Horrible customer service, random order they pick you if they feel like it. You have to order everything off of a piece of paper or the whiteboard. Most of what I wanted they didn’t have, but it’s on the board and online. So they told me I should have ordered in advance. Okay so you have a list of products you supposed to offer but don’t offer. They don’t greet you, she says “what am I getting for you.” As if she hates what she does or doesn’t like you. (Like people at McDonald’s) I’m reading the board and the the guy that works there has to put his hands on me to push me so he can get though the crowded with 5 people waiting room. Worst experience at a butcher. Small small place not worth the drive. They probably have decent meats but being here gives me a bad taste in my mouth. Central Market is the place I go for my meat.

Seriously? Aloof & arrogant attitude instead of kind customer service ~ I'm guessing their regulars that pack the inconveniently small office think it's cute. They are the ones that get the attention, not the newbies that need serious specific questions answered. The cute older folks on their website aren't there. The guy in the back was filthy and wasn't wearing an apron or anything. The only meats in their small glass displays are hams, pepperoni and bacon, everything is by order from the back, so there is no viewing or choices ~ it's seriously just an office, not a butcher market place. They have no special cuts or animal variety, therefore had nothing but the usual cuts of meat, so I ordered steaks to check 'em out. They were overpriced, nothing special and the fat wasn't trimmed, could have gotten these anywhere, a lot cheaper ~ and the scale weight is hidden from sight, so you don't even know what your really paying for, just a total. I love Owen's Meats in Cle Elum, superior by far in everyway; kind considerate customer service, lots of staff on hand to handle the crowds of people, large displays, lots of choices!

My favorite place in the whole world to get my and jams and sauces! And 52 years old and my parents got their meat from Silvana Meats and so do I to this day :-) I live in Darrington and have to drive 35 to 40 miles to get there but it is so worth it!! Their breakfast link sausage is my very favorite.. taste the same as when I was a child and I love when people don't change their recipes that people love to begin with ! The cube steaks are my favorite dinner item for our household. burger taste so good that we make a lot of burger patties as Burgers steaks and eat with a side dish. The price is a little higher than at your local grocery store but you definitely get what you pay for ! PS they have many many things to choose from, GO check it out :-) :-) GO GO GO

The meat is amazing! Never been disappointed except the bacon but hubby loves it. The reason I don't give 5 stars is their customer service sucks. They are very rude people and do NOT make you feel welcome or comfortable. Every on of them has a bad attitude. We spend a lot of money there, you'd think they would appreciate our business.

I always get boneless rib eye steaks and they cut them to order to the thickness you choose. The meats are top quality and I've never been disappointed. I've compared their meats to Bill The Butcher in Redmond and The Golden Steer in Bellevue and the quality of the meat from Silvana Meats beats both hands down. Also, their peppered bacon is absolutely awesome. My wife doesn't like meat at all, but when I get their bacon, she'll eat that (it makes knockout BLTs). Finally, their little dry jagerwurst is quite good - although a little on the salty side - I always hunt for the heaviest package to make sure I have enough. Some time ago, I was told by one of the butchers that their meat all comes through the only slaughterhouse in WA, but the beef itself comes from down in Oregon and is all grass fed.

After wanting to try fresh meat for quite sometime, yesterday I took my daughter there, and decided to buy the #1 combination. They were friendly, and they had no problem explaining their packaging & pricing to me. After a very short wait (they said it would be approximately 15 minutes, but it seemed like about 7 minutes), They loaded my order into my car, and we had a short conversation about where they get their meats from. I got home and decided to cook a couple of my newly acquired 8oz steaks on my cast iron grill. The steaks cooked PERFECTLY!!! They had to have been some of the most tender steaks I have ever eaten!!!! I can't wait until I eat all of the meat I purchased, so I can go back & get some more!!!

I have found that this is about the only reliable place to get anything that would pass in my world as a real “steak”. (At least in this County). That said, there is so much more for a “meat eating savage” to relish....Corned Beef, Turkeys, Spiral Cut Honey Glazed Ham, Hot Links and a full array of Jerky and Pep Sticks. Great selection of spices and sauce as well, all gourmet and independent varieties. Notice to the “One Star Snowflakes” please Whole Foods and Central Market may be just your place or maybe go to Del Fox on Complaino Island or Whole Foods in the other “snobby” areas of Snohomish Count (Del fox is nice too). Maybe go back to California and do all of us in North County a favor. The people that went ahead of you likely called in more often than not. And describe your racist experience better. I would watch everyone with the setup they have. Trust me WHITE People shoplift as much and VERY LIKELY MORE. Many times more often than not shoplifters do it for sport. As for a greeting or lack there of, more often than not the shop is busy, as has been attested, don’t expect a red carpet, this is a small town family establishment. You should be happy to have the quality available in such a small establishment. No, it doesn’t have luxury seating or valet parking. It is what it is and I wouldn’t change a thing. Also, thanks to Silvana meats for supporting local youth farming endeavors!

I received a text message last night from my supplier, that the compressor was bad at Silvana Meats. I needed to pick up my order ASAP! I was out of town and it was a big inconvenience to drive a hundred miles back in the morning. Silvana Meats never called me, although after placing my order they had my phone number. What a nightmare! It slipped out from ok m them that the compressor had gone out 2 days prior not the day before. Yikes! No compensation for my efforts all they could say, " well my husband had to drive to Oregon to get a new compressor." That's part of being a business owner have a back up!!!

