I've been coming here for close to ten years, on and off. I discovered it when I was living in Roslindale and what a find! Super friendly and helpful. The thing that stands out is the quality. I've never been disappointed by anything I've purchased. I still go there now that I live north of the city. In something as simple as a whole chicken for roasting, there's nowhere to hide. Good products shine, and my guests were asking me afterwards what I did. I told them I got a good chicken, that's all. You won't be disappointed.

Since we found about this place we started to consume more beef, chicken and lamb. Great quality and fresh meats and the taste is something else. I drive a half hour each way every couple of weeks just to get to this place. Its worth it and we feel happy to feed our kids good food. Just call before you go because sometimes they run out of what you want.

Have always walked by and never had the chance to be a customer. Today has changed that! What a great local butcher, it was at the end of the day and he took the time to hand cut a delicious steak for my dinner tonight. A little salt and pepper is all this cut need to shine. Will definitely be back!

Very cordial, friendly, clean and professional butcher. He runs the shop with his wife. He enjoys interacting with customers (better than watching TV at home as he says). You can know how the animals were raised, where (in a farm in MA), and how they are slaughtered as he is involved in the process. He is also knowledgeable about different kinds of beef cuts and how grill them. You can get a fine piece of flank beef for your steak. He always has chicken and beef, but lamb comes only Wednesday or Thursday (i am not sure). Highly recommended

I’ve only been once, but will be going again. Bought a strip roast and chicken wings. Quality is great, beef was amazing! The butcher (apologies as I don’t recall his name) was extremely nice and knowledgeable.
