If you want to use the whole animal, don't use this butcher. They slaughter on-site and if you want the offal or hide from the beef, you have to make separate arrangements which coincide with the slaughter appt. Yes, they allow you to wrap your own and give you a price break, but i would rather have them be a FULL SERVICE butcher (as any good butcher would be, and has been in the past!) and pay full price. I was also not happy with some of the cuts (we got NO brisket from our side of beef... where did it go? into hamburger?) and in particular a couple of the "porterhouse" steaks looked NOTHING like a porterhouse, which requires a "T" bone with a large loin side and smaller NY strip side. Two of the steaks we got had bones all through them, yet were marked "Porterhouse". Having worked for a butcher for close to a year, wrapping and labeling cuts, this butcher is VERY sloppy. Beware.

I picked up beef today that I had ordered from someone else, and they were having Lind's Meats butcher it. They were friendly and helpful; they loaded all the meat into my coolers in the car without me having to even ask for help. I don't know why people would say they are rude-- they were very nice.

Rude on the phone and condisending, not the way to win my business. I'll finds someone local someone with some customer service skills. Good luck to you in all your endeavors. You will never get business from me.

I have been going to Linds for years and I have never been disappointed. I have taken several Elk and deer for processing and the end product is top rate. Mike and his employees are always friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend and do recommend Linds Meats to all my friends.

Today was my first visit to Lind's Custom Meats and the service was spectacular as I met Dwayne and Mike Lind who are very friendly that has earned my business. I lived near Lind's Custom Meats 13 years ago and have always passed by without thinking too much during my high school years, as of today I realized I have been missing out all these years. After my first visit picking up two brisket packers (37lbs) the friendly customer service has made Lind's Custom Meats as my Go To butcher.

My first deer and my first experience with a butcher shop. Linds did an excellent job with everything. I also had them turn 15 or so pounds into pepperoni and it was the best pepperoni I have ever had in my life. Everyone I gave some to let me know it was the best they've ever had too. My kids loved it. I was amazed. Everything else was excellent too and my family and I were very pleased with the service we received. My brother in law recommended Linds to me and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Linds

Lind's has butchered my animals for years. I have used another local butcher and was not happy with their product. Mike and his crew know what they are doing, and they do it well. He always makes sure it is as humane as possible and makes a clean shot on the animals so there is no suffering. This is extremely important to me.

I grew up on Lind's and went to school with the one of the Lind boys. I remember back in the day, wrapping meat with my parents (Irma and George). Very fond memories.. oh, just one thing, don't name your cattle. at age 10...not a good idea. :(

Our family has been coming here for over 30 years to have our venison and elk cut & wrapped. We are on our way over with a bull right now!

Mike Lind and his crew have awesome customer service skills. We have been using them for 2 years now and they have slaughtered, butchered, and wrapped more than 14 head of cattle for us in that 2 year period. All of our beef customers have been very happy with the job done by the Lind family business.

My family has been using Lind's services for decades. A family run shop with a family atmosphere. If you want to pay more for less, don't go here. Cut to order services, friendly people and low prices. Wrap your own to save more, and portion to suit your needs. Does a pretty good Elvis too!

Very RUDE People

They were friendly enough and when we picked up our meat they were nice enough. But our meat was cut and wrapped insufficiently. Isn't that what a butcher is supposed to specialize in, cutting and wrapping? Our cuts of pork are huge and every time I thaw something out the blood drips from the outside of the package. We have had others butchers process meat for us and this has never been an issue. I put a pork roast in the refrigerator to thaw with a plate under it last night and when I removed it this morning, I have to clean the refrigerator because of the blood. I'm so irritated that I want the world to know what a crappy job they did for us. Warning: Do not use them!

Katie Finney

We have found hair in several of our packages of meat. There are a lot of blood clot looking things in the ground pork. We have had cows butchered by another butcher in the past and we have never had these issues.

Chris Richards

My wife and I purchased a side of grass fed beef and a spring pig. Both are DISGUSTING. In general: 1. The butchering was done by a 5 year-old. The cuts were incorrect, sloppy and in sizes way too large for menu planning. 2. The fat and gristle left on the cuts was enough to ruin ones appetite even before you cooked it. 3. Whenever bone was cut, they left bone chips and marrow on the meat. Really? Are you that lazy and sloppy? 4. We understood and accepted that the grass fed beef would have somewhat of a "gamy" taste. That was literally a GROSS understatement. Our cow must have been raised near a sewage treatment plant. Mostly the fat on the beef contained most of the nasty flavor. Yuk. 5. The butcher was so lazy that they didn't bother to take off any...., and I mean any of the silver skin from the pork or beef. Did I say lazy? On many cuts, the silver skin crossed right down the middle of the meat and basically ruined the shape. 6. The hamburger needed a life raft when it was cooked in a pan. Between the fat and the water, it died a second time from drowning. They claimed it was "low fat". NOT. 7. The meat was wrapped in plastic wrap the then butcher paper. Nearly every piece of wrapped meat has blood or tissue on the outside of the paper. Not exactly sanitary. 8. We all know that there are different degrees of quality of meat. Prime, Choice, Select and Standard. You will not find standard cuts in a grocery store. At Linds, that's all you will get Their meat is not fit for you table or ours. Don't let their "nice guy" demeanor fool you. In summary, they have a LOUSY PRODUCT. We'll not ever go back again. If you expect quality and clean meat like you get in a grocery store...., go to the store.

We had our deer processed at Linds this year and it is the best summer sausage and jalapeno meat stick that I have ever had. A++
