High quality meats. This is a premium shop, meat cut after you pick it to order. They make and sell breakfast sausage, it is the best I have tasted anywhere. We bought more to take home to Michigan. A small shop the make lunch here to sell and have assorted add on like sauces and seasoning for the meat. Convience items and wines. Excellent customer service. Great place when we visit Vermont where the place we stay provides a full kitchen. We also bought smoked pork chops, hamburger and bacon. All very good.

The Village Butcher is a great butcher and Deli. They have quality meat, wines, and IPA's, as well as delicious sandwiches made to order. George's chicken pot pie is AMAZING, and even their homemade pickles blow grocery store brands out of the water. Stop in and grab lunch or breakfast :)

One of the best steaks I have ever had. Friendly and helpful staff. Do yourself a favor and shop here. Prices are reasonable and the meat is amazing .They have a great selection. If they don't have it, give them a few days and they will get it. You will not be disappointed, I promise!!

A wonderful family run business in the heart of historic Woodstock, VT. Great soups, and sandwiches, yummy homemade desserts, like lemon squares, brownies, judge and rasberry-filled cookies (to name a few). Exceptional butcher shop, good wine and beer selection. Very friendly and courteous staff. ❤

The elderly woman at this store patrols the streets yelling at people. We had just arrived in town and there were three open spots in front of her store - we tried to park in each one and every time she came out on the sidewalk pointing and screaming at my husband to go park somewhere else and to ‘get out of here’. Didn’t even make it into the store as we had planned to after this public display - why would we? We love Woodstock but this was an embarrassing representation of the charm the town has to offer.

To die for New England clam chowder. Grab a bite to eat, then proceed to the pick nick benches to overlook the bridge. Two giant thumbs up!

Super awesome staff and super amazing food. I always stop to grab a bagel or sandwich before or after walking around town. Super close to everything in town so it makes it easy to stop in. The owner is always there and will ask you how your day is going before someone makes your delicious food. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a bit to eat or just to have a friendly chat. The seating out side is also right on the side walk and that’s makes it super easy to strike up a conversation with someone. Please to to this spot you will not be disappointed.

Best potato salad and lasagna. Like mom used to make. Yummy! Their own kielbasa is fantastic, especially if it has just come out of the smoker, still warm. A great taste experience. People on tour busses, that are in the know, know to get sandwiches for lunch here and go eat them on the village green.
