Perfect place to get meat!

Excellent quality meat at a good price. This is a small Halal butcher/grocery. I bought a veal shank here on a Sunday when I forgot that most of the North End would be closed. The place is very small and unassuming, on the basement level at the Haymarket. The meat counter had very little displayed, but I asked the butcher if he had a shank and he brought me two legs from the walk-in fridge to choose from. He trimmed them and took the meat off the bone for me. The meat was extremely fresh and tasty as anything I've purchased in the North End or anywhere else in Boston. They also have good prices on spices...big 2$ packets of things like cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, cardamom, thyme, etc.... Great shop.
