Service is knowledgeable, if a little surly, but that doesn't bother me at a butcher too much. Products on offer are GREAT! House-made sausages and gyro burgers are fantastic, and the thick-cut pork chops are consistently the best pork chops I've ever bought. Game meats available frozen, and they were able to provide some pretty oddball stuff for our Spanish exchange student to cook a traditional Catalan stew. There's a reason this place had stayed in business for over a century.

Nice selection. Guess I am used to Midwest charm because the people behind the counter are not very talkative or friendly. Just answers questions with a short statement and that’s it. Will try again in the future — but not impressed with the customer service. Jerky is great and product seems quality though.

The community is so blessed to have this long-time gem of a local business here in Issaquah. My wife and I were fortunate enough to locate Fischer Meats not long after we moved to town about 12 years ago. Personally, I am a fan of a one stop grocery trip, but these days, we will not purchase our meat elsewhere. It is well worth the trip down Front Street to make the extra stop, even in Issaquah rush hour! This weekend was an extra treat. My wife wanted to prepare something special for Father’s Day, and after getting an excellent recommendation from the manager Josh, she surprised me with two premium T-Bone steaks which I had the honor of putting on the grill. Additionally, she was also able to pick up some treats for our four-legged daughter dogs, a bag of cut pipe bones which I also grilled for them. Needless to say, all of us had a wonderful weekend! Thank you Chris for having such a wonderful establishment. My wife Monica and I wish you many more years of continued success!

Fischer Meats was a great find on my commute home from work. They have a great assortment of meat cuts, including some yummy stuffed items as well as they're own meatloaf they make. Steaks, roasts, meat sticks, ground meat, bacon, eggs, frozen items. They also have some herbs/seasonings, meal accessories (biscuit/potato mixes, sides), and some one-off pieces of meat for rare or special occasions. That staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that they'll write cooking instructions on the meat packages themselves. Street parking in the front is hit or miss, but there is a small lot in the rear with a rear entrance as well.

They advertise they process wild game. What an effing joke. Took a deer in to be cut and wrapped and they said they weren’t accepting wild game. If that is the case, they better correct their false advertising. I’ll make sure to contact all fellow hunters to not waste their time and gas heading to Fischer Meats. Frustrating to say the least.

I was super excited to go here today. I haven't been to Issaquah in a long time and I wanted to explore Old Town. I saw the sign for this butcher shop and I love small town butcher shops. Sadly I was not impressed at all. When it entered the store there were two other customers in there and it look like four people behind the counter working. Two of them were taking care of the customers but the other two did not seem like they wanted to help me at all. They were wrapped up and doing their work, but what they forgot is that if people don't buy their work they won't have a job. So put down what you're doing and help your customers. Another thing that I really expect when I go into a small town butcher shop is to have some samples readily available. Of which there was none on the counters or on the tables that were in the lobby. One place that I really do like his Green Valley Meats over in Auburn Washington, they have so many samples you could practically get a meal there. Alas, I will not be returning to this butcher shop.

It's the only establishment I will buy my meat. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all the things they sell. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality product, you won't be disappointed. Josh is my favorite, but all the staff are wonderful.

The selection is fantastic and the frozen premade chicken Kiev, cordon bleu, marinara, etc. are absolutely delicious. My only suggestion would be more organic and free range options, but what they do have is top quality at very reasonable prices. Glad it is in the neighborhood
