, service, and drinks were wonderful though.
Limited menu focused on high end beef. Excellent service. Highly recommend
Great service, amazing steak!
Haven't had many steaks that are better than the ones here. The house sauce is a must try and goes with just about most of the cuts they offer.
Food, drinks and ambience all are good here except the price! We loved the Seattle Sazerac here. Its so good. They have a good variety of beers too. Really liked the Raineer. Foodwise we have tried crab and pork which were very good
Food was costly, but worth it. Really great steaks really great entrees really great appetizers, great selection of drinks and a really fun atmosphere. Great place to go with friends or colleagues!
The flight was divine. The Mac n cheese great, we should have got 2 orders for the table.
The Butchers Table uses their own grading since it's the same company that raises the cattle, so common expectations of grades do not carry over. Further their hybrid cattle breed is absolutely not the same as A5 from Japan, and it's not the same as American kuroge. Just think of their steaks as Angus priced like A5. The beef fat fries are however excellent and not oversold like their meat.
This place is very interesting and unique. I highly recommend the filet. It was incredible. Really a nice place to spend time if you are from out of town. It is in a great location and people are nice that work here. The bar is a nice place to eat.
I've only sat in the bar area but service was great, bar and dinner menu have not disappointed, and the wine selection is awesome. From a design standpoint this space is lovely. One of my favorite features is the staircase, with leather and stitching on the rails. It's the little touches that make all the difference!
Really classy place, great for groups. Happy hour brings good deal pricing at the upstairs bar during traditional hours. They have a coat/umbrella check service which is free. Recommend reservations because this is a popular place. The downstairs is less noisy compared to the ground floor, if you will want a quieter conversation.
Most amazing streak choices I've ever seen. It's expensive, but great for a special night out. Great service, terrific wine list.
A great dining experience, in the story behind how they Source their meat is interesting as well. They actually Source their own cows for the food that they serve in their restaurant. This means that quality control actually happens from Farm to Table. You can't go wrong with any cut of meat here, it will be very tasty in perfectly prepared. Treat yourself
High marks for beautifully prepared steaks, excellent cocktails, and friendly, knowledgeable service. Yet somehow, when you’re paying almost $400 for a dinner for two, you expect more. The lounge area where we sat was busy (in a bustling, pleasant way) and our server was clearly over-stretched . A side order of of mushrooms was either ill-conceived or ill-executed, I’m not sure which, but they were dry and almost inedible. Plus my wife and I were placed at a 4-top – OK, it gave us extra room for menus, etc., but it felt odd and not exactly consistent with a restaurant of this price tag. It’s a one-time visit for us.
Cool atmosphere with overpriced food that wasn't really that special. I love spicy food but the tacos were so spicy, I couldn't even enjoy the flavor or the experience of eating them. The mac and cheese was very ordinary, the noodles were slightly over cooked and flavor a bit bland. Perhaps I ordered poorly but not sure if I'd return to find out.
Hands down, best filet mignon I've ever had. Who gave them the right to make a steak THAT good? It was disgustingly delicious. If you ever have the opportunity and means to splurge on a phenomenal steak dinner, this is the place to go. Went here for an annual company dinner. Absolutely an amazing experience. From.drinks through to desert, everything was top notch. The cocktails were surprisingly good, the appetizers were beyond this world and the steak were to die for. The service couldn't have been better anywhere. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Excellent food, great service.
Excellent steaks and wine list.
The best steak. Knowledgeable wait staff that happily provides extensive details and insight on meals, meats, and means... I was fortunate to have someone helping out that had the patience of a saint as I pondered orders each time I visited. I know that this is small, but an important detail - the water was filled constantly throughout the meal on every visit. And again, the steak is out of this world... Fantastic.
Amazing!!! From our arrival to our departure, the staff was on point! We made reservations one week in advance and were greeted at the door with friendly smiles and attentive hosts. Our waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu from top to bottom. We left everything in his hands as far as our food and drink choices went. I love this place and recommend you try the experience at least once! Our steaks were flawless as far as we are concerned and our desert topped everything off! 5 stars in my book all day long!
The steak was impressive. However the service was a bit too slow. We waited for more than 40 minutes till our food was brought to our table. So I won't recommend this place if you were in hurry. The server and the receptionist were very kind and helpful though.
New York steak was cooked perfectly. Definitely on my short list of must visit spots when I come into town.
Our server, Alexa, was a doll! The mac & cheese...yummie. Those beef
It was great to taste difference of beef grade.
Great steak house located in the Westlake area. Service was phenomenal as our server would always check in on how we were doing and would also take the time to explain items on the menu. The food was delicious but portions weren't too great for what it cost. The ambiance felt quite comfortable and not too formal, which was something I enjoyed. Overall, this is a solid restraunt but a little pricey.
Great food and service. Nice quality steaks cooked to perfection
Pricey but top quality beef
Their happy hour is great! The tuna tostadas, brussel sprouts and steak tartare were wonderful
My girlfriend and I go to all of the restaurants. Tonight we ate here and had Russel as our waiter. He was likely the best waiter I have ever had and will return here because of it. Place was great. Spacious but intimate. Definitely recommend!
