Their sausages are to die for as well as pretty much anything fermented or pickled they get their hands on. Aside from their product, their shop is clean, organized and is easy to search and shop in. Great place to shop. The local honey is a bargain. The country style pate is great with their crackers and some mustard. The local spinach is super fresh and stays crisp for two weeks. Beef and pork is fresh and local. A gem of a store.

Stopped here passing through to look at some property. One of the best burgers I've ever had. I also picked up a dry aged New York strip that I cooked up at home later. The quality of the meat for the price is worth every penny. The service was great and you can tell the people who work there are passionate about the food. I have to figure out an excuse to pass through Capone bridge again soon.

We plan our trips around the hours of this excellent (and now regularly award-winning) little butcher and market. It doesn't pretend to be Di Bruno Bros. or even Dean and Deluca, and it makes me like this place even more. Pete will make sausages to your liking with enough notice, and custom cuts come with thoughtful cooking tips. The wine and beer selection is enough make most everyone happy. The Saturday sandwiches are way above average. We frequently realize we're eating entire meals made of ingredients purchased there. They even host events where you learn how to butcher a hog. If you pass through town too early, kill time at the nearby River House until this market opens.

As soon as I walked in the front door, the smells were absolutely amazing!! The smells draw you straight back to the deli. All local meats and produce. Today, I had the House Burger, it was perfect! Their dry aged beef that they use, was cooked to perfection. So juicy and flavorful. Topped with American cheese, picked red onions, shredded lettuce and some tasty Duke's mayonnaise. The service is wonderfully friendly and helpful. A very welcomed feeling.

These folks know what they are doing. What a treat to find a skilled whole animal butcher and well stocked market in such a great little town. Their fine meats are pretty darn great (Tasso ham and Pickled Pepper Head Cheese!). The folks who run the place are friendly and passionate about what they have built. Excited to come back on Sundays for pulled pork or brisket sandwiches!

We love this little store. Favorites are the fresh produce, the baked treats, chocolate covered espresso beans and the crystallized ginger. They have beautiful meat including sausage.

Went in this place on a whim to check it out and left with fresh eggs, fresh sausage and fresh coffee. Coffee was the light 'breakfast' roast and the eggs and sausage were delish. We'll be making this place a regular stop on our future trips. Also, I overheard the butcher talking about their sandwiches to another customer. If they're as good and fresh as everything else we've tried there they'll be fantastic!
