This is exactly what we have been looking for since moving out here. Very friendly staff, great prices, and an excellent selection of meats. Even some cuts that salt lake stores don't have. They are also very willing to put together orders on request. (A 70/30 beef/pork sausage started as a specialty order) And to top it off standard cuts like brisket are cheeper than even Costco offers. I highly recommend them for your butchery needs.

No return phone calls on a meat issue. Dropped meat off so they could taste and gave them a phone number to call back on with results. After hearing nothing I made 2 attempts to call the owner and left my name and number both times because he was either out or occupied. Again nothing.

Every year I get a roasting pig from Tooele Valley Meats for our Porktacular, and they are always top quality. Hair is removed and the pig is dressed. I usually crack the ribs so I can get the pig to lay flat. (I've never asked them to remove the spine which is what some people recommend) This is not some shiny butcher's shop with glass and stainless steel, but if you ask nicely, they'll carry the pig out to the car for you. The pigs are generally processed on Wednesdays, but if you call ahead you can schedule to pick up a roaster Monday through Saturday

Every time I run into this place whoever is behind the front desk is very unfriendly, grumpy or impatient especially with their Hispanic clientele. They act more like they are doing you a favor. This might sound contradicting because their personnel in the kill floor are mainly Hispanic. So that makes me wonder; if they can't stand Hispanic or foreign customers how the hell they treat their Hispanic employees. I'm not buying from this place ever.

Best butcher I've been to. Drop by and order a meat package with various cuts for a low package price. Or just ask for a single delicious cut of steak for dinner on your own. Also got to try their jerkeys. Beef or pork, yum......