SEATTLE, WA....This restaurant was suggested by our hotel Concierge. What a big thank you. Was within walking distance of our hotel, extra plus with the busy traffic. Start to finish everything was perfect. The food was to die for....no kidding! Staff, waiters, buspeople were there to make your experience exceptional. And that's what we had, exceptional experience in dinning. Celebrating our Anniversary that night as well. Something we will cherish forever. Bravo and Kudos abound!
If you love your steak this is one of the best in Seattle. I have loved every dish I have been served. The one time I ever had an issue that went above and beyond my expectations to fix. Great service, fantastic food, and a wonderful place to spend an evening.
I had grilled chicken with mushrooms. Chicken was cooked medium rare even I asked waiters well done .
Great « meat restaurant » that serves solid steaks. The fishes are well made if a bit overpriced for what it is worth. I went to the Butchers table a few times but was never quite satisfied with the seating that is either uncomfortable or in a dark corner.
The steak and beef fries were delicious! Our server was friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The reason for 4 stars is because we waited a long time for our food. When we placed our order the restaurant was half empty. Not sure why it took more than 20 minutes to get our lunch.
Steak so good it melts in your mouth, and incredibly friendly knowledgable and charming staff! ♡
Very impressive steak flights.
Flavorful and tender steak. Well seasoned. No steak sauce needed. Everything that we ordered was good.
Fantastic dinner and selection. Had the 16oz taster steak to share and it was fantastic. On the higher price side but well worth it if you are looking for a high end traditional steakhouse.
Best burgers I've ever had in my life
Excellent place. The service was 1st rate. I went with a group from work that was about 20 people in size. The service was great. Our waitperson was very attentive, kept the water glasses filled and knew everything about the menu. She was obviously very experienced and added to a great evening. The food was good. It was served family-style for a large crowd like ours. We had the pork chop the steak which was a bone in rib-eye, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts. Prior to the meal there were several appetizers, an assortment of red and white wines and a couple of salads. For the vegetarians there was a cauliflower steak entree with a beet hummus that was good even for the non vegetarian. It was a good good evening. I really enjoyed it and will be back.
I've had better meat, but the Butcher's Table is a solid spot for a steak and nibbles, and stands out in the generic landscape that is South lake Union. If you go, order one of the meat tasting platters, some beef fat fries and whatever green you think will balance things out. Do not skip the beef fat fries. Room is nice and a few times when we've been they've had someone singing and playing guitar in the corner, which is a nice touch.
Great atmosphere! If you like amazing food, drinks, service, then this is your place! This is true farm to table in an hot spot!
Great food and drinks. Hit the happy hour for lower prices, and get the beef fat fries for sure.
Best steak in Seattle. Go for the flights first - yes, a steak flight! - then next time get the one you loved the most.
Excellent steak, but thought the gnocchi would be better. Great service!
The best steak I've ever had and truly exceptional service. The place has a great speakeasy vibe downstairs with it's unique aesthetic.
Had the off-menu special lunch burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The service was top notch.
Service was SLOW. Ordered our food quickly and it took over an hour to come out. Husband's steak was not cooked as ordered. We ordered broccoli and cauliflower for the sides and honestly neither were good, maybe we just ordered the wrong ones. However, my steak was cooked correctly and did taste amazing. $70 per filet for the "lowest grade" they offer for steak alone was very overpriced. We could have gone to Ruth's Chris and gotten the same meal for a lot less money and better/more food.
Lunch is lackluster and limited in options but the dinner is the absolute best I've had this year. The steak flights give a truly wonderful way to sample and compare different grades of beef.
Just got a couple drinks and apps. The apps were amazing, definitely want to go back.
Best steaks my wife and I will have. It may cost a great deal but you won't be disappointed with flavor and quality.
As a vegetarian I am hard to please at a steak restaurant. However, I absolutely loved my meal at the Butcher’s Table. I had the cauliflower steak with a beet hummus which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Macaceoni and cheese and broccolini. Delicious!!!
The staff and atmosphere are amazing. Cocktails are really good. I really enjoy the Beecher's macaroni and cheese and brioche starters. This would be a 5 star restaurant if they would deliver the quality of steak I expect from a restaurant at this price point that is supposed to be top-tier. I can prep a prime cut steak at home and get a better result than the best I've had from this restaurant (at a small fraction of the price). Honestly, I dont care about the price much. I come here for the atmosphere and the good company. If that's your expectation, then you should be happy.
Meat is smoked and heavily spiced. Wasn't clear in tbe long menu recitation. Service veered from too present to long stretches of absence. There are better steak houses in Seattle.
Went to this place for a friend’s birthday. Everything over here was really great. The service was very professional and courteous. The hostess came to our table and explained each cut of meat in great detail and answered all our questions. I got the lowest marbling New York strip while my friends tried the steak with a little more marbling. The steak was simple but flavorful and was seasoned very well. The sides of mushrooms and Mac and cheese were also very tasty as was the dessert.
The food is delicious and prepared to.perfection , service needs some improvement.
We had a party of 4 with reservations at 8:30pm. We had to wave down our server for each drink, to order food, to order more drinks, and then to pay our bill. We didn’t leave until 11pm...with a party of four. The food was great but the service was so poor on a night that was very quiet I don’t think myself or the party I was with will return.