I've been going to silvana meats since 2004. ever since I came down from Alaska. I take my wild game meat to be processed by them every year. I haven't had any problems that couldn't be solved. the products are good, and the prices are fare. but the customer service sucks. that blond behind the counter has got to go! she is costing you business! the problem I was having. was I had to get my meat in to the processor. she wouldn't except my meat because the bone was still in. she told me why. with a snippy attitude. I said, I understand the rules. but what got me was. when I asked her for help. see if she could point me in the right direction. #1 she acted like she didn't know what I was asking her. I asked if she knew of any other shops near by. #2 she couldn't tell me of any other shops that she knew of. and she knows other butcher shops in the area. I didn't know any other shops. because I always went thru them. as I was walking out the door. I said " I guess ill have to figure this out "#3 she had to have the last word. "THATS YOUR PROBLEM" 10/06/2015 so that was the breaking point. from the reviews looks like I'm not the only one making the switch.

Very disappointing. Never buy their chicken it's horrible and tuff. Their beef is even worse they cut it right of the cattle the minute it's slathered so it is bloody and disgusting. The place is also very filthy.

I was told about this butcher, and I have to say that the quality of their cuts are optimal. I got a barbecue bundle, and everything in it was delicious. I always get a little pack of meat sticks when I go, and they are just the right amount of spicy. You can get a nice thick-cut T-bone just the thickness you like, and everything is so fresh. I have yet to try their sauces. The only thing I was not satisfied with were the tamales, as they were quite bland. In closing, I would definitely recommend any meat lover to this establishment.

The meat is awesome just like most butcher shops but there customer service sucks, its usually a heavy set blonde at the counter and she is just so rude to her customers, last time i was there she was giving an elderly lady a hard time. Silvana meats is always the best but today they were even better... they were out of whole chickens in my meatpack and said they would substitute some New York strips and sirloin that's fricking awesome, but when I got home in addition they added extra pork steaks and a wonderfully seasoned ham. They share no info about their meat on their website and I now see why. This is from an email they sent to me after asking if their beef was grass or grain fed and if grain-fed is it GMO free. This is their reply "our beef is grain finished with no hormones or antibiotics. As far as GMO free only 10% of united states is, most that say they are really are not." So GMO grain-fed. This is why their packaing is so basic and give so little info about their meat. If it was non-GMO, grss-fed they would proudly post that on their packaing. I will never buy from them again. I will find a better place to get my meat.

I have been a customer of Silvana Meats for 20 years. My first experience was with their butchering services at my ranch. They were great, professional, compassionate and very clean! I also have purchased all kinds of meat, fresh chicken & turkey, as well as many of their pepperoni & specialty meats hand made by them. They are a working butcher shop cutting fresh meat "ALL DAY LONG" this means you can have things cut & wrapped your way or help ordering fresh ground meats for pick up the day they are ground. They are not a fancy retail shop but basic with great products!

This place is pretty sweet. I have been here a couple of times and they always treat me with respect. I asked them for a couple of nice steaks for my friends and I to have a BBQ so they suggested the filet minion. I wrapped them in their peppered bacon and it was amazing. You definitely can order special cuts and they have a great variety. Unlike the comment below, I thought they were friendly and clean. I will definitely come back.

This place is a RIP OFF and they are NOT HONEST! We bought a 1/4 cow from a farm and Silvana Meats was supposed to hang it for 2 weeks or more and they didn't, they cut it up in just a couple of days. The meat is ruined, tough as nails, and so bloody we have to drain each cut of meat. I have bought many sides and quarters of beef before and if it is not hung for 2 weeks or more it is tough and bloody. I would never do business with them again, that's a little over $700 down the drain!!! I WILL NEVER USE THEM NOR CAN I RECOMMEND THEM, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! They did not age my beef, it was fresh kill and butcher up, horribly tough and EXTREMELY BLOODY!!!

Forget Safeway, Walmart or any other meat department. If You are not getting your meats from Sylvana Meats, you are really missing out! And even despite the occasional lousy service by the fat lady behind the counter, who is much too busy to be bothered by mere "customers", even after that, you will still walk away knowing that there is no better, higher quality meats in the whole of Snohomish County! Bar none! Nothing will keep me from coming back!

The quality of the meats is amazing. Once tasted you know it didn't come from Safeway. This was my first trip there so didn't know what to expect. For being out in the middle of nowhere the place was packed! Being so busy I can see why some people got all b%tt hurt about not being treated like the world revolved around them. The staff was courteous but fairly short without pleasantries. I understand why because they were working their tails off serving the crowd.

I have heard about the customer service not being friendly... Personally im not worried about it cause dealing with people all day can be daunting. I have had a few customer service issues but everytime i go in they are busy so i understand that trying to get all the orders and ringing everything up i dont blame them for a little lack in that department. The product that is available is AMAZING. Ive been a loyal customer of the meat candy store that is silvana for over 15 years. Never have i had an issue with the heavenly animal treats that are concocked in this grotesquely beautiful establishment. Its a pitcher of ice cold beer on a hot day! DO IT!
