(Translated by Google) When you come to camp in the area this is where we just do our shopping. There is everything. Good selection of microbrew beers. Only downside, the fuel pump is not easily accessible. (Original) Quand on vient camper dans la région c'est ici qu'on vient faire nos achats. On trouve de tout. Bon choix de bières de microbrasserie. Seul bémol, la pompe à essence est difficilement accessible.

Best deli around, a community treasure! You must try the cob smoked pepperoni!

Everything at the same place: a grocery and a liquor store! Great variety of fruits and vegetables (some are organic). However, the offer of no-gluten products could be improved.

Stop here if you're going skiing or are up in the area. There is surprising variety (so many spices!) and everything is well priced. If you need groceries up at the hotel get them here. There is a great selection of wine and beer but the best is certainly in their deli department. Every single time I go to Jay I stop here and get a grinder (sandwhich/hoagie/sub for you flatlanders...). Boars head meats and cheeses are offered if I recall (maybe Mackenzie too, not sure). The staff are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. This place has the feel of other general stores that you find here in Vermont, but has the variety/prices of a larger chain store. As a Vermonter, I appreciate that greatly!!!

Friendly staff and unexpected variety for a small town supermarket, good beer and wine selection, quality meats, and great deli sandwiches. They sell mascarpone and have a decent selection of gluten free and organic items, and a separate liquor department. If there's something they don't stock, they are responsive to customers and will order specialty products for you, or often add those items to their regular inventory. One point: consider the low volume before you critique the produce- I live part time in Montgomery and am grateful to be able to quickly walk over and get some lettuce or an avocado- and I'm mindful of the effort it takes to stock these items when you're an independent store quite a ways off the beaten path.

The grocery store is solid. But their breads are terrible. They make them with high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. These make you stressed and obese. They sell better bread but many of them have mold. I bought one without looking but they would not give me a refund.

They close early, so that is kind of an inconvenience, but it is the only grocery for miles. You make do with what you have.

Great place to get food after a day at the waterpark

Helpful employees and well stocked.

The place is dated. Went in to purchase some cold cuts to make sandwiches to eat at the park and you could see the food was old. When I asked the person to use the bathroom they said, "NO public bathrooms." Stay away your stomach will thank you !

Dan Tomaino

Good local grocery store with great beer and wine selection. Even has 2 gas pumps!
