What a HUGE LOSS for Seattle. They had the best prime rib I was ever able to purchase ANYWHERE. Hope they have a suggestion of where to purchase the best beef in Seattle now that they are closed. :-(

A&Js has some of the best meats in the area, and seriously makes the best beef jerky that I've ever tasted. Worth the drive across town!

This is the estabalishment you've been looking for ! They provide primo products WITH primo service, no kidding. Having frequented this wonderful store and been continually impressed with the outstanding quality of all their wares for over 30 years (yep, I remember the building of the smoke house), I know how fortunate we Seattle and surrounding city dwellers are to have them in our midst. I now live two hours S and still visit them several times each year. The holiday sausage is a MUST have every Christmas morning - too good to describe ! Many thanks to Rick and his terrific staff !

My family has bought our Christmas roast and sausages here for 33 years. I can't believe they are gone. Anyone recommend somewhere else to start a new tradition? Not looking for a glitzy butcher, but a butcher that respects and knows good meat.
