Called from an hr away to ask for a special cut of tones no fat or as little as possible I specified no fatty vanes going threw it. Was told she found the perfect cow. When I get there and get my 12 tones. There were the fattest cuts I've ever seen. Also half of my 12 didn't even have the filet portion. I'm blown away how I got the complete opposite of what I ask for. I have no words of the incompetence. Waste of time and money.

Très propre boucherie qui offre des viandes d'élevage responsable de fermes de la région. On peut y acheter toutes les pièces de viandes désirées, se faire trancher des viandes froides et acheter des saucissons. Bien que le service est remarquable j'ai acheté toutes les sortes de saucissons et quelques viandes tranchées qui étaient bonnes mais sans plus.

This butcher shop also has deli items such as the best smoked meat I've ever had, double smoked bacon, reasonable prices. Super friendly helpful staff. Not sure? They will give you a sample.

Great local butcher up on Covey Hill that is a good representation of Hemmingford! Always clean, very friendly people behind the counter and let us not forget why we came, the meat! They make what they call a "heavy smoke" bacon that is the best bacon I have ever had in my life. Plus they of course have every cut from the pig, cow, etc that you can come up with. Also they have a couple of freezers full of vacuum sealed items ready to go home with you. About a hour drive for my family but well worth the ride.
