I went there today and bought two lobster tails on the Valentine's Day special, however I forgot them at Mikes and drove back to my home in Ephrata. I called the store as soon as I noticed to confirm that I had left them, Rita (I believe) answered the phone and was so friendly! She called mike who gave me a call back and said I could either get a full refund or replacement lobsters next time I was in town. They went above and beyond what I expected and I am so thankful for the wonderful service. I will be going back there every time I stop into town!

Mike's Meats is my "go to" place for meat, Amish Butter and fresh cage-free eggs. I especially like the flank steak and the "ugly steak". The pre-formed bacon burger made with ground brisket is probably the best hamburger EVER.

After my wife and I received some organic lamb for a friend of ours, we realized that our two legs were only wrapped in a plastic bag. This wasn't the fault of our friend, but the butcher she uses. Having never needed butcher paper for anything before, I had no idea where to get it, so I called Mikes Meat at Pybus market to ask where I could purchase some. The guy I spoke with told me to drop by before they closed; they'd be happy to sell me some. When I arrived, I spoke with a nice gal who told me a couple places I should be able to find some, but then chose to give me a roll of their own that was mostly used up. I asked her what I owed her for it, but she declined the offer. A big thanks to all of you at Mike's Meats, you really helped me out!
